Jeez, I didnt even read the salesletter, but knowing Jason's work as I'm a current Traffic Kahuna member, I couldnt turn down the discounted price.

From the initial look over, it seems like a website version of Affiliate Elite mixed with some other strategies and services, but time will tell I guess!

Anyone else purchase or review it, and have thoughts on it?

    • Hi

I was one of the lucky ones to join with like 3 minutes left. I also joined based on previous experience with the guys and portal feeder. Finally learning about pay per click from Jason K will be cool cause I feel like I can trust him to not steer me in the wrong direction and all. I started a small site with regular updates on what I'm learning but can't add the link here yet so if anyone is curious please pm me.

  • PPC Kahuna looks pretty interesting thus far. Here is the inside scoop from personal experiences.

PPC kahuna is a combination of desktop software tools as well as online only tools and a bunch of training. One of the major components is a desktop tool called "ppc kahuna" which is a really sweet tool. Its pretty much a desktop version of google cash detective and keywordspy. It's really straight forward and easy to use. It has some nice filtering options along with "other" useful features.

If your into adwords and understand the power of spying on your competition then this is a tool you will love. I leave the thing running in the background and its sits there gathering spy data based on how I have the scheduler set.

Then there is another desktop tool called keyword corral. This is used with a google traffic estimator csv file to get seo competition information and filter that data. It's really straightforward and definitely has it uses.

Then they have a whole bunch of web based tools. The web based stuff is like speed ppc but with some added tools. This is really awesome stuff if you don't already have speed ppc.

As for the training part, I'm not sure what to make of it yet. The tools rock thats pretty clear. The training just started and they say they are redoing alot of it adding a bunch more.

Another interesting thing is that they seem to be planning on showing how to use the tools from a PPC and SEO perspective. Kind of weird since the name of the program is PPC Kahuna.

As long as it works thats cool with me.

    • I wouldn't say it competes with Google Cash Detective at all. The training methodology is completely different than GCDetective.

      Other than price.

  • I was one of the lucky few to get this product at $67. I find the tools provided to be excellent and the training videos are also very helpful even for newbie PPC marketer like myself.
  • Hmm very interesting. Ill read up more on this.
  • hey guys, ppc kahuna seems to be good. i heard good things about it. But stay pending because soon i'll be sharing some of my ppc2.0 classroom lessons and some other courses for free.
  • Hi E-genius, please share your PPC Kahuna experience.
  • Hi Dexx,

As a TK member, to use BlogFeeder do you have to submit your own blog for other TK members to post to before you can make your own posts to their sites?
    • [1] reply
    • NO, you can post without adding your blog.
  • jjcali, I said It seems to be good, I havent said I tried it. Im also waiting for more reviews.
  • I managed to get in PPC Kahuna and JK is the man. He is very honest and is currently doing a set of videos taking people through a complete PPC campaign and shows you how to use the tools along the way - very impressive, clear and easy to follow.

There are a lot of other tools that are a huge time saver (and money saver)!

Keep a look out for this one when they open the door to the public...

    • Hello everyone,

I've signed up to PPC Kahuna upon releasing the beta special offer, I believe it will go public soon, they released this beta version to collect feedback and improve the software, so far,I found it superior, and as a TK fan, I know these guys will end with a great piece of software, didn't use it that much yet because I don't have time for watching the videos,ut upon getting any ideas I'll inform you.

  • Any updates from people who've used the tools / training?
  • Just an update, PPC Kahuna members have just been given access to a powerful need landing page generator that makes SpeedPPC look obsolete!

Not to mentioning video and PDF training on how to make serious money using it...

Oh...and it's free as part of our membership!

    I love these guys!

    • PPC Classroom is getting ready to launch Version 2.5. It is a rock solid program with a step by step actual virtual classroom which teaches you PPC and provides so many tools I can't list them here.

I tried Traffic Kahuna and was not impressed. SENuke is 10 times better than a blog co-op. The Web 2.0 sites are automated with SENuke and you just get instructions with Traffic Kahuna on where to post. The weak interface and how they laid it out really turned me off, so I am not really excited about PPC Kahuna.

My recommendation is PPC Classroom. They don't have to "redo" any videos, they have a complete course with added videos and video seminars constantly giving more tips and tricks for making money with PPC.

    • Be wary of landing page generators. Google has been clamping down and slapping quality scores for mass generated landing pages.

I love Speed PPC and use it almost every other day, but I don't use the LPG for this very reason. I have been hit by this bug already. Your landing pages are the place where you catch your leads/ sales. The most important part of your campaign outside of Keyword research. Mass production seldom works for more than a short while.
  • Hey SpiderDog, I' a beta member of PPC Kahuna. The PPC Kahuna software reminds of a desktop version of PPC Bully..with no limit to how many keywords I can monitor and also cheaper (but it does use your own computer resources). I personally think the historical database is not a good thing for GCD since you and everyone else are going to be looking at the same exact data set.

With PPC Kahuna I create my own database which I only have access to...So yea you will have to do some work by adding your own keywords and collecting your own data with PPC Kahuna...It's simply a tool...Thats whats great about tools...there not some gimmick..but just another weapon for ones arsenal.

Personally do you think if Google Cash Detective was such a cash machine for creating simple direct linking campaigns that someone as smart as Chris would actually sell access to the database?...

    • Good review. I haven't tried PPC Kahuna but this review almost made me do it since I am a member of PPC Classroom and know what you are saying here is true. That being said, I have been very happy with PPC Classroom. You say PPC Kahuna is a far superior product, my only hesitation is you are promoting both affiliate links and the more profitable is Kahuna.

Any other reviews by actual PPC Kahuna users?

  • As to whether how good this product is or whether it works, responses are ambiguous. The product seems a bit over priced for several reasons: (1) The verdict is not out yet as to how effective it is and (2) the world economy is such that many will not be able to afford it.

    • I am one of those who would like to become good at PPC, but is not ready to devote the time to learning it. I think I will just hire someone like Teron Dale to run my campaigns for me and collect the money from the campaigns.

Right now I am devoting much more of my time on the affiliate marketing side of my business with SEO rather than PPC.

I would like to see someone develop a course for Affiliate Marketers that does not spend a lot of time selling someone else's products, but lately that is what it is all about...lol.

Thanks for sharing all the PPC Kahuna data, though, because it is nice to know what someone can expect when buying a tool.

      Have an amazing day!

  • I joined PPC Kahuna and PPC Classroom 2.0. There is no doubt in my mind that PPC Kahuna is a superior program. It is a more clear, in depth, step-by-step blueprint for learning and taking action. Combines PPC + SEO (if you want) for best performance. On top of that, it provides all the tools anyone should need to speed up the process, unlike PPC Classroom. I understand if you think this sounds like a paid endorsement, but it's not. I'm not an affiliate of PPC Kahuna - YET! I'm just one excited customer.

  • Big question for me.....

Does it work on a Mac?
    • [2] replies
    • I know I'm wrong but I thought ppc kahuna is a spy software.
    • It's a Windows program but it works if you use Parallels. In fact the training videos are made on a Mac by using PPC Kahuna in Parallels.
  • Hey Dexx, I was hoping in a couple of days you would give a review on how you like ppc kahuna.
    • [1] reply
    • I also would like to see more reviews of PPC Kahuna.
  • I am a PPC Kahuna user. I tried to get in PPC Classroom, but the payment wouldn't work for me for as was the case with others, so I can't compare it to PPC Kahuna.

So far PPC Kahuna seems outstanding. I'm not that new to Internet Marketing but I'm a little new to PPC Affiliate Marketing so I'm starting with the 14 day quick start training guide. Each day he provides a PDF guide file to go along with videos for that specific day's training. There is also seperate training for the tools and software that come with PPC Kahuna.

One strong point I see with PPC Kahuna, at least so far based on the 14 day quick start training, is the PHP Power Tools (Weapon 4) that are found on the sales page. In my opinion, he could've expounded on those because they are extremely time-saving tools, especially Keyword Manipulator, Long Tail Generator and Keyword Phrase Builder for finding the best keywords for the niche you're involved in. There are some other tools also that help you write the ads.

If you're interested in it then I'd say try it out for 30 days and if you haven't made enough by that time to cover the monthly membership fee then cancel and get a refund. This is what I told myself and so that's what I'd advise you to do.

But if you have any specific questions I can try my best to help answer them for you.

  • I am being bombarded by emails from Chris Carpenter of Google Cash Detective and the PPC Classroom guys since signing up for PPC Classroom.
Does PPC kahuna replace or do a similair job to GCD and Speed PPC or do I still need either of these tools?
    I would appreciate your comments.
  • Hi Guys

Just signed up and started watching the first videos. My impression on this is very positive - videos are well structured/clear and documentation is really good.

The first video talks about how to initially research properly. Jason supplies a proper flow chart which actually makes sense.

Really well done in terms of clarity and structure. Also the membership interface is clear in terms of getting around.

I have not had a look at the tools yet - but if they live up to the promise it will be good because everything is integrated and tested.

Big problem with some other teachers/membership sites is the ad hoc way of suggesting this tool and then this tool and then you find out some glitch that was never talked about to start with. Really annoying when it happens. I don't want to mention any names but tracking and adwords integration is a big one for me.

Another one of the problems that I have experienced in the past with this type of training is that its hard to know where to start and what logical progression to approach the methods.

But, I am relieved, this is NOT the case here. Also, Jason appears to be a straight shooter.

Summary - This looks a pretty professional site to me. This is just a genuine impression - I am not trying to promote it. But you have to recognise when something is being well done.

As a community we should acknowledge the people doing stuff properly and professionally. They are in short supply.

As I go along with this I'll post an update to see if everything stays on course.

    • Genius paragraph. I'm keeping that one in my daily diary.

      ---

I'm with TK and probably won't join PPCK as I won't use it right now. But TK is one of the few exceptions to the "promise big, deliver small" rule we see in IM.

So Jason K makes truthful promises on his sales pages in my experience. In IM it's so rare to find this. Truthful meaning significantly unexaggerated.

  • Anyone know how much GCD2 is going to cost?

I ask this because from what I can tell its between PPC Kahun and GCD2.

I like the fact that GCD2 will allow me to see what ads are sending traffic to specific sites. I think that as a tool is invaluable.

  • Thanks.

That settles it then, PPC Kahuna it is.
  • Ok, so PPC Kahuna is setup so that YOU enter the Keywords and are basically starting your SPYING from scratch. To find a profitable campaign you need to watch keywords, ads and landing pages over a certain period of time (50+ days) to determine a profitable campaign. The longer the better. For example, if you were running an ad for 50 days do you think you would be making money???

Well I hope so, or that's just plain stupid. So anyway, the difference is in the way that you SPY. The training that Chris offers is also by far Better. Chris walks you through it step by step and makes it crystal clear.

I know that it's an expensive piece of software for most ppl, but you have to understand that if you're not making $900 back in your first week, then you're just not taking action.

When I used the software, in the first 24 hours I cranked enough campaigns to generate $900 within that first week and that's not including what I was already running. So make your decision wisely.
    • [1] reply
    • PPCKahuna is not just a spy software, that is one small tool in all they offer. They have a campaign creator, landing page generator and the list goes on.
The cool thing is both offer refunds and so try them both, put them to work and if they work good.. if not then refund. No tool is anything more then a tool... a chisel is useless if not used... but give it to a sculpture and watch what they can do.
  • Hey there richfit, first I have never used GCD so my comments are only based on observation of the videos and what not. I noticed you said that Chris provides way better training then PPC Kahuna, have you seen the training and other tools they provide? If so then more power to you, but if you haven't is it wise to make such a claim?

In PPC Kahuna, you do have to add keywords and watch campaigns over time on your own. There is no premade database. The logic is the same with both tools, there just is no premade database, which I see as a good thing myself. Information in most cases is worth MORE when less people have access to it...which is why I like to keep my competition intelligence information as private as possible. I also just read that you can only track Google in GCD. PPC kahuna has Google and Yahoo tracking right now with MSN coming very soon.

For the money in my opinion PPC Kahuna is a way better value...but that's me...I look for tools not so called magic buttons.
  • "The thing I see with GCD which I see makes it standout is almost the capacity to reverse engineer a PPC campaign BY THE URL."

This is great info! Can PPC Kahuna do this? My concern with GCD is what if they don't have historical data for the specific URLs that I want data on???
  • I have been using Traffic Kahuna for 5 months and I am very happy with results,it has put me on the first page of Google for very completive Keywords that have large national companies competing.
I just signed up for PPCKahuna,I am new to PPC .It is taking me longer to get started then TK did,I know I am learning from people that have already delivered and I trust.I am watching some or most videos 3-4 times.LOL
  • Your right jjcali! And I would say to just find other profitable campaigns and run those!
    • [1] reply
  • Does anyone know how you host PPC Kahuna?
  • PPC Kahuna runs on your computer as a Windows program not over a host.

  • I am a member of PPC Classroom, as well as PPC Kahuna (via PortalFeeder). I have to tell you Jason's training in PPCK is best in class. No kidding.

PPC Classroom has somewhat of a slicker interface, but I find the layout of the PPCK training easier to follow and clearer. JK provides checklists with each module to keep you on track, and the videos are great. It's very easy to understand and follow.

Not to mention the PPCK tool itself, which is a virtual gold mine of profitable information, and the other tools PPCK provides.

Hands down, PPCK is the winner.
  • I went to the site and I saw it cost $77. Is this a monthly fee or for the course duration?
  • $77 per month.
  • I am in a quandary. I subscribed to the free one month trial of PPCClassroom. Whilst the info is comprehensive and seems excellent my head is buzzing with so much information that I now stopped looking at their stuff with sheer exhaustion.

There are different facets to this program which you have to pay extra for and that annoys me somewhat.

Then I get email after email, webinar after webinar from these PPCC boys....there's so much a brain can take! I know they mean well, but it's too overwhelming. Maybe it's me that I can't handle it. I need a holiday.

So from what I have read on this thread so far, JK of PPCK seems the guy I should learn from. I will buy his course @ $77 a month which is OK. I hate those sneaky upsells not mentioned on marketers sales pages plus extra payments for this tool that tool and the other. I hope JK doesn't do that!

I am 68 years of age and love the internet but haven't got a 20 year old quick brain. I just want to learn from a genuine honest decent marketer to give me the tools with support if I need it so that I turn all this into a reasonable online income for the rest of my life. I don't want $100K day....but a month would be acceptable (ha)

I love the new GCD version 2 concept. I want to know if someone could tell me would this be a good partner program with PPCK?

Thanks for listening to this old man.

    Pete
  • Right now I have both GCD and PPCK. It's possible to combine PPCK with GCD. You would use the training from PPCK (he has a very good 14 starter guide) and then use GCD as the research tool. PPCK has its own research tool and it's good, but if you want to benefit from the 2.5 million keyword/4+ month archive of GCD then you would use GCD. PPCK has many other useful tools to help you find additional keywords, make your ads and landing pages.

So far Jason offers wonderful support and is always on the forums answering questions within a few hours and sometimes minutes.

But please keep in mind I am not that experienced in PPC, but do understand the concepts and have taken a look at how I can benefit from both. I'm trying to make as much $ as possible within 30 days so I at least break even from both. Let me know if you have any more questions about PPCK.

  • Whilst GCD is a brilliant and instant tool as compared to the others, my bet is, it won't be that long until a competitor comes out with a similar tool sooner rather than later. I thank you all for your favourable comments of JK's PPCK. I will now buy it and bye to PPCC.
    Phew...I can breathe now.

  • Is anyone making $ with Kahuna on a consistent basis- or is it just to soon to tell? I'm starting up in the ultra competitive health, fitness, and weight loss niche. It would be great to know in advance which tools work in the real world- and which ones are hype.
  • I have a few questions about PPC Kahuna.

    1. Does anyone also have ispionage and if so how do the two apps compare?

    2. Can PPCK be used for Google Placement Targeting campaign's and if so also for Yahoo and MSN Placement targeting?

    3. Do they have any training on Placement Targeting in the PPCK training area?

    4. Anyone making some good money using the PPCK sosftware and care to share your experience's?

    5. josjongejan, you mentioned in post #72 above that you were going through the training with your wife. I'm curious how that worked out for the two of you.

"Unless expressly authorized by website, no one may hyperlink this site, or portions thereof, (including, but not limited to, logotypes, trademarks, branding or copyrighted material) to theirs for any reason. Further, you are not allowed to reference the url (website address) of this website in any commercial or non-commercial media without express permission... • Does this get into the content network at all? Seems almost a crime if it does not.

Also interested in the LP generation but am hoping they can keep it ahead of all of the slaps that keep getting more and more severe.

Watched the 60 minute video and saw some conflicting information. He recommends everyone start with zip submits for CPA. Most every expert I have researched says to avoid zip submits like the plague because they very commonly get scrubbed into oblivion. Also ZS only pay 1-2 bucks... Who's right?
  • Hrmmm not sure which experts said that, but even Gauher Chaudry teaches his PPCF members to start with zip/email submits first as they are cheaper to test and covert at a high rate.

What ALL the experts do mention though is that you need to pay very close attention to scrubbing and shaving that might occur as networks try and rip people off on the submits.

    • I agree with that maybe I am lumping everything together, that's the problem when I over research something...

I seem to remember many saying about 6 fields seems to be the sweet spot.

Anyway I just checked and found PPC Kahuna to be closed.

Are you still happy with it, and do they get into CPV or the content network?

Amish Shah has a new CPA product with software that I would like to know more about but it is going to be $$$$$$
