Anyone used SEOhosting.com? SEOhosting vs. Host9??

After someone mentioning incorrect info about Hostgator reseller accounts here, a top tier Hostgator tech straightened out their procedure for random 5 IP selection after I asked support questions. SEOhosting was mentioned as a sister HG site.

Any opinions or recommendations of services? Others?

Thanks in advance!

I haven't used them, but wouldn't it cost less to buy a few cheap plans from different hosting providers.

    No,

i have not used "SEOHosting", but i have multiple IP hosting (reseller multi IP hosting) at Hostnine.com which is about 10x cheaper than "Seohosting".
You get 10 different IPs in different locations, all different C-Classes IPs.

SEOHosting is a must. The support and reliability are awesome.

That said, I will check out Hostnine as I have never used them and I am intrigued that they are "10x cheaper" than SEOHosting.

Well it's about 4x cheaper based on 10 IP's at Seohosting
Here's a HostNine coupon for 25% off your order. You need to order the reseller plan for multiple locations.

SEOHosting is a sister site of Hostgator, yes, and I believe this is why their support is so awesome too. I have used many hosts and still do just for variety, but I love Hostgator and SEOHosting by far. If you are looking for hosting for the multiple ip reasons then Hostnine may be the better option, but it really comes down to what you need in the packages too.

I am with H9 for way over a year already...the rare cases where i had an issue i submitted a ticket and the problem was resolved within minutes.

I am with three hosters right now, one is my VPS, one is a shared hoster in UK and one is hostnine reseller hosting and ALL of them are simply outstanding.

Edit: Ah you are talking about HG not H9...sorry still need my coffee

What do you think of Niche Simple at nichesimple.com? They provide different class A IPs as well

For a SEO stand point, do sites on different class A IP addresses tend to rank better than sites on different class C IPs?

cscapero - did you check your IPs to see if your sites are from the same location and on the same server? How slow is slow?

Ok I will try H9 reseller hosting. Are you on their $19.95 / month plan?

I have used HG before but not SEOHosting. Have you compared SEOHosting against H9?

I got in the H9 reseller hosting when they had a special deal going on, so i am paying VERY little for a "mini" plan, but this plan is not available anymore. (I think it was a promo when they started out with reseller hosting)

The $19.95/month already has more bandwidth and disk space, but is still very attractive for what you get. On my blog

Hostdaddy and GoGator step away: Very good Cheap Hosting Offer from Hostnine: Reseller, Multiple IPs, VPS, Dedi | www.1UP-SEO.com

I have the latest coupons on my blog above, so should save you some money. Since i am totally fine with my "mini" plan i am sure that the $19.95 plan is MORE than plenty...except if you have some crazy bandwidth/traffic requirements.

      <virulent rant>
After putting up with Kiosk's nonsense since August 9, 2009 and enduring frequent multi-hour (sometimes all day) downtime, I finally overcame my laziness and dumped Kiosk/GVO/whatever they're calling it now.

I finally got so fed-up with trying to log-in to one of my sites to get some work done, and ALL of them would be down.

Tech support once ignored an "emergency pager" ticket that's supposed to be used when your site's down. Ignored that sucker for like 9 hours.

It was really ridiculous, given that I was paying $45/mo for a reseller account.

The final straw was when not only were all my sites down AGAIN - but even their TECH SUPPORT site was down.

I was dumbfounded. They found me lying on the floor, dumb.

Anyhow, so on June 28, 2010 under cover of darkness so as not to alert the Boys In Bangalore, I surreptitiously moved everything over to Host9 and I haven't had a single problem since that blessed day. Not one.

I hate to talk bad about anyone or any company - lord knows doin' bidness ain't easy - but give me freakin' break.

You charge $45 a month for webhosting and you can't keep your customers's websites online?? That's ridiculous.

Oh yeah, and Host9 charges HALF that ($25/mo) and you can put your sites on any of FIVE different servers - 3 in USA, 1 in UK & 1 in Singapore. Which is supposed to help w/SEO I guess, because the 5 servers each have completely different IP addresses.

      </virulent rant>

Oh, look. Post #50. Now I can pm people.

So have I. However, I've found their stability to be a major issue recently after their switchover to a new server network. Their support is good but that doesn't keep my sites up and running and accessible to myself and visitors.

          Ouch.

What kind of problems you face? Daily downtime? Weekly?

With some server nodes I never had a problem. Others are down or inaccessible from multiple IPs on a daily basis. They've had problems with DoS attacks on some servers and I suspect their solution is a blanket approach of blocking a large range of IP addresses, such as a lot of Comcast IPs.

At least their support response has been quite good but it's gotten to be quite annoying to contact them almost daily to unblock an IP address or check on the status of a server.

I've seen downtime problems only when I put a site on the Singapore server. USA & UK servers have worked ok so far (knock wood.)

I came here because I was searching for a coupon for SEOHosting, read the thread, almost considered Host9 but now I'm gonna go to SEOHosting. It's a little high but you can also put up as many sites as you want. So it's better than the standard HG which I also use and some others.

I'd just like to find a coupon for SEOHosting before I sign.

I've been using Host Nine for a while now and find their reseller hosting to be excellent. The cheapest plan at $24.95 a month allows 100 domains.

The real advantage with them is the 5 datacentres they have - 3 US (East, West & Central), 1 UK and 1 Malaysia. They have also just introduced Cloud Hosting. In any one datacentre they have loads of servers so each of your sites will have a different IP address and if you're not happy with one you can migrate your site to a new one.

I've also had no problems running any scripts with them and have never suffered any downtime.

Go Pro with SEO Hosting get my vote.. Been with them for a while and they have always been reliable and have good customer support.

Plus, setup is a breeze, which is something I can't say for the other seo hosting company I was with beforehand.

    Cheers
