It was "gone in 60 seconds"..

The video he did was very compelling, I was actually interested in the traffic secrets more than anything else.

I actually tried one of the ones he mentioned in the video, it had a major flaw in it that he didn't mention, would love to see the whole technique.

no, but I did set up a micro continuity site right after watching the free video, it was already sold out by the time I got to it, I just wanted to purchase it mainly for the traffic secrets

Funny - my deal too - the traffic secrets he sold with it looked amazing - the ability to just show your outsourced workers all the videos he's already set up for you to train them...wow -

Russell - if you get over to da WF to see this - do you offer up your Traffic Secrets or 'could' you again for limited time offer again????

There are other products on the market that do that and are sold as stand alones.

          Any Suggestions??? =)

Traffic is saturated with offers and has many angles.

I was interested in this program and I too agreed to pay the 9.95 for the mp3 player with the content. It has been 2 weeks and I have still not received it. So i have decided to cancel before the FREE 2 week training is up and I get billed...however I have made 2 attempts to cancel via the online support desk ( no answer) and have called the supposed customer support line twice to cancel and make sure I am not billed but all you get is a voicemail telling you they are busy or its after hours and I have yet to hear from anyone.

For someone who makes customer support such a big element of importance I'd have to say that his customer support system lacks confidence. If anyone has successfully cancelled any of his programs I'd like to know. I understand that some of these guys try to keep costs down by using help desks and recordings but everyother "Major" Guru I have ever dealt with certainly provided better response that Brunson's.

    Russell Rocks!

My client is going through the Micro-Continuity Workshop so I get to sit in on all of the sessions. It is by far the most incredible marketing model that I've ever seen. While a lot of us are spinning our wheels with getting visitors to sign up for a special report, Russell focuses on qualifying those visitors that actually have credit cards.

We're already seeing immediate results by implementing just 1 of his techniques.

I disagree with everyone here. It seems like most of these guys who "review" have vested interest with Russell.

I paid $3,000 for the course (it didn't even come with a guarantee of any kind!) because I trusted in Russel's "reputation" but it was total waste of money. What ticked me off more was that he re-released the "7" spots again immediately after and priced it at $2400 (showing how he cares crap about the earlier customer who paid $3,000) The "12 week" course turned out to be cut short because Mr. Brunson changed plans in between and then to make matters worse the "traffic systems" parts are not only too short and non-detailed but also in some videos the narrator is dumb enough to say "you will make $xx" easily with this system by doing this" now why would I give this video to an outsourced worker if they know how much money the work they are doing is yielding? It's insane they didn't edit it out.

Not sure about you guys, but if I'm paying $3,000 I expect to get a lot more than some quickly thrown together program that is out to make the creator quick cash from a seminar pitch.

I'll never purchase anything from Russell again after this mess. Totally unethical marketing where he did not fulfill his promises and cut the program short. Avoid.

Sorry to hear that - it doesn't sound like Russell would put a crappy product in the marketplace... but I guess it's possible.

Can you take what you've learned and create a site that will earn you your money back? If not, I'd be happy to buy the course from you. Thanks for posting. ~Bill

I have had three unfortunate experiences with Brunson products. I did get the MC MP3 player and listened to it. It was pretty interesting, but it's much the same information as a great deal of what you see out there for less. BTW, those three unfortunate experiences are the only experiences I have had. He's a smart marketer, but the only real success I've had with his programs is successfully spending too much money. The best success I've had so far has been with Michael Brown and Steve Yakim.

Can you explain what you mean by:
      1. Qualify visiotrs what actually have credit cards?
      What exactly does that mean?

What that means is this - the offer of a FREE CD or FREE ??? is - you use this type of script:

"I'll give this to you for free...all YOU need to do is just cover the shipping and handling"

So when the visitor then has to pull out their credit card -they then 'psychologically ' transitioned to buying from you - a qualified visitor -

and you present OTO's to him/her and your conversions increase dramatically vs offering totally free a virtual product...and then give them OTO's or emails to them selling something....

        Make sense?

I actually did get hold of this, one of my partners had purchased , he's working on a program using Russels techniques, but I have to say :

    a) The traffic systems are ok - but not great, solid but nothing world beating and all pretty much known outside of this system. Many of them are not actually finished and theres a tendancy to kind of jump over some quite crucial parts . This isn't the case in all, some are done well but at this kind of price bracket, content needs to be A1.

    b) The course was cut short pretty dramatically, the forum is ok, but the support isn't fantastic, and if you think you have any chance of speaking to Russel , forget it.

    c) Some of the stuff such as " we set up your site for you etc", is a exageration, nobody actually does this stuff for you, it's more a case of poetic licence in that they give you all the information to help you set it up yourself.

I'm not dissapointed as such, and the basic principle of micro continuity the free CD etc is solid, it's just that overall it's not quite lived up the price tag.

That said, we are going ahead and working on a site as I speak, if nothing else it gives you the impetus to keep moving with the project but it's not the product I had initialy hoped for.

    7.3/10 - Could do better.

No problem and I don't want to put you off because Russel's principles, MC as a concept is excellent, and you will learn a lot from the MC course, I just think with a little extra effort, tidying the videos, more direct coaching etc it could have moved from "good" to "excellent".

But overall a solid product, right up with the best, just needed a little more polish for my liking.

    Hey Guys -

Thanks for the comments both good and bad. They always help us improve.

To address the negative ones - here are a few things:

1st - I hadn't realized anyone felt we cut the trainings short. We added 4 webinars more then what we promised when we sold it and added a 1 day event which a bunch of you guys came to. We had actually went quite a few weeks further then we had planned or sold.

2nd - The traffic systems aren't meant to be ground breaking new information. Just the simple things that work. They are made to give to outsourced workers to do a task to drive traffic to your site. They are the same videos we use in our company every day. I do appreciate the feedback on some of the holes. There are times when we may be using them and forget that there may be a something needed to further understand a principle. When this launch is over, I'll start going back through each of the systems and re-reviewing them with that hat on and see what other things we could / should add.

3rd - The done for you site where we "set up the site for you" is true. It should be finished by the 30th of this month. As I explained in the members area and during the sales process we had to create 52 weeks of content before anyone could start using it... not a small task, but we're almost done.

4th - for Mr. Wright - I always guarantee what we do. If you need a refund just let me know. And what I sold for a cheaper price wasn't the same product, it was just the micro-c training - no ITS (which used to be sold for $2,500 by itself). And for personal attention - you are right - I am not able to give personal attention to every student individually (nor did I promise to), but we do try to get as close to that as possible. That is why we invited everyone to come to our office to not only work with me for a full day, but to work with the guys in my offices who created the traffic systems to help get them working for your business. I'm glad that we had a large majority of the students come to that - it was awesome!

Anyway - I hope this helps clear some stuff up. If I ever make a promise and somehow it slips through the cracks, please let me know ASAP. We always jump fast to make sure all of our customers are happy - and 9 times out of 10 we've already fulfilled it, but for some reason the emails got lost or never opened.

Also - I just wanted to give a congrats to all of the students who went though the training. It was a very fast program, and from everything we have ever done, I have never seen so many success stories so fast from any program. It was SUPER exciting for me and for everyone on our team. We're excited to keep developing the program and help more people to finally make their first dollar online.

    Thanks again

      Hi Russel

I believe initally it was meant to be a 12 week program became less than that, I've lost track now. Yes extra webinars were added but the actual course itself was cut short.

The comments about we do it for you were not related to the actual "we do it for you" premium service but the copy on the standard product which essentially suggested you make the DVD etc etc.None of which is strictly true, provide the service yes, but there was a tendancy to exagerate what is actually handed to you on a plate.

      Rest seems fair comment.

I just took advantage of the offer from Bill Glazer of this program. 6 hours of this program preloaded on an ipod shuffle for only $9. At least im hoping it is a shuffle since that is the pic he used on his site and it didnt mention it wasnt a shuffle? But 6 hours and a free ipod is a good deal.

I am a newbie to this so I cant wait to dig in. I am trying to sell my own products on the web so I dont have to ravel and do live events since I have 2 beautiful little girls 4 and 7 and a new baby boy 3 months at home. Would rather take the time with them and do everything from the comfort of my home and on vacation.

Thanks for all the awesome advice on this forum and I look forward to learning from all you guys and gals here! You are all RockStars!

Anybody signing up for the Free Ipod...beware there is a $97.00 monthly charge after the Two Free Weeks of coaching you get.

I would hate to have anyone be in shock. Joe Vitale did it to me with his Hypnotic Marketing sales page with his $1.00 report. I was charged 30.00 a month and was getting a monthly CD that I didn't want. At first I thought...wow, how nice. But then it hit me, I went back and checked his sales page, and in the fine print...it said I would get charged after the first month.

I am very sensitive to this type of marketing since I have been on the receiving end of these fabulous offers.

    Take care,
    Karen

PS. I couldn't risk my reputation with these kind of offers. My clients would drop me like a hot potato. And I appreciate them too much. I would have to be 100% up front about the charges, and the terms.

I got the system and it couldn't have been more up front and clear that there was a $97 charge coming. This is a continuity model that is acceptable and has been used for a long time, i.e. Golds Gym lets you enter for $1 and then charges $50 a month, VOIP phone service lets you sign up for $5 then charges $29 a month, etc.

I would just like to add my two penny worth (sorry thats en english phrase!) to this debate...

I would like to say though that, from a relative newbie's perspective, Russell himself seems to give away a lot more really useful content in his affiliate website than just about any other "guru" that i have come across. I spent $4000 last year for a two day workshop with another big name promoter, which included a ready made membership site. The site itself turned out to be a real disappointment, and in all honesty i think i have learnt more so far just from Russell's free stuff that he makes available online, than what i did when i paid $4000 to this other guy!

i think just from watching the free stuff on MC there is enough info there to go out and make it work (which we should give Russell credit for) i.e. without going for the ipod, but i guess the ipod offer gives people those extra resources to get them going faster.

having said all that, yes i agree that i am not always comfortable with the fact that the on-going monthly fee isnt given more prominence in the marketing pitch. Ideally it should be made crystal clear, and if the fact that it can be cancelled at anytime was also made clear at the same time then surely that would be a viable alternative?

as an affiliate promoting MC, i do so because everything i have seen so far makes me believe that the product will work for people, which i think should be the basis for promoting any product. But just as important i fel RB is a genuine guy. If i didn't believe in either a publisher, or his product, i certainly wouldn't waste my time and space endorsing it, as let's face it there are loads of products to endorse online, right?

    hope that helps

    Yeh what he said above!
    1. I think Russell is great, his videos are helpful and I BELIEVE what he says, he has a huge business and gives away a lot of stuff.
    2. Did anyone get the traffic systems upsell? If so, can you comment what you think of them as I am undecided but they are pretty pricey.
3.@ Montero - the order form worked fine for me, maybe there was issue with your card or something.
    4. What do people think Russel is going to do on a course on microcontinuity? Of course hes going to demonstrate how to upsell and continue the continuity stream, it was pretty in your face and there was no deception I noticed. And he has said that there is a money back guarantee anyhow!
    5. Just get it, its a cool concept that Russell really lives and breathes and it works for him, hes been on tv promoting himself!

I agree on that. I ordered too, but got stuck on oto1. I didn't get a confirmation for anything but my cc was charged. Did you rec an email when you paid for shipping for the loaded mp3 player? Sent note to support desk yesterday and haven't heard back yet.

    1. Its not an ipod shuffle its an MP3 player. Sorry to disappoint.
    2. I ordered the digital version of the traffic systems I haven't received them yet but will give the company an email today. ($497 on the digital version)

Russell has some good info. I heard him give an MC speech back in March learned a lot.

I will let you know what I think of the Traffic systems. Hopefully I can outsource it on some of my stuff.

I signed up this go around. Here's my impressions. I appreciate the micro-c model - it does sound like a nice blend of many of the more successful info product models out there. However, I can't seem to shake this feeling that there is a bit of deception that runs through Russell's marketing and this product that makes me somewhat hesitant to buy in full bore to him and what he brings to the table. The use of the ipod-like image, the reliance on forced continuity, the truncated 12 week training issue, the fine print $97 per month charge after the two week trial period, the use of "one time offers" that are not really one time offers, etc. All technically ok and justifiable, I suppose, but I get this funny feeling like I'm dealing with a used car salesman. I hope I'm wrong.

Hey, Bigdadda... I know it's sometimes difficult to trust someone you've only ever seen on the internet. All those bad apples have really ruined it for the guys who are really making a difference and adding valuable content to the IM coversation. IMHO, Russell is one of the latter.

I know Russell already addressed some of the issues you mention above (how's that for character?), but from what I can remember about the original Micro-C training offer, there weren't 12 webinars. I remember it being 6 (but I could have a bad memory there).

In looking through the current sales materials, Russell NEVER mentions Apple or iPod, he always says MP3 player. In fact, he even says he bought the first shipment from Korea - that's about as transparent as one can get regarding the product being offered.

Granted, I don't know if I like forced continuity very much, but i've never had a problem getting removed before the charges hit.

I know there is a tendency to lump aggressive marketing into the used car salesman category. I can't blame you, there. But I am 100% satisfied with the stuff that Russell has put out so far.

I am too. For future purchase you guys should use paypals plugin mastercard. You can generate a new card in seconds and make it a 1 time use card and it wont work after you make that initial purchase. You can also generate multi use mastercard and you can close them just as quick. Its a really cool feature and you can even use your other funding sources as a backup in case you dont have a balance on your paypal account. I have been using it for a few months now. Pretty cool not having to worry if someone is going to charge you after you cancel something.

I love the fact that people are moaning/questioning whether or not it's an iPod - who cares?!

          1) iPod's aren't that great, so you've not missed out there

          2) The content is worth more than any iPod, even the iPod Touch

If all you're worried about is whether or not it's a brand name MP3 player, then you might as well steer clear of this offer as you're clearly not interested anyway.

Besides, you get the downloads so you can put them on whatever MP3 player you like whilst you wait for the free one to arrive

You're missing the point. It's not whether it's an iPod or not - it's whether Brunson suggested that it was an iPod or not to induce the sale. The use of an iPod-looking graphic for a non-iPod product may leave some feeling like they were duped.

I just wanted to chime in here...

I too thought they were an Ipod I guess I should have looked a little more closely

Regardless I think the training you recieve for $5 is stellar. I've gone through all 6 hours or whatever it is and couldn't stop listening to it. The sticking point to the program is going to be getting your first info product out there if you don't already have one, so it's probably not directly applicable to rank newbs.

For more advanced marketers this program will be a game changer. Just copy what he's doing in his launch right now and apply it to your business.

    1. Setup a great $5 dollar shipping free offer
    2. Build a backend out of your existing product - Deliver 1 piece of it a week.
    3. Build an upsell product - doesn't have to be yours

Bigdadda I know it was mentioned before but Russell seems straight to me. I think he's just a serious marketer who knows how to push people's buy buttons. I wish starting out I could have gone through his courses instead of piecemeal buying everything I could get my hands on.

      Guys,

Everything Russell does is 100% ethical and honest. If you get billed on his continuity and didnt want to, its your fault. If you thought that it was an Ipod that is also your fault. If you didn't get a refund from him that is also your fault because you did not ask.

Now there may be some legitimate criticism about some of the content not being detailed enough but he is working to always improve everything. In most courses out there you get a vague outline for an upfront payment of $1000 or more. He is giving you most of what you need for free.

If you don't have continuity, then you don't have a business. The days of peddling a one off $47 ebook offer are over. You must have continuity and you must have a back end if you want to be really successful. ALL of the top guys have this and what Russell if providing you is a way for anyone to set this up quickly and cheaply.

If you are a newbie, you will have problems with getting traffic to your site since you probably do not have JV partners to promote for you so you will have to spend some time writing articles, making blog posts, doing SEO etc... to get the traffic. You will have to do this for any business but in my opinion is the only reason that people might fail using his system aside from not doing anything which is why most people fail to make any system work. But, all the while, you are building a list of qualified customers that have valid credit cards. You can use this list to promote other products of quality in your niche and thus increasing your chances that those people will promote for you later and all the while earning commissions and collecting recurring income. This is powerful stuff!

      Cheers!

I can understand all the fuss from some people about whether or not this is a good system, is it for them etc etc - all standard questions from people both new and old to Internet Marketing.

Part of me wants to be cheeky and be "glad" that people aren't going to take him up on his offer.

Being an existing customer of Micro Continuity from the first time around - I would say I'm glad of less people learning about this kinda stuff

If you're unsure, I'm happy to answer questions etc so don't worry about that - but what I would also add, is there is never any problems getting a refund if you are not happy with it.

Also, if you do go for it - stick with it - don't jump onto the next thing that comes out straight away

Well to be honest, start with something you're passionate and knowledgeable about - that way it will come easy.

Don't worry too much if the niche is quite small. You can still generate a good following within a niche.

cool and thanks for all the info on this. I downloaded the 6 hours today and put it on my ipod to listen in the car tomorrow morning. Cant wait!

Also if it looks like an ipod shuffle and doesnt say its not an ipod shuffle. then I will assume it is. writing mp3 player doesnt say its not an ipod. Just like if he was offering a free car with a pic of it on his site. Then when you get it, its just a toy model of that car. Just vecause it didnt saw real car doenst make it right. I remember back in the day they used to sell these bb guns in magazines that said real semi automatic bb guns that looked like real guns. the pics looked great and then when you got it in the mail, it was a plastic piece of crap. obviously the company got shut down. Im not complaining sin ce for $9 im getting a sweet deal. But I would have thought 2 or 3 times before buying if it said mp3 that looks like a shuffle. just my 2 cents.

I just wanted to see what the buzz was all about, ended up signing up & getting a oto.

After the dust settled I thought about it & decided to cancel 2 days later since I don't have time to really learn this right now - have other projects going.

I emailed support - no wait - sent in a support ticket about this & was sent a reply around 1-2 days later saying my account was canceled. So hopefully that did it!

      Hope that helps,

I was sold on the Fixed Time Membership model back when I heard about it from Jimmy D. Brown -- but the way Russell has taken and tweaked/added to that is just very cool. I'm starting to work on switch my plain Membernaire sites to MicroC sites.

To the person who has a problem doing the video, the following has NOT been tested, but I'll bet it's right... =

Doing a text squeeze and sales page is better than having NOTHING out there.
Putting audio on both will pull better than text.
A screen capture video will pull better than audio.
And live action video will pull better than screen capture.

So my suggestion would be to go as far toward live action video as you can right now, just so you get something out there. You can always make it better later.

Listened to the 6 hours twice. I haven't received the first video yet, but so far I am very impressed with those 6 hours.

I didn't feel fooled by the 97 dollar a month price tag, but maybe I was looking for it in that I have seen these type deals before.

    1 CD a day conversion / Upsells/OTOs+Downsells ???

I read RB's micro-c salespage and studied Joy Anderson's startapreschool-dot-com website and report.

There are a number of questions I have as a result:

    1. Russell is stating multiple times that giving a away 1 CD a day would earn you $$x
    In fact, he is saying...
    __________________________________________________ _
"CDs Given Away | Monthly Continuity Price | Monthly Income
    1 $37 $37
    5 $37 $185
    10 $37 $370
"That's a car payment for giving away only 10 CDs!"
    __________________________________________________ _

On the other hand, further up on his sales page, he is explaining that by introducing a free offer, the typical conversion of visitors>buyers increases from 1% to 25% just by adding a free offer + shipping option. (now 8% of visitors opt in and 25% of those buy = 2 buyers).
That means that he effectively doubles his sales in his example, i.e. instead of selling to only 1 out of every 100 visitors, he is now selling to 2. But what that also means is that YOU NEED TO SEND OUT 4 CDs A DAY (NOT only 1 !!) to achieve 1 SALE A DAY.
I agree this is still a fantastic conversion, however I feel he was giving the impression that EVERY CD would in fact lead to a sale, which is obvioulsy WRONG.

    2. I would be interested to learn how Joy implemented her OTOs/upsells and downsells. She is mentioning what shopping cart system she is using, but what is not explained in her report is whether these are pre-checkout or post-checkout sales options. Using the shopping cart she mentioned, indicates she would be unable to upsell after the initial order (free CD plus shipping) had been processed yet check out has not been completed (1-click upsell). If however, she does not take credit card information for the initial offer, rather than simply adding a few up/downsells prior to reaching the final checkout page, that bears two risks:
------> 1. People could abort the purchase altogether
------> 2. It is not a "genuine" OTO, which means people can easily figure out that there is a downsell option, so could abort and start the process again.

    3. Joy's excellent site is a great example of RB's micro-c model.
While thinking about my own niche/s, I could not help myself but thinking as to whether her site would be suited for a market outside of the USA? I have obviously not bought the CD (and I have no intentions to), but I would be interested to know if she added a session/section that covers rules and regulations for running a home based preschool outside of her own home country?
Just a thought, I could very well imagine that it might actually be very restricted in some countries?

      Hi,
My daughter purchased Joy Anderson's Start a Preschool. The "free" CD has some pearls of wisdom. The first month is slightly repetitive if you watched her giveaway content and listened to the CD-but still, there are quite a few gems in there.

The second month gets a bit meatier. At 7 weeks in to the program she has not made suggestions for any countries besides the US. She does offer suggestions on how to go about doing the research for your particular area, though. Additionally, participants in her program are writing her with information as to what is (and is not) allowed or required in their parts of the country. Joy mentioned a few of these in a recent video.

Altogether it's a good program and my daughter is pleased.

      Hope this helps!

Found this thread after receiving an affiliate pitch from Brian Tracy about the "free" training on the "free MP3 player". It all looked good... but TOO good to be true... and sure enough, there it was, buried in the fine print of the order page, the $97/month negative-option forced continuity program.

Call me old-fashioned, but a "free" offer needs to come with no strings attached-- certainly no hidden strings-- or it's not a free offer, it's a con.

I am sure this kind of thing has been extensively tested, and it pulls better than if you actually TELL people what the real offer is in your sales pitch. From which we can conclude that if you TRICK people by seducing them with "FREE", without revealing the true costs and commitments in the offer until the very end, you can suck in more money.

So if it works, and is legal, what's the problem? The problem is that these types of offers REEK with sleaze; they scream out "BEWARE!! YOU CAN'T TRUST ME!" Is that really the kind of marketer you want to be?

By the way, I can't comment on the quality of the program. It could be really great stuff, as others have said. My point is simply that when it is marketed in this way I have ZERO confidence in the product or the marketer.

I think sometimes in IM we become jaded with all the latest direct response techniques-- the free offers that aren't free, the fake urgency and scarcity, the one-time offers and back end upsells-- that we forget the role of TRUST in the marketing relationship. So instead of just trying to maximize our conversion rates, I think we should be asking what effect will our actions have on how prospects and customers perceive us, and their likelihood of trusting us in the future.

        -end of rant-

          Hi Ryce

          1) You signed up for a $1 trial to our $97 per month coaching club. This is EXTREMELY clear from the sales materials and our level of disclosure is very transparent.

50% of the sales letter is devoted to this, and it's mentioned multiple times in BOLD on the order form.

Also, you got an autoresponder follow up series telling you all about the membership.

In addition, it was plastered all over the thank you page!

          2) Cancelling is super easy - we have live support, a support desk, or you can call my office and speak with my staff. We don't make you jump through any hoops at all. It's super easy to cancel.

          3) No one forced you to take advantage of our free trial. This was an option we presented to you, and we made the offer VERY clear. If you subsequently didn't want to be billed you could just contact our support desk or send us an email.

          4) You got a response in TWO HOURS to your support query. I think that's pretty fast! We do provide a live support function, but it's not 24/7 and when you used that function, before sending me a message, our team member was not on duty. But your question was answered within 2 hours.

Having said all of that, we don't want anyone to be unhappy, and so if you don't want the product then my support team will happily refund you

          Many thanks

            Hi Lee,

            Thanks for the reply.

I use the web for at least 15 years and I consider myself somewhat experienced on the matter.

I have an ebay and Amazon account with thousands of transactions and more than 10 years and although I can be wrong as everyone else sometimes I doubt I would do such a dumb mistake or take advatange of your work for a mere $1 dollar.

I 've put my credit card number to show I am no get a freebie kind of person.

I am a paid member for the War Room and recommend it to EVERYONE.

I guess next time I should Print Screen any other offer I decide to test.

I just reviewed the 6 e-mails you sent the day I subscribed.

NOT A SINGLE ONE SAYS I SIGNED FOR A 97$ MEMBERSHIP

Out of 6 emails with thousands of words the word "membership" shows up ONCE and by the end of the e-mail in those "PS" last minute remarks. And NO, ZERO, ZIPPO reference is there for a monthly fee

Never got your $197 "free gift" either... but since I thought your content did not suit my needs never bothered to copy, download, ask or anything else.

I can Copy all emails to another thread if you feel I am been UNFAIR with you.

In all my naiveness I thought you asked for a credit card number so I could check the content and if I found it valuable you would cross sell , up sell , refer me or whatever.

            How Naive....

Anyways, just dont say that "50% of the sales letter is devoted to this, and it's mentioned multiple times in BOLD on the order form."

            BECAUSE IT WAS NOT.

The same way that your "Live chat" support showed as ONLINE and NOBODY was available for live chat.

Oh yes, guess I was not lucky the same way that I could not see mentioned multiple times in BOLD on the order form that I was subscribing for a monthly $97" because I am a crackhead drug addict that is trolling around.

As GCINTERMED wrote here on reply #149:

I have to chip in here and say that I love the MC training and I believe it was very clear about the $97 per month training after the 14 day trial.

The only downside I've experienced so far is the payment processors. A merchant account over here in the UK was taking at least 6 - 8 weeks to process and also using the 1shoppingcart was going to cost an extra $97 per month.

I would have loved to use clickbank but they don't allow shipping of a product (well, technically they do, but you are not allowed to collect the address of your customer). So i reverted to using a combination of paypal, PayDotCom, DL Guard and Aweber. After some problems I have finally managed to get it sorted out with the help of the great team over at DL Guard forum.

My site is nearly ready to go live at www.LearnLucidDreaming.com and I can't wait. However thinking about it I should have really used the product launch formula to promote it.

If you are thinking about buying this I would recommend it without question and it really is a great business model that can be used over and over again.

I don't know Lee from Adam, but I ran across his site a week or so ago and watched all of his old content. He's got an impressive story, and has done quite a bit in a short amount of time. One thing I noticed watching his old content was that he was very up front about everything. Not once did I get the feeling that he was anything but ethical, and he made mention several times about clearly labeling prices, subscriptions, etc.

Even if the offer you responded to wasn't as clearly as it could have been, I have seen nothing that would lead me to believe that Lee was trying to intentionally scam anyone. In fact, all of the sales letters of his that I've seen have been very clear. You should choose your words a little more carefully when making accusations.

And even if it wasn't as clear as it could have been, his return policy couldn't be clearer. Instead of coming to the message board and trashing him, why didn't you just talk to him and ask him for a refund? Losing your $97 isn't exactly going to break him.

Seriously, now. Do you really want to want to conjure up something like that when talking about someone whose pitch is "ethical marketing"?

I'm not saying that you're lying about not noticing that you were signing up for a subscription, but you shouldn't go in with both guns blazing so quickly, mate.

He never once said it was an iPod and always referred to it as an MP3 player, and the graphic that was used is an actual image of the MP3 he is delivering. If it was an iPod, I have no doubt that it would have been in large, loud font all over the page.

Now, if he used a graphic that looked like an iPod, then a completely different looking MP3 player shows up that looks nothing like the graphic from the site, then I'd be inclined to agree with you.

Bottom line though, we are all responsible for our own decisions. We are all responsible for reading and understanding offers that are put before us. If someone ordered because they thought they were getting an iPod super cheap (or a regular MP3 cheap for that matter) versus ordering for the information contained on it, then that says more about the buyer than the seller. You have duped yourself then.

He probably could have found cheaper mp3 that didnt look exactly like the last shuffle. So I am willing to bet money that was a decision to pick a knock off of an ipod shuffle. Bottom line is that it gave me the nudge to make a quick decision to give his content a test but signing up for his stuff. Do I feel duped? No. But I can see how many would feel duped. Do I think he is trying to dupe people with this offer (shuffle Knock off)? Yes... But it is in a good way since he is offering an awesome product. So I am happy and juiced that he did it since it got me to take action. I have already listened to 2 hours of the 6 hours, watched the video, read the report, and love it all! I am going to purchase his program and go through it this week and start right away! When I see Russell I will thank him for duping me!

That's called "saying that the duper is absolved from liability" because the duped did not order for the reason for which you think they should have ordered.

Do I think Russell duped me re the mp3 player? Naw. But I've been around this game much longer than most people so I understand the tactics. It's just like those who publish graphics of hard covered books when selling an e-book, or graphics of physical cd's when the product is an mp3 file - to the majority of online purchasers who are not experienced IMers, this could be deceptive. The confusion re the mp3 player that others have set forth in this thread is the proof in the pudding.

I too ordered the free MP3 player, but never for a second thought it was an iPod and I did not think for a second that Russell tried to make me think it was.

I got an email from him when I ordered it with 4 downloads of audio, not 6.

The whole FREE just cover shipping & handling is also something I did not buy and even when you use it for your own MC site you will not lose money and in fact make money. My guess is as someone said above it probably cost Russell $7.00 including Shipping for the MP3 players and so he profited about $3 per MP3 so if he gave out only 1000 of them he already made $3k. The same goes with giving away FREE Cd's, doesn't matter if it is him, the nursery school teacher, me or you!

If it costs $1.75 for the CD and another $1 for shipping & handling and your charging $4.95 for S & H then your profiting $2.20 per "FREE" cd you give out! Heck, I will be more than happy to give away a million CD's this way! (Just be careful someone doesn't come to your home or stop you at a seminar and as for one of these "FREE"| cd's.

In anycase I plan on canceling my $97 subscription as well, was just waiting for the first of the 2 free lessons we are suppose to be getting. When is the first one? I assume 2 weeks will have passed since we ordered the FREE MP3 player before we get the second newsletter. Does anyone know exactly when the "2 weeks" finish? Is it from the time we ordered the MP3 player? From the time we recieve the free MP3 player? or From the time we recieve the first FREE lesson.

    Hey Dr Dan,

Well if he duped (yes, that spelling does look funny) you into buying, then I'm glad he did because I'd love to see what you come out with when you implement his system - the little bit of time I've spent on your site makes me want to check out what you might have rolling out soon.

Looking forward to being a Rockstar in Life!

Dennis - Nobody is disputing the notions of exercising personal responsibility and due diligence. However, I do dispute your conclusion that exercising personal responsibility and due diligence somehow absolves the duper from accountability.

Thanks brother and I am juiced to get some IM started. I tried the traditional route and not something I want to keep doing. I have 3 kids and dont want to be like 80+% of the other speakers out there that talk about family and how to live an amazing spiritual life, while their own kids are overweight, drug abuse, and the family is falling apart or gets a divorce. I am juiced to get the products out there since I have hours and hours of audio, video, interviews, that I have ceated but was too tired and overwealmed to launch with the traditional ways (telesmeniars, live events, radio, tv, etc). I am so glad I found you guys and the warrior forum. You guys are all RockStars!

Where did I ever say that the duper is absolved from accountability?

You just read something that was not there, just like many are seeing an iPod where there was only an MP3 player.

By not reading offers fully and clearly, one can create their own victim-hood, they can "dupe" themselves. That's my point.

If someone is clearly deceiving, defrauding or duping someone, of course they should be held accountable. If Russell said it was an iPod, but a knock-off arrived, he'd be guilty of deception. If the MP3 that shows up doesn't look like the one he is showing on his sales page, then that could be considered to be deceptive as well.

In your opinion, is Russell guilty of deceiving or duping you?

The free MP3 player and audios tells you the "what" about Micro Continuity. The paid-for coaching ($97/month) tells you "how"

If you stick at the weekly training, you'll definitely learn "how" but there's really not much point in him giving away everything for free.

This is the same MC model he recommends you use for your offers.

I listened to the first 2 hours of the 6 and then decided to purchase the digital version of the micro c program and glad I did. I have only watched the first hour and half of the 19 hours and it is awesome! He does go into detail and every step and where to go to do everything. It is a step by step guide for anyone including newbies. Well, maybe not for people that have never used the internet. Then you might have trouble figuring out how to watch the videos or even using a web browser  But I do recommend this program and if you plan on buying it then I dont recommend listening to the audios that came free since it is more of an overview of what he is going to teach you step by step in the videos.

Also I did have to open a ticket with his support because they send you an exe file that have the links to watch the streaming vids and I have a mac. I wanted to see if they would send me the actual files in avi or mp4 etc. It did take them 48 hours to reply via email. I sent an email to support, then opened the ticket on his support site, then even tried calling and had to leave a message on his voicemail. So im not sure if you have to do all 3 to get a reply. His support does seem to be lacking and there is no pdf files or anything to tell you when to watch the vids (weekly) or why they have 2 videos for each module. But after you watch it all the way through you figure it out. But he is teaching how to create a micro-c site and market it. Not teching how to run a successful business and have great customer support. Maybe that will be in his next program?

        ok, i'm a bit confused...

is the full program, one of those oto upsells that I skipped through?

or is it the 97 buck a month weekly video we signed up for?

At any rate, the 6 hours, although very helpful in my opinion, definitely don't tell you "how to do much, but if you look at the first week's coaching video, you will see that he emphasizes that this is a part of the program. You tell "what" in the overview, but you teach "how" in the program...

In addition, the coaching has some pretty practical assignments....for example, in the first week your assignment includes creating your free audio. I do have a few questions, but not enough to pay for the 1 on 1 coaching....

Could you get this on your own from places like warrior forum or the net? yes, but what you are paying for is the structured systematic delivery of this program. I ain't really a newbie, but I haven't gone through a program like this, so perhaps I am a "newbie buyer," but I am happy and will stay in the program for a bit.

I have my system outlined and will record it in a day or so....

Yes, the full micro c program is the first OTO he sells for 397 I think it was and the 2nd OTO is 197 for the digital version of this (streaming flash video). Here he breaks down step by step and where to go (websites etc and who he recommends as far as resources) Like he says, it is nothing new that he is teaching. But he has put all the systems together and tested them to see what works the best. I am a newbie but can see how other seasoned marketers could use this to increase their conversion rates.

                hey man,

When you sign up to get the mp3 player...you also sign up to a 97 dollar a month coaching program. IT runs for 6 months. You pay your first 97 dollars if you don't cancel within the first 14 days.

I was just wondering if the program that you bought for 200 bucks is the same program that you will get if you stay in the coaching program...

This is the forced continuity portion of the program...

Im not sure until I watch the weekly videos that Russell just made available. I will have to check them out. But I do know that the first micro c video is over 1 hour with another 30 min extra video where he goes into more details. The weekly training video he made available just now looks like it is maybe 20 min.I will let you know once I find out. Or maybe someone here already knows.

Your welcome brother and I finally watched the weekly training videos that Russell sent as part of the micro-c subscription and here is what I noticed. The Micro-C program he sells as an OTO for 397 physical or 197 digital product is a complete package of how to start your own micro-c program for your product.

The weekly micro-c video subscription that is 97 month is the same thing but weekly and better laid out with some print outs to go along with it. I only watched video 1 from the program and video 1 week 1 from the weekly subscription 97.

I personally like the weekly subscription 97 since it just flowed better and was better laid out in my opinion. It is also a litter shorter in lenght and straight to the point which I like. The 397/197 product would cost you less since it is only the one time fee and the 97 would go on for 6 months. but I feel it is worth it. It is almost like the 397/197 product was created on the fly (webinar he did) and the 97 subscription was planned out and done after he had more practice with teaching the content. That is just my opinion on how it feels for me.

The 397/197 product does go into more detail and he answers some questions people have which is nice. So if money is not an issue then but them both. But if its one or the other. I like the weekly subscription for 97 a month. Hope this helps if anyone was trying to decide on which one to choose.

I think the BIG thing people are missing here is EXACTLY THE POINT OF THE SYSTEM Russell is teaching.

By getting your FREE + Shipping MP3 - You will learn "HOW" this method/system of selling works.

If you want the "Hold my hand, paint by numbers, complete done for you system" you will need to continue on in the $97/mo program.

I do NOT recommend Russell Brunson's Microcontinuity program. My opinion after listening to the first six hours is that he delivers completely rehashed sales material with some of his own stories thrown in.
For anyone with some basic IM skills or has been around for a bit you can "figure" out the pieces yourself from the free launch material - just because it's free doesn't mean it's not super valuable!

He's given more than enough "Gold" for you to go off and implement the "system" -

In replicating his system for your own business - this is exactly what you need to do. Give away a free + shipping CD/DVD teaching the "WHAT" of your program- your micro continuity will teach the "HOW" of your program. The whole point being to maximize your customer's value.

What would be the point of him giving you the "WHAT" AND "HOW" on a free + shipping offer? He's running a business - he wants your $97 * 6mo ($582).

As for the whole: "Is it an Ipod or an MP3 player or whatever" - YOUR COMPLETELY MISSING THE POINT! Stop your whining - Take some freakin' action and create an offer/implement what he's teaching.

Whatever the story with the Mp3 player is... He's sucessfully sold 2000+ "Trial" memberships at $97/mo for 6 months ($1,164,000.00+ in sales if he gets a 100% stick rate - unlikely but thats still a TON of sales) Even at a 20% stick rate he'll make over $200K from one offer.

While some people are busy debating whether it's blue iPod or an Mp3 player or cheap&nasty ripoff - Russell took some ACTION and said "People have seen the free CD/DVD offer whatever - I need something that is different - in NLP terms - "A pattern interrupt" - something that will get noticed in the seriously jaded and skeptical IM market - So I'll try a Free+Shipping MP3 Player - who knows I might make a couple of hundred grand.....

Get your priorities straight peoples - if you want to makes some money online - go and create an offer, then another, AND Another....

          Ok my rant is done!

          ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On a side note (for those wondering if the system works) I'm in the process of taking 3 $37 ebooks I have and trialing his system - will happily post results as soon as I have them.

          Offer Breakdown:

I've also checked my spam folders and nothing from them at all.

I had that same problem. Because I have my email delivered to yahoo and gmail, I noticed that the yahoo account totally blocked it and the gmail account delivered it to my inbox. I later went in and white listed and set up rules to make sure anything with **Russell Brunson was delivered to my inbox.

            Hey,

What are you charging for shipping? I think kunkai will cost 5.75...are you going to take a loss and charge the 4.99 he suggests?

another quick question. I wasn't complaining about the "What" versus the "How". You gotta charge for something. And he does explain it completely in the first video.

My question was whether the 97 dollar a month coaching program that I am in will deal with all of the material in the 200 dollar upsell (system) that I didn't buy that some others did purchase?

Wow lots of comments and a whole lot of speculation. I bought the newest release i.e. the FREE MP3 player loaded with 6 hours of Micro-C. Thank goodness there is a digital download available because a week and a half later I still have not seen the MP3 player. And for some reason the online help desk is not working.

Now as to the content of the stuff I have...it is exciting. It seems it would be a lot easier to implement with an existing product.

As for the "sneaky tactics" For gosh sakes on the page which offers the Free CD plus shipping it says that you will get a trial period to ____ thats the whole point of the continuity portion. The Micro part is the same as Jimmy D. Brown does with his Membernair...it is a limited time Continuity program. And guess what...the plan taught is to tell exactly how long the program lasts..ie pay $XX a month for XX months with lessons weekly (or whatever) for XX weeks.

So I really do not see how Russell is promoting being dishonest. My complaint is I have not received the MP3 and thats only cause it was marketed as the bait to getting the course. The OTO's...thats business, yes they were a bit over the top...in that they seemed to never end...but heck...ya didn't have to take them.

Russell if you are reading...FIX YOUR HELP DESK...GET MORE PEOPLE WORKING THERE DURING LAUNCH...AND it would really be nice for a place to check your subscriptions, and actually have them listed....

Well he's missed his first week of training for me. Didn't receive squat.

Several people have indicated that like me, they have no MP3 player but Brunson has heavily promoted another webinar and I've gotten about 10 promotional emails from him to pump that webinar and to continue selling the launch.

There are some issues with his customer service in another thread in this forum.

I'm starting to wonder. I tweeted him to see what gives. Hopefully it's just a hiccup.

Yea is customer support sucks. Took a little over 48hrs to respond back to me after I sent email, opened ticket on his site, and called was put on hold and then had to leave a message. Also his support site is very unstable and crashes. But he is teaching how to sell and not be a good biz. I think he needs to take some courses on that. Its like when AOL sent out all the cd roms back in the day and they fell apart. Just on a way smaller scale. He teaches to just get it going and work on the next step later. So thats what he is probably doing.

No Desmond I have not received the package I paid shipping and handling for, but the charge to my credit card went through very easily. I wish I would have paid for the digital coaching and been done with it, cause I never heard a thing about the weekly sessions.

And I cannot get through to ask for support cause the help desk is always down and the phone lines never get answered.

    Disappointing to say the least.

A lot of complaining on here. You guys do realize this is a INTERNET MARKETING forum and Russell is a very successful internet marketer, right?

So why all of the complaining about the mp3/ipod and continuity?

Does the mp3 player look an ipod, yes. Does he say it IS an ipod? No. If it were a real ipod, trust me, it would have been stated. What he did was called smart marketing. He knows that people will react better if the mp3 player he is giving away resembles an ipod. If you thought you were going to get a real ipod, well, that's your fault. Not his, again he never claimed it was an ipod. So instead of complaining about it, perhaps you should be taking notes.

And about the continuity thing, do you guys not see the irony here? You are upset with him because when you order you are put into a continuity program. Umm, hello, the thing he is giving away teaches you how to go about setting up a continuity business model!! He tells you in the sales letter about how it is more profitable to give away a free CD/DVD/mp3 player and then do a OTO, and put people into a continuity program. And then you complain that he is putting you into a continuity program.

      Haha!! That's hilarious!

2 other things about his continuity, it is clearly stated on his order page. And it's where the big money is. That, along with upsells. So again, maybe you should stop complaining and start taking notes.
And if your material is good, then why wouldn't a customer want to get more of it?

You are right. To much complaining here. MP3 player is not important. Instead of complaining you should implement in practice what Rusell teach and you will see results soon.

What's even worse is that I am sure most of the people that realized there was a continuity had every intention of ordering just to get their $10 "ipod" and then canceling.
That itself was sort of scheming wasn't it? Trying to get a little somethin'-somethin' for nuthin'?

    Hey Guys -

wow - someone just sent me this link and want to respond.

I'm very sorry for any frustrations you guys have felt so far. We've had 4 support people putting in 12+ hour days since launch. I've had programmers and about everyone else in our office answering tickets as well. No matter how prepared you try to be for these things, bad stuff still seems to happen.

We are doing our best to answer everyone as quickly as possible. Yesterday our help desk and phones crashed for about 4 hours. While some will probably thing this is some sneaky tactic, the truth is they crashed. As soon as we found out, we got them working again.

I appreciate those who have loved the content so far and have been amazed at how fast our students are implementing the Micro-Continuity system.

If you didn't get the MP3's immediately after you ordered, then please let us know. You should have been taken to the download page after you ordered.

If you have had problems getting the weekly training emails, you can login and view the first 2 weeks here:

    Week #1 Training:
    http://microcontinuity.com/content.php?day=ZGF5MQ==

    Week #2 Training:
    http://microcontinuity.com/content.php?day=ZGF5Mg==

Just use the email address you used when you ordered and it will take you to the members area.

If you are concerned about getting through to our help desk to cancel before the billing cycle, you can cancel at any time on your own here:

    Cancel My Account Now

or please call our office at 208-323-9451 or visit our helpdesk at DotComSecrets - Powered By Kayako eSupport.

We have a bunch of people from my team coming in Saturday to try to get all of the tickets responded to and phone calls answered. We're doing our best and apologize for the frustrations anyone has felt.

    Thanks again
    Russell Brunson

I purchased the Apprentice Coaching Program that Russell offers. I know this is not the same exact program you are discussing here. However, it is an option through Russell's upsell. I have been marketing online for several years and not doing too bad I must say. However, this coaching program offers so much and is not a cookie cutter coaching program. I can't speak for all of the coaches as I am only working with one. But, I can tell you that they interview you before the program starts and they find out what they need to work with you on. They don't wast your time on things you already know and that is much better than most coaching that I have heard about here.

This coaching program is like having a direct line to Russell himself. The coaches are actually in the same building as Russell. It's not one of those outsourced coaching programs that you may find through some others that I wont mention. There is good and bad in any course you take but no matter what level you are in your business, you will learn a great deal from his Apprentice or Protege coaching.

I am glad that I decided to accept this offer and I am looking forward to the launch of the site I have been building with Russell's coach.

Michael M. is doing a fantastic job! I have 3 weeks left in the course and as soon as my outsourced work is done, we are ready to launch the site...

I agree that things to happen when launching, but definitely needs to be fixed and make sure that all his subscribers know they are about to be charged before charging them. Since it seems alot of people never got any of the weekly trainings. I never even got an email letting me know what I was going to get or when I would be charged. I signed up on the 23rd of last month also. Still dont have the mp3 player either. I also sent out another support ticket over 48 hours ago and still havent recieved a response. So hopefully Russell hires some extra help to get back on the ball.

I think his efforts over the holiday weekend were exemplary. At least from my standpoint, he made the effort to get his CS issues squared away. Can't say for anyone else, but he certainly showed that he wanted to fix the problem(s).

That's certainly one attribute to microcontinuity (or any continuity) program vs. a one-off product sale. It keeps the vendor's feet to the fire because not addressing these issues strangles cash flow pretty quickly as people bail. In short, you can't run a successful micro continuity program and not be prepared to handle customer support issues.

Russell, I hope that you can address some of this in the actual training so that people understand the importance. While indeed the content side may be "fire and forget", the business model absolutely requires ongoing support attention.

    Hello all you buyers,

I just wanted to add my 2 cents for what it's worth.

Just got my mp3 today...a day after my 2 week trial deadline. Wish I could have gotten it faster, but not a big deal because I downloaded them from the web and have listened to them about 3-4 times already.

Support went down and I wasn't getting my videos, but got them over the weekend and was able to watch them and take lots of notes. Got a BIG "Aha" moment on one in regards to Kunaki...not something that was a "secret", but something I just didn't know and was a real mental hangup...now that's gone!

As for implementation, I decided to try to convert one of my existing Clickbank products to this model. Not thrilled with CB not supporting the physical products yet, but that's not Russell's problem. Signed up with PayDotCom.com and everything went ok.

I really wasn't sure my product would work with Micro-C. Still am not sure I'll get the continuity from my members, but we will see.

Well, as I said, it was an existing product and website, so I already have inbound links, video marketing, etc. in place.

Then I got a notice today that I have my first member. I *think* I put the final piece in place on Sunday night...and it's Tuesday.

Freaked out b/c she was from Australia and didn't know what Kunaki's shipping would be, but it was still $5.75 and I set my shipping at $6.95.

I am NOT an internet novice by any means, have several sites, know how to build simple HTML sites and Wordpress, know how to use Aweber, Paypal (and now PayDotCom), can do a little graphics work.

This is a GENIUS method. I'm hoping to get my SECOND Micro-C site up by the end of the week and then will begin promotion. Then, am going to help my 2 daughters (age 10 and 8) start theirs. My goal...3 Micro-C sites by the end of August.

I wish I had the money right now to have kept on with Russell's program, but the $197 is a bit of a stretch right now. Maybe I'll hop in later, but he really gives enough info for someone who's not a newbie to get this rockin' and rollin'.

Russell, THANK YOU SO MUCH for this. I have NO DOUBTS my sites will work, if promoted properly, and I really appreciate all the great content I got for so little.

    Susan

P.S. I have no affiliation with Russell...never bought from him before, never seen him speak. I just signed up for his affiliate site last week and have only sent one link to one client so far.

LOVE THIS! LOVE LOVE LOVE the concept.

(Sorry for such a long post, but wanted to give details for those interested.)

First off I love Russell Brunson's micro-continuity system and I'm working on getting mine setup. It will be my first ever membership program, so that is exciting.

I just wanted to let everyone know about the MP3 player that I just got today. And no it's not an iPod, but you should have known that from the pictures and when Russell stated it was an MP3.

Anyway, I just got my MP3 player and although it looks cool it did have a little dirt on the headset. But no biggie, right?

Besides, I already downloaded the MP3s onto my own player.

Anyway, I tried hooking up the MP3 Player that I just got from Russell to my computer. Because I wanted to see how much space the little thing had.

And to my surprise! My antivirus program 'Avira' says it has a Trojan attached to the MP3 player. Not cool. And now I'm running a virus scan on my computer to see if it infected anything.

I'm not sure if it threw a false positive. So, be careful when you plug in the MP3 player to your computer.

Here's the info on the Trojan it has attached.

I am considering changing my lead products over to "Free CD" approach simply for the higher click value.

Once people have clicked, paid for shipping, they are in the click and pay mode more and this leads to higher conversions. Buyer resistence is broken down by interaction, so any method you have for getting people to interact with your page is going to increase leads, conversions etc.

    Just mtcw.

I just got my mp3 in the mail today too. Looks just like the picture and alot like the last ipod shuffle. You can tell that it was made really cheap and has a buzzing noise when on. Also the earphone look like they were made for toys. The paint on the buttons for ff and rw are already rubbing off. I am not complaining for $9 bucks but just stating the facts. I am glad Russell used this ipod lookalike for his F+S offer since I wouldnt have jumped on this offer otherwise and am happy I did.

I am almost done with my week 1 homework and ready to rock! Next step is recording the F+S giveaway, then ordering my own copy, and then having the artwork and site designed. He recommends scriptlance and 99designs for that. I love the step by step process.

I love Russell's system and sad to hear that a few hear felt they did not get their moneys worth. Recommend it too. Not just for the "marketing secrets" but also new ways about creating your own content. I opted in to the free plus shipping MP3 player and listening to it while lawnmowing I finally discovered my niche! Help me believe:

I am trying to make up my mind about this program and I have followed this thread for a few days now.

I would like some experienced warriors to give me thier opinions about it.

Some of the most glowing opinions seem to come from folks with very low post counts.

I don't think I am suggesting these may be shill postings, but here are some of the writers and their post counts and their comments:

User name - post count - comments

      myhomestart - 4 posts - "Russell Rocks"
      dreamit78 - 8 posts - "genuine guy"
      egenius - 1 post - "100% ethical and honest"
      coolmoma - 1 post - "thanks a bunch"
      free09 - 3 posts - "highly recommend it"
munbhero - 3 posts - "impressed and happy"
      bmichaels - 1 post - "love Russell's system"

Do you believe these postings and what they say?

Well,....I will give my opinion. TelegramSam motivated me to do it:

I also ordered the CONTENT (the MP3 player is not what he is selling, and the MP3 player is only a bonus) and so far I am very happy with it (or should I say "obessesed" as I am now recommending the system to offline businesses) And i am planing to stick with the 97$ per month.

So far I find the content very good and you should give it a try.

I haven't received the MP3 player yet but I don't care. It was a suprise for me to receive the MP3 files right away. I thought that I was going to need to wait until I received the player but not. I could likste to the Mp3 the same day.

And the membership is VERY clear and not in fine print. I perfectly knew this was going to be like this and even Russell recommends you be CRISTAL CLEAR with that to your customers.

    So,....I definitely Recommend it.

I am still a newbie with low posts but love the program he laid out. Just make sure to follow the 97 subscription plan and not the 497/197 package he offers as a OTO. its the same content but doesnt give you the handouts he talks about on the webinar you are watching. He also has some of the steps different in the 2 programs. Stick with the 97 subscription (weekly videos) plan.

Also his support is really bad. I have put in numeraous tickets, phone calls, emails and it takes at least 4-5 days to get anything back and still havent solved it. He did post a message on this board saying they are backed up but it is really bad.

I did eventually hear back from support, but my issue was not a big one. I did like that, when I went to unsubscribe, it was not a hassle. I do hate how many hoops a lot of marketers and companies make you go through to cancel. If someone doesn't want to be a customer anymore, why make it almost impossible to leave? Surely that has to hurt in the long run.

I'm one of the testimonials from Russell's website - and Russell always gives the real "stuff".

      The key is implementation.

Last week, I got a check for $5,200 from my "Micro-Continuity website"

This week, another check for over $3,000.

      Yes, it works.

If you'd like to know more, message me and I'll be happy to let you know.

I love my MC site - because it works 24/7, hands-free.

      Best,

      Interesting comments.

Here's my take. I found the free content leading up to the MC launch simply amazing. I thought the first week was extremely good. I had to cancel basically due to time constraints. Hopefully he'll offer it again later. If it weren't for the time constraints, I would have continued hands down, full throttle.

I've always thought that Russell offers a lot of value. His products are normally very straight forward....do this, then do that. No B.S. Straight-up doable action steps.

His help desk was overwhelmed, and even sent a message saying so. But eventually they got around to me.

One other thing, I believe with the free content that Russell gave, including the videos, and Joy's report, you could easily run with it and create a product of your own.

No I'm not a friend of Russell's, I've never met him. But I admire his work ethic as well as his quality of work.

    Regarding cancelling:
They were both prompt and nice when I cancelled. I remained in for the first month and I cancelled for personal reasons. During that time I did get my site planned and made my video recording for the squeeze page and free c.d. offer using a telesiminar line as they taught.
I do plan to finish what I have started, I really like the business model.
I actually had to contact their support twice and they responded the following day both times. Just fill out a new ticket at the help desk and give them the last four digits of the credit card you used and your name. Easy.

I didn't buy it but I know the majority of the people that actually go through
the course in its entirety (or at least some of it) will benefit greatly from it.

    How do I know?

Because Russell is one of just a handful of guys I follow very closely and
always learn something from whether I buy or not.

Just the free content he was giving away was worth more than most
crap we find in our inboxes on a daily basis.

And NO, I did not promote this as an affiliate and you won't find
a link in my sig to a Micro C review site so don't think for one second
that there is anything in it for me by chiming in here.

If you do, then I feel bad for you because you're vision is clouded.

Anyways, Russell knows his sh*t and is very good at teaching it.

Good Luck to everyone that actually takes action

The rest of you? Take responsibility. It's not everyone else's fault for
your current circumstances. In 99% of the cases, it is yours.

    All the best,

No... I didn't buy it. ***QUESTION***

I am creating a Micro-C site. I filmed 4 1/2 hours of Video in one day with... Dr Joe Rubino, Chuck Abbott, and a few others.

It is for the "Accelerator for Success" system using the Dream Bar Cafe Principles I created after my years of being a Protege of Jay Abraham and a Tony Robbins Trainer.

Question: Who knows the BEST place to store the video's... for people to watch them after they purchase the program?

If he was such a "good guy", then why were you seeking refunds from him?

From what you said, I don't know if this shows badly on him or you.

I had taken the free ipod offer from Russell and it took about 3 weeks to get it in the mail. Fortunately he gave you an instant download right away. The ipod (mp3) player really sucks and has alot of static etc. So probably worth at the most $5-$10 at the flea market. But the content was golden.

I had also took advantage of one of his OTO's and bought his $197 Micro C digital version of his complete program. But after getting the frst 2 videos trainings that was part of his weekly free trial of his micro c program decided to get a refund and stick to the weekly micro c program since the content was beter laid out and had a ton of resources included. Even though the 197 would be a heck of alot less that $97 a month for 6 months. The refund took about a week and they were about 7 days to get a response from his company even after a few phone calls and emails and support tickets being opened. But it was not hard to get the refund. I just think they were really backed up from all the people that signed up for the free mp3 offer. Russell even responed with this on this forum. I also noticed that Russell pays his affiliates $26 (if I remember correctly) for each free mp3 that they give away. So you could imagine how many people must have taken advantage of this offer during the launch.

All and all, this is an awesome program and from what I have seen so far, he is a stand up guy and has some really awesome content and broken down step by step.

I have yet to receive a reply from their online support facility.

Hey guys I wouldnt do anything with Russell until he fixes his support and gets his email system fixed. I am arguing with his support to get access to the videos I already paid for and it has been a few weeks dealing with them. It is like trying to talk to a 4 year old over there.

I say " I need access to the weekly micro-c videos I paid for and cant access them because it says my card needs to be updated".

2-4 days later I get a response "Sorry for the inconvenience and here is the link to the video www.blahblah.etc."

me "that is the wrong link and takes me to the download free bonuses and buy your stuff page?"

another 2-4 days later, them" sorry here is the correct links to all the videos blah blah blah"

me "thanks for the correct links but it still wont let me access them? says I need to pay again?"

them " sorry blah blah blah, seems you need to update your credit card etc. You must pay us more money to see the videos you already paid to watch but didnt get to watch because we dont email you when new videos are available and you should guess when they are and just make a point to go the link around every week since we dont have a set day when we post the new videos. But it is the best program out there and you should model after us to make money."

lol.... ok I added the last part but this is what they basically said to me? Crazy!

I hope this isnt considered bashing or bad mouthing them. I am just relaying my experience with his system and program so far.

Update: I finally got it resolved after a ton of emails and opening tickets. But JD over there finally came through and gave me the access to watch the videos I paid for. also JD did respond to me emails within 30 min to 1 hour which is wayyyy less than what I have experienced with his support in the past (3-4 days or more).

Yes, we get that Pierre, but clearly we are trying to find feedback on how well it's implemented, what money if any people have made from the backend coaching, how customer databases are stored, how customisable the content actually is once your niche is dropped in and so on, stuff youc an only learn from somebody actually in the program.

    Hello all,

I have to agree that the presell content was incredible. I do have to ask though...

If I want to open up a day care business (whether in my home or as a brick and mortar business) why in the hell would I want dripped content for 12 months give or take to make this happen?

That's like saying..."Great, I found the solution to opening up my business. I'll sign up for this solution and I can finally open up my business in a year".

I'm not suggesting this micro continuity does not work. As a matter of fact, this would work perfectly in the dieting or workout niche but certainly NOT to start a business! I would die to see how many people signed up for the day care continuity plan.

    Oh, please do share! :-)

A little research turned up some odd results. His potatogun site is still in the ask campaign phase and has been for a while. He host the video for that on Youtube which only has a 300 count on views. I thought that was a money maker for him.

His father's micro site hasn't sent any follow up emails. I was also sure that follow up with aweber (or whomever) was a big part of the plan.

I was contacted by their offices for a long term consultation package - never got around to asking the price. They actually called 5 times and never left a message until finally the caught me available at 9:30 pm Eastern. The sales guy didn't seem very knowledgable about some of the testimonials on the site that I asked about.

My overall feeling is that the product might be a great idea but he's too overwhelmed or too bored with the customer service aspect to spend time on it. I called their number several times but always was first put on hold and then sent to voicemail about 1 minute later.

Has anyone else had problems with charging the MP3 player?

I plug it into a USB port but no lights come on.

I only get a red light on the same side as the USB socket when the USB cable is plugged in *AND* the unit is switched on -- no light at all on the earphone/switch face.

Without the USB cable plugged in there are no lights regardless of the position of the on/off switch.

Have tried all the USB ports on both a Dell Netbook and a desktop PC.

I had audio straight out of the box, which I assume was the result of some residual charge.

I've contacted support, they do not allow you to prepay all weeks??? I'm interested in having the course from start to finish without waiting weekly.

Does anyone have any idea how you can skip the waiting for 1-video per week and purchase the full course?? Did I possibly miss an oto that offers the complete package?

I PM'd you the link to the micro c OTO offer (it is the 3rd & 4th OTO). He sells the cd version for 397 and the digital for 197. I dont recommend it over the weekly course since the weekly video course is way better laid out and has al the resources he talks about. The OTO offer is for a webinar he did where he goes over the process and has you doing your assignments in a different order than the weekly, but I liked the weekly course better.

Right now they are on week 13 but after week 6 or 7 they go into traffic generating techniques. If you dont want to wait for those you could just buy his OTO traffic secrets.

After hearing about Jimmy D Browns Membernaire program
          Code:
          http://www.membernaire.com/
from one of the warriors here "Sherman Cox" I decided to take a look at it and I really like it better than Russells program. But I am going to use some of the ideas I got from Russell like using the video squeeze page and trial membership free plus shipping etc. Membernaire is just way better laid out and gives every resource plus step by step instruction. Just my personal opinion.

I only charged it once and then gave it to my dad. But it is pretty junky and cheap. It gives off a lot of static on some of the audios and gets a little warm while running. Honestly I wouldnt have paid more than 99 cents for the mp3 player itself. But the content was awesome!

The whole point of delivering it to you each week is so that you will actually do everything that he mentions in that week and get it down before the next week's video.

I think it's a better style of teaching and makes you focus on one task at a time, rather then trying to digest a whole bunch of information and then make a move with that information.

Lastly, I have the newest version of XSitePro...does anyone have experience creating a MC site with this software?

He is delayed THREE WEEKS!! so, basically,... I have paid almost one entire month and received NOTHING!

Very disappointing.... and even more disappointing was the response of the support ticket "I am sorry. We "try" to deliver the lessons on time".

First of all, I don't get paid to say any of this, but while my relationship with Russell has consisted of just occasional emails since meeting him in April '05 at the Big Seminar 5 in Atlanta, I do know Russell enough to say that he's the real deal, and that he's one to definitely follow for marketing advice.

Now, to address the quote, above, I don't have time to read all of posts or research what he charges every month for the continuity portion of this program, but the one bit of advice I would give to anyone who gets upset about being billed 4 times but only receiving 3 issues so far is this...

      1) Determine how much the monthly charge is. Let's say it's $100/mo. for simplicity's sake.
      2) If you've been involved for 4 months, ask yourself, "Have I made my $400 back, yet?".

      - if so, then you are playing with the house's money, allowing you to ignore the fact that you haven't received month 4's content, yet, and choose to use your time and energy focusing on improving what you've already learned in months 1-3, with the piece of mind that you know you'll have more content to study within a week or two.

      - if NOT, then make it your goal to earn $400 from the first 3 months of content BEFORE you ever TOUCH the month 4 content. You just have to ask yourself, "How much have I really applied what I've already been taught? Man, I need to focus in on building my business more, rather than looking forward to more training."

In fact, anytime you buy a continuity product, whether it's a membership site, monthly coaching, CD of the month, or whatever, your #1 goal should always be this...

      * EARN MY 1 MONTH'S PAYMENT BACK!... In other words, just for your own piece of mind, if you know going in that you can at least make your investment back, then there's no reason to ever have to worry about getting a refund, because then you can focus on making money, rather than how quickly you're going to get the next module of content.

So the key is to study and then IMPLEMENT what you learned in that first module as quickly as possible, make some money, keep testing and tracking for results, and only once you've exhausted all of the content from that first module (and hopefully earned back your initial investment), move onto the next month's content.

Goal #2 would be to earn enough to pay for an entire year, so you can RELAX and just build your business, knowing you've made back many times your investment.

Finally, I'll just say that, yes... it's always nice to pay for something and then get it immediately, but the truth is that when you are paying for a monthly piece of content, the promise on the marketers' end is that you will get this type of content every month... it's never promised that you'll get access to it exactly when your card is dinged. The only time you EVER get what you pay for immediately online is if you're buying a digital product that's already been created. Monthly membership material takes a ton of time and effort to create so that it has value, and is provided as soon as it's available on a monthly basis.

Besides, because people decide to buy the monthly continuity product at different times of the month, it only makes sense that some get the product earlier than others, because their cards are dinged at different times of the month.

I hope this helps. It's definitely a LOOONNG drawn out answer to a simple concern, but I wanted to share a bit of the psychology that's helped me over the years whenever I get a continuity product that's geared towards helping me make more money. I've had problems in the past of staying on one task, as it is, so this type of thinking allows me to stay focused on a GOAL of just earning back my original investment, so I can rest easy about making the buying decision in the first place.

It's all about realizing you're making an INVESTMENT, and your goal is to get a positive return on your investment as quickly as possible.

Very disappointing.... and even more disappointing was the response of the support ticket "I am sorry. We "try" to deliver the lessons on time".

Unless they change quickly for the better, I don't recommend it anymore.

Hey brother I feel ya on this. I was having the same challenge with them. After launching my own micro continuity program I have come to realize that some times things happen and you get a little behind trying to keep up with your upload dates to your server. Those who got in at the beginning are the ones that suffer since they are expecting a weekly video every week. People that start the program now will get all the videos on time each week since they have over 17 weeks of content ready to be sent to them.

I wouldn't trip too much about it and just implement what he is teaching and just make sure they make it up to you ion some way or at least they dont charge an extra month at the end of his program.

    Hi,

I bought this even just because I love buying stuff and it's KILLER packaging! Very good for modeling for your own products.

Russ said in the intro video on the sales letter that he bought the mp3 players from Hong Kong. So you can kinda assume they aren't ipods.

This is a VERY elaborate and well constructed product and coaching program.

On the forced continuity, you kinda assume there's billing involved since most people don't send out an mp3 player for free. He also explained it very well on the video on the sales letter.

Or that's how I see it.

It's a very professionally produced product. One of the best I've seen.

Speaking of Brunson, can anyone explain to me why so many of his "case studies" have the same business address and phone number as Brunson's business? And how does a potato gun site with nothing for sale make $3,000-$4,000 a month selling potato gun info as he claims here at the 1:40ish mark?

Making money selling something you don't actually have for sale....it's gotta be the holy grail of marketing, lol.

This is an ancient thread but a very useful one.

I purchased Russel's course which may have begun with the Free MP3 player preloaded with something. I can't remeber but with a Credit Card to cover shipping etc and the CLEAR explanation I had a certain amount of time to review Russel's Micro Continuity program...probably a week or two, and them the monthly charges would start.

It's been a while but I think I remember a note from Russel saying "Ok your intro period is about to end and your card will be charged" and if I remember correctly, there was a note each month saying the charges would be made if I took no action.

He was completely up front about the whole process.

Russel's content was not mind blowing although some was very good. It opened my eyes and my course 3 years later is finally about ready for prime time...and I will go back to review that content here in the next few days to see how relevant it is...maybe pick up a tip or two.

Russel is bright and worth a lot o dough so no one can take anything away from him...surprisingly, I haven't heard from him in a long time. Maybe I unsubscribed or perhaps he's deep into his Olympic Wrestling goals...pretty impressive in itself!

He's a smart guy and overall a great marketer. And I am glad I bought the Micro Continuity course.
