"Desperate Buyers Only" Section...Question

Is that ebook being promoted by WF still viable, today? I notice the screenshots are from 2005-2006. It seems it might be a bit outdated.

Anyway, is it a useful guide? Any good reviews out there?

I got that book a few years ago and the principles still work today.

I've found that if you expand the notion of 'desperate' to those with a strong need - as will be found in Chris Rempel's book "Confessions of a Lazy Super Affiliate" - then those concepts still have enormous application.

I use the principles described in the book - though not the exact tactics - constantly in choosing niches and keywords.

    Hi guys,
I'm curious about the ebook too, are the techniques practical?

Most value is gained by learning the principles involved, rather than the techniques.

Although both books referred to in my post above contain useful techniques, when you understand the principles the authors outline you are able to more easily identify niches which are likely to have eager prospects.

Then you set up a sales system which attracts those prospects and converts them into sales. There are many different ways of doing this but it's good to have a marketing system that is able to cope even against strong competition.

Finding the prospects - eager targeted traffic - is just one part of the equation. You also need to have a system in place that will convert this.

A lot of the simpler systems soon become crowded with competitors as other marketers identify promising keywords. However, there are still ways of attracting the traffic and converting them even in competitive markets.

Ultimately you need a "cradle to grave" model that will show you how to set up a system that gets the traffic you are targeting and is effective in making them buyers.

I agree - this subject is timeless and foundational to IM, kind of like John Caples "Tested Advertising Methods" which was written in the 1920's and is still relevant today. Alexis is a very lucid communicator so it sinks in when you read it, which saves time reading other material on the same subject (unless you just love doing that). It should be read earlier than later in your training so you can approach all of your campaigns with these concepts in the back of your head.

Not one single thing is outdated in that book. It's about things which will not be outdated any time soon.

I bought this book when I was first starting out. And it is an excellent resource for finding your target market.

She gives examples of her winning ads and why they converted so well. And she offers a free consultation.

I waited six months to take advantage of that because I wanted to be able to make full use of it.

She is extremely knowledgeable and gave me great advice.

    Hope this helps...
