I was wondering if anyone had any information on 'The Site Rush'. The first testimonial is from Alex Goad so naturally I want to buy this right away

    That was funny lol

Well, I have the Site Rush. It has lots of general ideas but not enough details. For example, it asks you to buy sites at a low cost and resell them at a higher cost. And it shows you where to sell the sites. This is all general knowledge for IMs. But it doesn't show you step-by-step intructions on how to sell it. For example, the most optimal time to place your auction, the best way to list your auction, etc. But that's just my opinion. I have quite a few website flipping guides. Site Rush would be good for newbies but not for experienced IMs.

    Hi

If you didn't like 4TAM you won't like Site Rush asit's also by Saj P, the guy behind 4TAM.) And also Affiliate Payload).

Although it's marketed as an Alex Goad product, it isn't really, it's a JV I guess with Saj P. He did the content and Alex gave the name and list.

I quite liked Site Rush (this is not going to be my usual length of review) and yes I agree it's basic. However, it does give a series of ideas and encourages you to think big picture which I did like.

If you do fancy the idea of learning how to flip sites, it's a good place to start, but then again, there is a ton of material on here on how to flip sites as well and some WSOs.

Like with most things, you can read guides and stuff. But you learn by doing.

I have developed a few sites and sold them on with average results but learning to write the sales pages to sell sites is a skill like everything else. I think in reality, you learn by studying who does the best, looking for ads for sites that sell for the most money and copy them or analysing what makes them successful.

At the end of the day though, a site in a popular niche with good provable revenue stats and traffic stats sells well for good prices. Sites which are new and have no revenue or stats sell poorly for hardly any money.

The key to site flipping, in my limited view, is pushing a site first before sale to get decent revenue and traffic stats, but I am ready to stand corrected.

It all sounds like a great business model but I've spent hours looking an expired domains and looking at this or that site to sell on the other site and find usually most if not all I look at is rubbish.

I have found it to be a waste of my time but that's becuase my time is limited and I have found it more cost effective to build websites, landing pages and create products.

It might be different for other folks.

Site flipping is all very well but I wonder how many people actually find create sites on Digitalpoint going for a few bucks which they flip and sell on Sitepoint?

I guess people do but I have not found them.

I have strayed a little off point but I guess I would say look here first to find the posts on site flipping and then go and have a look at sedo.com, digitalpoint.com and sitepoint.com and ebay.com for domains for sale and just use some common sense.

If you like what you see and want more information, get Site Rush.

But at the end of the day, what is there to teach? You find attractive domains on Site A and sell them on Site B. You buy an attractive domain name on Site A and sell it as a complete package on Site B. You build a site from scratch and sell it.

There doesn't seem too much else to say. You just have to get stuck in.

Like with most things, several hours of practical experience doing something is better than hours and hours of studied knowledge.

    But what do I know

I didn't buy the site rush, If you are looking for a really good primer on flipping, google "Pimp My Flip". It's about $10 and is filled with a lot of good information and useful tips. I'm not into flipping per se, but I bought is based on the summary outline I saw and was satisfied with it.

If you are into testimonials, as I recall Willie Crawford gave his on this.

I learned quite a lot from PimpMyFlip actually, Site Rush seems a bit too much hype for my liking though...

    Could just be me tho.

Don't like the hype programs. Most are pretty good for beginners and have a few good ideas, but really aren't that beneficial...just too much hype. So did not buy Site Rush.
