Eben Pagan - What do you think?

I purchased his business start videos recently.

He promised a 1 hour consultation with one of his staff, which I got yesterday.

"James" said I was in some nice niches and that I should keep testing them.

Well, duh??????????

I mean there were some decent motivational videos, but this live session with some kid that obviously was a call center answerer just put a sour taste in my mouth.

Am seriously thinking about a refund of my $97 bucks on this one unless someone here can change my mind.

Best,
Ed

You're the customer, your opinion of the product you purchased is the only thing that matters. If you're not happy with what you got and feel that the value you were promised wasn't there then it probably shouldn't make a difference what anyone else thinks of the product.

    Well, duh??????????
Well, to be honest with you, most coaching advice you are going to receive from anybody is little more than common sense. What were you expecting, there are no magic bullets. Perhaps you weren't asking the right questions.

Now, you want some real advice that will also fall into the Well, duh??? category?

Eben Pagan is hugely successful, figure out how and why. Become an Eben Pagan information stalker and learn everything you can.

    I'll get you started.

How did Eben Pagen make his first millions?
    • He created a product, Double Your Dating.
    • He advertised that product on websites to reach his target audience.
    • He built a list.
    • He promoted additional products to his list.

If a coach told you that, you'd think Well, duh???.

It's the simple common sense stuff that works. Best of all, you can find all the information you need here or on the plethora of other marketing forums and websites.

Should you refund the product, that's up to you. I doubt Eben is going to lose any sleep over it.

Hi Ed, welcome to the hype!

One of the most beneficial aspects of consultation is "structure
implementaion." Everything you get from Eben Page and more is
right here in the Warrior Forum. You simply need to create a plan
    and stick to it.

If you were expecting some "magic beans," I can tell you now,
they don't exist. Focus, hard work and persistence is what wins
    the day.

If you feel you did not get the value promised for your $97, you
are well within your rights to request a refund. Take that money
and put towards implementing your master plan.

    Best of luck to you!

If in doubt, chuck it out.
If you have any doubts about this, you're not going to be confident to use it (if it is usable).
If it's within date, get a refund - NOW (if you can).
If it's a Clickbank product, at least you have a backup if you run into difficulties. It's YOUR $97!

In future, check the product AND seller before you commit to buy. IM Report Card is the first port of call, then search in Google.

Now if you'll kindly send me $97 (no upsell), I can tell you how to plug a PC into the wall socket, PLUS FreeBonus = How to plug a Mac into the wall socket. Plus - A One Hour Consultation (yes really).

Keep us informed, using this thread.

    Cheers

    Alan

First, I wouldn't expect much personal, one on one on the phone coaching for $97. There are exceptions, but in general you get what you pay for with this. And good coaching typically will cost you more than that.

Second, I think the notion of "everything you need is right here on the warrior forum" is a dangerous one. Here is what coaching is supposed to do...

        a) a fresh pair of eyes. It's hard to be objective in your own business. Simply having someone else look at it from an outside perspective can be valuable.

        b) contextual advice. It's not enough to KNOW stuff, it's to know WHAT stuff applies WHERE and WHEN. A coach is supposed to help you take information you may or may not know and apply it contextually

        c) accountability. nothing sucks worse than having your coach tell you to do something, then you come back for the next session and have to admit you didn't do it. This type of accountability alone will increase productivity.

        d) asking the really smart questions. Example: "You say no one can put people in a seminar. Yet, aren't there seminars going on everyday that have thousands of people in them?"

        e) asking the really dumb questions. Example: "So this worked really good for you 6 months ago. then you quit doing it for no reason. Why don't you do it again?" I have had that conversation with clients more than I should

        f) personal expertise. This is WAAAAY down on the list, but it's the one everyone thinks is important. This is the "expertise" that can be found on the warrior forum if you searched hard enough.

        g) time - if I did something you wanted to do, you could watch my 8 hour home study course on it, or you could get the most applicable parts to your situation from me in less than an hour if we did a coachign call.

        h) therapy - just having someone to complain to "out loud" helps you clear your mind so you can move forward. I have had more than one session where I was basically paid to listen to someone bitch about how their employees don't listen to them. But after they were done, they felt better and realized they could something about it.

        i) connections - often times a coach has does a lot of coaching has a vast network of other people they can put you in touch with. In this business people are more important than information.

So these are the benefits of coaching. You'd have to ask yourself if the kid on eben's "coaching staff" delivered at least $97 plus your time in value. Probably not, but anyways your coaching call was just a bonus on top of the info you bought from Eben so...

Just be thankful it wasn't a hardsell into a high ticket offer disguised as a "coaching call".
