Is "Tweet Adder" worth it?

Do you want my opinion?

There is no Twitter bot that's worth a damn.

Why? Because, no matter how many followers you gain from any of these softwares or bots, they're still untargeted and completely random traffic. I would much rather have 10 people on my list that are targeted that I can sell things to, rather than 100,000 non-targeted random followers.

TBF, you can actually follow people who follow people in your niche, who follow people that follow those people. So it is VERY targeted. Not that I do it.

GhostWriting has no idea what he's talking about.

You would be AMAZED how much you can target Twitter users. I've been marketing on Twitter for almost 3 years now - maybe even a bit longer than 3 years.

No matter what anybody tells you, software or tools can only do what YOU set them up to do.

So instead of blaming the software for piss-poor results, how about you assume some responsibility & take the blame.... Because YOU are the person who sets it up.

Anyway - there are better alternatives than Tweet Adder.

I use Tweet Demon (link is in my sig)

Its a full TweetAttacks Pro & Account Creator clone, plus has some features that TweetAttacks didn't have.

Heres an example:

Lets say you want to promote a CPA offer for a PS3, but that offer only accepts leads from people who live within 50 miles of Miami, Florida

You can set up your search parameters to ONLY target users who tweet about they keyword "PS3" or "PlayStation 3" or whatever you want - AND ONLY users who live within a 50 mile radius of Miami.

Your search terms for this example would be:

PS3 near:"miami" within:50mi

And that is just ONE of the things you can do to target on Twitter.

Go try it on twitter yourself if you don't believe me. Just type that string into the search bar & see what happens.

Then come back & tell me how "useless" it is, GhostWriting - I'll be waiting.

Like I said - If YOU are following bots, thats your own fault.

There are millions of ways to target REAL users on Twitter.

The way I do things, I ignore people who don't have a photo.

I ignore people who have a link on their latest tweet.

This helps to make sure you aren't following bots. Duh.

You can target by geographical location, you can target users who mention certain accounts, I mean the list goes ON & ON & ON.

Go take a look at Twitter's advanced search & see all the ways you can target for yourself.

Yep, that seems logical and called for. If you want to attack my personal services, do it in a PM rather than doing it in here which adds absolutely no contribution or value to the forum.

To the OP: You're FAR better off manually building up a list of targeted followers that will be FAR more inclined to purchase something whether that be through an affiliate link or your own product.

I tried to give some insight to the OP about what the benefits of targeted Twitter followers were, but since you "conveniently" have Twitter related signature links, of course you came in being aggressive and defensive.

IMO these tweet adding software options and bots are pretty rubbish - they just don't get targeted, real followers.

Of course if you just want to be able to boast that you have thousands of followers, then that's fine.

Thanks Joseph, but thats the guy who made Tweet Attacks. However, I wouldn't exactly call myself a "friend" of him anymore - not after how he lied to me last year.

After working with him for so long, you would think he would have let me know what was happening - even if he didn't plan on telling anyone else what was going on.

Tweet Demon (what I was talking about in my first post in this thread) is made by a different person.

But anyway yes - all of you - feel free to search the forum & see just how "useless" and "untargeted" Twitter traffic is! lolllll

Like I said before, the ways you can target users on there is insane. Just check their advanced search page & see all the different ways you can target users for yourselves!

I'm not saying to take my word for it - I'm just offering my opinion on the subject, after doing this sort of marketing for so long.

If you're having success with it you should just keep quiet. The less people that know about it the better.

I'm thinking of trying Tweet Adder to build followers. In my opinion it's the exact same as hiring an employee to do it for you.

But I'm not going to spam offers, just send out Tweets like I normally do on my account.

People use software to automate Tweets, set up 6 in the morning and have them go out at separate times during the day, and this software is no different.

Obviously there will be people who abuse this.

Twitter followers can be targeted even with or without a software. The whole purpose of any kind of software is to speed up the job that you usually do 'intelligently' and get the result you want as quickly as possible. Twitter for example: All you need to do is follow the person who has a larger followers and follow those people who are following that person who are in the same niche you are in. They are more inclined to follow you too if they share the same interest as you.

This thread is funny, like a bunch of squabbling kids.

Just to be clear on this matter and to help the OP.

You CAN target followers, down to area, keyword and language levels quite easily. You just need to know how Twitter works. The guys who are buying 10k of robot friends are NOT doing it right, and this is giving Twitter marketing a bad name. I have been marketing on Twitter for a few years as well, and when its done right it can drive targeted traffic to any webpage or offer you choose.

For example, I could easily search for all the English speaking people right now wanting to "lose weight" in New York, or I could search for all the people wanting to "buy a new TV" in Texas. You can follow these people or send them a DM etc quite easily using Twitter's advanced search. Automation just makes the job a lot easier. As long as you don't spam people and offer them real opportunities, they will be interested. You can also build lists using Twitter traffic quite easily using these methods. Its a huge source of Traffic that is often misunderstood, so to anyone wondering whether you can make money of it, the answer is yes you can.

I own Tweet Adder and it's got a lot of features that would entice you to purchase it although for my purposes I find it very slow to add followers after you have targeted what type of people you want to follow.

I also owned Tweet Attacks and I would say that was one of the fastest twitter bots ever made. It actually worked the way it was supposed to. Tweet Adder has a much better interface than Tweet Attacks had though. A shame they had to shutdown operations especially after they promised all existing customers it would continue to work for them.

To be perfectly honest I don't even use Tweet Adder anymore, if you want to just build your twitter account followers there are plenty of social exchange services where you can build up your follower count see twiends for example. I don't want to say Tweet Adder is bad but if you don't want to spend the money right now there are other free options available.

I've had good luck with Tweet Adder. Choose your targets carefully and make sure you don't get overly aggressive in following people.

Works well. I was able to build up a list of 3000 or so followers fairly quickly.

There's actually a 2014 guide to Tweet Adder. The one from income diary is out of date.

I have recently got my refund from Tweet Adder.

The latest version is really not worth buying.

The Twitter API has ruined teh performance of this piece of software.

You can not follow or unfollow more than 100 people on a single day even with manual version of the version 4.0

The DM can not go with automation if it has any link in it.

It is simply a waste of time using this software.

Do not waste your money on it till the time theerrors of API are removed.
