Well okay so I see people use Proxies with Scrapebox, I don't know why so I just want to know why is that?

I have a 1GBPS server and I see that I'll make no use of that if I use proxies. Plus it would be very slow and a time consuming job so what do you guys say? Why do we even need proxies?

Depending on what you are trying to do I think you will be fine with the inbuild scrapebox proxies for starters.

But I'd like to know why do we even need proxies?

Whats the use, backlinking is the purpose and Google won't consider what IP did something.

I think your question is in the wrong section....However, the answer you are looking for is - Google will ban your IP address if you keep hitting it with scrapebox from the same address, and you're right, shared proxies are a waste of time, definitely get private ones if you want to be able to work fast.

Google will ban you from harvesting, running PR checks, etc. The other engines will eventually ban you as well. So you need proxies.

I disagree though with afxx. Shared proxies are fine.

Public proxies: Potentially used by hundreds of people. They'll burn out quickly, but you can still use them for some tasks.

Shared proxies: Usually shared between just a few people. I use them for a number of different tasks. They're always reliable & fast.

Private proxies: Nobody else has access but you. Though they can get expensive.

When we make comments at Blogs using Scrapebox, we have nothing to do with Google so is it okay if we use Scrapebox without proxies at that particular time?

Also, I've seen some people who prefer not using proxies and stay safe from Google.

Not only for searching. Most of blog platforms have anti spam modules prevent spammy comments. If you continue with same IP for a long time, they will discard submissions from you end. That's why we need proxies to use with scrapebox.

Definitely! Especially if your ISP does not have a Dynamic IP address for you then after some time of using SB, you'll notice the very low success chance due to a lot of spam blockers picking up your IP.
