Wordpress Membership Plugin Review

Hello,

I'm looking at the Wordpress membership plugins out on the market and I was wondering if anyone has used any of these:

- wp-Member (http://wp-member.com)
- MemberWing (http://[URL="http://www.memberwing.com/"]http://www.memberwing.com[/URL])
- Your Member (Your Members Wordpress Membership plugin - Wordpress Specialists)
- WordPress Wishlist Member (http://member.wpwishlist.com)
- Suma Plugin (http://www.sumaplugin.com)

You reviews would be appreciated.

  • I'm also looking for a good wordpress membership plugin. Is there any good and not to expensive?
  • I'm using WordPress Wishlist Member on
    several sites that are all in development
    right now - haven't been tested heavy
    yet.

    But I really like it - and Stu McLaren
    and Tracy Childers are two of the best
    guys I've ever met in this business. I
    give it my highest rating without having
    run several thousand through to ensure
    everything is happy making.

    Right now it's only compatible with 1SC,
    but Clickbank and PayPal (I think) are in
    the works. Setup with 1SC couldn't get
    much easier.

    • Thanks for your feedback X. That is the one I'm leaning towards. However according to their website they indicate it is compatible with Paypal and ClickBank so hopefully that's been added. I've sent an email to them asking for confirmation since I don't use 1SC.
  • I use Your Member (which also is getting CB integration soon). There is a new plugin that hasn't been released for beta yet and it kicks butt I can't wait for it to be released.

  • I am also looking for the good wordpress membership plugin. Have you tried one from your list? I searched and found WP-Membership Plugin that looks good and not so expensive. Does anyone ever use it?
  • I have tried pretty much all of them. Your BEST bet would be amember and the incremental bridge plugin (if you want to drip feed content). After that, the best plugin by far is WishList Member. It has pretty much everything you would ever need in a wordpress membership plugin and they update it WEEKLY!
  • Wishlist. It works like a charm.
