Any Reviews on David Eisner's Solo Ad Rolodex?

Hi Guys..

My inbox is filling up with Offers for David Eisner's Solo Ad Rolodex. Any Feedback/Reviews on this?? Don't want to buy if it's not worth it..

(right now it's at $10.50)

    I picked it up; it's 2 spreadsheets, each one saved in 3 file formats (.xls, .xlsx, and .ods), listing name & contact info, and very little else. There's an IM list, and a non IM.

    The non-IM list is for the most part just URL's for the advertising page of various sites (USAToday, Drudge Report...).

    The IM lists have a "Featured Vendor" group of 10 names on top, at least some of which are trackable to Eisner, I assume for an affiliate cut.

    Below that is appx. 100 names of what seem to be mostly 2nd and 3rd tier marketers - seemingly anyone with a list who will do solo ads.

    There's nothing in the way of details, ratings, size, etc., just lists of names & URL's. He does say he "may not" have actually used all of these, but I would have assumed that anyway.

    The spreadsheets themselves are pretty sloppy, with run-on columns, and a hard-to-look-at mix of colors and font sizes.

    It's essentially a bare list of IM solo ad listings, and non-IM general advertising listings.

    For me, it's worth the 10 bucks just to have someone aggregate the name & URL of 100 solo ad lists. I'm satisfied with it, though I don't think I'd be feeling that way if I purchased because I bought into the sales page.

    Thanks so much Michael, for your input. It does sound slightly disappointing, especially because I'm interested in the non-im list, but doesn't sound like there is much of a list for that.

    I'm not one to judge, since I don't have it, but, guess if one of the listings on the list turns a profit - it's worth it. Hope it does well for you (and others). Maybe I'll buy.. will think about it some more.

      If you want to use Solo Ads, it is important to know where to buy it. Solo Ads are mainly used for building a list (which you ALWAYS should do). In average you pay $0.30 - $ 0,40 per click so it is very important the provider has a good list to send your solo ad to. It is not cheap to do this, the minimum for a test is to buy 200 clicks and see how it converts. A major factor here also is how good your solo ad is and how good your squeeze page and free report are. At a conversion rate of 2% you would get 4 people to your list, so you pay around $75 for 4 signups, and you hope they will be buyers. Some solo ad sellers have a much higher conversion rate, but my point is: to build a list this way you need a substantial monthly budget, you need to test it and you need to monitor what it get's you in results. Of course the minimum result always should be to get break-even.

      Thanks mate appreciate the mention. I guess the main difference is that these are all tested and tried out, with the number of buyers tracked so you can actually see where the best traffic is coming from.
