Urgent :ListDotCom Downgrade Issue!!!

How Lame is this?

I paid $197 for this thing 2 years ago,it was one of my first (and still worst) purchases ever, however, I got some benefits from the diamond members bonuses, especially the power link generator script, I used it on my sites.


I logged in today in the member's area, to find that all of a sudden, my Diamond account turned to be a basic one, I surfed around to find where the mistake is, and reached the support page, where I found this nice note at the bottom :

"NOTE: The ListDotCom Diamond Promotion is no longer available.

If you were promised a Diamond membership as a result of purchasing one of Mike Filsaime's products or you feel your account Diamond membership
was taken away in error, please submit a ticket with your payment reciept of the purchase you made that included the Diamond membership"


How funny is this?


Downgrading the account of a paid customer without any notice?

and furthermore, he is requesting the customers to submit their receipts to retain their upgraded status! what a joke?!! he knows he has 2+ years customers who purchased this thing, now he is expecting me to keep the receipt that long? is this a normal behaviour???

I submitted a support ticket, to see what their response will be, and actually I'm planning this time to get him down if I don't get my access back, if it takes me to the court! really!!

But this is not the problem here, is it acceptable from a claimed big marketer to behave like this towards his customers? any opinions??

    This seems weird, why would he take away people's Diamond membership if they have paid for it?

    While I haven't used my Diamond account for some time, I just found that my diamond membership has been downgraded to Basic.

    Hey guys,

    Paid members were not to be downgraded. We were afraid some members would so we put the note to go to the helpdesk to get re upgraded if you paid.

    The issue is, there were some promotion codes that maded it out to so "warez" forum as well as torrent sites and many black hat forums.

    i.e. - promotion codes given to members of high ticket items that got this as a bonus.

    We had found that hundreds of people created 20 to 50 accounts where they could mail 5000 members a day. They then created scripts to login to send millions of emails per month and exploit our system.

    We did out best to find these accounts but the more we did the more they came back.

    It made it near impossible for real members like you to get any mail out. It would take days to weeks to get your in the queue and many times it would crash the server.

    We had no choice but to cancel the accounts that used promo codes but we had no way of knowing prior to when you went to clickbank from paypal who paid or who used a promo code.

    We had to shut down the account and ask people to go to the helpdesk to be upgarded again if this was an error. Hacks would not go to the desk.

    You do not have to have your receipt. We have told the help desk team to just upgrade the people that request it.

    I hope you understand. This was done to make your service better and remove the hundreds and hundreds of hacks that were killing our server.

    Please email me at mikefilsaime at gmail if you want to me speed this up with your email address you use to login.

    I ask PLEASE that you rename the tags on this thread and the subject of this thread. This will be indexed in Google and I do think it is fair for you to label me as a SCAM before you heard this explanation. That is simply not fair to leave it like this.

    If you choose to leave the scam post, so be it. Also, if you would like a refund, even
    2 years later, simply let me know. I do not want your money if you are still unhappy.

    I will admit, the tech guys on my team did a poor Job with the explanation when you logged in and I will have that changed now.

      Hi Mike,

      I've changed the title only because of your respect to reply, but that doesn't mean I'm satisfied yet with the service.

      Personally, I respect you, But the problem is, I don't get much trouble with products/services I purchase like I get with yours, it makes me sad but the truth is, you as a big name marketer need to reconsider many things about your support team and after-sale follow up and services,

      and yes, I'm actually wasn't and will never be satisfied with ListDotCom, and I asked before for a refund without success, I appreciate your offer for a refund after 2 years, and I'll request it, not for the sake of the money, because I'll simply spend this same money on one of your products, I'll ask for a refund only to make a point, to make a proof (for myself first) and for all members here that you're still the same marketer who deserve trust and respect.

      I'll pm you my listdotcom email as well as my paypal email, and I'll wait to see how your promise for a refund will go, and if it happened to your promise, I'll announce it loudly right here.

      Any idea when and if ListDotCom will be back up? I was given a promo code for Diamond membership when joining one of Darren Olander's sites years ago, and was getting some pretty good results from LDC. I'm looking forward to using it again soon.

        Did you go to Mike's help desk as he requested to submit a ticket to answer this for you?

        Last time I checked, the Warrior Forum isn't actually Mike's help desk.

      Wondering why listdotcom is in maintenance mode for the past 3-4 month?

      Kind of sucks when you pay for a lifetime diamond membership and they close the site without any notice...

      Also my account was close at another one of Mike Site where I also purchase a lifetime account (Mike Filsaime - Free Advertising Blog)

      For sure I'll think twice before paying Mr. Filsaime $197 for any kind of lifetime account in the future.

      At least he should have email the members to let them know why the site is in maintenance or why they cancel your info from the database.

      Saw another thread about listdotcom maintenance mode but the thread is now close for new comments? Weird....
