Any Real Alternative to Paypal?

PRODUCT REVIEWS

I'm looking to provide a choice away from using Paypal as a payment gateway and seem to have reached the conclusion that a merchant account which allows people to pay be credit/debit card is the way to go. So - if I live in UK and sell mainly in the US, what merchant account would you use?

2Checkout would be my next recommendation as its close to paypal in fact they even accept paypal payments

Before, there was alertpay. But when it was purchased by another site, there is actually no better alternative to paypal unless you have credit card merchant account like 2checkout.

I personally use paypal and have never had a problem alertpay is ok though.

PayPal does allow you to accept cards. Personally I have used PayPal most of the time for online stuff.

I also use Clickbank and DigiResults for digital stuff.

My next few products will be released using ProductPay.com .

I've had problems with clients who have an old Paypal account that was linked to an old checking account and they don't want to go to the hassle of updating everything just to buy something from my site. Have you heard of PayPay?

You can try Authorize.net, 2checkout, Payza or Moneybookers. Moneybookers is good too since you can send Escrow money which is safe.
