Wealthy Affiliate Experiences Please

How many people here are, have been, or plan to become Wealthy Affiliate members? I have been a member there for several months, but I do not spend a lot of time there. It seems like they have so much to offer, special tools, website builder, NicheQ, tutorials.. but ... I didn't like the website builder, haven't used the NicheQ yet, I like this forum better.

I know that I am rambling, but I am trying to figure out if it is worth my money to stay there, or if it is time to move on. What do some of you, more experienced warriors think? Do I need to give it another look, and make better use of what they offer, or is my time better spent elsewhere?

Ok, no bites on this one yet, but how about this question? I am actually thinking of replacing my Wealthy Affiliate membership with a Earn1kaDay one. What do you think? I really like the information that I get from Dennis in his emails.

I was a member of Wealthy Affiliate. It's a great place to start where all the info is spoon fed to you. After you have taken it all in there really isn't much there to keep you around besides the forum. Oh yes. It's a great place to learn PPC. I would recommend it to a newbie with some money to spend.

I was a member if WA when I first started. Its a great place for newbies. The best part is the forum since you can ask questions without getting slammed or feeling stupid. I left once I felt like I had my feet under me and knew more about the basics.

I think Affilorama has a much better step by step program than WA. It goes through defining what affiliate marketing is all the way through site building, SEO, content creation, RSS etc. There are tons of videos that walk you through everything and good tools. If I remember, Mark made the basic program free. Well worth checking out.

E1KAD is great. That's where I went after WA. There's aren't as many tools but Dennis provides a TON of information free to subscribers. It also doesn't really have a structured plan to follow. However its also a great forum for asking questions and getting feedback. I would say this is better for someone who already has the basics down. You can follow Affilorama if you need more.

        Hope that helps!

Based on this post I Googled Affilorama and checked it out. I'm very impressed and have joined as a free member to evaluate it further. If it performs well in showing me step-by-step and learning about IM'g and affiliate marketing, I may just upgrade to Premium. Just from what I know from my limited "personal knowledge," this appears to be a very viable start vs. WA. For me anyway. I welcome any other comments of those with experience with WA and Affilorama Premium Members.

Contrary to what others have said, I would NOT recommend WA to beginners. As in, people with ZERO knowledge of IM. You're completely left in the dark in most places and have to turn to the forum to get your questions answered.

    This was my experience, however.

Biggy, I know what you mean! That is part of what I was talking about in my message just above this one. The site was very busy, but the info was almost too basic. Kind of like primary school -- You might learn what algebra is, but you won't learn how to do it!

Thanks, nine-yards! I agree about Mark's Affilorama. The step by step is much better and there are lots of videos there as well. One thing that I never really liked about WA was the way the site was laid out. MUCH too busy and confusing! I went back through there over the last couple of days, since I first posted this, and decided to go on and drop it. My membership was due to renew tomorrow, so I canceled last night.

Thanks, also for the info on E1KAD. What you are saying is what I was already thinking about that one. Not a step by step but some good creative stuff. I know I like Dennis's emails.

    Big help, Thanks!
