?? What is a Good "Uploader" Software to use??

Hey Warriors

Can anyone recommend or give a review on a good Auto-uploader or Auto-Installer Program or Software To FTP --Files or folders to your Hosting Account Server ???

I am just Totally Confused (Mental Block??) on cPanel and FTP--I would appreciate replies with information on Uploaders----Thank you Debra

      I've used FileZilla for some time now. It's open source and is updated regularly.

      I can't post links yet, but filezilla-project.org would be a good place to look.

      Could you clarify? I'm not entirely certain by what you mean by AutoUploader or AutoInstaller. Do you mean software that will let you create/update a website locally on your PC and then automatically send (or FTP) to your webhost? AutoInstall sort of implies to me putting software on my PC or putting a "package" such as Wordpress plugin on my webhost server. Let us know and I'm sure someone will be able to help.

      I use cuteftp and like it a lot.
      You might want to try the open source FileZilla. Can't beat the price.

    Yes, I am also confused. If you want to upload something to your server you certainly need to tell the system exactly what is to be uploaded, and to which folder -- therefore it can't really be automated as far as I understand it with my few brain cells...

      Some people are grumpy.......maybe if you had referred to a specific product for a review of it, that would appease him.

      I believe that you are having trouble syncing your FTP and Host account (cpanel). I would contact your host provider and have them walk you through what you need for your username and password for the cpanel to work. It should really be that easy.

    Mike-- I will try to clarify--- I appreciate you taking the time to help a beginner--- Maybe there is no such software ---But I see Turnkey websites --- Ready Made websites---and sites selling PLR advertising that they have Autoinstallers or Autouploaders so you do not have to Ftp yourself*** Below is text used to advertise on these type of sites and there are many sites advertising this method ????

    I have read Rules and do not understand why my the post doesn't belong here--- Is it because I do not mention the name of a product or program--- It can not be that ---when I look through the other post's listed--- may do not list a product or program name???

    The main forum I though was for the discussion of making money ??

    I think if anybody is offering an "auto uploader" type software, it is going to be specific to their product/membership, etc.

    It really would benefit you to take the time to learn how to upload files and folders using an FTP client software, or your host's cpanel. There is a small learning curve but is a critical skill to learn, IMHO.

    I also use Filezilla FTP software...free and works great.
