Can Anyone Recommend Me A Good Wordpress Site Designer?

Hi Guys,

Basically, I am going to be redesigning my site within the next 2 weeks or so and I want a nice custom design.

I have it very well planned out so just need someone to turn my vision of my site into reality.

I am currently running Thesis and most likely would like the design to be built on this framework.

Can anyone give me any recommendations of anyone who does good Wordpress Designs?

Cheers,

Kenneth

As you own thesis I would go to the thesis forums as that's where the most suitable candidate will be lurking.

To get the best results ask to see a portfolio and write down all of the things you want the design to have. If you want to add in an opt-in form does the designer know how to do this?

Make sure they know where you want the banners to monetize the site, and tell them what plugins you plan on using and how they will make the site look.

This probably won't be the cheapest option, but you stand a better chance of getting the result you want.

themeforest.net have thousands of excellent WP themes/templates.

I would suggest going for a Responsive theme/template, this is one that adapts/responds to all sizes of screen, from mobile up to huge widescreen.

One you have a suitable theme, then I'd get a designer or photographer to do some custom work for header or sliders.

I have to agree, I use themeforest for my business too and modify themes for clients needs.

Here are a couple Thesis Child Themes for you to take a look at if you want to stick with that framework. Maybe one of them will get you close to what you're looking for.

Check out freelancers on oDesk and Elance. You will find very good web developers there.
