Pin Your Income - What's The Truth?

Has anyone got access to this product yet?

It was supposed to launch on 21st June but I haven't seen anyone promoting it yet.

As soon as it comes out I'll be purchasing myself a copy and putting a video review together but until then I'm just wondering whether anyone has had an experience with it already?

Jani: Thanks for providing a tour of the members area before product launch:

However, my understanding is that Pinterest now blocks affiliate links on its website. Do your methods include this new update?

Update: Firstly, the members area is loaded with banner ads for other affiliate offers which is not cool. Second, training is filled with what I call "fluff". Things like "how to set up a pinterest account" or 'how to get a clickbank account". He spends too much time talking about pinterest stats (45 million users, bigger than google and facebook, etc.)which does not help us at all to make money. I was able to pin 1 video but now Pinterest refuses to let me pin any additional videos. Not sure if its the platform or if its something I'm doing wrong or if its because I am a pinterest newbie. Another problem is that pinterest does not let you follow too many people in a day. After just a few follows pinterest began to block me from following any more people. This makes for a long grueling process to build followers. And definitely pinterest does NOT allow affiliate links in pins anymore. Too many people like Jani G were spamming pinterest with affiliate links and ruined it for everybody else afterwards. Jani appears to have milked pinterest for all its worth himself and now is promoting an outdated method. I guess a leopard really doesn't change his spots. In conclusion, IMO it will be very difficult to make any money with pinterest. You need to build a lot of followers on pinterest just like twitter, facebook, etc. to begin to generate any kind of traffic and income on pinterest.

This statement is what concerns me the most because it's essentially a showstopper and it hasn't been contradicted yet, especially by the product owner(s). It needs clarifying.

So am I correct in assuming that this will not be a WSO?

You must not be familiar with Janis past products :-)

They have a certain... Reputation for being scams and poor quality over hyped products

Hey, if he's finally going legit I'll be the first to admit it, but his name is enough for me to not trust the product. I'm friends with many im'ers that won't promote his products for that very reason

            Thanks eljeffe77...

Maybe this non-WSO is a non-WSO in Mike Lantz's eyes too...

Just my opinion....but a dumbass launch sequence if you could call it that.

            Hey everyone!

sorry for the late reply, I have been busy with the launch making sure everything is running smooth.

Ok let me answer some questions

firstly the comment above about my products not being legit and me having a bad reputaiton...

I think the word scam is a bit harsh

I have no problem in saying that yes in the past some people have had different things, good and bad about the quality of my past products.

some people love them , some people hate them... You can't please everyone...

but in regards to Pin Your Income...

Me and my team including, Chuck Sterling, Alex Jones, and a few other in house team members, have worked hard to roduce a top quality product that shows you how to market , get traffic and make money from Pinterest.

In regards to the upsells that some of you are asking about.

Ill tell you that they are great additions to the course.

I'm not going to say that you NEED the upsells in order to make money with the system

However they do make it more easier for you to see results, but its totally optional...

The second upsell is a course that shows you how to link Pinterest up with Amazon and also the Amazon Kindle to see some pretty crazy results

crazy in a good way hehe

ok guys any more questions, just reply on this thread im more then happy to answer them.

If i take long to reply, its probably because I am replying to the hundreds of emails from other customers of Pin Your Income...

            thanks guy, talk soon

Had access since the 2nd and I have been all through the product including up-sells and as someone new to Pinterest marketing, I have to say i love it!.

i've heard a lot of good things about Pinterest marketing, and saw something on the news a while back about a guy making $1,000 per day using Pinterest alone, so it seems like there is huge potential here. I've made some money in the past using Pinterest which was mainly luck, so hopefully this can take me to the next level in regards t Pinterest marketing.

Can you share the OTO's --- description and pricing?
I am interested -- I just don't have enough info....like: affiliate links no longer being allowed by Pinterest.....and I HATE OTO's --- just package it all together and let me decide.....

        From another forum.
According to the JV page the front End product is $46, then there are 3 Upsells at $297, $295 and $193. Downsells are $100 less on all 3.

One of them looked quite interesting to do with Amazon, another is just 5 sites.

Just saw this after I posted last...like 2 minutes....ships in the night...

If these are the correct upsell prices....these guys are dreaming...I wouldn't even buy the basic course for $46.00 bucks since I would have to assume all the really good info (if there is any) would be in the upsells...

          Just my thoughts....dumb launch sequence...

Hi Jeff, the product isn't actually by Jani G, its by a guy called Chuck Sterling. Chuck was going to do the launch solo, but somewhere along the way Jani seems to have hoped onto the product and it's now a joint venture between the two. Seems like it's Chuck's training, with Jani's backing for promotional means.

            Yes, those prices are correct.

            There are three up-sells -

$297 up-sell are 5 Pinterest optimized sites, which all you need to do is input your info i.e. affiliate link and email list code. the idea being that you not only get people to buy from you but also to get them onto your list. + some other goodies.

$295 up-sell deals with amazon and shows how to drive traffic using Pinterest and other means to amazon affiliate links + kindle links.

the last upsell $193 or so if my memory serves correct teaches you how to outsource the process and get a virtual assistant to do everything for you.

My favourite up-sell was the Amazon one, however the basic training is more than enough to get you started. In my opinion the product is priced correctly. It follows the same launch funnel as many other products in this niche and currently most products are priced from $39 - $47.

P.s. sorry for spelling and/or grammar mistakes, im typing this from an iPad.

I just got a "How come you didn't complete your order?" email from Jani & Chuck and then they offered to have me look at some statistic Video #1....

I have been at this game long enough that I am not going to fork over $46.00 bucks for a basic course...and not know what the other 'features & benefits' are for the OTO(s)...or upgrades...whatever you want to call them...

  • I am involved with Amazon and Pinterest and do find it "impressive" that a programme set up for an Amazon product valued at $156 (?) can bring in $1250 (?) dollars in such a short time.

If Jani's friend (who couldn't get in touch by either text or a call so sends a video - yeah right!) is new to Amazon his commission will be at best 5-6%, so the sales required to get the $1250 in 2-3 days would be in the vicinity of 145 units. As I said pretty "impressive".

    Cheers and good luck

Remember the Amazon section is just an up-sell.

The meat and potatoes of the course teach the following -

List building, direct affiliate marketing, SEO (how to get your pins ranked on google), SMS marketing (very profitable) and a few other topics.

The actual Amazon up-sell shows you how to make money as an amazon affiliate using Pinterest to drive traffic (and some other things) BUT also included is how to create a Kindle ebook and market that.

Also see this article - Daily Dot | A Pinterest spammer tells all (no affiliate link) it shows how someone was making $1,000 per day just using Pinterest (I remember seeing it on the news)

      Review from another Forum.
I've run through all of the main Training Modules and have to say it is terrible! I'm guessing this is targeted at people who aren't even smart enough to have found WF yet, because I'm sure it would receive some flak even as a WSO. I find it hard to believe the guys who produced this have made more than a few dollars on Pinterest, despite their claims of at least $12,000+ each month.

If you still feel inclined to look at some of the worst videos on Pinterest ever, then make sure to playback at double speed or more, only then does his voice reach a normal speed!

Take a look through different areas and see if anything appeals, but don't expect to discover anything new if you have already looked at Pinterest.

The course in my opinion is great for people new to Pinterest. I purchased it as I know NOTHING about Pinterest or how to market. The training brakes down exactly what Pinterest is, what the demographics are, how to pick products to convert with the user base etc.

It's great for people new or wanting to get started using Pinterest. Obviously if your experienced using it, then you won't learn anything new from this course, but then again if your already experienced why would you purchase this course? It's like all those WSO's and other products that come out claiming to be a groundbreaking course with brand new SEO techniques to get you ranked. Turns out it's the same stuff you saw 2 years ago.

Verdict - if your new to Pinterest I would recommend the course as it's teaches pretty much everything you need to know, in an easy to digest format (i.e short videos instead of long 25 minute ones).

Obviously if your experience/know what your doing skip it like you would with any other product you already have experience in.

Hey guys great to hear the comments here, seems like a roller coaster ride, if this helps I started looking at Pinterest a month or so ago - the objective to send traffic at local business sites, (and my blog) the results are good for traffic and high PR links (they are now no follow but still well worth while)

All I can tell you from my experience is that Pinterest drives traffic, I left two profile pictures of me on my account (and I'm not a David Beckham Lol) and I started getting traffic instantly, kinda crazy.

So here's the thing I have no idea what Jani is talking about with his money pins or how to drop them, but Pinterest drives traffic period.

The seo factor of pins I have found very easy, if you name your image your keyword and use basic on site seo practices in the text, several pins that I put out now rank on page one for one of my local business sites, that is pretty awesome for what is actually just an optimized image file.

Hey for's and against's, I agree STRONGLY with DianaLensbury!!! There has been some VERY serious contradictory information that has surfaced to SHUT the curtain on this show and this information has NOT been corrected by the individual who DID make an appearance (Jani) in this SHOW! I shoot it to you straight, IF (???) someone has integrity it will reveal itself in them and their products or their JV products and if they do not have integrity the same exposure will apply. We all want to make money but if the product can't do the claims put upon it then it's not worth the purchase price and shouldn't even be promoted for sale. I'm siding with the TRUTH and if it doesn't line up then shut it down and keep it to yourself!!! Thanks Diana for bringing this to light!!!

      Hi everyone,

I haven't bought this product and although I do not intend to buy it either, it isn't because of anything I've heard or read about Jani G's products, I just choose not to buy it simply because I use a little common sense approach when it somes to using sites like pinterest.

I'm not an expert and never have been, but it just doesn't matter about all this stuff about whether Pinterest has or hasn't blocked affiliate links. To be honest it SHOULD block them and it serves anyone right for not being able to promote as a result of spamming the site, good on Pinterest for doing it.

      BUT .......

I will tell you how I consistently earn using Pinterest, not alot but just really small amounts that will help to pay my yearly domain and hosting fees which is ok if I look at it this way : Pinterest allowed me to run my website for free. (Sounds like a great article heading hey ?!?!)

I don't use affiliate links on Pinterest either.

I'm not into this crappy stuff about making flashy videos that keep people intrigued for no apparent reason, I'll NEVER BUY anything that does that ..... it's bullshit ........ (that's my opinion and i reserve the right to change it at any point without notice, so there !!!)

      Here's what I do:

I have a website about all the stuff that i personally do to stay in shape. It isn't regurgitated crap, I write the articles myself and I write them the way i talk, just like this forum post. i'm really not concearned about whether it should or shouldn't be worded a certain way, i'm ME and I want it to portray that so that's that.

When I write a blog post I also design an image to go with it but not an ordinary image. i concentrate it specifically ON the blog post. So for example, one of my blog posts was about how I cut down on junk food and all the little steps I took to manage to do it (just to add this is something I REALLY did, not with a marketing perspective but genuinly from a health perspective). Anyway the image was an infographic that summarised the content of my article, in other words I designed the infographic for people that learn more through images than long articles. the image can also be a quote that sort of captures the essence of your article. So if your article is about NOT GIVING UP or something then you can get a great inspirational quote from a well known person and use it in your article WITH the intention or PINNIN it too !!!

I then PIN this to my Pinterest board named "KEEP FIT" or "healthy eating" or something like that.

If people like it they will RE-PIN it which basically means that everyone that is following them on Pinterst also sees that image, a bit like the LIKE button on Facebook, although you can also LIKE an image on Pinterest too and it shows up in front of YOUR followers too. Can you see the viral nature of it ??? If you imagine Facebook was an image gallery, it would be called Pinterest !! That's the way I see it. In the blog post will be a link to an Amazon affiliate product related to my article.

My blog is fairly new so there's not alot of visitors yet, but as a little test I opened up my Google analytics account and saw the real time visitor count was only about 11 or so - oh well :-) After I pinned the image about cutting down on junk food ONLY 4 people repinned it, ok so it was really low BUT those 4 people had alot of followers and they didn't LIKE or RE-PIN it but what they DID do was clik on the image and guess what? The image link takes you back to where it was originaly pinnned from and ofcourse I pinned it myself from my blog article so where do the Pinterest people end up? YEP on my blog post article, the original source. And one more thing, when someone RE-PINS your image, their followers know where they originally repinned it from and tend to also go to the original source. I then checked my analytics real time count and it had 13 more people ON my site, it also showed that they clicked through and read a few other articles and then left

mm well that's all I do, it sounds like a lot but it isn't really and its not confusing. I could have packaged that as a product but I didn't because sometimes i think info should be free .......... so there !!!

I just got scammed (idiot me ;-) by another site having 'stolen' jani's video. This was the link:
          pinyourincome
and the email was sent to me by a :
'Gary Mitchell' of PO Box 19762, Christchurch, Canterbury 8241, New Zealand (aweber account)

after the payment process they then bought up another page saying we had to fill in all our credit card details - so luckily that DID make me understand and I cancelled my credit card, pronto.

I've just spent the last 2 hours researching round this, payment processors and jani's 'legit' payment processor, and now this thread - and all in all I've come to the conclusion that this whole product including the payment processors are bad news.

It's also taught me the value of good old clickbank (and even paypal). Anyway, a lesson learned and just hope that I can reverse the credit card payments - I've taken screen shots of all the pages so should be no problem.

Hey, you just confirmed me right!
See, when I first saw Jani's promo, I was interested (even though the out-of-this-world revenue claims were already a yellow light for me) and listened to the end and clicked the Buy button.

But when I was taken to his order page and realized there was no way to pay through Paypal, I backed out. Why?

Because so far in IM, every single time I bought something direct (direct with credit card instead of through Clickbank or Pypal), I've had problems: product wasn't up to my expectations/vendor's claims, or simply un-subscribing was very difficult...

So I've made it my policy a while ago that I'd never buy anything related to IM by any other means than Paypal or Clickbank or something similar.

A few days after I dropped out of ordering, Jani wrote to me asking why I didn't follow through, and I told him it was because there was no Paypal button to buy.

He sent me a link to register for a seminar taking place tonight and he mentioned there would be a Paypal Button for payment after the seminar. Here is the link:

I blocked the time in my agenda, but reading here means if anything more important pops up tonight, I'll feel more comfortable missing it.

Thanks everyone for all this info.

Auto Pinterest Marketer looks good. Is it just the software or also information about seting up and using Pinterest?

I would strongly suggest if you are interested in marketing with Pinterest, try out the WSO Auto Pinterest Marketer instead of Pin Your Income. Also, Pinterest is constantly involving so what works today may not work tomorrow. I've had good luck by not being spammy (when I tried to post too many affiliate links my account got shut down) and now concentrating on posting with beautiful graphics, photos, etc. Pinterest is visual at its core so will work best with a cool graphic. It does drive lots of traffic, but be aware and it takes effort. Like anything else worthwhile.
