  • Is it a multi site license, or is there an upsale for multi-site? I didn't see it on the sales letter.

    I'd be interested to give it a try.

    Also, is there anchor text involved or is it more of a pingback type of thing?

    • Unlimited sites and more pingback type of thing... however the links are NOT pingbacks (not that pingbacks are a bad thing). It uses the contents titles and hyperlinks those

  • Then how do the rankings boost?

    If there isn't a keyword or a variation of the keyword involved, what are you ranking for in Google?

    In my own SEO efforts, I usually try and choose KWs that have a realistic variation of them that I can change a bit. ie, target keyword "Blue Widget"s. My variations may be "widgets that are blue", "widgets" etc.

      One thing to clarify is you do not NEED to add your own sites into the network, that is just a way to get even more credits. Oh and we are constantly promoting the backend like crazy too. I must have every back link 100% indexed in Google... 99% is failure in my eyes.

  • I have been an early user of this and love it. While I have followed the creators for years, I have never used their products before. Quite frankly, they were a bit expensive. This was not so I jumped in with both feet! And I don't mean free. I have paid to use their service!

    Anything that allows me to do deep linking for my posts is greatly appreciated. Then they do back links to those deep links. It is proven and has been around for a long time. The difference here is that they have created a system that allows you to automate this with a plugin.

    @Gust, not every solution will allow you to vary anchor text. It is your job to vary solutions to accomplish that. Your job is to build enough links across enough networks that it does not matter. But you are correct, varying is important, but not at the granular level of each and every service. You might miss some good ones if you think that way.

    What this does is it allows every single post on your site to be drip fed into a contextual linking system. After you setup your sites, you can use them over and over again.

    It is that simple. And I honestly don't have time for crap that wastes my time. This works. I use this in conjunction with WP Syndicator. (and yes, I used different anchor text.)..., Digi Article Blaster, and WP Social Pipes...all automated deep linking... And this is before I do my other manual and semi automated deep linking processes, using SLS with Steve at Simple Leveraging, and a bunch of other services. So guess how long it takes my posts, articles and videos to get indexed? You wouldn't believe me if I told you!!! Use everything you can find to build your business. Don't stand on one leg!!! Use multiple solutions as long as they work and work well together. It makes a huge difference.

    I was fighting for #1 position for a client for so long. I was starting to get complacent. Then I did a test with his site using Auto Traffic Buddy, once he approved the test. We hit #1. Not highly competitive - 2.4M competitive pages. But the difference made his phone ring a ton more overnight. Think he is happy? Now I feel comfortable rolling this out to my client and personal sites.

    All I know is that anything that helps me achieve goals for my clients rankings and my own goals, then I am happy. And this makes me happy. BTW, if you sign up, and you been around as long as I have or more, don't assume you know everything about their system. I am glad that I slowed down enough to watch their videos and read their instructions. I would have missed some significant things and would not have had everything configured correctly. They provide great information. And have an active forum which they participate.

  • What is the learning curve like or how long does it take to get Auto Traffic Buddy set up?

    I would love to do this but am worried that I will purchase and then not have time to devote to setting it up or not have the time to do the required learnings. It takes me a long time to learn new techniques/technologies because of limited time, and I don't want to waste my first 30 days of the subscription in learning the system or getting set up.

    Hope it is quick and easy to set up.

  • I was a beta user of auto traffic buddy and I agree with Tony and Myralove above. It's an awesome tool to add to your backlinking aresenal. It's automated deep linking and it really works.

    I have a site that I had been meaning to get back around to because I really hadn't given it all the backlinking it deserved. It was making a decent amount of sales with very little promotion on my end so it was definitely time to give it some backlink love.

    I first setup ATB on it and I then intented to run a full backlinking campaign on it. Well, low and behold I got distracted by another project and I came back to this site a few weeks later and the pages indexed along with the daily visitors had tripled. I was very pleasantly surprised. I've added it to all my sites and there has been a noticeable jump in rankings. If you really want an in depth explanation of how ATB works then check out JK (canuck1972) pdf above. It really lays out the whole process quite nicely.

    I also happened to notice inside the members area (correct me if I'm wrong JK) that with the Platinum membership you get the Auto Social Buddy plugin. Well this is one powerful little plugin. I have it and it's on all my sites. This plugin does several things

    1)auto bookmarks to about a dozen different bookmarking sites and can support randomly posting to different profiles at those sites.
    2)It auto pings your posts.
    3)Can auto post to ping.fm or pixelpipe or another similar service

    You can us both ATB and ASB on both new and old posts and it will work it's magic on every single post.

    In short, I use and love many of JK and JPs products. The two above included and a few others. These guys just flat out over deliver with the quality of their products, the unadvertised bonuses that they give you and their quality support. They are both active in the forums and their support staff is on top of things and super helpful as well.

    • I developed a system similar to this back in 2007 for private use - but not nearly as robust (it would pull snippets of content from a joomla site, randomly combine them - then make posts of 3 to 5 snippets each to random self-controlled blogs on diff class c ips, etc. linking back to the original page and the category for the page then autobookmark those posts to random bookmarking accounts). We'd also mix some regular content in.

      This is obviously much more powerful.

      The only thing I'm on the fence about is the blogs in the network - one affiliate showed an example in his review - and it was only snippets. I saw in this thread that the blogs are also supposed to get regular content and I'm wondering if if there's any attempt to control the ratio of content/snippets - the site I saw had no regular content.

  • Just to add on to what rich has said (I am a customer of Auto traffic buddy) - the videos inside, explain everything inside. I still haven't got my head around the whole process but so far, I can see how it would be helpful with anyone with multiple sites.

    • No there is no need to add a site to the network and there is no need to create a multisite

      When you join ATB you get plenty of credits to get started building your back links plus some monthly credits too, these are more than enough to get you going and to test the system for yourself

      You can add the plugin (which gets the backlinks on the ATB network) to as many of your own blogs as you like it doesn't matter whether they are money making blogs or any other kind of blog

    It's very easy to use after watching the training videos
    Really set and forget...
    BUT
    Is all what I get only 3 backlinks to every post????
    How could 3 backlinks boost my rankings???

      You have 60 days to test and let it run for 2 weeks on your site, make sure to follow all the directions with the rss and you will see the results for yourself.

    I have tried this and it works effortlessly. I was dubious to begin with but the site I tried it out on saw great results.
    I received a 98.3% increase in traffic after installing traffic buddy. In addition my site got more pages indexed in Google and improved search rankings for target keywords.
    The thing I liked best about ATB was that the extra traffic I received was targeted and resulted in a growth in my AdSense earnings on the site. Compared to my previous month without ATB, I increased AdSense earnings on my site by over 530%. This pays for my use of the software
    I expect things to keep improving and I will be using this on my other sites as well.
    There are good instructional videos and a support forum where you can see what's happening with others who are using the software.

  • As far as I know you can, I haven't tried it myself but it's something I will do once I get time because it think it gives you free credits everytime you add your own Blog.

  • Actually i don't think it's possible to add in an existing blog. It has to be new. At least that's what support told me, unless i misunderstood them.

    • In order to get extra credits on the network you can create your own wordpress multisite. I don't see how you could take an existing site and add it into the network. Ultimately I don't think you will have direct access to the multisite yourself. (Unless the system manages to place one of your blogs on it at random.)

      Right now I believe you can create as many as 3 of your own multisites to add in. Of course, they recommend private domain registration and separate hosting accounts.

      BTW they've thrown in a few more bonuses until 11-22. Traffic Travis Pro/Traffic Grab Video & MP3/Get Traffic SEO Videos from Jeff Johnson.

      It looks like these bonuses are now available in my standard account...

  • Do the links remain when and if we decide tho cancel? This can be done on how many sites per month? How many links can be generated per month?

    • From what I've read in their member forums the links will stay on the network even after an account is canceled. The lower price level lets you create up to 20 of your own miniblogs on their network. There's no limitation to the number of sites you can install the plugin though. There also doesn't seem to be a limit on how many links are generated per month, but they will all be from the same 20 sites (until the next month when you can add 2 more.) (40/10 more for the platinum - potentially more if you bring your own multisite(s) to the program.)

      By default the plugin can go through your old posts and submit one a day to the network (and you can control the range (lower limit and upper limit) of how many of your miniblogs it goes to.) I haven't seen a way to change the posting frequency for older posts, but you can manually go down the list of posts and go ahead and push them yourself.

      One note is that pages are not supported for the snippets and inbound links - only posts. Although the suggested workaround is to write a post re: your pages and let THAT be used to generate links in the network.

    On the sales page there are 2 different purchase options but no text explanation of the difference between them.

    What is the difference between the 2 levels and what sort of different success have people had with the 2 different levels?

  • The blogs in ATB aren't really high pr blogs, unlike TK blogs (which are high pr). ATB's main selling point is it's automation. Although it would be super cool if there's a service that gets you links from high pr TK type blogs and combines this with ATB's automation.

    • I love Traffic Kaboom and am very impressed with the two Jasons. However, I must say that I have installed the ATB plugin on 50 blogs and have received no noticeable traffic increases or SERP positioning on any of them. I had very high hopes for ATB but the results in my two month journey have been disappointing to say the least....

  • I don't know, but while searching for traffic kaboom, traffickaboom.net was the #1 listing (not .com) and when you go to the site, it's a weird merging of two sites. The sales page for Auto Traffic Buddy, then the sales page for traffic kaboom below it.

  • While the plugin does everything it is supposed to do, I have been using ATB for a couple months and have seen no real surge in traffic. In fact my traffic is down but I'm not sure that I can attribute that to ATB. I'm still investigating.
  • I've noticed a small boost in additional SEO traffic on some of the Blogs I've tried it on after two weeks of using ATB. However, some didn't get any boost of traffic whatsoever.

    It's a tricky thing is SEO, you can never put your finger on the exact reason why you've get increase/decrease in SEO traffic as there is so many factors to consider.

    Btw, are these Blogs in the Blog network all on different IP addresses? Didn't see it mentioned in the thread that's all.

    • I used it but stopped. There's no way to control the length of the snippets.

      Dan Thies & Leslie Rhodes recently warned about full content syndication due to Google algorithm changes.

      When I mentioned this in the forum, Rich asked if Dan Thies & Leslie Rhodes actually test.
