WP InstantPay, Payment Champ or any other?

Anyone use WP InstantPay, Payment Champ or any other self hosted instant pay affiliate set up?

Leaning towards Payment Champ... can also use for physical products, but WP InstantPay seems to be a great product as well.

Also wondering how the updates are coming on both... a lot of developers seem to roll out products like this and once the enthusiasm for the product has dwindled, updates and fixes stop.

Would appreciate some feedback from anyone using these - or any other.

While I'm at it... anyone still using Auction Acrobat or Disc Dojo?... wondering if they are being updated and still working.

Thanks,

Andrew

Funny, I have a friend who asked me about WP Instant Pay just the other day, I could not provide any answers to him, he want to know if the product was still functioning and was good to buy.. So I too would like to here back from anyone.

I have the same issue as commented by adaum - I have purchased many of these types of programs and tools from the forum and online in the last 5 years and 80% go down the toilet within six months, only those who are serious internet providers continually update their projects.. Being that WP Instant Pay has been out for around at least 18 months I was unable to help my friend out with his questions as its almost a coin flip..

    thanks

I've purchased both, and I refunded one of them.

The one I refunded was Payment Champ. It did everything it said it would... but there was not enough transparency. PC had to make calls to the PC site whenever someone made a purchase - and they had some references in the redirect page to sign up with them, etc.

Again, PC did what it said it would... but if I was going to use it I might as well use one of the affiliate payment splitting sites.

I kept WP Instantpay. Having an issue with it at the moment. Could be an error on my end, who knows. More to getting it set up initially than PC, but it's pretty straight forward if you've used PayPals api before. Once it's set up, everything happens on your site - no calls or references to their site - that the purchaser can see anyway. Think it's going to be pretty good.

The best would be a merge of the two products... as PC can be used with physical products also, whereas Instantpay is downloads only (without doing any mods).

Issue I'm having at the moment is once I click on the 'buy' button, I'm redirected right back to a page on my site... not redirected to Paypal to purchase. Not sure what's causing this but I'm confident it will be worked out.

Only challenge I really have at the moment (other than the above), is support questions - Ralph obviously lives somewhere where the time zones are flipped. When it's day here, it must be night there. So when I send him a question, he is in bed... when he answers my question, I'm in bed. Have to keep that in mind in the future... tough to finish a project the same day when having issues. For example... it's 4:20am in Greece - if that's where he is.
Nothing against Ralph, he's been great. It's a time zone thing.

That being said, if I can get this issue worked out with WP Instantpay everything will be good and it's the one I'll be using.

Well, being WP Instantpay has to integrate with x.com - and I've been waiting on them since the 18th to respond to an issue of connecting via the app api (even though I've been approved and it shows functional) - I may have made the wrong decision. Can't say anything bad about WP Instantpay, being I've not used it.

Kind of like buying a new Car and nowhere to buy gas. Nothing wrong with the car.

Ironic how these 1 or 2 day easy projects take more time than many large complex ones.
