Product Creator Pro--any experiences or reviews ?

Just saw a great webinar presented by Jay Boyer and John Rhodes about Product Creator Pro, which is web-based and produces quick fully formatted reports, e-books, Kindle, etc. With nice graphics. Normally I check WF and/or e1kad to see what experiences my fellow marketers are having. But---I can't find anything about this.

Where is Paul Coleman or another of the wise voices I've come to rely on when I need them This is definitely in the wheelhouse of some of the great Warriors.

Seriously, I am interested in doing this---it looks like a great time-saver---but it's really kind of out of my budget at the moment. Any reviews or alternate ideas would be welcome.

Thanks,

kevin

Checked it out, Its 50 dollars a month... Quite expensive.

I'd definitely be interested if it was an one time payment of 50 or 100 bucks. It looks quite great but not 50 dollars a month worth.

      Ronnie:

Thanks for answering You had a great voice and presence during the webinar, by the way. I remembered John and Jay a little more easily because I was already familiar with them from Amazon Cash Machines.

I came into the webinar a bit late so couldn't ask questions via chat. One I would have asked straight out is to compare Product Creator Pro to Kindle Kinstant Formatter (Rachel Rofe). I know that PCP (great acronym does a lot more than Kinstant Formatter (newsletters are reports)---but just as a straight comparison to Kindle-only tasks---what do you think ?

I'm looking at your website and it only has two options-
    Product Creator Pro: Pricing

    Are there other options?

When you create a Free account, you are able to see the other pricing options.

The key is that annual is a massive savings (from $49/mo down to $33/mo, billed annually).

Compare that to expensive pro software or outsourcing and it's a steal.

Product creation is sure a great way not only to make money but also to build authority on the selected niche. Now, Kindle getting more and more popular, it is worth to learn some real cool product creation stuff.

I appreciate your initiative in testing this out and look forward to your review. I may go with the free version myself---I figure if it works, I won't mind paying the regular price later.

Its a great service for some of you guys but I'm sure the 50 bucks will give your articles and ebooks more edge compare with others.

But I'm sure if its 39.99 monthly more people will sign up

You're absolutely right! You'll gain the edge since you'll look super-pro look, without having to wait days (or weeks) from a designer, and without having to spend days (or weeks) learning Photoshop or InDesign.

And our annual plan works out to be $33/mo (billed annually, of course).

Wanted to add my $0.02 to this. Nicole Dean told me I needed to contact Ronnie for something PLR related. I did and he mentioned this product to me. Me, being a tech dummy, almost balked but he set me up to try it.

I was able to create my first professional looking newsletter using this and I LOVE it. It's really idiot friendly, letting me point and click my images in, formatting, and all that jazz.

And when I stumbled a little teeny bit, Ronnie responded immediately to show me what I was doing wrong. (something so stupid I won't even admit it here).

Anyhoo - point is, I released my first official newsletter and everyone LOVED the look.

Here's a little tiny image of what it looked like (it's a newsletter on Confidence for Online Entrepreneurs, by the way - hence the fish jumping from a small bowl to a big one):

Anyway it's great! I love it. Two enthusiastic thumbs up for both the product itself AND the guy behind it - which, by the way, all of my followers confirmed helped THEM too and they loved him (so it wasn't just him helping me).

    Hey Kevin

I saw the webinar and grabbed the annual subscription deal they had on offer.

For me it was a no brainer, since I create a heap of Kindle books and anyone that has published on Kindle knows what a total pain in the a$$ the formatting can be :p

I only purchased it on the weekend, but have already used it to create some book covers and mini books for CPA/Affiliate marketing lead generation.

You can see the new stuff I've already created here:
Mini Report --> Click here to see mini report on Scribd.com
Kindle Cover --> Click here to see cover on Amazon.comClick here to see cover on Amazon.com
I pretty much suck at design. My last Kindle cover took me 16 hours to create. Creating a new cover through Product Creator Pro took me less than 10 minutes.

My mini reports used to take me about 5 hours to create, looked like crap and had very low click through rates. The mini report I created the Product Creator Pro using their template took me 18 minutes.
    So far:
    • Used 2 of my 50 Product Creator Pro monthly credits
    • Created 2 items in a total of 28 minutes that would have usually taken me a total of 21 hours (3 days)
    • For me, time already saved > 20 hours

I paid $299 for my annual subscription, so having saved 20 hours of my time in just the first 3 days of using Product Creator Pro it has already got me a positive return on my investment

Some of my examples will also be used by Product Creator Pro for case studies.

If you can't afford the subscription, don't want to use the free trial, or just want to be able to get stuff done on an "as needed" basis I will be creating a 'white label' service from 1 July that will allow Warriors to have individual books/reports/newsletters/covers/kindle created for them.

Since cash flow can be a big issue (especially if just starting out), I don't mind sorting out some kind of payment alternative (eg. if you can write an article, create a video, etc).

    Just PM me if interested.

Also - if you are strapped for cash I have some great tips on my blog with how you can get stuff you need without paying a dime. Check it out at Start an Online Business with No Money!Business Start-up Online

I hadn't checked this thread out in a while and was pleased to see that both Jamie and Tiffany weighed in on this fascinating product. Thanks to you both for giving such meaty replies

You'll be glad to know that I actually DID join, myself a couple of days ago. I plan to start the training this evening and be producing reports within a couple of days. I have planned for YEARS to become a prolific content creator and I think now I am ready

You may interested to know that I found the money in a very old-fashioned way: I canceled my membership to a private blog network; the savings more than pays for PCP. I wasn't using it and from a time management perspective it was a no-brainer: I only have so many hours to create content and I can't "waste" them on the hope that the private blog network will help me out. I want to really craft my material into something I'm proud of.

It's great to have one less barrier to turning ideas into reality.

Maybe I'll see you guys in the PCP member's area

      Best of Luck,

      Kevin

Is there anyone still watching this thread? The product looks really interesting. I like the covers and layout.

I am playing around with the free version and am having a bit of problem with importing a doc and getting the page breaks and photos to look right. Any suggestions. Also has anyone used this with Kindle much? Is it a straight forward import?

    Thanks,
    Mike

Mike, I use this product. I have mainly used it for articles, but it is really easy to import your document. Just save it in the DOCX format, and then upload it to Product Creator Pro in that format. It uploads very quickly. I think they're currently beta testing the page breaks, but I'm sure Ronnie or Nick (of PCP) can provide you with information on that.

One thing I found is that you need to make sure that before you upload your document into PCP, make sure that your document file is named exactly what you want to have appear in your book or your report that you will be creating. Not sure why that is, but that's just been my experience.

I put together a video a few weeks ago, showing the steps to make a book using Product Creator Pro. You may want to view it, as it may give you a few ideas.
      My PCP Movie.wmv - YouTube

Mostly, it takes playing around with PCP to get comfortable with it, and know how to use it. It keeps getting better and better all the time (I was a beta tester), so it's definitely worth using.

As for your question about the photos, I know I asked about that too. I'm going to check my past emails, and then get back to you on that if I can find my email that answered that question.

Looks great but they should lower the price to get more subscribers.
Lower the price to what it was for the webinar and more people will join.

      I don't see the 50 cents a book option.

Also, is there a place to see all the templates?

I tried watching the webinar but it's two hours long and so far it's very basic obvious information.

I also wanted to know more about his statement,

"kindle doesn't except all forms of formatting like headers and footers."

This doesn't seem right to me.

And i would also like to know if you can alter/edit the templates?

For example, i saw a two column template that looked nice but i would like to be able to change that same template to a one column.

I just bought another kindle product producer but I am very interested in the quality templates.

I hope the author is still monitoring this thread.

      It's kinda old now.

    Hi Anthony,

I think I can answer for Ronnie. I believe he meant if you pay the annual price of $299, which breaks down to about $25 a month, for 50 publishing credits a month, that comes out to 50 cents per publication you create with it.

    Warmly,
    Dan

P.S. I appreciate people sharing their experiences with the program. That's why I'm here reading this thread. (Because another program promising to do easy Kindle publishing is under-whelming me.)

    Thanks Dan for stepping in!

Yes, it ends up being about 50 cents per publishing credit. Peanuts considering you can do so much with the app.

We just had a major update:
    Product Creator Pro

    - Added ePub exporting
    - Added DOC, DOCX, ODT, and RTF support
    - Added beta Table of Contents support for Kindle and PDFs, etc
    - Vastly improved PDF engine so the formatting is even better

And a bunch of other great stuff.

Best part is that there's no downloads, no upgrades, no upsells... become a member and get all the latest updates and features immediately when you login (Mac/PC, etc... just need a web browser!).

So far everything I've bought from Ronnie Nijmeh's company PLR.me has been top quality because he's a such a sharp, experienced marketer. He's also a really nice guy. Chantal his assistant provides remarkable customer assistance, too.

I'm buying Ronnie's Product Creator Pro software subscription soon because I can count on active support, maintenance, and development from PLR.me. That's a rarity.

I got a Product Creator Pro free trial offer when I bought related products form PLR.me this fall. I notice Ronnie's link in the post above offers both annual and 6-month memberships to save more monthly.

Notice the bonuses he includes to encourage Product Creator Pro subscriptions. They are relevant and significant rewards for buying.

      Cheers,
