Simple Sites Big Profits - Marcus Campbell

Purchased this Marcus Campbell product August 31, 2011 from webinar hosted by Austen Walsh. A little on the expensive side but Marcus has an easy going teaching (sales?) style that appealed to me, the program seemed really straight forward and logical and it came with a 30 day money back guarantee so I bought it on a three monthly installments option.

The website has many modules covering the various aspects of niche selection, keyword research, website building, traffic generation, and so forth. The teaching style and content are very good.

The website states that I had been granted access to the members area for 90 days and that it would be $97 a month if I choose to continue after that.

However, my menu did not have the selection for the members area so I sent in a support ticket to gain access.

That support ticket and the subsequent 3 tickets and the request to cancel for a refund have all been ignored with zero response.

I even put a post on his blog that I needed to talk with him and still no response. I don't understand how someone who professes to want to help me succeed won't even return my messages.

Now that the first 30 days are up Marcus has now charged the second installment. It seems he is determined to get all of my money and refund nothing. There's a big note on the site to not initiate 'illegal' chargebacks or he will prosecute. Seems like he's using scare tactics to keep people from getting their money back. When he won't respond what option does one have but to issue a chargeback?

All this just because I asked for access to the members' area as promised.

Marcus has other products that sound interesting but I will never ever buy another product from him.

I'll post a reply to this if the issue gets resolved, or not.

    I suppose you requested a refund from their support desk.
    Better go straight to Clickbank to get a refund, before they charge you next month's installment.

    Open your Clickbank Receipt email to click the customer service link.
    After selecting your reason for the refund, add the comment: "Please refund immediately! Do not change this to Tech Support" or for faster response, phone Clickbank to request for a refund.

    This seems more of a support issue than a product review.

    Starli88 gives excellent advice about getting a refund from Clickbank. Always go direct to them and ask for a refund. Do not be fobbed off with any other option.
