ProductPay vs. JVZoo (Upsell function?)

I'd like some feedback on this. No holds barred please.

I'm particularly interested in how ProductPay does one click upsells with paypal - I thought that wasn't allowed....

Also I know that product pay does not without a copy of your leads which is HUGE.....

  • Shame no one has commented here yet.

But I can report that my experience with JvZoo has been excellent, up and running in no time at all and the additional features they have are really cool (such as refunding, communicating with affiliates etc.).

However, my Product Pay experience has been frustrating to say the least. Product not approved but no idea why (because they neither tell you nor do they list any guidelines).

My Product Pay support request receive a quick cryptic reply and had I not posted a ticket I would have been none the wiser because they just leave your product permanently on review.

Then as soon as they (Product Pay) reply they assume they have answered correctly and incorrectly close the ticket.

To summarise, JvZ00 are excellent and product Pay seem to forget they have competition which is why product pay will never be as successful as click bank, jvzoo, warrior plus etc.

    To answer your question..

    1. we do not do 1 click upsells anymore. paypal doesn't have them setup properly to be effective. but yes 1 click upsells are an option with paypal adaptive payments api, but just not effective for the vendor, so we stopped using that as an option for vendors.

    2. yes that is correct that we do not solicit your buyers leads from your sales..

Now to address the 2nd post...

We are a little more picky about our product approval than JV Zoo.

    We manually approve all products..

Products must have a productpay button on them prior to approval..

You cannot post any PLR products for sale on ProductPay.com..

You must post the actual page your offer is going to be on..

You cannot use a squeeze page as your sales page..

We actually check products one time per hour or two and we do respond back through our internal email system and email the vendors who have posted a product for review to let them know what they need to do to get the product approved.

Also on our tickets, the reply is made with my personal email attached, so vendors can then just email me directly rather than replying to tickets back and forth..and i do erase those tickets after i reply to them

JV Zoo and ProductPay are very similar in a lot of areas and I will say that JV Zoo has adopted some of our features and vice versa but I think the main diference is probably that we cater a little more to each vendor since we have a much smaller volume of offers than JV Zoo..

Also a big % of our offers do 100k or more. In the end it all depends on personal preference. We are happy just doing a small volume of quality vendors rather than letting anyone post any type of offer..

I think the 3 features I really like for ProductPay are..

    1. split payments for up to six people..this way you aren't manually sending money to any of your partners

    2. instant funnel connection- once you setup your front end and upsells, our system automatically chains your funnel together. you don't even need to add any no thank you buttons to any pages, the system does it for you automatically

    3. you keep your leads for yourself

    Hope this helps
