Looking for opinions about Google Cash Detective

Chris Carpenter is launching Google Cash Detective. I've just watched the sales video and I'm very impressed. But not having any experience with Adwords, I don't have any point of reference to judge its real value.

Any opinions?

    Honestly, google cash detective is overly hyped. First, google cash detective use the principle of direct linking to generate affiliate sales through adwords. The problem is Google doesn't allow direct linking for affiliate.

    Google cash detective works in similar way with affiliateelite.com

      Yeah i've got to completely disagree with this one. Google still does allow direct linking, they just discourage it by only allowing the display url to of one affiliate product to show per page.

      And the difference between Affiliate elite and GC Detective is with Affiliate Elite you have to Manually enter keywords to be tracked every day to see what's going on with them. With GCD the software comes preloaded with 2.5 million keywords that have already been tracked for the last 90 days.

      That's invaluable information in my book.

    Oops! I made a mistake! Google Cash Detective version 3 is not open for launch yet. Chris sent a message to the people on his list to see who would be interested to act as a beta tester. The official launch is coming later.

    My experience with software that pulls other affiliates k.w. info, is that they are not very accurate or thorough. Some of the data they return has to be severely off. Such as very broad k.w.s being bid on with high prices. I tried to copy some of them and lost a bit of money. Maybe google detective is different.

    I'm a beta tester on the new version...

    It looks pretty decent inside and a few new features have been added.

    I'll give it a more indepth look and let you know.

    The guy that talks about Direct Linking and being over hyped is right about direct linking. We don't use that method here at my company, we always crank out landing pages to promote offers.

    I can see where he is coming from with Direct Linking, but you don't have to direct link. You can easily crank out a Landing Page or get it outsourced as Chris Carpenter recommends!

    Google Cash Detective is a tool that we have in our arsenal and we use it everyday. Out of the handful of Paid Tools we use, this is one of them and it takes a lot of guesswork out of the game!

      True Eben but he is not trying to attack this is he? There are plenty of campaigns where people either direct link, and many of these will be competing in your same space!

      I don't think I will be buying this software as I have access to other tools that won't cost me the $1000 plus the monthly $97. For the same price you can subscribe to a few tools that will do the exact same thing for the same price, but without the $1000 upfront. OK so it will be a little more effort to do the same thing.

      What Chris has shown is the approach he is using which is interesting, you can use this without the tool

    Agree with last comment. Direct linking is not dead. And GCD2 offers a laser approach to PPC marketing and can save a ton of time. Constantly adding to it's landing page and keyword database.

    I agree Direct Linking is NOT dead you just need to know what you're doing! With Google Cash you will have much better success than random cranking!
