Michael Rasmussen's Affiliate Cash Snipers just launched.

I did post a review video of the members area some time ago but this forum does not allow me as they see as spam.

Other gurus I can choose to believe or not believe. But for Michael, he is the REAL deal. I am not saying this to promote but really from the bottom of my heart.

This is through learning his past courses like Email Promo Exposed, Mini Sites Exposed and Get More Buyers that I made my first $100 in Clickbank commissions.

But this course is primarily on physical products from Amazon and other established online shopping sites.

It consists of:

Main Product: 3-In-1 Software

A. Affiliate Cash Sniper

Allows you to copy and paste widgets into your sites for wider selection in variety for visitors.

B. Adspot Sniper
Enables you to find your competitor sites and advertise on those with Google advertising networks and owners' permission.

C. Best Sellers Sniper
Lets you know what the best selling products are right now, latest releases, movers and shakers in not just Amazon but over 20 online shopping sites.

Upsell 1: Niche Pack

Gives you all the hot selling niches in physical products so that you can save your time on niche research as everything you need is there.

Upsell 2: Profit Portals

A complete interactive e-commerce site building software tool which is highly recommended if you want to build sites easily and quickly without html confusion.

Upsell 3: Monthly Intel Reports

Gives you monthly physical niche intelligence reports on the current trends in the internet.

The main product is $47 while the upsells are $97, $197 and $67 monthly. If you choose to exit, you get to pay just $37 for main product, $67 for the first upsell, $97 for second and $47 monthly for intel reports.

I, too, will be interested to see if these Affiliate Cash Sniper sites actually make good money, especially compared to setting up your own product review sites with all the already-available good themes, plugins and niche/KW research tools. For that, we'll need real reviews from people who followed this system and report their honest earnings...which may take some time.

Speaking of taking some time, seriously, there oughta be a law against these long, drawn out videos with no ff-rewind progress-bar, forcing you to sit there through an interminable amount of hype before getting to the bottom line and displaying the price. This one clocks in at a whopping 40 minutes, with NO way to fast-forward...that's just abusive.

All that explanantion is going to be rehashed in the user's guide anyway, so please, please give us the choice to fast-forward through all that drivel, and just buy the damn thing, test it ourselves, and keep it if we like it or refund it if we don't.

I love how it starts out with, "Hi I'm Michael Rassmusen," in a voice that sure sounds like a pro announcer, not Michael; didn't know you had it in ya', Mikeyl :p.

Yeah, that's really annoying. However, you can just right click and select "view page source" and there's a link to buy it (a clickbank link).

I couldn't agree with you more Seth. I hit the page to check it out..saw the video kick in with no controls and hit the exit button then jumped over here.

A major problem with the video sales page only is the ability for an experienced marketer to look over and scan for features and benefits to see if it fits our biz model. If I can't do that I don't have the time and I"m not interested at any price.

Michael Rasmussen is awesome and definitely going to pick this up. Here is a quick tip to get through those long ass sales video without a fast forward option.

Watch the video salespage on a iPhone or iPad if you have one. You can fast forward and rewind videos. I do this all the time when videos don't have a fast forward option. Most videos nowadays are compatible on those devices.

It was the most boring and long winded video I have ever had the displeasure of watching. He should have made it much shorter, or given the option of fast forward.

I didn't listen to the whole thing either, I just clicked out to find a discount, but after reading these remarks I will buy it in the near future. I already effectively marketing Amazon with videos but I need to find out what is trending hot and cold. Why bother if no one is buying. I wish I had made a diamond video before Valentine's Day.

          Hi Seth,

I agree. I found it quite annoying.............just get to the point.

Personally, I bought the product and I found it to be sub-standard.

Maybe it is me but I am spoiled by Chris Farrell and Perry Marshall
who explain things in a way I can understand,

Perhaps I am not as knowledgeable as many of you guys although
I did have a website selling Stun Guns, Pepper Spray, etc for 4 years.
I did not make money, however. And I am new to Affiliate Marketing.

Also, the "free" website included in the Rasmussen package was total
garbage, if you ask me.

Thanks for the detail, appreciated. I'd love to see an example of one of these widgets if you have a demo up and running?

I use various plug-ins for this type of job, include Phpbay and Phpzon, so I'd be interested if this brings anything new to the table.

I guess its probably in the video but I don't have 40 mins to spare to watch it all ;-)

This is the time of year when most seem to concentrate on being productive. Who has 40 minutes to spare, or an unknown amount of time to just waste? The best thing to do while the video begins is head over here on another tab while the video plays.

As mentioned in the video, Amazon and all the major sites already have this mechanism on their websites. Regardless of that, the Amazon cookie is good for 24 hours only, if the customer doesn't buy then, the affiliate has to loop back to the beginning of the traffic flow and find a new prospect.

I also have a question about the structure of the domain names ACS would work best on. How does Michael instruct this be structured?

Since ACS is web based and has a members area, will all my ideas and research be collected and become noteworthy to other members within the software/members area. Have you ever searched a domain name, find it available, and then find it suddenly registered 7 minutes later.

I can already go to Google Trends and see the same graphs for "toasters' or any other product but only Google and I know that I checked, so I can't really see a huge benefit of the feature.

      Just some thoughts.

You can check out Automatic Espresso Machine Review.

Unlike other products where I only need main product, I intend to buy all the upsells and I highly recommend you do the same if you want to succeed online with physical products.

Though I have a website building software, I need another one on just physical products since the one I already have is focused mainly on digital.

For that Amazon affiliate site example, may I ask if the contents are self written contents of the product or auto generated scrap contents ?

I use PLR articles as well as those from Ezines, Articles Base and Go and rewrite into my own words.

Unless you know a lot about that topic, you will be taking a very long time if you are to write entirely from scratch.

Call it copy if you want. But isn't that what most marketers do when researching online?

This doesn't look anything like the widgets in the product.

I bought the product and there isn't anything in there that looks like the site you linked.

Am I missing something in this software that sets things up like that?

At least it's a transparent offer, as opposed to blind. My thing is that
he mentions the obvious spike in certain merchandise depending on
the time of year. But the holidays have passed. So this may not be
    profitable until later this year.

In your browser, select 'Duplicate Tab' and you can let the video run in one tab while testing stuff like hitting the 'back' or 'exit' buttons in the other tab. AND...any time you get to an OTO page, you can hover over the 'No thanks, I'll pass on this offer...' link and select 'open link in new tab,' and you'll be able to see what you bought while still leaving the OTO page open in case you get inspired to buy it later.

Yes, the review copy Michael gave me is just for demo purposes with 2 weeks expiry. So the widget simply disappear when the software expired.

        Guys,

If you truly want to make 2012 your best ever year and make a lot of money online, go and grab the full version.

And I mean EVERYTHING including upsells.

Give yourself 6 months to go through and just focus on building affiliate cash sniper sites without being distracted and buying any other course. That is what I intend to do and I think you should do the same.

Look at it this way. If these sites can potentially make you $2K, $5K or even $10K 1 year from now, what are the total costs of $200-300 to you? If you have been buying course after course but without success, you are spending the same amount or more subsconciously.

Everything you ever needed is there. From market / niche research, building sites to getting targeted traffic. I am not saying as sales pitch. Even if I wanted, I no longer am allowed to here.

May consider unsubscribing all other emails except Michael Rasmussen and only those gurus he recommended. Am really sick and tired of all the Clickbank make millions phony screenshots and 1-3 click software. For the first time, Affiliate Cash Snipers offer a fresh new perspective away from Clickbank.

Believe me, Michael IS the REAL deal. I said that before and I will say it again. But even with best trainer and system, you need to take action.

Before I go whole hog like you say, Amuro, i'd like to see a demo of the software and a site that was produced by the software. So i'll wait. Maybe you could show us those things since you're a supporter of the software.

    Hey,

I'm just like many of you and hate these long sales pitch no mater how good the product is. Good common sense is just like many of the new products on here. If it's that good, just get to the details and show us how it works.

I'm getting to the point just like banner advertising numbness and I will just ignore and delete. Give me your message upfront and sell. I can't stand long sales pitches.

For those that want to speed this up can download a great Firefox Add-on called Download Helper. Watch the help video after adding on and you can download just about every flash video even from membership sites.

You can then fast forward using whatever software you use to view videos on your computer.

By the way Mike does offer great products and may buy this one as another tool for a good price without the upsells. This product obviously won't make the money by itself but will help. You still need a informative page with good traffic.

I have verified with Michael himself on this. If you still don't understand, maybe you should contact his support desk first before buying.

        Amuro,

Here's a reply direct from Mike Mograbi of Affiliate Cash Snipers regarding the exit discounts. I removed the affiliate cash snipers link in the signature to comply with WF rules:

There is only one discount offer. The one you purchased. $37 instead of $47.

All the rest are not discounts. They are downsells, offering LESS than the main offer.

It would be crazy to offer the same stuff for $197 and $97. The $97 does not have any of the 15 niche shopping sites for example.

I hope this clarifies the situation.

        Best Regards.

              Hi Mike,

I am thinking here and correct me if I am wrong.....should the unlikely happen that your servers get taken down for whatever reason, then potentially hundreds or thousands of affiliates who use ACS plugin could lose this functionalty on their sites. Also what if some of the sites are sold/flipped etc, would the new owners have to sign up for a licence to continue to use the plugin? I am just thinking of the worst case scenario here, being a cautious veteran! Thanks.

                Hey P!

If Google servers go down, all the AdSense goes down. Sure.

Are you asking servers taken down intentionally or unintentionally?

                former, they won't be.
                latter, we restore them.

Flipped site: simply, the person who purchased ACS owns ACS ads.

Every time i have been to the members area there is a message to say that they that they are updating ..What? continually ? Support is extremely slow But they are probably swamped with complaints . if M Rasmussen is such a great guy why doesnt he get his act together before he sells a product that clearly isnt yet working properly to unsuspecting customers? is he and people like him really doing that well if they have to rush their offers out like this? You are not the only one facing problems. There are thousands of people facing such problems all over the world.

It takes time for him and the support team to address them accordingly.

This product has been delayed for 2 months because Michael is worried such a problem might arise.

Michael IS a great marketer. It is his courses that helped me make my first dollar online. If not for him, I will be totally lost online like most internet newbies.

That is also another reason why I don't buy immediately. I usually buy 1-2 weeks after launch. I rather go slow and put up a solid review rather than go fast and put up a blind sales review.

Moreover when the product is launched, it is not possible for creator and support team to address your problem immediately especially when there are thousands of people with the same problem all over the world.

I suppose you are a complete newbie who is not used to using software tools, am I right?

Give yourself and them 2-3 days break. Once you cooled down, contact them again. I am sure they'll answer you.

This product was scheduled for release back in November 2011, but for some reason got delayed so apparently there were some bugs being fixed.

I am an XSitePro user and XSP has an excellent built in Amazon widget which basically does just about everything that all of these Wordpress add on plugins claim to do. Paul Smithson, the developer of XSP suggested that using Mike R's product would work great with XSP, and I consider his endorsement to be top notch.

I was hoping to buy this weekend. I'm surprised to find the negative reviews here. Hopefully Mike R. will iron out some of these problems. I'll check back later in search of some positive news.

How long have you been using XSite Pro?

Ironically I just bought it last week. The only disappointment is that it does not have squeeze pages built into.

Having said that, I have been pondering whether or not to buy Michael's upsells Affiliate Sniper Portals. Building review sites for info products is one thing while building review sites for physical products is another.

The great thing about this forum is that the big marketers release their WSO's here and you get some sort of feedback about the product from other buyers and the products creator.
I purchased affiliate cash snipers for $37 and am relatively pleased with what I've got but I have a lot of unanswered questions that I haven't had any reply from after submitting a ticket a couple of days ago.

I'm interested in the up sell for the affiliate sniper portals as well but the information I have on the product is far to sketchy to risk it.

We purchased this and it is not working, period. I really wish they would have had it working properly before they began selling it. It doesn't even keep our affiliate link in it. Some of the product categories don't work at all. I bought it because if they do get it working properly, it will be a great addition to our already existing website. They are also very slow at responding in support. Still no answer 24 hours later. And yes, I understand that they have thousands of support tickets to respond to, however it seems to be a problem of their own making by releasing something that is just not ready. I wish them the best, but they will need to get their act together soon or else the refund requests will start to roll in.

Can someone please point me to a working demo site, or a site with working ACS plugin? I've tried amuro's coffee maker page, but it did not work, did not return any results.

Is this product for real? Very few comments here about something that was meant to be so revolutionary. Mostly about lack of support.

OK, here is another question I would like to ask, why does ACS have to be hosted on a server owned or controlled by the creators of this product?
So website visitors clicking on the plugin are sent to Amazon pages via the ACS server, am I correct?

This is just a speculation on my part but does it mean that users of the ACS virtually hand over their traffic to a third party who can monitor, analyze and use the results at will? Is it not a bit like using Google Analytics on your affiliate sites?

When I say Michael Rasmussen is the REAL deal, I seriously meant it.

Although I do buy other courses and software, his first 2 FREE courses - Email Promo and Mini Sites Exposed are the ones that made me money. You may or may not agree with me here but having said for the 3rd time, I rest my case.

When a product is launched and opened to the public, there will be tens and thousands of people buying it. And if the support team is not big enough to handle millions of enquiries, there is bound to be delay and problems.

Now I began to understand why some gurus charged the software at USD$997 or more and limit to just 10-15 users. Just watched Bill McRea's Hyperpress webinar recommended by Dan Brock. Same concept applies to Greg Jacobs when he launched WP Mage.

It's a pity Dan Brock did not promote Affiliate Cash Snipers. I read a lot of positive feedback about him on this forum that he really made a killing just on Amazon.

Although I know Mike is a good guy, this is a POORLY PLANNED launch with too many problems. I should have just waited to hear everyone's responses before purchasing this product. Hi all =)

I don't think I've ever left a post in the product review area here, but this thread caught my attention....and I have answers to a lot of the questions being asked - so here I am.

For the record, I actually bought this product (ie, not a review copy or anything like that) - and I am also USING this product.

As of this moment, I did NOT buy any of the upsells. The opportunity to get any of the upsells is always there in the members area, so don't feel pressured - especially when you're not totally sure what you're getting from the main product anyway...lol!

Like many of you have already mentioned, I also can't stand video-only sales pages and even more so when the videos are that long.

However, for some that are totally new to selling physical products online, the video was very informational. But I was there to see what it was, what it does, and how to use it.

In other words, please allow me to scan so I can see if it fits in with my businesses model. Don't force me to watch a 40 minute video, ya know <grin>

OK- let me tell you what the main product is - and is not.

Also, I am going to use the word "widget" when talking about it. I am NOT talking about WordPress widgets - just using that word because it's the best word I can think of on only one cup of coffee to explain it. =)

In short, the main product creates product comparison "widgets", gives you the code which you then copy/paste onto your web pages (both static HTML and WordPress pages work for me).

They are very easy to make...really, really easy.

I do a lot of Amazon promotions so this fits in really nicely for me.

Say I had a web page reviewing Dutch Ovens from Amazon. To add to the interactivity on my page, I will add one of these comparison widgets.

I log into the members area and then start making the widget (I walk thru the following steps in my video).

Inside the members area, you drill down the Amazon category your product is in. For my example, I'd click Kitchen>>>Cookware>>>Dutch Ovens.... then select Dutch Ovens.

The next step allows you to "Dress Up" the widget. Add an image (click and pick one - you don't need your own)...add links to Best Selling, New Products, etc if you want, change the header text of the widget, etc.

All those options are really simple to use.

Once you like how your widget looks, simply click "get code" - copy the code and paste it onto your web page.

The widget allows customers to find exactly what they are looking for. They can isolate by color, material, price range, new or used, discounts available, etc etc. There is an example widget on my video review page if you want to see for yourself and play with it.

When I first signed up, there were problems with the software and site. Hey, it happens. Even the best of planning before a launch can't protect you from those things happening. Everything is fine now.

I'd like to see more Amazon categories and sub-categories added. There are some things I promote that I can't seem to drill down and isolate when creating my widget.

I'd also like to see options to change more about the LOOK of the widget (sizes, colors, etc) as well as add my own image. But this is the first release of the software and Michael has said they will be improving it and adding new features over time.

I'd also like the option to add more than one Amazon ID. I like to track where my sales come from and with only one Amazon ID just for my widgets, all I really know is that my widgets made a sale somewhere. Not really helpful when you'd like to track, scale, and improve.

One *really important* thing - make SURE you add your affiliate ids FIRST and always test your widgets to be sure YOUR id is being passed and you're being cookied. When I was learning how to use this, I THOUGHT I added my id, but it didn't "take" the first time. I noticed as soon as I clicked through a new widget and didn't see my Amazon ID in the url.

So be sure to do that and to test it before setting it out there in the wild.

    What it is NOT....

This product does not make websites, generate traffic, or anything like that. Basically, it makes an interactive tool to put on your review pages. You still have to do the work part (sorry...lol).

All in all, I really like this as is (tho would like it better with the ideas/suggestions I made above). It's very easy to use and put on your web pages and provides for an "interactive" experience for your readers to help them isolate which "thing" they want to

      Hey Guys,

For all of you expressing dissatisfaction with sales videos that have no fast forward and rewind function, there's a tool I use that I found very helpful to get through them quicker.

It's called "My Speed" from Enounce. Seriously one of the best inventions ever.

Take Control of Your Time With MySpeed - Enounce (no affiliate link)

It allows you to watch videos as fast as 3x. Although 3x is not very easy to follow, you'll find 1.8 - 2x as the perfect speed.

So it's not the best solution (you can also rip the video down with a browser), but u can at least cut your listening/viewing time in half.

I watch content videos in 1.8 and find it much more enjoyable than 1.0.

In fact 1.0 is sluggish to me now.

      Hope this helps

I purchased ACS the other day and conceptually it is a well thought out, super idea for a product. I agree with what Jennifer has to say about it as well.

I've created some java based widgets and they are EXTREMELY easy, but there are some glitches in getting it to work right. For instance, on Amazon I wanted a widget for Watches. In the brands drop down menu, the wrong brands were listed. These companies don't make watches. So I am going to take a few days and design a cool html template with which to insert these widgets so I can pump out unique, quality pages quickly. Hopefully it'll give Michael time to work out some kinks.

I still think this is an awesome idea but I think they need a little longer to get it to function right. I am glad I purchased though. I will be purchasing the profit portals as well. I submitted a support ticket with some important questions about them (that I didn't see answered in the video) several days ago and am still awaiting a reply before I purchase. I want to know, for instance, if I can add textual content to each page to make my portals different than everyone else.

    Jeff

PS: if you do purchase and want the 'exit page' discounts, use internet explorer. Firefox doesn't seem to work right and just closes the tab. No discount for you.

Thanks, Jason I didn't know about that tool for videos. Usually when presented with a video I *have* to watch to even get to a "buy now" button, I just leave....lol!

Tiff, glad you got it straightened out. I had a little glitch the first time I created a widget, but after re-entering my affiliate id, all has been fine ever since.

@Jeff - I agree, there is room for enhancement with this product, but for $37, it's pretty awesome as is. Not perfect, of course. I can totally see Michael adding some more options and categories and then raising the price. If this happens, I'll be VERY glad I got a hold of this tool NOW...lol!

btw, did anyone get the niche portal sites? I'm also curious as to how much flexibility we have with these pages since I am NOT a fan of everyone having web pages that all look the same.

Also, for anyone who does have the portal sites upsell, is the only option via FTP? I'd much rather a copy/paste option so I can dress them up to match my sites, add content, and all that stuff. Also, how are they much different than a traditional a-store option from Amazon?

      Thanks all!

Just wanted to post a quick review of Affiliate Cash Snipers. I have bought products from Mike before and have never been disappointed. But I have to agree with some of the Warriors here - you need to make sure a product works before launching it.

I bought the application and was able to generate the script without too much of an issue - there were some glitches at first but these seemed to have been worked out. I also bought the upsells which are also functioning properly except for the Profit Portals upgrade which is a theme plugin for WordPress. I get an error generated whenever I try to install it, basically making it useless.

So until they work the bugs out, I will simply put up a traditional review site and use the script generated by the product.

All in all, I do believe that this will end up being a good investment for 2012. The only thing that does frustrate me is the lack of communication from the support desk. Hopefully, Mike and his team will get that sorted out.

What I am interested in here is..... does the 'widget' only link to Amazon? It seemed to me in the video that there are many other companies offering physical products through affiliates... and that the 'widget' would give our customers the opportunity to buy from other companies besides Amazon. Can anyone clarify for me whether it is Amazon only or more?

I would like to know also before I purchase. I know it has some issues but I know it will get fixed in time.

MSM7000 can you tell us how this works or someone who purchased already. I suppose you need to sign up as an affiliate for each company like Wal-Mart and then put the id # in. Or do you have to create a widget for each vendor?

      Thanks!

The "widget" allows you to link to many more affiliate sites than just Amazon. If you purchase the upsell, you can link to CJ, Partners Network, Linkshare, etc - which opens up a bunch of options for you.

I've been testing this - and I have to say, I am very happy with the result. I have just got the sites up but will post some stats once I start to generate some traffic.

      Cheers!

              Hey guys

We were initially going to launch this just with Amazon.

Why? Simply Amazon has more than 60% of the entire mass merchant market share.

Then we decided to add top ones like Walmart and others as additional sites, as extras, as "bonuses".

Personally, now I think it should have been Amazon all the way. (and maybe only after purchase offer the others to whoever is interested)

              Why?

Simply for two reasons. Reason #1 given above.

Reason #2: because not everybody is getting accepted by ALL / each and every single additional retail web site.

My advice is focus on Amazon. The value of the software is in the largest retail web site - the primary site of ACS: Amazon.

              Mike M.

P.S. Having all the retail web sites is going to be important when there is a price comparison feature. That's when it's not enough to have just Amazon.

I would be happy with Amazon alone except Amazon is not working. I want to drill down to Leather Jackets and I only get the clothing category let alone the one for jackets and of course not leather jackets, suede, denim or anything else.

                  Hey,

Ok, I got a quick reply from Matt for now:

ACS does drill down Amazon to a lot more than Clothing. Here's how:

He can keep clicking on categories titles and he will get more refined sub-categories for his case.

The left side not "[Select Category]". [Select Category] is when you want to... select that category not drill down further.

So he should not stop at "Clothing" category.

Truth is, you're not the only one who is getting mixed up by this and thinking you can't drill down further. We'll add explanation note there to clear this.

                  --- --- ---

Right now, you browse and find the category, sub-category you want.

Adding the "search" feature will enable you to type: "Leather Jackets" and immediately get to it.

I've never seen so much confusing information about a product launch.

What you're saying is you can only link to Amazon with the original product, and to link to CJ, Linkshare etc. you need the upsell?

        Is that right?

Thanks ematrix2. I've found on some major launches that many times there
are serious glitches or issues: sometimes the product doesn't even exist at all,
that it's better to wait a couple of days for tech issues to be addressed & fixed.

If these are what the widgets are like, I don't like them. Why not just have a search form??

You can't find a specific product with those widgets. So you get to amazon on a page that is very generalized.

So at least in these examples, I don't get why not just put up amazon's affiliate tools?

I just tried out the widget on your two example sites.

On the iphone one it crashed.

On the Espresso machine one I asked it for black brevilles between $50 and $100 with a 25% + discount. It said there would be 10 results, but when the Amazon page opened, not one of them was an espresso machine and only one of the 10 items was black and four were outside of the specified price range.

My browser also reported script errors on the page.

I like the idea, and I understand that this is limited by the way Amazon categorize their inventory, but that one example leads me to think that this is not quite ready yet.

Only the iPhone one completely crashed - ie the browser closed down.

On the espresso site I got a scripting error alert box, after I closed it I was redirected to the Amazon page correctly.

          I was using IE8.

Okay i got the issue I had worked out so I deleted my former questions. Here's my review:

    1. HATED the freaking sales system. I sat through the ENTIRE sales video so I could inform my list about it and thank God there weren't razors nearby or I'd have been a goner. Thing was at least 30 mins - 1 hour long.

    2. HATED the upsells afterwards. Yeah, I'm an upsell hater. When a marketer hasn't proven themselves with me with a solid product FIRST, I don't want them shoving anything else down my throat - and after watching a long ass video and then having to go through several pages of upsells put me in a straight jacket. Upsell me later when I'm a loyal fan!

    ...but I digress.

    3. LOVED the idea of the product. I like the interactivity of the software and I want to increase my Amazon sales even more so I was excited about it.

    4. I won't use the other two items - the ad sniper or bestsellers. useless to me but the original product was worth the pricetag.

    5. I need size options. On my 3 column theme, it has to be fixed with width being smaller and that screws up the look of it.

    6. Would be nice if we could color match it to our sites.

    7. I have a question - Someone mentioned this is an iframe - is that correct? Because iframes are against TOS for Amazon Associates and I know someone who got their account shut down for it. So now I worry about it and just want clarification.

I'm really glad you asked this question. It forced me to take a look at the underlying code that powers this script. I don't see any iframes in either of Amuro's sites above. Here's the code it does create:

      HTML Code:
      <div class="textwidget"><script type="text/javascript"> <!-- affiliatecashsniper_sniper_id = 0;affiliatecashsniper_width =  200;affiliatecashsniper_height = 450;affiliatecashsniper_uid =  "36";affiliatecashsniper_id = "284507";affiliatecashsniper_ssid =  1;affiliatecashsniper_img = "";affiliatecashsniper_img_r =  1;affiliatecashsniper_wiz = "0";affiliatecashsniper_rc =  "1";affiliatecashsniper_htxt = "";affiliatecashsniper_logo =  "0";affiliatecashsniper_splinks = "0"; //--> </script> <script language="javascript" src="http://www.affiliatecashsnipers.com/protected/acs/public/sniper-generator/code/" type="text/javascript"></script></div>
BUT that "call-home-to-the-mothership" code sorta-kinda bothers me.

What do I mean? If you look near the end of the the javascript printed above, you'll see it's actually being called from Michael's personal website:

      Code:
      http://www.affiliatecashsnipers.com/protected/acs/public/sniper-generator/code/
Here's why you should worry about this...
      • If Michael's site goes down...so does every ACS-enabled site on the Internet.
      • If someone on Michael's team decides to swap out your Amazon ID for his Amazon ID for a few hours...well..you see where I'm going with that, right? I'm not implying anyone will...after all, Michael is a respected marketer...but what if some hackers jump on his site and swap the ID's for a few days?
      • The code is easy to identify on a Google crawl due to it's redundant use of 'affiliatecashsniper' in nearly every variable. If one day Google decides that any site carrying the ACS code is a thin affiliate site, you can expect to be part of a mass banning. That's a big "if" by the way (but not too crazy for Google's behavior these days).
      • I suspect AdBlock, the Firefox and Chrome plugin that blocks ads and is downloaded several million times per week, will blacklist that code rather quickly. I give it 3-6 months.
      The final, big question:
How can Michael power all these affiliate sites while only charging a one time fee of $37-$47 for a plugin? (After affiliate payouts it's closer to $17-$23) This type of hosted infrastructure is difficult to maintain without a monthly membership fee. And backend sales can only fund the programmers for so long. Does he plan to move to continuity after the initial launch? I don't know the answer to that one. Until I do, I'm watching from the stands.

There's a lot more to lose than $37-$47 here. If you build a business that generates good revenue from this plugin, you can wake up one day with any of the scenarios mentioned above.

Yes, these are to be added to an existing site. They will give the visitor to your site another option of going to the affiliate site via your link. Amuro (earlier post) was kind enough to list a couple of his sites where he has placed an Amazon sniper on each site. They are in the right column. Take a look at them and that should give you a good idea of how they work.

    Hi Mike.

Appreciate the update. Here are my questions regarding the profit portals (to add to your list):

Can I add different textual content (like buyer tips or an article) on each individual specific portal category/subcategory page to make it unique from everyone else's portal? Search engines won't like 1000's of duplicate portals.

Can I have multiple retailers on one profit portal (like amazon, walmart and target on one portal) or is it limited to one retailer at a time?

Can I do a broad based portal or will I need to limit it to a specific category or topic?

Will this be a standalone html/java code or a wordpress plugin?

Thanks. Awesome products. Looking forward to using them all.
    Jeff

I made a widget targeting the Amazon Kindle. I understand you target all ereaders with this widget.

        1. Select Brand appears - if my site was general for all ereaders then this would be no problem but my site is specific for the Kindle so I would delete this option.

        2. Select Certifications - I would eliminate this option because it is not needed.

        3. Select Seller - I would eliminate this because I was not accepted by some retailers and do not want to give away my leads to them so I would eliminate this option.

We are not given the option of selecting the filters we want for any given website.

        Thanks,

        Wayne

Did anyone purchase the upsell Niche Pack with 16 additional shopping sites? I purchased them but they aren't showing in my Affiliate Snipers section of my membership.

Just wondering if they aren't there because the 16 additional snipers possibly aren't finished and uploaded to the site yet or if it was just a mistake and they weren't added after my purchase.

    Any feedback is much appreciated

    Hey Mike.

I appreciate you stopping by here every so often. I've been waiting impatiently to purchase the profit portals upsell. I've had a support ticket outstanding since 1/26. As a web developer, I'd like to see a working demo of one of these portals or even simply a features list so I know what customizations I can make to it (so it doesn't look exactly like 1,000 other profit portals that will eventually invade Google results and be penalized for duplicate content). For instance, can I add an article or unique content to each individual category/subcategory page mixed in to the product listings?

Don't worry. We're not removing the product or "raising the price". No scare tactics

My ticket # is': ZFN-294226. I just want to know more about the portals from a web developer standpoint rather than a sales video. How can I make them my own, so to speak?

On the Cash Sniper Widgets, I love them. The only perplexing thing is in what's listed in some of the drop downs (or left out). For instance, if you click Amazon -> Watches, you'll notice under brands that Maxell and Sony are listed (I'm guessing as battery makers?), but not Casio, Timex or Armitron which do appear on Amazon's corresponding page.

Here's a quick reply from Matt the developer:

          1. We are displaying the top Brands as they are selected by Amazon.com in their left filters menu.

You can check the Watches page on Amazon here. And you will find we have the same displayed brands.

          Amazon.com: watches: Watches

          2. That's one of the features we're working on: adding all other brands to all categories.

I think the product is a great idea but for now I've taken the widgets of my site.
The searchable information on the widgets leave a lot to be desired and when you click through to Amazon you don't actually get the search results you wanted.

and here is the support ticket answer to a question I had about cloaking links

"Your affiliate Id will not be included in sniper code. The sniper code is related to design of sniper only. When you put the code on your website to get started, the shppers will buy the products through your sniper will get an affiliate commission. It is the back-end process. Please be sure about it. "

Hopefully they'll iron out the problems soon, because I do think that it has a lot of potential

[I just got an email from Michael Rassmussen hawking another product. How greedy can you get. Wouldn't you think he would try and make the customers happy from Affiliate Cash Snipers before selling them something else.]

You'd be happy to know the following:

[Wouldn't you think he would try and make the customers happy from Affiliate Cash Snipers]

I respect the WF rules, so I’m afraid I cannot provide a detailed list of what Michael Rasmussen and I have been doing, are doing and will be doing to make the customers happy. All I can say is, Yes you are absolutely right, (he is) and he will. The coming 4-6 weeks will reveal everything and prove that. You can PM for all the details if you like.

I’m sure you know Michael Rasmussen. He didn't start internet marketing yesterday. He is known and respected as a man of integrity and honesty. Personally, I've never partnered with him. This is the first time, and honestly he is (one of the very few) best partners I've ever had the pleasure of teaming up with.

      In all fairness to Michael:

It's not out of greed that he promoted that product, but out of prior commitment.

Also, it's (very) important to mention that when I asked Michael about this, he told me he intentionally excluded all buyers/customers of Affiliate Cash Snipers from the mail out because he wanted the customers to focus on ACS, and didn’t want to distract them with anything new.

I hope this clarifies the picture for you.

No, I don't know Michael Rasmussen at all. By the way of introduction I am a newbie here. I wanted to buy the ACS until I read all the comments in this thread. It is very nice that he has a few eager advocates speaking up on his behalf, but to start with I don't understand his marketing strategy, who is the ACS's target audience? People who know him?

What is the current state of the ACS? The updates should be coming directly from him and not from anyone else. "Being too busy" is a lame excuse that suggests a certain amount of disregard for his existing and potential customers.

Just moments ago I received two emails, the first on from someone calling himself "your friend Paul" who tried to convince me that I should purchase this new best thing since the sliced bread was invented, namely the ACS. The affiliates still pushing faulty and/or underdeveloped product?

The second email from the man himself, MR who offered me something called "Ruthless-Income". (By the way who comes up with these dumb names?). And yes, I have received that first email from Michael promoting something else.

Don't take me wrong, I will buy from Michael or anyone else on this forum, but I need to see that the product does what it is supposed to do. I also need to see that the author or owner of said product puts his words where his mouth is and shows commitment to his product and his customers.

Thank you for the link, launch3.

It looks OK on the page if somewhat overwhelming. Can it be made smaller? My impression is that it becomes a focal point of the page, it takes over your homepage, even though you have balanced it with the large bullet point list to the left.

Good or bad, I don't know but it seems that this plugin is like a "distributed" Amazon search engine. It "pushes" all of your content into the background. It actually invites your visitors to navigate away from your website. Does it mean that you do not really need a product at all, be it your own or affiliate? Will you get a commission from any sale made via this plugin? What about your content, does it move you attention away from the quality of your content? Does it have implications on your marketing strategy and SIO?

Does it come with any analytical facilities? Will your regular web analytics package provide all the usage statistics? I have to ask this, this is your traffic, generated by your efforts in your time. How much control do you have over it and who sees it?

    Hi Chrispi.

Yes, you can make it smaller (at least the width). For marketing purposes, I do want it to be the focal point of the page. My content is all well and good, but I need for the visitor to use the sniper and buy something. The more helpful the content though, the more apt the visitor will try the sniper. It opens a new browser tab upon clicking 'FIND' so the visitor can always come back to my page. Yes, I do get affiliate commission for any sales made via this sniper. My marketing strategy is the same as any landing page I've ever used... get the visitor to take action and hopefully make a purchase. I'm not aware of any analytics provided for usage. Worst case, I'll tally unique page views vs. purchases.

It is a plugin so to speak. However, I have the option to do a super targeted "sniper" for Walmart, Target, eBay, etc... based on the content on my page.

Don't take me wrong, I actually like this tool. Do you see in your data that ACS has improved your conversion rates and by how much?

Just wandering, if visitors head straight into the plugin and leave your page, does it inflate your bounce rate?

    Hello all
I've read all reviews and I've still got ?? Using Amuros coffee site When you leave it and go to Amazon and then leave the original site, and you start off looking at Krups coffee makers, then wander over to Hamilton Beach and buy a H/B coffee maker, do you still get a commission???
Also do I in put all this info myself, or does ACS somehow now what niche I am marketing? Or do I just let ACS know the niche I have selected and ACS takes it from there?
Can I edit the selections? In Amuros example you also pull-up cookware, cutlery,
    Toaster ovens...etc?
When I go to a site looking for coffee-makers that is what I want to see, not everything else in the kitchen...including the sink! (just kiddin')

    Hi Jeff,

You obviously believe that this (rocky start) product has potential... and I do too.

However, it seems to me that you have more skills than I do and it seems to me that you've been able to work with what is there now to get something going. I'm planning on buying this product at some point (hopefully after most or all of the bugs are gone). I'll need it to be fully functioning better than what I read from a lot of people.

I'm concerned that if I wait too long that he'll pull off the market and only give functioning version to those who have already bought... and I'm concerned that if I buy now and he can't/won't improve it, I'll get stuck with an incomplete system that I can't fix.

I don't know the guy, but you seem to know him. My question to you is, what advice can you give to me?

    Hey Doc.

I purchased the main ACS product the day after it launched. I never do that. I usually sit and wait patiently to see if the product has legs and ponder how I can implement it into my business. I didn't take any of the upsells primarily because Internet Explorer went kaput in the middle of it. However, once I logged into the members area I saw all of them listed (and yes they are still there for purchase anytime). Probably better that way since it gave me time to start playing with the ACS widgets without getting distracted. Plus, I had some questions regarding the profit portals. I will be purchasing the portals next since I really like the potential of them too.

I am working on 10 projects at once and rebooting my 15 year old internet business from scratch. I think these snipers are a great fit for what I am doing (and good timing too).

My advice is to grab the main product and start playing with it. It's really simple to insert into a webpage and by the time you get the hang of it, whatever kinks are remaining will be worked out. It already works now. Spend your time tweaking what you want a great sniper page to look like, test, test, test and duplicate them like mad.

I haven't really had the opportunity to go through the product in detail (purchased the basic package $37 plus the portal package upsell $197 and niche upsell $97 right before starting a new career in govt. contracting that requires me to be away from anything tech during work hours such as PCs for security reasons. In the little time I've had to look it over, the sample sites I am seeing are rather bland and the menus with the drop down feratures are ALWAYS of the same color (light blue with white background) and design. Can the menus with the drop down features be optimized with different colors and designs so that they don't all look the same like "me too" sites? I'm thinking of pulling the plug on the upgrades on this package and just keeping the basic system for $37.

I agree with all warriors complaining about long videos with no forwarding, stop, etc. Who has time to spend for them? To me are just childish, ridiculous, poor judgement.
I pass on all of them. Sorry Mike R, how come a great guy like you can do such a mistake?

Now I'm getting excited! This product definitely has potential which is why I didn't get a refund. The new version should be where potential meets proper execution! Looking foward to it!

      Hi Mike,

I was told about ACS since before the launch, though I never bought it. I´d like to, but after all I see here, I´m not getting it until the new and corrected version is launched. I´d like to know if there is any approximate date for this, if you can´t say it in the forum please PM me.

Questions: 1) Got a little bit confused regarding the price, is it a one time payment or monthly payment. 2) May this be used in a Squidoo Lens?

Comment: I appreciate all your support in here, but say whatever you want, that Michael Rasmussen must be an arrogant and negligent guy for not showing up ONE SINGLE TIME here with all what´s been said about the product, and also the poor customer support feedback I´ve read in here, with tickets not answered for 14 days etc. An apology from him would be appreciated, I´ve seen marketers apologize before for things like this in the past, no big deal. You say he has always been a correct guy, well people can change.

Otherwise I see this product has a lot of potential once it gets corrected and I will definitely buy it once the new version is released. Expecting that to happen soon.

      Cheers.
