Has anyobody tried CBProAds?

I received an e-mail yesterday concerning CBProAds. it's basically your own personal CB storefront. I was wondering if anybody has any experience with this and if they have actually made any money?

I tried the 'Adsense type' format. I had no success with this at all.

I tried it but I found it difficult to get
      i) The exact product you want
ii) Make it truly conetextual as Adsense does for instance
      (CBProsense is best for this)

The store is OK but as far as I could work out
      i) you could only have one
ii) It cannot be hosted by you...

If you want to generate ads for specific categories on Clickbank it is great because it does return nice pictures and descriptions...

I've been playing with the free version - both contextual and then the image ads. I like the way it adds the images but so far I've had no clicks.

I've also tried the adsense format and have made no money.

    I'm doing better with textadmarket.com

    very easy to implement

I've tried the image ads format and incorporated in my main IM blog. But so far no sales yet. It looks really nice though on my blog :-)

I also used the CB storefront option. For this one, you need to pay around $32 a year (if I'm not mistaken). The store itself looks great and professional and the products displayed on the site are accompanied by graphics and pictures, completely different with other free CB store that only displays words and categories on the page.

However, I also haven't made sale from this storefront, mainly because I don't promote it hard enough. Other thing is this storefront cannot be hosted on your site (that's why you must promote the ugly URL if you want to promote your storefront). In addition, never bother to purchase the guaranteed visitors option on the CBProads site. It's completely useless and waste of money.

I've done well with the Context style ads which allow me to choose the keyword so that the products displayed match my page content.

I like the fact that they have rewritten the descriptions to provide a more Adsense style. (The original descriptions on Clickbank are mostly aimed at marketers.)

The display is just as easy to set up as Adsense - insert a piece of javascript on the web page.

Like Adsense, best results are on dedicated pages without competing Ads.

They also look good on a page.

The displays with images are attractive but not targeted enough (selected for a broad category rather than keyword) for my purposes.

As CBProAds advertise Clickbank products, and you only get paid if you make a sale, the traffic should be of a kind that does well with affiliate advertising - it must be targeted and preferably in a buyer frame of mind. For instance, PPC traffic from the Search Network is good; traffic from the Content Network is less successful.

Displays for TextAdMarket.com are similar to those from Bidvertisers.com. The advertisers bid for the display on your page and you can get a lot of ads that don't match the content of your web page.

I have tried it a little and it does generate rather nice-looking ads but not very targeted. The clickthru seems very low.

I quit using them and instead I select CB products myself and make my OWN ad banners to promote those - since the banners provided by the merchant are usually very amateurish, or non-existent.

Has anybody tried the Proads Store itself . Basically you pay a membership fee and you get an affiliate storefront loaded with all clickbank products. I have just purchased one but would like to know if anyone has one and what success if any they have had

      Thanks

I've used something similar. Scripts are available for sale elsewhere. It just depends on how well you promote the different sections as they require targeted traffic.

Also very useful is Adspurt (Adspurt.com) which is a one-time purchase and will underline certain words (keywords you nominate) on a page of your content. When the cursor passes over the word a small ad (of your own choosing) pops up with more details. A click from the reader takes them to a Clickbank or Paydotcom (or other product) sales page. It's fairly cheap, can be setup on as many domains as you wish, and is excellent for monetizing autoblogs.

I also find it very good for producing opt-ins. For instance, if there are 5 keywords triggered on a page, each one causes a little hover ad to pop up which promotes my squeeze page. Each little ad can be different to highlight a particular advantage of opting-in. They effectively pre-sell the squeeze page, making it more effective.

I use them for some time already.

I put them on some of my blogs as well as on the forum. VERY easy to integrate since they use adsense format.

I really like how the ads look, and yes i get the occasionally sale also, i see it on my clickbank stats when i get a sale where i know i dont promote it anywhere else

Adspurt has one big drawback. It does not has an option to limit the number of times the keywords get turn into links on a page. It looks spammy.

I contacted support many times but do not get a response.

update on the cbproads site - it is down. I finally received an email from their support staff. And when you try to go to their site, this message is displayed:
"Domain... will be back in a few hours...We deeply regret for the inconveniences caused by us. Thank you for your patience."

That is good to know, especially if you are a paid member!

I haven't done much with Clickbank in awhile, so I decided to fire up CBProAds and try it again on a few sites. It will produce the code, but no ads show up at all. Anyone know if they are still around? I'm a Pro member, but haven't received anything from them in awhile. When I try to contact support, the email comes back as undeliverable.

I still get constant reminders from them of special deals but don't use them these days. Clickbank has its own ad builder which produces something very similar to the one offered by CBProAds.

          Hi

Yes they are still around and have some new stuff going on. I received an
email a couple of days ago saying :-

          Dear Peter

Thank you for associating with CBproAds - The No:1 Toolkit for Clickbank Affiliates!

We would like to inform you that BETA version of WordPress plugin for Clickbank Main
Storefront has been released.a Beta Test ...

And there is now a Version 4.0 of their StoreFront is available.

I had a look at it and it does look fairly slick and much more professional
          than the older versions.

            Excellent product.
It is like anything else, you have to know how to promote.

              Agree!
We use CBProads a lot. I like that the ad descriptions are rewritten by the staff so they are based on the product not the affiiate deal. The banners are what banners are so work is saved there.

Very quick and simple for automated sites.

But without targeted traffic the service is pointless - true also of all other advertising options.

The products are all from ClickBank so any issues you have are not with respect to CBProads. On the other hand CB products sell by the boatload so somebody is able to sell products in the niches that you address at the prices the products are being sold at.

You might want to look at what is converting for you and look at your sales/promotion process.

I use(d) CBProads on some of my sites and just now re-made a new ones where I am giving it a shot again.

I do think that CBProads is indeed decent, I haven't seen an equivalent way to get Clickbank ads up. For example, those from cbengine use the original product descriptions which are not for the consumer, CBProads has good descriptions and also nice box shots and banners.

Within the last few years (I use them for a long time already) they added even more ad types, carousels etc...and also improved their store-fronts. Definitely decent.
