Free Conference Call Services - Have You Used One?

Has anyone used a free conference call service like freeconferencecall.com, gotomeeting.com, totallyfreeconferencecalls.com, etc..?

If so, what was your experience, and which would you recommend?

I have used freeconferencecall.com - long time ago. It was ok. I thought gotomeeting.com is free only for a month or so (trial).

When you say "it was ok", what do you mean? Was it the call quality, ease of usage, etc...?

Skype would be fine, because I just want to record sessions with one client at a time. But, my computer has audio problems that I haven't been able to fix, so Skype is out for now.

    Hi there mwright,

I recently used freeconferencecall.com for an interview product which I turned into a wso. It worked seemlessly with very little sound issues. Downloading the audio as an mp3 was a snap.

I'm actually amazed they do this service for free!

    Good luck,

    Tony Brayley.

That's two warriors who have used it, so I'll give it a try.

Freeconferencecall.com is a very good service. I believe you can have up to 1,000 people on your call if memory serves. They include recording for free and even host the .mp3 file for you! They get their money by advertising. Well worth getting.

      To followup:

I used Freeconferencecall.com, and it was just what I needed. Once I understood how to get the recording started, I was good to go-go! I recommend it.

      Thanks for all the replies.

I have used some of the free conference services but their audio quality is not good and even feel distortion so i planned to move a conferencing service which should provide good audio quality along with not ruining my wallet. I explored and shortlisted some of the services where ConferenceCalls seemed most feasible and they provided free one week trial so signed up and then i got to know that its excellent conference service provider with crystal clear audio quality along with cutting the cost of service upto 90% than other conference service provider. I loved it... thank you ConferenceCalls

I have also used FreeConferenceCalls, and it's always worked fine for me.

That said, here's a free report & free app for recording Skype calls:
