What do you think about Mike Filsaimes Customer Support and PAYDOTCOM

I can't seem to get anyone to write me back. Then I bought JV-Alert and was suppose to get a post credit and I never got it...but no one will return my emails.

Then I called the number on the paypal order and they just kept forwarding me to VM. The girl that answered must have had caller ID and when I would call she would pick up the phone and just transfer without even saying hello.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I think they're ok, courteous , and in a reasonable time frame... mind you, you need to check your spam filters, I've found that some ended up in mine, and some automatically get deleted due to the spam filter set to high on my server.

I have bought a couple of things from Mike and have spoken to their customer service - I think it is fine. They seem to respond in a reasonable time frame and I have had good service from them when needed.

I have not had a good experience with Mike's support staff either. I am a list.com member and would not recommend this product. I paid a couple of hundred dollars to become a diamond member which is suppose to allow me to email 5,000 members every other day. From the results I have gotten, I do not think that my email ever reached 5,000 members every day...I used to get emails from other list.com members (one of the stipulations for membership) and for some reason that has ceased.

His support person did reply to my help desk tickets, but they have not resolved the problem. So, I too will not purchase anymore products from Mike.

When you get so big that you lose touch with the customer's needs, then, imo, you have gotten way too big. Excellent customer support is even more important to me than the product itself.

I don't know how people are talking about good experience with Mike Filsaime support, it's the worst support desk out there, its a real nightmare to deal with them, I made the mistake of buying ListDotCom platinum upgrade, and gave up on his support after weeks of issues and horrible support,

I have bought Traffic Fusion from filsaime for $1500 when i asked several questions, the customer support didn't really reply my questions and finally they just ignored my questions.

The two free calls of consultation promised in the salesletter, never received.

I had a terrible time with Mike Filsaime's Customer Support. I was very disappointed. His products are more hype than anything else. The CS is lacking except for the basics. If it involves the Butterfly 2.0 Script, HyperPlugin, or Traffic Fusion, stay away. All products are over-hyped and undersupported.

I bought Traffic Fusion but in the download link, not stated where to start first and how.

They gave lots of other ebooks to show you that the package is well worth $1500.

But some of the download link is not even working.

When I send email for support, they don't really reply to my satisfaction.

The 2 half an hour free consultation phone calls never received.

Count that double for me. I go out of my way to avoid Mike and company now. If anyone is being promoted by him in his 8 or so junk emails to me per hours, I avoid them, too. Disappointing products, customer service nightmares on multiple occasions, over hyped junk with empty promises. Just awful.

    Totally sucks..

I signed up for the Marketing Newsletter but never got it. After seeing that I was being charged for it I sent in a help desk request. Got no answer. I'm pretty busy so didn't deal with it right away. A couple months later I noticed another charge. I sent another help desk ticket. No response and it was filed as closed. I reopened it and did some yelling about how the issue was not resolved and they're charging me for a product I've never received and wanted just to cancel the thing and also get the issues for which I had been charged. Finally, got an answer saying they closed my account but had never received a ticket from me and they also included two issues that I had been charged for.

I read both of the two issues in the next day and was not impressed. Really basic and broad stuff. Nothing specific or useful.

I avoid mikes products like the plague i have brought two in the past
and both were over hyped and one has close to 50 percent broken links.

I approached his customer support and was feed a load of baloney that the products in one package were updated regularly this was three years ago when I decided to post here today I logged into the site it is still exactly the same as it was then.

    Hi Mark:

Never think something is on your end if you went about things the right way. A Rolls Royce has the best reliability of any vehicle but if you purchased the one Bentley that would not make it out of the dealership you are not wrong. It doesn't matter what others tell you. Go by your experience. Be professional with all emails and calls but do follow-up and make it clear that your situation has to be resolved.

    Hope you get satisfaction.

I think the general person can probably learn a lot more from Mike Filsaime by intelligently watching what he does over using his material except when his material goes into depth about his systems. The 7 Figure Code, for example, was pretty decent because he went into how he does stuff a lot but it's not for people who aren't already established at something or not making any kind of money online yet. Some of the DVDs were useless, like the Adwords one. Everyone's experiences will be different. Different people are at different levels and have different personalities, dispositions and needs.

I would say, if you're gonna buy Mike Filsaime's stuff you might wanna stick with his products that are about marketing, systems, funnels, cross selling and all that stuff and probably avoid things like gimmicky software and that sort of thing.

Anyway, this is about his customer support. In my experience the support seems more like trained sales people than actual support. I haven't dealt with them a whole bunch of times but each time I did I wasn't satisfied.

Once there was this affiliate of his who claimed on his blog that Mike Filsaime was giving away all or most of his products for those who bought the 7 Figure Code by a certain time. I bought within the time period but it turns out this affiliate was either misinformed or lied about it.

I know this probably not Mike's fault but when I didn't get this stuff I asked their support about it. Man, that woman just couldn't understand what I was saying. We literally went back and forth about it over about a two or three week period until she finally got it. I simply wanted to know if it was true that I would get those bonuses. If I was entitled to them then please give it to me or if not then that's okay but maybe it would be a good idea to bring the error to Mike's attention so that next time an affiliate isn't lying or isn't misinformed so that customers won't be mislead, and I would just take the loss. No Problem.

She just didn't get it. I can't even remember what replies she gave me but I was all like, "What's that got to do with the price of tea in China?" and stuff. Then she's like "You affiliate was Jeremy Burns" and I'm like duh but that's not the point I'm talking about the other guy who said I would get that stuff. He didn't say it was only if I get it through his affiliate link he was saying anyone would get all that stuff if they ordered by XYZ date period. And she keeps closing tickets without the problem being resolved but when anybody does that I just keep opening them again even if I don't reply.

I rated her a half way rating of satisfactory or whatever it was called and I got a brief 'sniff' message with a crying emoticon in it. Sh*t, it made me feel all guilty. Then I'm all like "Nooo, it's okay" like the jerk that I am but I still didn't get an answer. Finally (one day), she tells me to call the office to let them know how they can make it up to me and I'm all like "I don't want free stuff unless I was entitled to it" but they're all about saving the sale even if they have to give something away. I didn't call and take any bribes.

I also had an experience where I asked a question about some product that had a deadline to buy, because I wanted to know if I got PLR with it or something (I can't remember). I asked about two days in advance and I didn't get a reply until about 15 minutes before the deadline with no answer to my question but saying she'd could try to find out but that it's a great deal and worth getting before it's too late. And I'm all like "Noooo, it's not a good deal for me unless it has PLR so I can change stuff". We were supposed to register a domain for this product and peddle it on Clickbank. That was his suggestion. How many people would get this and all set up the same exact thing on Clickbank? A lot. No thanks. This is 15 minutes before the deal ends and she's says she can try and find out but to get it while I still can cause it's a great deal? She can't be that clueless. It's almost like she was playing dumb on purpose. I dunno, but it felt like a strategy to press me into buying and that not replying until just before the deadline was deliberate. But I can't say for sure. Nope, I didn't buy it.

I wouldn't be surprised if they have a 'when they say this you do that' cheat sheet designed to maximize sales. Good for them, but I'm not falling for it.

Like I said, you might usually learn more just taking notes on Mike.

I tried to get support from PayDotCom for a month. I wrote them about once a week on the same ticket asking again and again for an answer. Finally a month later someone got back to me with the answer. Then they scowled me for asking the same question 4 times over the month. They told me I should only ask the question once then wait for them to answer.

I would say it was some of the worst support I have ever received.

Terrible experience with PayDotCom and its "support."

Someone earlier said to avoid MF's products like the plague. I'll ditto that. I'm sure there's another pump and dump product coming out soon. Probably have about 50 upsell / downsell offers to wade through before you actually get to the product page.

Instead of PayDotCom, I suggest ClickBank if you're looking for affiliate action. Otherwise, there isn't much purpose to PDC - you can sell directly with PayPal.

It is really too bad I have to state the above. PDC had a lot of promise. My impression is it was abandoned, either in priority or entirely, to focus on product launch pitches.

Was the 2nd issue full of typos like the 1st issue?

Worried about cancelling a continuity program later on?
Here's how to retain 'cancel control' from the get-go -
In the US, go get a prepaid/gift card credit card from your local Mall, Walgreens, CVS, etc.

Put enough on the card (or buy a prepaid amount)
to cover shipping and 2-3 months of the continuity program.

When the card runs out, they'll email and/or call you to let you know.
Then you can decide to continue or not..using another similar card, of course.
Oh yeah - no bank-issued debit card overdraft issues to worry about, too.

        That's Sad.
I've actually worked in call centers (both phone and internet-based CS departments) for several years.
CS 101 - apologize and make it right, not berade the customer for submitting an inquiry 4 times.
I'm all for providing a closing statement that offers another apology and a suggestion for
getting better service with future inquiries (not ask once and wait...and wait...and wait).

I just got the free stuff from his recent offer:

7 figure secrets and his newsletter and some special report "burn after reading"

All of it was utter garbage. Sure, it was "basically" free, but I'd recommend not getting it. The magazine is now way in hell worth 37/month and the manual was crap. Just a bunch of recycled information.

I'm half tempted to ask for a refund.

If he hasn't used PayDotCom why are you saying "What a question????" It isn't a stupid question since if he needs to ask most likely he hasn't used it and therefore he can't compare, hence the need to ask.

The main problem with his question is that it seems like an attempt to change the subject. He should have started another thread.

And, yea, aside from people generally being unable to buy through their own link at PayDotCom to protect affiliates against commission theft I personally don't like PayDotDom. I think it's confusing and I hate navigating it. Other than that I guess it's alright except for the fact that most people I've promoted there are either deadbeats who won't pay commissions (cause PayDotCom doesn't handle that but only tracks who's bought what and who owes who what and how much - the product owner still has to pay affiliates themselves) or people I have to constantly keep reminding and chase after. If they "forget" they should mark their calendars to check their PayDotCom accounts once a month. But a lot of them don't forget they either just don't care or spend more than they make and then can't pay.

        I don't care. Pay me.

That is not Mike Filsaime's fault but it's something to keep in mind and I'm sick of this *beep*. *beep*ing *beep*holes.

So, there you go for PayDotCom.

There are about half a dozen *beep*s whose names most people would know that owe me four figures who had better pray I never bump into them at some seminar. I'll be ready with brass knuckles and a coin filled sock just in case.

Sorry for the misunderstand, I didn't mean the question is stupid or anything like this, it was just was a shocking question for me to compare clickbank to paydotcom.

and you just covered the main point of strength of clickbank, despite any drawback one can think about clickbank, its main strength is that when your effort pays off, you'll be paid, that simple,
Not only with paydotcom, but many other affiliate networks (cj for example), I got big doubts about their tracking systems and process of operation, sometimes I put hard work and real effort in an affiliate offer to find out very poor and disappointing results, that's why I totally trust CB, and away from internet marketing and making money niches, stealing affiliate commissions isn't that common.

Hey, don't worry about it man. I get it, you were just being facetious. Sorry if I sounded too aggressive maybe I can do that sometimes I guess. No problem.

Yea, I've been called silly before for avoiding PayDotCom but I don't care. Whether it's PayDotCom or any in house or in house-like affiliate program I will try to find out about the merchant first now and the first time I don't get paid they're out.

I'll only use PayDotCom if I have a good feeling about the seller but I still avoid it. It's not the worst experience I've had and I haven't sold tons there but my patience is limited now and I just don't use it.

I promote products through PayDotCom regularly and have seen a dramatic drop in productivity from the site. I think Clickbank does need a direct competitor, but I think people's trust in PayDotCom has dwindled and I think Mike Filsaime has directed his interests elsewhere.

I am thinking of moving all of my products to my in house affiliate program, but haven't had the time to do so.

I love Clickbank and use it as well for certain products, but it just is not as functional as a top tier Marketplace that has made as much money as they have should be.

Ok, so let me ask you this...I can't market my product on clickbank because its a Network Marketing training product and clickbank won't allow it.

That is the only reason I am using PAYDOTCOM. I am using it because I wanted to be able to have affiliates...is there another way?

I heard 1 shoppingcart allows you to create affiliate links, but do they approve you based on credit? I am also in real estate and had to let one of my properties go recently...so my credit is in the dumps currently.

I just want to be able to have affiliates.

                What do you think?

Why didn't I ask for a refund? Well because it was only a few bucks and I'm not sure if they offer them considering the product was shipped.

Yeah, but Nathan you are probably going to get hit every month for the mag subscription. Did you read the fine print (it's usually hidden amongst the other crap).
Basically the deal is often "Download My Free Widget, & You Get The First Addition of My Magazine"
        Note: The word "First"
Quite often the "Free" deal is attached to someone else's offer as a bonus.

Go back & read the deal again buddy.

Don't worry, I don't miss that stuff. He's got a website specifically for canceling his newsletter. I made sure to use it.

The problem with PayDotCom is that you are relying on the vendor to actually pay you.
In November I made a large sell for a well-known vendor on PDC that supposedly earned me $397 commission. Needless to say, I did not get it. The vendor blamed PayDotCom saying they did not record the sale to my account, and of course, PDC blamed the vendor.

Ironically, I had approached the vendor about their affiliate program because I had a buyer in hand. He sent me to a "special" PayDotCom affiliate link for that specific sale, so he was well aware that I initiated and made the sale for him.

I prefer staying with Clickbank and even CJ for my affiliate sales and don't feel I can afford to waste my time and efforts selling products that use PDC.
