WP Lead Rocket recommended?

IS WP Lead Rocket worth the $49, or am I better off creating a squeeze page using a free template elsewhere?

A good friend of mine uses it and loves it. I personally use Optimize Press (and love it).

If you can afford it, I say buy it as long as you put it to use. In my opinion, the pages are much more attractive and appealing than the usual squeeze page. In the world of short attention spans, appearances matter and can improve your optins.

Yeah it is worth it. I bought Lead Gorrila which is the same. Lead Gorrila was sold and it's not available at this time. The concept is identical. I think LR has some better features such as backgrounds included.

I've tested the standard squeeze using Get Profits theme against the Lead Rocket concept and Lead Rocket converts best most of the time. I say most of the time because sometimes it doesn't and I have no idea why not.

I did the best when I purchased a medium sized image relevant to the niche. Make sure any image you buy isn't only in the middle because the optin box will conceal it.

I use BingAds for one traffic source. The quality score is a bit lower to a Lead Rocket squeeze vs. a traditional squeeze with a little more text. However, the clicks are still cheap.

Examples of my Lead Rocket style squeeze page conversion rates from BingAds:

    Tech niche: 47%
    Local industry niche: 34.5%
    Fitness niche: 28.1%

I used a different image for each that I purchased for $2 at DepositPhotos.com.

I'm happy I use this format and now it's my default squeeze format ... but I always test it against a more traditional squeeze.

Thanks for the response. I'm kind of torn between LR and Optimizepress. LR only offers squeeze pages, but they seem to convert more often than Optimizepress. However, Optimizepress offers a lot more, like sales page setup and such. Not sure what to do...

I second what jgant said - I have split tested Optimize Press vs LR and LR out converted every time, without exception.

It looks pretty cool! Looks like there's a 60 day money back guarantee so I'll be checking it out to see how I like it vs Profits Theme which I've been using.

You could get SalespressPro by Mark Dulisse and get the best of both worlds.

It will make Optimizepress style squeeze pages and Lead Rocket style squeeze pages. It can also do Sales pages, membership pages etc... just like Optimizepress.

Sorry I know this is an older thread, but I was wondering if anyone's tried using Lead Rocket landing pages for PPV?

I have to say that the Lead Rocket guys really know how to look after customers. The squeeze pages are refreshing especially as you get a wide range of background photos. Once you join the guys, you'll receive valuable stuff.

I love Lead Rocket. After sales support was fantastic but more importantly, I had better conversion rates than my OptimizePress squeeze pages using the same text.

Would be worth testing Lead Rocket and Optimize Press. I have both and will be testing both throughout 2013. Both deliver so whatever decision you make, you will find great uses for either product.
