I got the email for this product seems good at such a low price but I cannot see any guarantee apart from that it is sold through clickbank. I would wait until somebody has used it and has got good results.

Anyone can get massive hits of traffic - hey just go to Digital Point - to the traffic section and there are tons of people selling 'targeted traffic' for $1, $2, $5 etc etc.

If it really was good genuine targeted traffic do you think they would be selling it for that price?

The traffic would be worth thousands of dollars, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars, as you could put up a $30 or $40 product, direct that traffic to it and become a millionaire overnight.

IM is a little bit harder than that - just look at all the newbie frustrations you see here on this forum.

MMMMmmmmmmm - if only - then we would all be at the beach kickin back with a beer and not sitting on this forum.

  can i just say, i have sent an email about this perhaps half your problem is the sales page looks just like all the other clickbank crap sales pages.
  This is an incredible program in my opinion, almost like web 2.5, RSS, Auto responder, blogging and social networking all in one.
  I put an elert out, the first of many, and almost instantly, Google the headline and There it was, no 1 natural SE ranking long tail as anything but that isn't the point, the point is it works!
  It wouldn't need much to be well worth the investment, in fact if it was marketed right it could be pure genius.The program is still developing and growing as this business always is.
  If you don't grow and develop, learn and laugh at those who don't in this business you get left in the dust.

The purpose of generating traffic to a website is to get sign-ups and earn income from those sign-ups. Therefore, gaining traffic won't do any good if your not making money from all that traffic coming to your website.

My website (potency.instantbreakthroughs.com) is one that i haven't been TOO pro-active in marketing. i don't even have articles related to the niche yet. And yet, here I am making, on average, $500 per month from TRICKLETS of Traffic. We are talking just 15-20 visits per months. This has been, to me, the biggest proof that Traffic is NOTHING without a good, solid product that you KNOW for a fact that people need and want.

This is 100% pure crap, untargeted traffic. I would not be the least bit surprised if it was bots. You would probably get better traffic using backlinks on Yahoo Answers.

Apparently Wikipaedia and Yahoo! Answers are two exceptions to the no-follow rule in that Google DOES take links posted there into consideration. There may be more...

Actually, you misunderstand the nofollow rule. First of all, Google is the only search engine that actually even looks at the nofollow rule. Secondly, Google still follows those links AND indexes the pages. I have used nofollow links to get my pages indexed. The nofollow attribute simply keeps the link from passing PR to the website. It does not keep it from being indexed or counted as a backlink.

By gaining direct traffic from that link. If a link is nofollow but it brings traffic, then it is a good link.. and essentially, what links are supposed to be about.

From what I understand, the bulk of his traffic is from SEASONAL campaigns - i.e. trends that get a SUDDEN surge of interest from people. For instance, Halloween, Christmas, etc.

So if it is a long-term SEO blueprint for an on-going market rather than a seasonal one that you want, then it is still good information, but there are more practical blueprints out there

Hi Simon,

It seems most massive traffic systems, if they work, tend to send lots of traffic but no sales. The traffic is generic and usually does little good. I really think it is more to your advantage to learn how to capture traffic yourself. That depends on how you are marketing, but there are lots of info on the net and here on the Forum for you to use.

I would stay away from that, unless there is proof it works. I recommend saving your money and just use web 2.0

Hi,

just save your money. I also tried to purchase some service (not this one) that will increase my traffic, and yes, the traffic increased and I got 16 thousand visitors in one week as shown in my stats, but I also got 16 thousand visitors who stayed less than 30secs. and no sign-ups, not even a single one signed up. So I assumed that it was fake traffic, bots, that's it.

I stopped purchasing those kind of services that promises it will increase your traffic. Remember, if you're gonna purchase service to increase traffic, don't believe on that, if you gonna spend money, it would be better if you use your money for paid advertising like PPC, ebay's classified ads, usfreeads paid membership etc..., at least you know that your site is being advertised by high traffic sites as well.

There are also lots of free advertising to get quality traffic like article marketing, viral marketing, set up your own affiliate program etc.. I'm currently averaging "just" 350 visitors a week, or 1,400 visitors a month using free and some paid advertising, and it converts like 3 out of every 100, compare to 0 out of 16 thousand "fake" visitors.

Remember, QUALITY over QUANTITY...

Would it be an idea if you and Easy Cash put your heads together, and create one or more Traffic Systems for one of his websites ?
If when comparing the before and after, the conclusion turns out to be that his website's traffic increased AND the increase turned out to be targeted traffic (as in high CTR).
You've got a great show case to advertise with, and Easy Cash makes even more money.

That is amusing coming from someone with only 10 posts but I will ignore this blatant implication.

Looks like a good system for tapping into G's massive web 2.0 gadgets market. I guess true targeting is the question of the day as people have noted. What is the denial rate from Google. At $69 a pop, looks like plenty of testing and research needs to be before releasing a gadget?

I might have to check this out. There are way too many "KNOW IT ALL" users on the Warrior that pretends to know it all but know nothing. For me its like asking Working hard? or working hardly.. And some of those Warrior members know it alls fall in the latter category.

If people want opinions of a certain product, why mow down the product without even trying it?? Isnt this what this whole category is about "Review of products". Now how many who have commented and talked crap about the product actually used it? By watching this thread I would say ZERO but yet posts a plenty on how crap it and it never works etc. Too bad.. Most of the guys who have posted has the policy of Shoot First ask questions later..

Anyways I might give this a shot and see how it works then I can actually review it to tell you guys if it worked or if it was crap. At least if I say it was crap no one can dispute the fact that I actually used it.

I am wrting to ask after your health, because your post of 4-21-2009 had me looking forward to reading your review on My Traffic Strategy, but unfortunately there are no more posts from you.

If you are well, Gracious, could you please, at least say so. As for this product, it appears that no one including you, if you are okay, has had the courage to try it out.

Because I am a novice Internet marketing person who is basically learning from you guys on this forum I did not say anything about the product, but you are very correct to say that people are "shooting first and asking questions later". Lots of disappointments of the past from several other traffic generating products seem to have clouded minds about this product so far.

Well, what do you expect? Reviews only follow practical knowledge of a product. However, if elert gets to read this, could he please provide us with a demo or, at least, a video, much more better than sales talk and "testimonials". And, in parting, does this product work with several sites or just one? What about the terminal 69$, is it also through clickbank or not?

  Hi folks Lee here from manchester uk ive been trying for the last six months trying to get good targeted traffic to my site and when us newbies see products like this it gives us hope theres a answer to are problems. We no deepdown if it was great it would not be $77 and now half price so please WHAT IS THE REAL ANSWER TO GETTING TRAFFIC.

Hi Elite, Yes I plan to for sure but I am going overseas tomorrow and back on the 5th of May. So will give it a shot then and will definitely post here with results good or bad. SO far form what I have read it looks very different to what some of the trolls are claiming here as they dont even know what it is and they have already shot it down. It looks like a unique system that I have not seen anywhere and believe me I buy a lot of IM stuff.

I might jump back in here - I thought this thread was dead, but obviously not.

I apologize to elert for my previous comments. I am not sure why I made those comments - maybe I was having a bad day or I didn't read his sales page properly.

I think maybe I thought is was another one of those other traffic sales pages that promised a lot but often failed to deliver.

The other reason was probably because of elerts limited number of posts - it looked like a spam poster.

Did a quick inventory check of all meaningless, non-inquiring, know-it-all, cliche, parrot responses in this thread. One response even had to be removed.

More than half of the thread is infested with replies like this, making it hard to navigate and pick out the serious and meaningful ones.

You are the kind of people who would watch a documentary, or even a TV-show that you never liked (and more than likely do not understand either) each and every episode, for the sole purpose of making the same old remarks : "Look at that, ... Blah! Blah! BlahDee! BlahDee! Blah!".

But you also could have been doing something you are positive about, that you (want to) understand, and are interested in.

Instead you spend your time putting people, their ideas, interests, and opportunities down.

If things continue like this, in the near future, this forum might be sold as a pile of broken records on eBay.

Looks like a good system for tapping into G's massive web 2.0 gadgets market. I guess true targeting is the question of the day as people have noted. What is the denial rate from Google. At $69 a pop, looks like plenty of testing and research needs to be before releasing a gadget?

I paid for and used this system and eventually cancelled.

it was very time consuming and if you don't keep adding new information to your gadget
no one will keep subscribing.

Also if you are trying to promote high paying keywords like forex you will be out competed by those who can supply new stats on an ongoing basis.

All in all, it was a waste of my time, and you would be better off just buying traffic from adwords, msn or paying to get into yahoo directory.

Ok guys I am back from my travels, but guess what I am off again to Taiwan and EU next week. Sigh.... I am really sorry guys. I do plan on giving an honest opinion but work has me going too many places too often. I can tell you when I get back on June 16th, I wont have any more travels for the month of July at least so I will have enough time to really give this a go.

I'm new so you may not give much weight to my opinion...

I'm very impressed that the owner of the product takes the time to come on here and not only defend his product from people who haven't even taken the time to learn anything about it...

(most likely posting negative comments just to get their affiliate links posted)

...but also give real relevant information about how and why it works answering every question and comment no matter how idiotic.

It's also nice to see that others on this forum see through all the bs and are using this forum to do real research on possible new techniques to building real targeted traffic.

This is what got me interested in this product. I've seen the same old rehashed strategies being "sold" for years as new cutting-edge techniques.

For the record I have not purchased this product yet. (just got "laid-off" (fired) but as soon as i free up some cash i will buy it and i'm going to post actual results good or bad on this thread.

I'm not affiliated (pun intended:-) with this product in anyway.

I will become an affiliate of this product if it performs as I believe it will and write reviews for it.... AFTER I have proven it's validity.

I've read all these posts. Few are only serious. Rest sounds like old women yapping on a market...

I had also e-mailed traffic strategy. After their reply I will most likely purchase it.

My website is fairly new and it is based on content. It means it should build traffic without paid marketing. (Search engines should 'love you' - if I put it in simple terms). It seems to be working.

3 months ago I had an average 36 unique visitors a day with 2934 page views/month

2 month ago it was an average 53 unique visitors a day with 3752 page views/month

Last month an average 68 unique visitors a day with 19,352 page views/month

This month till today average 125 uniques....

I had Alexa around 4.5 million in Jan. Now it is around 1.79 million or so.
Yep, nothing to show off - just to give you a picture.

The above - without marketing - based on content and search engines.

You should just weight out your options, chances are your not getting tha tmuch traffic at a push of a button or anything! But if risking the cost is worth the potencial, maybe give it a shot. Read more reviews, dig deep into google on it. Always ask: What is the worst thing that could happen? If its not that bad...and What is the best? And if the best is unreal...then try it out!

But make sure you stick to the system, do not hgive up half way and say...poop...I was scammed again! haha

OK. I have purchased Strategy Marketing. I've read the entire guide. It is not healthy to read everything at one go as it seems overwhelming.

But we can't learn Medicine or Astronomy in one week either. It is same with the guide as with anything else. It needs a few hours, days or even weeks to absorb and perfect.

I had submitted two gadgets and I'm waiting for an approval. As I'm learning I might have done it right - might not.

It will take several months till the results will be obvious. Until then I will have very little to say.

Many people here on internet think to make money online is as simple as to get some MLM, SEO,
some script to follow or setup a website.

If it was as simple many of us would not work only receive money. It takes work no matter what you do. I've heard numerous times how 'he' was lucky - he set up Facebook, he created Windows...
But only few can comprehend how much hard work actually went into it. And it did not happen in 30 days.
They did not make money in 60, 90 or more days either.

Why some make lots of money? They persist. They don't worry about 'Make $ 50,000' in 90 days or any BS like that.

They know it does not exist and they have to work hard for many months, even years.

It requires experiments and trials. Sometimes you buy some rubbish and spend lots of money for nothing.

To know seriously if something had worked you need to give it a chance.

It is important to remember any paid marketing (if it works) will seize bringing you traffic and income as soon you stop paying for it!

That's why it is important to build your website without need for any paid ads. You can go on holiday or sleep for half a year like a polar bear and you still will have traffic and income.

You want to know more about it you might visit my website and read carefully pages on business opportunities.

It is the best thing you can do. After you create something and stick with it for at least six months or more then you should be able to write your opinion on that subject.

And that is what makes the difference between people who create (make money) and losers.
I could give you endless examples of people I know who just don't get it.

You might not be accepted to have adsense on your site.
Once it's cancelled there is little or no hope to reinstall it.
(More likely no hope)

That is all to it. At least what I know. There might be better explanations around.

You need a good trafic to monetize on it.

  A very interesting discussion is going here. As many members have posted some very irrelevant comments here, I would like to focus mainly on this product itself. Though I am not new here, I am not a very active participant owing to my other occupations.
  
  Coming back to this product 'My Traffic Strategy', I have some questions for Mr David Lockley (the creator of this system/elert) and some general questions for other members.
  
  I watched this youtube video posted by elert himself in which he has given a brief outline of this product :

  As per this video what I have understood about this product is this :
  
  This basically is a system which :
  
  (1) first of all, lets you create alerts about your niche. Some news, article or any other related information can be a part of this alert.
  
  (2) Then it allows you to convert this alert into a Google Gadget (iGoogle/Desktop) and submit this gadget to the Gadget directories at Google.
  
  (3) Since Google has a massive user base, it is expected that many people would search for the gadgets in the niches they are interested. So there will be many people who find your gadget in Gadget's directory and they will either download this gadget (if based on Goggle Desktop) or add that Gadget on their Google Homepage.
  
  (4) Now whenever these people view your gadget (either through their desktop or iGoogle homepage), they will see your alert. And if your alert seems interesting enough, many of them will click on the links provided in the Gadget. A click on the link will take these people to the alert page on the site elertgadget.com where they can read about the details of the alert.
  
  (5) On this detailed page for alert, there will be links (of course created by you while creating the alert) for your affiliate products or websites and it is expected that many curious people will click on these pages to visit your actual or affiliate website.
  
  So this is the system in nutshell as far as I can understand it. David I request you to kindly correct me if what I have understood about this system is wrong. I think I may have presupposed a few things but all in all your system is more or less similar to what I have described above.
  
  Now here are some of my observations on this system:
  
  (1) The final click on a user's affiliate or website link is taking too much steps in this system. First we create an alert, then convert it into a gadget which is downloaded by user, then user read about alert's details on elertgadget.com and finally he click on the affiliate link. In today's time where a simple search on google can give us what we want, do you think people will take such a long way to read about an alert ?
  
  (2) In reality this system does exactly what an RSS feed can do. You write a blog and people subscribe to your RSS feed and read it in a RSS Reader. Whenever you create a new post in your blog, people will read about it via their RSS Reader and many people who wants to read the full post, will click on your post's link in their RSS reader and they will be taken to your blog for reading the full post. Here in this system, instead of using a RSS Reader, people are reading about your RSS Feed (i.e new content created by you in the form of an alert) inside a Google Gadget and if they like the content they click on the link to read more about the alert. A significant difference between these two methods is that in an RSS Reader, at least whenever a visitor click on your post's link, he will be directed to your own website/blog. However, in this alert system, first of all the reader will be directed to the website elertgadget.com (i.e where your alert is hosted) and if the reader is still interested he may/may not click on your site's link by reading the alert.
  
  (3) Instead of choosing a long route of gaining visitors through e-alert it would be much better to create a Google Gadget for your RSS Feed itself and directed the traffic to your own blog/website instead of passing it through the site elert.com.
  
  (4) The biggest beneficiary of this system is the site elertgadget.com as all the eLerts are hosted on this site and all the traffic is first directed to this website. Then as a trickle down effect, some traffic also goes to the websites of alert creators.
  
  (5) The Product costs $79 . However, that is not the only cost. Once your elert gadget is prepared, (as described in the Sales Page)... you will be required to pay an additional fee of $69 prior to submission of your Traffic System to Google, a small price to pay to partner with the market leader. As far as I know the gadget submission in Google is free. So taking money in the name of partnering with a market leader is confusing. Further, if $69 is being taken as a fee for creating the Google Gadget for the user, then it makes the actual cost of this system as $148. Further it is not clear whether the $69 is a one time fee or every time we submit a Gadget this fee will be charged? David would like to clarify?
  
  As such this system appears very costly given the long route it adopts in generating traffic.
  
  Now here are some questions for all members (not directly related to this product but relates to Google Gadgets which is the main theme of this system)
  
  (1) Do you think Google Gadgets are very difficult to create ?
  (2) Do you think that Google Gadgets can be created only by programmers?
  (3) Would you be happy if someone from elance/scriptlance/Odesk or any other freelance site create a Google Gadget for your site/niche for $100? Or do you think it is too high or too low a price for a Google Gadget?
  (4) If require what's the price you can give for a Google Gadget Created for your website?
  (5) If you have enough time with you, would you like to spend time in Google Code to learn how to create a Google Gadget?
  (6) Do you really think that Gadgets can be a real traffic booster along with the other marketing strategies like Article Marketing etc?
  
  The reason I am asking these questions is because I feel a little amazed by the interest of people in this Product and I want to know the IM community's perception about this entire Google Gadget thing.

Hi all,
It's my first post so hopefully I don't come across as being negative, I too am interested in what this product can do, so I thought I would give it a test, if this product assists in generating traffic why is it when I search key words regarding internet traffic I cannot see it listed anywhere. I might still buy it as the risk is quite small considering the upside is quite high.

Awesome, thanks for the link Birddog. I've been watching this thread for some time and now I know I can move on.

It's useful posts like this and the one made by Li Weng that make this forum a great place to get useful advice. Too bad we have to go through so many "it stinks", "don't waste your money", "best thing since sliced bread" crap posts that provide no facts or honest options that are based on the "usage" of a product.

Heck at least use some heresy like "my brothers friends dogs cousin tried the product and he said......" :rolleyes:

  Thanks for the review here. It seems like way too many steps for what some other simple steps could accomplish in regards to free traffic. In addition, it sounds like the ebook is not the only cost in this matter.

I agree with the general consensus of opinion here, you will get huge numbers on your stats, but they will be totally untargetted visitors, probably from pop-unders who have no interested in what you are offering.

Building quality traffic takes time, build blogs on your niche and fill them with genuine content - use Google adwords to check out keyphrase traffic for your niche. Socially bookmark your blog posts.

This takes time, but eventually you will start getting people who follow your call to action because they like what you have to say and trust you.

There are many things you can do over the mid-to-long haul, far too many to list on this post but start producing quality content and you will have a massive advantage over much of the conmpetition.

Rome wasn´t built in a day.....hard work, passion and consistency will get you traffic.

Have to agree that SEO will do wonders for you. It does take time, but the old saying - Content is King is not said for no reason.
