Any inside info on Ryan Deiss' Digital Marketer Lab?

I've been mailed this on a couple of lists and it looks really interesting, but it is expensive, so I'm wondering if anyone has any info on it?

Thanks!

    Hi Mike,

Whilst I don't have any inside information, the cost of this seems very high. Add to that the scare/fear tactics used to sell his coaching it begins to leave a bad taste. Not that I have anything against Ryan, but this message has been used over and over again to sell high end products. And guess what - IM is still here.

Sure mobile and social media are here to stay. And there's a lot of people here learning about, using and profiting from them. My advice is to go over to the WSO section and check out some of the courses and offers in these areas. You'll learn all about them, spend a WHOLE lot less and be able to communicate with the authors directly.

It does look good and I thought he gave away some impressive prelaunch content (which I'm actually using now with great success).

But for me, I think I'll give it a miss... Got way too much on at the moment and the last thing I need is another distraction.

Saying that though I have bought some of his previous products and the ones I have bought have all been great so I reckon this will be of the same quality.

Agree that the scare tactics and price are questionable. My take is that you can stay abreast of the fast changes/trends in your market (i.e.)apps,ipad,kindle,mobile, etc) and keep your business front and center. Don't be afraid of change and don't ever think that the new technology doesn't apply to you! I liken it to the birth of my first child when I read nothing about C-sections "knowing" I would not need to know. Guess who ended up with an emergency C section......dang.

Stay up to date, read tech blogs, read this forum, ask questions.....pay $97 per month for that? I don't think so.

This guy is usually trying to scare us telling the "the internet will be gone soon" or things like that but what makes me feel calmed is that the basics of interent is information and everytime you can provide good information to other people you will win. The only this that can change is the way we provide this information (right now through kindle, ipads, iphones, mobile and so on). So what we should do adapt our strategies to the new way of provide it...that´s all.

Did you rememeber when Ryan Deiss killed his blog and told us that blogging will be dead and things like that? That's the only way of making money should be by giving paid information thru membership site and he told us why give free information if we can sell it? I´m 100% sure a couple of months later he saw how his traffic went down and the unsubscription rate go high.. the solution? Admit he made a huge mistake and get up drivingtraffic.com again. And also...launch their new memebrship site called digitalmarketer.com where people will pay $97 dollars/month for "secret" information in the IM niche.

From me Bye bye Deiss... I will continue my infobusiness...I do not know if you will bite again.

I sent an email to his people today asking why he thinks continuity/membership sites are going to die especially considering he's selling this information via a membership site.

This is pretty decent but compared to other programs for $97, this could be worth it. I paid for one for only 1 month which proved to be pretty useless where the leader acted like some pompous uncaring a-hole. I was dumb to fall for it where I closed down a 1000 unique visitor/month site. I have relaunched another site to recover from it but man, was I stupid to have the privilege for paying $97 for that major loss.
I have been part of other programs where my business has increased traffic by 2x-5x. Those ones are worth it but this last one was kind of useless. This may be worthwhile since he has built an entire team around his online marketing approaches. But I will just stick withe the free approach on Warrior Forum.
Just my useless 5 cent POV.

        EPIC FAIL..

he talks about how adwords is dying...yet i found his landing page from an adword ad.. and his site was in the top two positions. with the top one using site links.

then he says membership sites and continuity programs are dying but he is selling is $97 per month program using the continuity model.

then he starts talking about hoe it will be absolutely impossible to get a site rank and profit from it using SEO, yet one of the manuals he gives away is an SEO workbook.

their were many other quirks that i saw in the video.

yes the internet is changing as any technology does as he said in his video but it is definitely not to late for people to start making money today.

change is good...adapt, stay educated and informed and profit!

I read the article in Wired and Ryan is right about the use of Apps but I really don't think the internet is going to go away because people will always have a reason to go out on the WWW to check stuff out. Ryan is obviously using scare tactics, but I can tell you that his stuff is really good because his company tests the heck out of everything.

Does anyone know if Ryans Digital Marketers Lab is offering the same information in his Total Access Club?

I am not completely buying this either...

Yes the web is changing... but its not dying out! People will use more apps and mobile technology.... I dont know about you guys.... but I like viewing the web via my 13" screen as apposed to my smart phone... why? Cause Its easier to view information due to the larger screen size!

    Keep up with technology....

Ryan is a great and knowledgeable guy and his testing data alone is worth multiples of the membership fee.

He's a guru - but one of the good ones.

XponentSYS - We're on the same page. Ryan is one of the true authorities, the amount of money and effort he places in his products return a very good investment.
