What's Your Favorite Software Used in 2011?

There are a bazillion threads on the forum about the 'essential' software, but some of those recommendations are waaaaay out of date.

In this thread post your great software recommendations, but please only recommend programs you personally have used SINCE JULY 2011 as some tools have become less effective over time with changes to video site guidelines, Google (especially PANDA), etc.

My Top 13 Right Now

SERPAttacks - keyword research, benchmarking site rankings
Roboform - password management (seriously could not live without this one)
Chrometa - time management
Scrapebox - finding forums, checking indexed links
Dropbox - file sharing
VirtualBox - virtual PC
PicPick - basic graphic editing and screen capture
Total Video Converter - convert video/audio to different formats
WinRar - file compression (better compression than WinZip)
Jing - video capture
CClearner - PC maintenance
TheBestSpinner - article spinning
TextMaker Viewer - open/view any text type file

What are your picks?

I'm really into cloud storage at the moment. I love Dropbox because I can work on the same stuff on my desktop or my laptop and also access it on my phone. I also love Evernote for quickly making loads of notes and captures.

For working on multiple computers Dropbox is definitely a 'Must Have' - I use it about 10 times every day now

A number of the above but no one has yet mentioned Dragon Naturally Speaking.

My typing would be attrocious after about ten minutes without it.

Heh I had Dragon 9, it sucked. My wife who is from Australia had a real tough time with it. It takes longer to use. I finally upgraded to 10, after being nagged to death by a pushy sales guy for the company. Quite frankly it seemed the same. I will say the software seemed to finally work part of the time with my wife's accent.

          Hey Necro

I'm an Aussie and have had the same problems with Dragon not recognizing the Australian accent. It works out faster for me to touch type than use speech recognition and then have to correct every 4th word :p

Did your wife find any good speech recognition programs that are suitable for Australian accents?

Here are my top three that I use all the time:

OpenOffice - Free substitute for Word, Excel, etc
Screencast O Matic - Very inexpensive substitute for Camtasia
    SECockpit - Keyword research

I used to use Jing, but after finding Screencast O Matic, I don't think I'll be going back to it.

For FireFox, my favorite is ScreenGrab, which I use everyday and hundreds of times a day.

With a simple right-click, I can capture the whole page. I use it to add new ideas, good sales pages and sales page/download page of purchased products to my swipe files.

The only drawback is sometimes it cannot successfully capture the screen when there is a flash video on the page.
