Mass edit txt files tool?

4 replies
I'm looking for a tool that lets me add an html link to hundreds of txt files pretty much on autopilot. Don't want to start doing this manually .

Is there a tool out there that can scan an article for a certain word, at a link to it and jump to the next article and do the same thing?

I tried winautomation, but it's a pain to work with.

Any help is appreciated!

    I use Notepad++

    It has a mass search & replace for files in a directory. It's also free.

      This is so ironic. Me and my teen go back and forth over which is better (for text): Tab Pro or Pad Plus Plus. Being a fan of "C," he just likes saying the "Plus Plus" part - I'm sure of it! ;-)

      Amen to that...I use notepad++ as well. It would definitely do the job.
