Clickbank Alternatives? ...help

Hi Warriors,

What Digital product affiliate networks are like Clickbank? And which do you recommend?

I've been looking at a few different ones and can't find one that pays affiliates for you and handles order inquiries (like returns) like Clickbank does? Do you all know of one that is similar to Clickbank that you'd recommend?

I'm currently considering:

o PayDotCom
o click2sell.eu
o affiliate-wire.com
o Digiresults
o jvzoo
o and Plimus

Do you all have experience with these? Which one is easiest to use? How hard is it to do refunds and pay affiliates (with like PayDotCom) ... and are all of these networks like that now where you have to pay affiliates from your paypal account and issue your own refunds?

Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

            What are you selling?

The answer may or may not dictate what options you have.

PayDotCom is the largest "all digital" alternative to CB. I sold items there once. It was good. It wasn't clickbank, but it was good. Also, PayDotCom does paypal.

Thanks, how do refunds and paying affiliates work? Is it hard to maintain?

The product owner does this on his own through his account. It all depends on the product owner. Nothing like ClickBank at all. And to mention that ClickBank accepts PayPal as well.

Not even close to the largest alternative. Its also NOT an alternative since you use YOUR PayPal account.

You are right, ClickBank is brilliant, but it is also prudent not to put all your eggs in one basket. If ClickBank gets sued, shuts down, bans you etc etc then you are screwed.

I had a look at PayDotCom. It doesn't have anywhere near the number of products that ClickBank has, but it still has a fair selection. Also, since they pay over PayPal then you get your money as you earn - no waiting for cheques or payment schedules.

From the perspective of attracting serious affiliates, there's one very major factor involved, here: you need to use an affiliate network in which the affiliates are paid directly by the network rather than being dependent on the vendor for payment.

There are some of each on your list above.

So, it'll help you to be aware of two things ...

    (i) If you use (for example) PayDotCom, there may be a vast pool of professional affiliates who won't even be willing to look at your product at all (because affiliates there are dependent on the vendor for payment, which is an additional business problem/risk many of us feel we just don't need!), and ...

(ii) As discussed here in many threads, if you're using ClickBank to sell your product, you'll probably want to make sure that the product has no other detectable sales page anywhere else, where an affiliate's ClickBank cookie won't protect him/her when s/he generates customers who (like most) don't buy at their first visit to the sales page, and might later buy through another sales page.

The OP is a vendor, not an affiliate ...

Until the next day, when you'd list your product somewhere else, you mean?

The one thing that's for sure is that he shouldn't sell it at ClickBank and simultaneously elsewhere. That's just a way of saying "Goodbye" to any serious, pro-affiliates.

Meanwhile, let's not forget that ClickBank is longer established than Google ...

You make excellent points. Now if I don't use Clickbank at all ...which affiliate network would you recommend for larger serious affiliates? Thanks!

Sorry, can't help you here - I'd like to suggest DigiResults and/or JVZoo, but I don't really know from experience.

Then you have to start all over again building up affiliates to promote your products on the new network.

I agree, but unless you have another source of income you should be selling more than one product.

Meanwhile, let's not forget that ClickBank is longer established than Google
Age is completely irrelevant - you could have said the same about Enron. You should never rely on one source for your business. It's just common sense.

Why would you want to go for second best? Click Bank is the largest and oldest affiliate network and they have established fantastic reputation; buyers feel safe, affiliates feel protected and vendors feel well served as all the work is handled automatically.

Because they don't host files. I need my files hosted, protected, autopilot sent to customers when they buy, and a time limit so the download experiers, IP lock so only customer can download, etc. Payloadz offers that. Problem is, payloadz doesn't let you host your thank you page, which is what I need.

I've been using Payloadz for a few years now, but I want to start tracking facebook ad convesion, and for that I need to be able to host my own thank you page. Either that or learn the java script to use google analytics events. action goals.

Even then, it will only tell me if they clicked the buy now button and not if they bought it.

I was all amped about JVzoo then saw they only handle 240mb or lower. I have GIGS of videos I sell, like over 60 gigs right now on Payloadz. Problem is when I make 1700, they take like $150.

Clickbank doesn't host files at all, which sucks. I do not want to host and protect my own files. Payloadz also handles the downloads and everything for me, so it is autopilot. Also the download links expire.

The downfall of Payloadz is no custom thank you page so I don't know how to track facebook ads that convert to sells.

After checking all those, I say go with Payloadz.com They have great prices. I Just realized I get good pricing from Payloadz.

    $0.49+4.9%
$0.05 for orders less than $2.00

That is better than all those other sites. Of course, Clickbank offers a great value at just an upfront of $40 per product and that's it. The problem is, they don't host your files.

JVzoo seems okay too, but they take more than payloadz does and jvzoo doesn't offer larger file hosting. Payloadz offers unlimited file sizes, unlimted storage, etc.

    https://www.payloadz.com/account/UpgradeDetails.asp

Check out all payloadz has to offer to see if they fit your needs. Right now, I also host one of my courses on clickbank, then if I make a sell, I send them a download link from Payloadz. Payloadz makes this so simple. This way the file is secure, cannot be shared, has an expiration etc.

Also, you can add Google analytics into your payloads download page by just going to your profile and placing your analytics code into the txt field. I just learned about this. Now I can track if facebook traffic results in sells.
