WP eStore Plugin v. WP e-Commerce Plugin

Do you have any experience with either of these plugins?

I plan on using one of them to securely sell my digital content (mp3s, PDFs).

The WP eStore Plugin appears to offer a simple customer experience and a secure download to protect my content.

The WP e-Commerce Plugin appears to offer the same benefits, and its free.

I just wanted to see if any of you have had experience with either of these products. I'd really appreciate any recommendations you might have.

(Sorry I couldn't provide any links because of my newbie status! If you google those plugin names, you'll find them very easily in case you want to take a peak at them.)

THANKS!

If you are on a budget, then go with the e-commerce, if not then go with the eStore one. They both are pretty similar, I like the functionality of the eStore on better, but if you are lacking funds, then the e-commerce plugin is a good option as well.

You can always switch or upgrade later when you get going better.

I use WP eStore and it works great for what I'm doing with it.

      Thanks for your input.

Would it work well for mp3s and PDFs?

Would using it require a lot of extra coding to get the secure download page?

What have you liked about it?

It's extremely easy to use and there's no extra coding. And that's what I like about it.

It sends out a unique download link every time someone purchases something (MP3, PDF, whatever) and you specify how long the link is active and how many times the link can be accessed, just like with DL Guard. It also includes a cart, which is very easy.

In my opinion, it's MUCH easier to use than DL Guard and it looks nicer without a lot of extra work.
