This is a mass bookmarking tool and best used with bookmarking parasite hosts rather than your own domain (unless your own domain is over 2 yrs old).

If used on a new domain, it's a quick trip to the sandbox.

It can be very helpful or it can cause you problems. It's all in how you use it. If you use it with caution as a way to automate social bookmark linking building on a gradual basis it's great. If you spam 1000's of bookmarks overnight, you're asking for trouble.

I like the new Bookmarking Demon. It lets you add RSS feeds from popular blogs so you don't look like a spammer. I throw in there RSS feeds from my other blogs as well. It has good proxy support and it lets you limit the number of bookmarks. As long as you've got a fast list of sites and feeds to bookmark and keep on the low end of the programs "spam-o-meter" you won't have any problems. I know because I use it.

I would go with manual submission rather than using bookmarking demons where the percentage to get listed is very very low..

I own it & I say NAY...

The support is lacking, every time he updates BMD I have to get a new unlock code, since you can only install it X amount of times & his updates require new installs... It seems like I am having to contact support for new key & they don't always get back with me so after the last upgrade I gave up on this product... Just too much hassle.

hi cliffmaster,

i would say that his upgrade experience is not typical ... i've never had to ask for an unlock key in the many months i've used it ...

i think the program is worth it because most importantly, it saves me TIME! and that's crucial!

and because the backlinks do only show up slowly, used wisely you won't have any problems ... i got myself in much more trouble when i was using socialposter etc.

for me, yay

I was slow about upgrading too based on some problems a few people said that they were having. When I did upgrade, it went very smoothly and I haven't had any problems since. The new version is much better and more powerful.

Hmm.... In this thread all member has their experience and reason about or using bookmarking demon but thank for the short review for BMD. I want to buy this product but right now I'm still saving money.

Right now I'm having an issue with BDM not loading my saved accounts. I contacted support and received a reply in under 24 hours. The situation is not resolved just yet. But I must say, I love this piece of software. It rocks.

I just bought it this morning.. I don't have the 64-character license, but I have contaced support.
