EZ Niche Builder from Incansoft

Anyone using EZ Niche Builder from Michalis "BIG Mike" Kotzaolios And His Trusty Sidekick Diego Hernando ?

Does the Search Engines see this as a generated site.

Can a PayPal pay button be installed.

Can a optin form be installed.

Any advantage over just using a Blog.

      Hi Mel,

Why don't you send Mike a PM. I am sure he will be happy to answer you questions probably quicker than waiting for someone here.

      Regards,

      John

I'm playing around with the script and can say that it simplifies the website building process. It gives you what you need -- no more -- no less. Codewise (at least for us users) it is barebones BUT will get the job done.

TIP: I read the manual and I don't recall it explicitly telling us to upload or ftp the article text files into the same directory or folder as the script. But that is what you'll have to do to start seeing articles on the site.

NEG: It would be nice to get an admin panel, but for $7 bucks I can live without it. The script didn't work immediately, I had to get my web host to look at the .htaccess file supplied by the script and have them modify it to work on their server. And you need to FTP the files in BINARY transfer mode.

Not necessarily the fault of this script, but to get any Amazon, eBay or Clickbank products on display, you have to make sure you are using keywords that will trigger any products to show up. There was one eBay display that was missing a link to an image.

My opinion is that the search engines won't see these sites as generated -- you'll have to come up with your own template either written by yourself from scratch or purchased on some template directory.

A Paypal button and optin form can be easily added.

The big advantage I see this script has over a blog is the simplicity of uploading articles in plain text format and you're done. No need to mess with details such as affiliate id or logging in and filling in all the blanks after the initial tweaks of your template and settings in the config file.

However, the script can't drip feed articles which is possible with the right plugin on a WP blog, nor can articles be automatically pinged like posts on a blog.

I have bought it but haven't used it yet. I was concerned the search engines might see it as auto generated content I don't know if it leaves a clear footprint or not. Also with the advent of wordpress you can now set up feeds etc easily. This however has the advantage that the pages are displayed as HTML pages rather than php.

Sorry to resurrect such an old thread here but I have EZ Niche Builder and I think its great..
Unfortunately, its been discontinued and the files are protected with Zend optimizer.
The problem is, I can no longer get this script to parse Ebay's feeds since they switched over to RSS 2.0.

Just wondering if anyone else has this script and found a solution that's viable?
I have two sites ranking #1 in Google using this script and hopefully, I can figure something out before trashing the script for something I can use.
    Thanks
