Deadbeat Millionaire may be an appropriate name...

After looking at a few systems I decided to plump down my (limited) funds

I must say I am not really very impressed.

Links spoken about in the videos don't exist.
The support section is broken and...
There is no email or other contact method to get support
The website builder makes a pigs ear of the content layout (bad alignment, text overruns, etc.)

I am beginning to think I have spent unwisely.

From the teaser text I was under the impression that I would get more than just some templates that I would be rewriting and doing pretty much all the stuff I would normally do - but it isn't. It is just templates. Sure, it installs Wordpress for you, but I can do that standing on my head.

Unless someone can tell me where I went wrong, I think I am going for a refund - very disappointed after all the kudo's that were given to Dan's product - It's almost like I ended up with a different one than the reviews were talking about.

Either I am confused or I expected too much.

Mate this isn't the place to post stuff like this. If you have an issue with the product you need to take it up with the creator, not register to post about your grievances on an unrelated forum. If the support isn't working and you are being ignored and are unsatisfied with the product, I would suggest you SEARCH around (before making threads like this which will probably be deleted after I post this) to see if other people are having the same issues.

Go to the search option on the upper right hand side of this forum and type "deadbeat millionaire" and see what comes up. If you've tried everything and still don't hear back from the product creator, initiate a chargeback.

I am new to here, not new to the internet or forums. I am very familiar with SEARCH - it i pretty much my day job... and I bought the product after registering here and doing research on a simple system for someone new to IM. I didn't have a problem then go looking for somewhere to bitch about it.

I tried to post the question in the review section, but new users aren't allowed. There didn't seem to be any other relevant place to post it.

If I could contact the creator, I wouldn't have posted in here - that is number two and three on my list of issues.

Maybe instead of telling me what I did wrong, you could have pointed out the right place to post this - I searched the site and couldn't find anywhere - except maybe the off-topic forum that seemed to fit.

But thanks for your help, really, Mate.

Really? So you registered here TODAY, researched, bought AND had all the problems you say you had? Damn, that's fast. Seems like a near impossible feat, as a matter of fact.

That rule is in place for a reason. It's not good form to try to circumvent the rule by posting wherever you feel like it.

Really? So because you can't conceive that someone might spend 16-18 hours at a task it is fishy?

Do you want the website addresses? I can set you up as an admin if you want to check the timings, I'm going to trash them anyway... I can send you copies of my email registrations on here and my receipts from Brokearse millionaire if you want those as well.

You have absolutely no idea what my background is, what my capacity for work is, yet you decided you know enough to make a totally uninformed and pointless comment to do what? Get your bloated post-count up?

Did you consider that I am in a different time zone as well Tina? more than 12 hours ahead of your time... i can do a lot in 12 hours.

I wasn't trying to be a prick, just telling you what the rules of the forum are. Here, I searched for you.

        It seems his helpdesk license has expired. He is currently online here. According to his profile other people are having similar issues;

His Skype contact, also found in his profile, is dantheinternetman. Send him a message on Skype and see what he says. If you still do not receive a reply do as I said in my original reply and initiate a chargeback.

Thanks Scott. I guess I was a little testy - I don't know what time of the night I wrote that, but I had been flat out with all the material and trying to see if it was me.

Anyway, what do you expect from a Kiwi - uncultured fool that I am

I read the reviews and searched the forum (see, Scott!) for this and relevant articles on Dan Brock and thought it was a worthwhile chance to take - but am not so pleased with the result.

Well I bought that product, and i got to say, keep your money man and go for refund. He is not helpful, his ticketing is slow and he doesn't bother.

His support is appaling, and very buggy. You better off finding other product to help you out.

      Thanks.

My background is in highend tech and looking at the quality of the product it was about what I expected to get for the money.

Doesn't mean I am happy to blow it, though. I have set a strict budget for this project and can reallocate that to where it will do more good.

The thing that annoys me is how many people gave the product, and him, such rave reviews on here. I guess I need to be more circumspect when believing the gullible.

      Cheers.

The last time I read the main review thread about the product there were a few people unhappy. Maybe they got deleted or something. You should add your response to that thread (without getting personal) so other potential buyers can read about your concerns as I don't think this thread will last long.

Thanks Fraggler - that thread has been locked.

I am not interested in slagging the guy off, I had some questions, they have pretty much been answered.

I'm not on a mission to diss Dan Brock - I tried his product, it wasn't for me.

Maybe for some people his product is acceptable - I may be more critical than them, but it is a buyers market.

My bloated post count? LOL... yeah, that's it. I'm trying to get my post count up.

I was trying to make a point, one that clearly did not come through the way intended. I think trying a product for a mere 24 hours is not nearly enough time to decide if it's going to be useful or not. And seriously, you can't give the guy some slack on support when it's only a day?

You can't possibly know if a thing will work in that short a time and Dan could be out-of-town or anything. I'm just saying that the right thing to do would be give the man time to respond before coming to a forum and basically trashing his product.

Maybe its YOU who needs to give a new member some slack. His points seem valid to me. Doesn't come across as an idiot at all. And whats this about 24 hours? Heck I've made my mind up in MINUTES about stuff I've bought and been disappointed with. And why can't Support respond within a day? - that's the way it should be. Even if it's just an automated reply saying "We've received your ticket and are going to jerk you around for the next two weeks".

Carry on Kiwi - let us know how you get on. (Unless of course this thread gets nuked or moved to the existing Deadbeat one)

If Tina had bothered to read my OP - there was no email, no support, no way of contacting the vendor at all. It wasn't that I had tried and gotten impatient waiting for a response.

          That raises flags with me.

It isn't like I didn't try - I searched here for Dan Brock (the name on all his material) but no luck - he is registered as Daniel, of course I should have known that...

I am not so impatient as to dive in with both barrels (to mix a metaphor) if I submit a request and to presume I am the most important thing in someone's world, but there was no way of contacting them and things that were spoken of in the training materials were not available on the site - another indication that it was a hastily thrown-together package.

Call me old-fashioned, but when putting together a business, paying attention to the little things is important - such as a working site, working application and working email.

I'm going for my money back.

I also purchased Consumer Wealth System and they are like chalk and cheese - very professional, questions I posed were answered within hours, and followed up with a 'how did we do' survey and an email form a QA person checking that I was getting on OK.

Their content is very applicable to a newbie like myself and I am going to carry on with their plan and see how it works out. I will be giving J Roos's material a crack as well, but for ow I think CWS is giving me enough to be going on with - 7 websites set up already, now content to write, SEO to get my head around and learn, learn, learn!

So much to learn! Luckily I am very web and systems-savvy, so learning WordPress was a doddle. I am very experienced with Joomla (3y+) and will carry across the techniques to sites made using that as I am much more competent in it.

I quit the product due that support was slow and ill manage. Send him an email, no response. Turns out that email is not working and need to contact his help desk. At that point of time, i thought the email will send to his support desk.

Lucky i was a member in this forum, if not, i would not even have a reply because turns out he disable that email support. He did not even bother to email his list or members that he disable the email support and direct the members where to get support. I believe that is a sloppy move on my part.

Then I got treated like garbage and not not even value like a customer. If he treated me a lil better, or in the first place inform his user that he disable the email and direct them where to get a support, i would have continue with his program.

Here's the thing: stop waiting for someone to do this stuff for you. Instead do the 30 day challenge or buy Rank and Pillage and LEARN what you need to do and how to do it. It does take more time, but I'd rather spend the time researching and picking my own niches then relying on someone else. And the tech stuff really isn't a problem anymore. But everyone wants things done for them, with no though involved. This is why programs like this make SO much cash.

Not everyone wants things done for them just the people who pay for it. They also pay for it when it supposedly comes with support. Maybe it's been a while since you were a newbie but I'm sure you'll remember what it's like trusting in what people sell.

Come on are you guys serious? The big angle this guy pushes is that he's a lazy SOB, that he doesn't like to work - that it's a rare day he spends more than an hour or two working. Did I mention that he's lazy and doesn't like to work much?

Then your shocked, shocked I say...SHOCKED..that he might not offer much (or anything) by way of support? Hell if anything he's just being consistent and proving that maybe he wasn't lying in his pitch like everyone else does.

      Ha. That'd be pretty awful.

I don't really know about the program itself. But I can definitely say that being lazy isn't the way to become a "millionaire." I know he's well respected and it's great marketing. But still.

He's a brilliant marketer and from what I hear a very nice guy too.

Actually in my experience that's true of pretty much of all the top selling CB IM guys.

But - you anyone who is serious about making money needs to wise up and start doing what they actually do - not doing what they say they do....and it's pretty easy to SEE what they do..every day you get an email sellin the dream from the next guy...

Why is it that every time a guy makes $1000 as an affiliate the first thing he wants to do is a product launch teaching the next person how to make $1000 as an affiliate...."things that make ya go hmmmmm"

After reading the OP I don't get why people are saying this isn't the place for this post??

He is a genuine buyer of the product and is leaving his opinion of it.

He hasn't slated the product creator but simply commented on various aspects of why he felt let down by the product.

I'm far from new to the forum but isn't that what the "review section" is all about? Different peoples views on the specific product.

The opinion must come from someone who has actually purchased the product and can't be just speculation and of course general slating of the product creator is'nt allowed, but I see nothing wrong with the OP other than maybe it should have been added to an existing thread and not a new one??

The reason is more likely that there is a Dan Brock fan club here on WF due to everybody promoting everybody's launches but with that aside people are allowed an opinion!

I remember coming onto this forum a year or two ago...read all of the rave reviews for a product. Bought it, and it was like the worse thing i've bought...EVER lol. Don't base your decision on just reviews here...of course read the negative ones too. I also bought this product. You're right because I expected more of it, but i'm giving it time because with all of these products, success is not made overnight. I haven't had any sales with one of his niches YET, but i'm starting to see promising traffic stats once I added an autoblog to it lol I found the benefit of the product is in the niche...not the system itself.
