Hosting Companies offering monthly plans? Other than Hostgator?

Hi,

I am just looking for a reliable hosting company which offer monthly payment plans?

Recently have bad experience with hostgator now looking for an alternative...

    I was shopping around a lot as I only bought my hosting package on July 4 (and in using it to move my content off blogger to my own host & domain, there was something fitting about doing it on Independence Day) and the results I saw on those doing monthly terms wasn't promising. I was looking for quarterly or bi-annual so I noticed the monthly ad.

    More discouraging: one of the more solid looking (which is not saying much) of the few host companies doing short-term plans that I checked back on had its sales page hacked. Seeing that and then the HG 40% off July 4 deal settled it for me.

    Not what you're looking for, but I post it anyway because I doubt you'll find anyone here hosting with one of the very companies offering monthly plans - other than HG.

    Problem is i couldn't make payment to them through my CC as a result my account is suspended, my CC is working fine everywhere else...

    Talked to their customer/billing/ service but they are not sure about the problem and could not figure out why it's happening so...hm

      Route your credit card through Paypal and pay them using Paypal. That's what I do.

      This is in no way an endorsement, but I remembered these guys from a webmaster review forum where they had a popular thread going on a promo they were offering (it was on a 1 year+ term I believe).

      They offer monthly plans @ 9.99/mo with unlimited domains, although they're not as feature rich or established as HG. If it has to be monthly, its a place to start:

      SharkSpace - Web Hosting, Reseller Hosting and VPS Hosting

      I would recommend trying to find some review of them first. I have no experience with them and therefore no opinion (and that is a direct link as I have no affiliation with them either).

    Do you have paypal? You can switch to paying via paypal through your hostgator billing control panel.

    Or you can check with your credit card company what's going on. Recently I had an incident whereby my credit card couldn't be charged online. I later found out it's because AMEX changed my card with one that comes with a new chip so the expiry date and CVV number was changed as well. That was why the charge couldn't go through.

    Richgard, Paypal don't support our area so this option is no viable for me, Second i have checked with my CC company everything is ok at their end.I have even made some transaction online successfully...Problem is at Hostgator's end and they are unable to figure it out...

    There was a WSO on here for HostTheName that offered cheap hosting for Warriors something like $12 year for the basic which is the same as HG baby plan.

        Well I think if the op is looking for a cheap option then why pay a small monthly fee of around $9 when for about $12 year they would get the same service.
        I know what option I would take
