Do all WSO's that involve software have sucky tech support?

Am I the only lucky one here that the last 3 WSO's I bought that involved software have sucky tech support? Is this jerking people around common place till you get past your 30 day no refund point? Actually I've bought 4, but haven't had time to install that one yet. (oh joy!)

Feel sorry for your bad feeling, not every software sellers have a bad service such you claim. Many of them still have an increasing of customer number.

I'm suggest before you buy any kind of service or software, you should checking for their agreement service first. And if they have some testimonial please read carefully. You google about that software. Is any complain on the internet.

Surely, you should asking seller some serious before place an order.
This can prove some about service mind of seller.

Hope you have a great service and software in the future.

Always install software after you buy. This needs to be checked, it is something you really want and does it what it says. Then you have the option for a refund (if the seller includes that) and use support if you need to. You never have a guarantee that sellers really support their product(s), and that includes updates. Some people just want to make money from $7 WSO's. I never buy a WSO straight after it is released, if you wait a day or 2 you can check their thread and see what people post there. If there is a lot of negativity, don't buy it. It is more expensive if it is on a dimesale, when you don't immediately buy, but at least you can check out some things before you buy. Also, on the day of the launch, sellers are very busy with the sales process and maybe eliminating bugs found by buyers, so they don't have much time for support. And if products are in high demand after launch, sometimes there are problems with the delivery servers, and people start to complain they did not get their login etcetera. That rarely happens the day after the launch.

Many people just buy WSO's all the time and never do anything with it. They are in the buyer mood, in stead of what they should be: in the earner mood.

Have you ever considered that the problem could be you?

    And no, I'm not kidding.

If there are pages of people saying they love the product, but you can never seem to get the software working... it could that it's not the software that's the problem, but you.

I'm not a complete techtard. If you follow the threads for the products I'm having problems with you would see that I am not the only one having problems. What was promised is not being delivered.

Now it was mentioned earlier that I should read the reviews of the WSO. Well from what I can tell, it is rare that anyone posts an honest negative review. The lack of negative reviews does not insure a good product. And negative reviews tend to get deleted, or buried by shills glowing about the product to push your negative comment back in the page count.
There is no quality standard here either for the material or the backend support. I take it if you pay your fee you can post a WSO. There is no vetting process.

When I do purchase I try to buy from established sellers, but that hasn't helped.

I will say that I have purchased a few good informational products here.

What you say goes pretty much for anything you buy on the internet. All reviews you find on Google are biased, since 99% is written copy by the seller and/or posted by affiliates. In the WSO posts you can find many people asking questions/reporting bugs/having problems with support. That is an indicator. And there is no guarantee for any product you buy, that it will actualy deliver what they say or you expect. That is why you have to install the products you buy immediately, or if it is info product go through them. At least that way you can use the refund option if it is provided.

Wagsgraphx - sadly, their are "less honourable marketers" around who, knowing that "software sells", are drawn to make some crappy software and then spend a ton on the sales page :-| - but spend little on support or software development/bug fixes.

This is by no means invariably the case: but it does happen.

Also, there are some who make some software with all good intentions to support it (probably themselves), then "life happens" - maybe some family emergency - and they go AWOL. I've seen that a few times.

The truth is, if you buy new software (and especially if it's sold as "beta software - that's why it's such a low price!!!" **red flag**) which you can't find good reviews of, you are taking a risk.

At least buying on Warrior you can check out someone's reputation by looking at their old threads and suss them out a bit.

Also, you have the safeguard with a WSO that if a product is sh*t, someone - or some people - are gonna call them out on the sales thread: so you can check carefully through all the comments and the person's responses.

So, the old adage: "if it smells like a skunk, it's probably a skunk..." is true here.

In this case: "if no-one's heard of it, if it's brand new, if it's "beta", if you do a search on the marketer's threads on Warrior and find they are not very good at answering queries - or even worse people have been complaining about support for other product launches"..... then you should probably walk on by.

There is some good software out there which is cheap, good, useful and well-supported (not much, but some) but you really need to do your due diligence. And, probably: "if in doubt, don't".

You could always post on Warrior saying what job you want done (by the software you are considering) and asking for suggestions. And, as always, don't be too keen to accept everything everyone says when you get answers: again, do your due diligence on that advice too!

BTW it is VERY annoying when you don't get good support for software, so I sympathize :-|

          Cheers mate

My experience with buying software and tech support re WSO's is not good. In fact I avoid software WSO's completely....too much time/money wasting

Support is generally not interested or even available after the hype has died down and the bugs start appearing.

Often the software is not fully tested or even fully operational. What happens is you install it, then get an update to re-install it..it breaks down...you email support...they respond...if you are lucky.

You go through learning how to use it...it then breaks down. You call support...where are they?

It becomes an absolute and complete waste of time in the majority of cases.

Unfortunately the worst offenders are often the better connected ones.

Thats my experience and the experience of others I know.

Common sense is a good guide. If you buy software that costs $7, you have to ask yourself how they plan on hiring a good support team to respond to your questions or even update the software. If good support is what you're after, you might want to consider paying a monthly fee. A company with consistent cashflow can afford to provide ongoing support.
