Yahoo! Search Submit Basic

I have a vBulletin forum with lots of content ( www.mapforums.com ) and I get a lot of traffic from Google. Also, I get about the amount I would expect from MSN (about 1/5 of Google's amount).

However I only get 1/1000th the traffc from Yahoo! that I get from Google. I do use the Yahoo! webmaster tools and submit a sitemap, and Yahoo! crawls my site - a lot - as much a Googlebot does. However it does not index my content and send traffic.

So I tried Yahoo! Search Submit Basic, I thought this might help. However it did not. I only submitted my home page for $49, they allow up to 5 pages per web site / domain.

But anyway, it didn't help at all, it was a waste of $49 from what I can tell. I am not getting any more traffic from Yahoo! than I had been previously.

So - anyone have some comments on what works with Yahoo! or have any suggestions at this point?

    From my experience, you need to submit a post to Yahoo at least once a month until indexed.......
