Where Can I Find Music For My Background

Hey people,

Do you guys know where I can find a good website to get free unlicensed music, so I can use for my podcast and video background?

Besides I am wondering, if I use a small portion from a well known music, if the police will come knocking at my door and arrest me lol? thanks

Take Care,
JBarros

The police probably won't come but there is always the possibility of getting a cease and desist letter telling you that you must stop using their intellectual property.
I found a decent site for background music. Its not free but really cheap and 99 cents per track you really can't beat if for royalty free music.

I am a music producer and I can license some of my music to you for cheap as long as you give me credit. Look up Adult Content on soundcloud or google Adult Content music.
    PM me if you're interested.

Personally, I would just go on Google and type in "unlicense music" or "public domain music". There are actually a great deal of music and soundtracks out there if you just do a little research.

Plus, I'm pretty sure you won't have to worry about the Feds banging down your door for simply using a license song as a background song in your videos. There's millions of videos on Youtube doing that right now. The worse that'll happen is a possible message asking you to take down your video. To play it safe, public domain music is always up for grabs: classical music is a good example.

Classical music is performed by people, who have rights on the version of the music they produced.

  • Do not use any music from another artist or company without permission. Period! Anyone that gets away with it, is simply doing just that, "getting away with it". It's best to use Music from a source that legally grants you permission to do so.

Obviously we offer such products, and if you are War Room member we offer some samples, however neither of these two suggestions are free.

I cannot answer your question on where you can find music for your background, but would like to offer some advise.

Why not get someone to produce something for you. I know this may cost you some initial financial layout, but if you own full rights to the background music, you will increase the value of your website so much more should you decide to sell the website one day.

It is these little things that always catch the attention of serious investors.

Jewelbeat is pretty good, and the previews don't have the usual ip protection name or preview spoken over the soundtrack so you can actually hear the music and match it to your visualisation well. and for 99c you cant go wrong.
