Adam Horowitz's "Mobinar" (Mobile Monopoly 2.0)?!

by rbowen
27 replies
Anybody bought, used and have an opinion about his latest & greatest product .. which I noticed he did not launched on the WF? (Damn those nasty feedback posts. )

My concern is, after buying his Mobile Monopoly 1.0, that vsn. 2.0 will also be "a mile wide and an inch deep" ... without much of a support staff to add the depth of knowledge you - or at least I (a non-technical mobile-newbie) needed to pull it off. And being broke (still), I can't really afford to risk any more money.

Besides, how do 100s or 1,000s of us make any money promoting the same clickbank product using the same traffic sources?!

Wonder if he'd give me a review copy?!

BTW, there must something more that he hits you up for, after you pop for the $47 one-off price, right?

Oh, and does anyone know how much he spent to generate all the traffic that resulted in (what?) a $100+/day?

Or for that matter, what his refund rate might have been - since these are, after all, sold through "buy & refund" ClickBank!?!

Thanks,
Richard

PS Don't get me wrong: Adam seems like a brilliant kid who has forgotten more than I know - or ever will know - about mobile & making money. It's just that I'm concerned that his program (the product & his support) might not be adequate to support a lot of folks who don't know that much about this kind of thing, IMO. Hope I'm wrong ... just thought I'd ask the Warrior Nation for their collective opinion.

I agree Richard, I am still skeptical of mobile affiliate/CPA success. I still haven't read on here where anyone is making any real money with it.

With regards to this program, I don't see how anyone can make any real money without paid advertising. As you said, Adam gives you 2 or three templates and talks about a free traffic source, so everyone will be competing with that. It's more like he is giving you a couple of fish rather than teaching you to fish here.

But hey, as you said, there is always the refund option with Clickbank. I may buy it and see if I learn anything. If so, I will post a review.

I wonder about some of these things also. I didn't buy this either because I would like to see some reviews too but just so everybody knows, when I clicked off the page there was a $40 discount offer.

I like the general look of this product, I have some similar concerns as mentioned above..

Surely the method/campaigns will get saturated if and when the thousands of people that purchased start using the same instagram or paid mobile traffic to the same landing pages and 'mobinars'.

Adam is ethical marketer running a legit business...he wants to help his customers I believe however at the end of the day this is another clickbank launch with all of his JV partners sending traffic that he will eventually reciprocate to his list from this product - meaning inevitable upsells!

I might try it with the $20 click away discount.

Would love to hear some reviews here and I will be back with mine if I decide to get this.

Well, IMO one of the selling points is that the software can capture the email leads straight to your aweber account similar to version 1.

Version one came out when I was a rookie, so I didn't capture emails, rather just take the $1.40 per lead for CPA.

I wish I would have built a list, so no doubt I will be with version two.

Did version 1 make me money? Yes. You needed to load you admob account with $50 but on my first attempt I netted something over $200 profit.

Version 2 comes with 3 pre done webinars I believe with an upswell for more. You can also use your own webinars.

It doesn't officially launch until tomorrow, when I will come back with my full review, but I'm looking forward to it.

Do you continue to make money with Mobile Monopoly?

BTW, it looks like you can buy the new version now.

      Thanks.

There is a youtube video in which Adam Horwitz provides a tour of the Mobile Monopoly 2.0 members area here:

Yes, it appears to be about mobile squeeze pages tied to mobile webinars or "mobinars" as he describes it.

Looks like the internet marketers promoting things are starting to promote it now, so the flood of emails should be hitting your inbox soon, and those affiliate commissions should start flowing.

I love it so far, but what I will say is this -

In my opinion to get the most out of the software you will need to purchase the unlimited software licence upsell which is $147 I believe and I think there may have been a downsell.

With the unlimited version, you get unlimited webinars, squeeze pages, campaigns etc where as the basic is limited, so I opted to get the up sells so as I can use it to its full potential.

That's just my opinion though, many of you may be happy with the basic software.

I just finished writing a review for an affiliate of Adam's new product and my research included buying the product so I could see the inside of the training and software before writing my review and I must say it was impressive. Very professionally done. There is a lot of great information in "all things mobile" including local mobile marketing, and creating mobile apps is also included. I was really surprised at the depth of information. What I really liked was that the training and other sections contain not just video but also pdfs too which is my favorite information format.

      Laura;

Thanks for the info, couple of questions if you don't mind.

If you have done reviews like this before, did you learn any thing new that valuable?

Do you think someone can truly make money with Adam's new product?

You said you wrote the review for an affiliate. Doesn't that inherently skew your review towards the postive?

Is the "great information" that you mention here included in the initial purchase or do we have to purchase the upsells in order to learn about creating mobile apps and local mobile marketing?

Oh, he's advertising it here. See the image I've attached.

EDIT: I guess it is one of his affiliates that is running the banner.

Hi Lance, I am sorry to let others know this, but he of course hasn't advertised it here, it's just an affiliate as you can see when you click it through and look up you will see it says affiliate=xxx

He wouldn't bother trying to make money that way he'd much rather let his huge stream of affiliates do it for him.

I imagine you were just kidding though being as experienced as you are, nothing like that would fool you LOL.

Good point. To be honest I never even looked.

I just clicked on the banner ad to see how they were going to prove the claim in the banner and noticed it was for MM 2.0. I noticed that the video never really meshed with the claim in the banner, but didn't check to see if it was an affiliate link before I left.

Oh right I thought you were just saying it tongue in cheek. Well I saw the post where Michael and yourself were discussing about maybe you've both gone senile LOL (only kidding of course).

I guess i've been around the block too long with the clickbank affiliate world that I always look out for that kind of thing.

What would be interesting is if that ad was still there tomorrow. If it is then you know it's either done nicely or the guy's hoping it's a one off.

Either way there's no way Adam would waste his time on putting up a banner ad in this forum. A lot of his hard work has already been done pre launch, now he can enjoy the money rolling in.

Johninmn - Yes, I learned plenty of new things about methods of making money in the mobile market that I did not know before buying Adam's product. Will you? That is hard to say as I don't know what you do and don't know. Was what I learned valuable to me? Yes, I have definitely found some "golden nuggets" that I am taking action on today.

Whether or not I or anyone else can make money following what Adam is teaching in Mobile Monopoly 2.0 is yet to be seen I don't have a crystal ball. What I can tell you is the content inside the product is genuine and professionally presented.

I write my reviews based on research unlike some other writers who will write a positive review just because they are receiving money to write one and want to please the client or because they have copied what is out there already. I usually include pros and cons in each review as well as to discuss what I think about how the product is presented, if there is fluff in it, and of course if I write a review on a product I have had for a while I may also say whether or not my results were what the owner said they could be. I just don't write a positive review on all my client's orders. If something is crap that is what my review will say. If my client doesn't like it and refuses to pay then so be it.

@Joyfulwraps, Very well said. It seems that you're one of those honest product reviewers. I would like to read soon your review.
One question though, can mobile monopoly 2 applicable to asian countries? Forgive me for a dumb question. I have a list of people in a particular asian country.

    Could they benefit from it?

[QUOTE=rbowen;6864432] And being broke (still), I can't really afford to risk any more money.

If you are broke as you state then buying this product does not make any sense to you... why? Because it's about paid traffic, investing money into ad networks etc...there must have some learning curve before you make any money or you may get lucky and make money out of your 1rst campaign.... but still you spend money...

I did the same mistake back in 2009 when a guy which I don't remember his name released a product about making money off mobile but he never mentioned that we had to spend money in order to get started.... once I watched the 1rst video where he said I had to open an account at admob or something else and deposit $50 to get started... I was disappointed...

So if you don't have money or don't plan to invest some money... there is no need to buy this product....

At least that's what I think... and I did not buy the course... but I'm sure it's great.

    Thanks.

PS: I'm sur there is some modules in his product that mention how to make money off local clients so maybe there is no need to have money to get started....

PPS: Mobinar I think is the same as webinar but you just capture people's contact through mobile...

    Hi Warriors,

    I finally jumped in.

The process seems to me a little over complicated with many upsells and downsells (from start to finish, it took me 6 jumps !).

I finally took access to all of the downsells.

I must say that I never had access to Mobile Monopoly V1, so I discovered what is inside in V2 but cannot compare.

I really like what I have accessed covering many topics from free to paid traffic, apps, mobinars, all being from a mobile point of view , which is what I am interested in.

I have purchased, I am not an affiliate and it is the first product that I access from Adam Horwitz, so my quick review should not be biased.

Up to now, I have no regret to have accessed it and feel that I have good information for what I have bought (at least with the "downsell" path). There is one membership for all the training, well organised and covering lots of topics. The second membership is for the software (if you take this option), which seems quite "point and click" (I tested only a small part yet)

I think that the video posted by TrafficBot on post #6 pretty well covers what you get access to.

I hope it helps making your own choice.

    To your success,

One thing you need to consider with Mobile Marketing is that it requires you to actually leave your computer and talk to people. You have to ask yourself is this an online or offline opportunity. Most of the folks on here are looking for "get rich quick" online opportunities.

One of the primary reasons Mobile is such a huge opportunity right now is simply because there are not enough people in the field presenting it's benefits to businesses. Don't waste you time or money if you have no people skills are aren't prepared to get up each morning and go to work.

      Hey Richard,

I've been playing around with MM 2.0 for about 2 weeks now and I'm pulling in any where from $20-$65 a day with little work with just one of the methods listed in the system. I'm not trying to sell anything here, just stating my results lol

I've been promoting CPA offers via Instagram and getting some quick cash to start and try out the method, but I think the next step will be making my OWN squeeze pages to KEEP the emails people are submitting to market Clickbank products to them via email later. I'll keep you updated!

I actually bought MM 2.0. It's a nice product. However, I tried the strategies they show to generate CPA income and they don't work. The squeeze page builder works but has a few bugs.

Also, please keep in mind that Admob doesn't allow squeeze pages any more. I use adfonic.
