Evergreen business sytems...your thoughts

I am using go to webinar now for live webinars; I want to switch to Mike F"s Evergreen Business Systems. Before I buy, would like to hear from those using it, in terms of how happy you are with the product, and how easy/difficult it is to get going on it.

    I purchased it...

The bonus WP launch theme isn't compatible with WP 3 and they have no update plans... so, don't factor it in to your buying decision... I was pretty annoyed with that since I had plans for it and wasted a bunch of time trying to get it to work...

The main product is pretty easy to use. There were one or two instances where I couldn't find the location of an option toggle, but that's about it.

Everything works pretty seamlessly. The registration, thank you, and replay pages are sleek and modern looking.

Be aware, though, that even though they say their software installs to your server, that's bending the truth a little.

You can export your campaigns for installation to your server. Your campaigns will then work without interaction with their servers... but, you still have to use their server any time you want to create a new campaign or edit an existing one.

Also, be aware that they don't host your video files. I use Amazon S3 for mine.

Finally, consider that they are selling lifetime licenses for a hefty fee instead of charging for monthly access. This is a little worrisome because they have no incentive to maintain or enhance the system once sales slow down.

But, if you're ok with paying $500 for 2 years of use- then I can recommend it.

...experiencing my first serious glitch with the system...

Their server is down and I also can't access their help desk system because they put it on the same server as the one it's meant to support in case it goes down... hahaha... it'd be funny if it wasn't so tragic.

Anyway, I located an email exchange I had with their tech support guy when I first bought the system... I emailed him and let him know about the situation... hopefully, it will be resolved soon... (assuming their email server is not on the same machine.. haha... sigh).

*EDIT: Whatever is affecting their main server is affecting the registration landing pages somewhat too.. they're still coming up, but there's a long delay between when the link is clicked and when the page displays...

*EDIT 2: OK... I was able to access their helpdesk now... maybe things are getting restored... about 30 minutes gone by so far...

*EDIT 3: They're back online... downtime was about 2 hours I think...

Gene, how is Evergreen Business System going for you? Still using it? Happy with it? Getting good feedback (and results)? Keen to know, as it looks good 'on paper' (i.a. sales page) but I have often experienced a gap between promises and performances when it comes to software, especially in the "internet marketer" space. Any light you could shed on your Evergreen Business System experience would be greatly appreciated!

Yep, you'll always get some downtime with every service. Even Amazon S3 has outages (check the news, they get slapped by the media when it happens).

I'm also a customer of Evergreen Biz System. I like it very much. The learning curve is pretty darn short.

Here is a live demo of the system in action.

It's far better than the live demo that Filsaime put together (his live demo is a sales pitch. This live demo is pure content).

Chris, are you still promoting/endorsing Evergreen Business System? Do you still use it yourself? Is it reliable? Are people 'buying' (i.e. believing) the simulated 'live' effect? Are you selling product via simulated live webinars?

What ever you do - do not use this software. They screw up all the time, your webinars will show up with another persons name on them and they will close your account without notice. They are childish, unprofessional and a disgrace to internet marketing
