i'm thinking about buying traffic from a website.... what is a reasonable price to pay for non-targeted traffic? can you recommend a specific website?

Curious as to why you would even want non-targeted traffic? They're just going to click away from your site immediately. Better to spend a little more for targeted traffic that you can convert into customers.

I agree on this...you don't need just traffic. The best thing you can have is targeted traffic. From my experience even a small amount of targeted traffic can make wonders for your site....

    Hi Charlie

BUY WEB TRAFFIC | Purchase Targeted Web Visitors Increase Sales are pretty good, advertised here on the WF and I used their services.

However, how come you want to buy traffic? Especially un-targeted!

I can give you plenty of tips on how to increase your traffic organically.

    Thanks

    Dave

    Hi.

I purchased 1000 targeted. I sent them to my opt-in page just to try it out. I spread the traffic over 5 days and that week I had 26 opt ins from that traffic. So it works quite well. I think the traffic is from pop-unders when someone leaves a site.

It's worth a try - I don't really like buying traffic, prefer to go out and find it myself.

What sort of traffic are you getting at the minute - and what would you like to achieve?

I will do my best to give you some tips to create some instant results!

    Talk soon

    Dave

If you really intend on spending money for traffic.
You should buy targeted traffic. It will be worth it.

Are there any negative effect from buying traffic?

I dont think there are any negative effects, it may cause you to lose some money but no traffic is negative.

I think any traffic is good for a website, the traffic may not replicate in sales, comments or click through but at least you know that person or traffic is not the one for your site.

But I strongly think that one should spend more money and buy targeted traffic instead of cheap untargeted traffic.

Once you buy traffic for a website - you will then get banned from Adsense.

If you are not using Adsense on it - then that is fine. But you won't then be able to ever use Adsense on that domain - so think carefully first before you rush out and buy.

With regards to buying traffic - yes you can buy traffic cheap. Very cheap in fact.

There are plenty of methods that this traffic is then delivered to your site. A common one is PTC or Paid To Click.

People are getting paid 1 cent to view your website for a certain period - like 30 seconds or so.

The problem with this traffic is you don't know who is viewing it. They may not even speak English. So it is highly untargeted traffic.

Yes, you can get some opt ins from it - but you really need a good back up sales funnel to try and get a sale in the future.

A good place to buy traffic is Google Adwords, but we all know how hard that is to get working effectively for us at a good price.

Go ahead and buy 1000 hits or whatever and see how it goes. No point in wondering and it won't do your site any harm unless of course you want to use Adsense as said before.

Once you have done that, then try to drive traffic to your site using the free methods as this will teach you a lot about methods of driving traffic and you will be better off then when you try out Adwords.

There are plenty of free methods around and some of them work really well. Remember - you want targeted traffic.

Think about your potential customer - where would they hang out? Go there and participate and then your visitors will come.

You can also attract visitors through comments on blogs and articles and creating original content around your product.

Good luck and remember to aim for the centre of the target. All the best.

Instead of actually buying the traffic why not use the money to outsource some articles and then submit them to the top directories. This will actually send you targeted traffic and it won't end (the traffic will arrive indefinately) unlike the purchased traffic which is a one time buy.

traffic is like getting people to watch your stuff. We cannot get any success if we are buying this traffic. The best stuff will always attract eyeballs on the internet. Only short term benefits are achived with buying traffic. I would prefer free and long lasting traffic for long term results.
