Just heard that Mark Ling is relaunching his Affiloblueprint course later this month. Any idea what's new from the earlier version and if any affiliate has some good bonuses going around?

I'm delighted with the course. There are no earth shattering secrets. Just a sound structured course on how to construct converting affiliate websites. Mark is a well known super affiliate, so is well qualified to teach. Supplement this information with outsourcing and twelve months in the future you should be doing very well.

I recommend Affiloblueprint 2.0 to anyone who is serious about affiliate marketing.

At the price Mark is selling this, it is a BARGAIN. He could easily sell this 2 or 3 times more and it would still be worth it.

Mark over delivered with his blueprint.

Last words: getting the blueprint is a good thing, but actually taking action and make things happens is required!

    All the best Kumar.

I think AffiloBlueprint 2.0 will actually be a good product, which is surprising due to the fact that most Internet Marketing products are pretty crappy

      No, the affiloblueprint is different.

It will take you from a complete newbie to make your first commission and many others.

When I first met Mark in 2006, I was stuck at $300 per month and didn't know what to do. His affiliate marketing advice helped me tremendously, and today, I am earning way more than that.

And... I don't even use PPC. I tried my hands at Adwords and made some cash, I even tried Yahoo and MSN, but honestly, I'm not willing to spend money on PPC to promote other people's products when I can promote my own!

Bottom line, I use Mark's methods to make money from organic and web 2.0 sites.

Belive me, I undersand what you are saying when you say that PPC isn't for noobs. It's not.

With Mark's technique, you will make money, even if it takes more time than PPC.

And what is good is that while you develop your seo and web 2.0 skills, you will become a better marketer.

My advice: get the affiloblueprint because it will save you hours and money.

      All the best,

      Franck

Commission Blueprint was very heavy on PPC, I believe. Affilo Blueprint instructs more from ground up...PPC is an advanced technique taught to expedite traffic.

I had a great interview with Mark. Check out my site to access.

Overall this is very similar to 1.0. Just added some modules on WP and PPC. Of course I could've gotten this for free as a 1.0 customer, but I wanted Gauher's bonus on PayPerText so I got myself another copy of the blueprint.

i used bits and pieces of blueprint 1.0 as material for my own offline business last year, I never intended to use the course for myself. it was an offline coaching sort of deal and I've made really good money from it so I don't feel bad at all compensating Mark twice for using his material offline..

btw Gauher's bonus won't be available till after the refund period, now i gotta wait 2 months for it.

Anyway... I prefer that! I thought you bought the course and did nothing with it...

As for your bonus. hmm... delivering bonuses immediately after purchase is a must IMHO.

Mark makes more than $50K per month. He has so many top sellers on clickbank that you may be promoting one of his programs and you don't even know it...

I don't know another marketer who does what Mark Ling does.

Another proof... Mark helped me when I was starting (2 years ago), and my business increased by 300% overnight.

        Mark isn't playing game.

        All the best,

Although Mark promotes mostly paid per sales programs, what he teach can be use for CPA as well.

But Gauher's course is BETTER for cpa, there's no doubts about this.

Mark said good things about Gauher's course and even had a teleseminar with Gauher last year. It was awesome by the way.

Thank you. Yes, the reason I was asking was mostly for the price point. $197 vs $1,297. Otherwise I would have grabbed PPC Formula up during the launch.

Traffic Travis is being used in version 2 too (its free to download, by the way).

No idea if Wordpress is better for SEO and SERPs but there are lessons in the blueprint for both XSP and Wordpress.

          I wasn't sure.

          In a nutshell...

Part 1 is Mark showing you how to build an affiliate site with xsite pro, but instead of telling you HOW to di it, he build it in front of your eyes and start promoting it with free traffic techniques until he makes $500 per month.

Later on, makes more than this amount when he adds PPC to the game.

Now, in part 2, Mark added a new wordpress custom template (for affiloblueprint members only), and he also made it even more step by step, added more videos and killer bonuses.

In the affiloblueprint forum, you'll see that MANY members already made their first commission and beyond. This works. Plain and simple.

Bottom line: You build a $500-$2000 per month affiliate site, and replicate until you make $10,000 per month.

          This is it.

          Franck

Affiloblueprint is an excellent course. I have created several niche sites with this program and I am seeing good results.

One of the benefits I like is that they teach you how to build these sites using Wordpress (or HTML). This makes things easier for me and I am able to build more niches sites quicker.

If you know anything about Wordpress, you know that it makes website building a snap.

I just went ahead and bought this based on my previous experiences with reading about Mark and listening a few interviews with him. It's just a refreshing change to be taught by someone who isn't into all this guru bullshit and avoids the fluff in favor of teaching what matters. Even though the blueprint is particularly geared towards newbies and I feel myself a bit further than that, having things confirmed by him is a great help with my mindset and stops me from giving up.

I am using the affiloblueprint method. It's a good product for beginners and those that wants to get started and make some money. It's how I made my first sale. I really can't complain about it. One thing I really like about it is that it's mostly all vidoes for those that don't want to read a 300 page ebook. Plus I learn better by watching and doing at the same time. I've looked into other programs and at the end i stuck with this one but Im still learning..

As someone already said, it's very newbie targeted even though it features advanced SEO and PPC sections. That's not to say you should skip any videos because Mark always offers some personal insight in how he does things even in the early videos, and that can be invaluable advice.

But yeah, if you've been in the business already for a while and know how to make a good few sales, this product isn't for you.

That being said, I think the biggest advantage of AffiloBlueprint is that they really go and actually show you the site they make as they go along. This isn't just some guru blabbing about abstract concepts of "creating a stream of traffic" and "creating a sales funnel" and leaving you without a clue of how to actually put it into practice. This is a full hands-on approach. I absolutely love that.

I also like the way the videos are made - Mark always has an assistant on the microphone with him who essentially represents the newbie that keeps asking questions as he explains things. Some of it might be common sense - again, this isn't for you veterans out there - but it can be extremely helpful.

However the best thing for me personally is (and I think Mark should have pushed that a bit more in his marketing) the access to a dedicated forum for AffiloBlueprint members. They've got dedicated staff answering questions around the clock - including Mark himself - and there's also a "site review" section where Mark himself will chime in with an evaluation of your site. And I don't just mean 2 or 3 sentences along the lines of "Yeah, this is pretty good, keep it up" - they are REALLY working hard to give you thorough and detailed criticism.

For me that's worth the price of admission alone.

They might want to invest in some better hosting. The site has been down for several hours now. Other than that, it's a decent product, especially for newbies. If you're wondering how to get started, this is as good a place as any. You better hurry though, because I think Wednesday is the last day it will be available.

I purchased AB 1, started going through the modules and implementing the plan. When Mark Ling launched AB 2 (free to AB 1) members, I promised myself to implement the plan.

Mark's blueprint is solid but, as others have said, requires member action. Keyword research and choosing a niche caused difficulty for me and others. Mark then added another video to the first section, attempting to get newbies and others going even if their first website wasn't perfect and didn't generate reasonable income. (I noticed Mark, of late, has lowered the estimated first website ClickBank earnings to $50 per week.)

Clearly, AB 2 is not for Internet marketers who seek immediate profits. Like any business, you'll succeed to the extent you work the plan. From reading the AB forums, however, I think a lot of members are both struggling to keep up and calculating the personal time required to generate a reasonable ROI.

Affilorama is the best Internet training company I've yet found. Support and training are exceptional. Those who purchase the AB 2 course, though, must realize they're not going to make thousands of dollars per week at the start. It's a building process and members who are patient, follow the blueprint and work Mark's plan will succeed.

Mark says he'd rather see members get through the course and build their first website, rather than stumbling and stuttering to a complete halt at the beginning. This is good advice from any IM trainer.

I agree its not get rich quick scheme. I will finally have my first website finshed before the end of next week. I actually should of be alot more effort into this - ive been lazy. Once you have you website completed, mark shows you how to promote it - which again takes effort on your part. I ended up going to elance.com for articles as im way to lazy to write that many.

I only have 5 backlinks to my website, I have got alot of work yet to do. Ill update this again in 1 month. I would expect to start seeing sales by then and should have at least 250 backlinks.

Do the AB members have to post their website url on the AB forum in order to get a website critic, or can you submit a ticket and ask for a private website critic?

      The re-launch of this is 6-24-09 @ 6PM EDT.

Mark Ling is actually offering some really significant bonuses to the fist 250 people to sign up and he expects the bonuses to be gone in the 1st hour.

I am an affiliate for AffiloBlueprint but I am also a HUGE believer in this system.

I now have 2 websites that were built strictly using these principles with fantastic results!

The cool thing is even if you are a newbie, Mark will teach you all you need to know about on page and off page SEO as well as his way to find "buy keywords" that people really search for on the search engines.

It won't happen overnight, but this is something that you can really wrap your head around and implement pretty easily.

I found it took me a couple of months to get nice consistent traffic to my sites. The conversions are more and more consistent as well.

Mark also teaches you to rinse and repeat the process so that you can contract out most of the busy work and keep building affiliate sites that make $$$.

Also as an AB member, you get any new updates for free.

Overall, one of the best systems I have seen.

You guys want proof that Affiloblueprint works?

Check out my site that I made from Affiloblueprint 1.0

    www.yourownwingman.com

Go there and see for yourself.

    Mark is the real deal.

That site brings in 150 a week through SEO!

I suck at PPC, but I might look into it a bit more later.

How comes both of you are in the dating niche ? Is this a niche recommended by Mark Ling ?

You guys have so much content on your websites. I don't know if I would come up with so many ideas to write pages on. It is really a lot. I am currrently making money with a website that only has 7 pages. But of course having a side with so much content is very good for SEO. Well, keep it up with the good work.

      Hello

We're just in the dating market because it's an EVERGREEN market!

Mark tells you to buid sites in EVERGREEN niches so you don't just make a fad site.

I just happened to know about pickup and dating at the time of doing the AB course and thought to myself, "hey, if I can get paid whilst helping other guys improve their life, why not?".

As for the content, you can get most of it outsourced and created for cheap!

      PM me for details.

Yeah I agree, I picked the dating market because it had alot of products to promote. I paid for most of the articles, and keyword research was easy. Start with google, it gives you suggestions.

My site still has alot of work, this blue print does take alot of work as with almost any form on IM that I know of.

Mark Ling is a great deal. I have managed to build an affiliate site following Affiloblueprint style. It's almost complete. I am still waiting for my newsletters from my writer.
Will you add newsletters to your site?
And why you don't cloak your affiliate link?
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[953772].message }}
  • Profile picture of the author Aaron Elliott
I will ad a newsletter, posting a job today on elance. With cloaking, I just check my links when I update the site, which is very often. Also you can check your links by clicking on them.

besides that google doesnt like you cloaking/redirects and mark recommends also not to cloak.

Overall I dont think cloaking is worth the time or effort, if someone wants to hack your site and change the affiliate ID,then they probably can get around your cloaking.

Mark told us about this in a recent webinar. Plus you can also find information in the forum.

As said above, the best is to get the real "meat" by the FTC istelf. Here it is (It took me a while to read it all... don't read it all in one day)

      Start with this one: http://ftc.gov/os/2009/10/091005revi...mentguides.pdf

      Then this one: http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/busi...erce/bus41.pdf

In a nutshell, make sure that any affiliate product you promote is FTC compliant.

Also try to use the product before you recommend it (affiliate good practices anyway)

Plus make it clear that you are an affiliate and benefit from your recommendation.

ex: the above link is a sponsored advertissment for a "your niche here".

Disclaimer: this is not legal advice, I only make a suggestion.

But don't get mad on this, it's just a fact of being honest and promoting good stuff. those who are afraid about FTC rules know why...

      Franck

He doesn't even disclose properly on his own sites. He has a little footer where he says "Note: The owner of this site is an affiliate of the products promoted.". That's it.

Despite that one problem the Affiloblueprint website model is probably the best way to create affiliate sites (that I know of). The site gets pretty decent conversion rates and seo is easy.

My Affilioblueprint site is the only one that I have ever gotten into the Yahoo Directory.

Plus, when you do make a full disclosure it doesn't really matter because you have affiliate links and banners on the page anyway so people already know that you are promoting the product.

My affiliate sales didn't move an inch once I started disclosing in the body copy.

"Promoting Good stuff" is relative. Believe it or not most people believe that anything promoted on Clickbank is crap and that you are being dishonest just by promoting it. You could be brutally honest about your affiliate relationship, it doesn't really matter.

Try promoting a Clickbank offer door to door and see the kind of responses you get.

          Hi,

I first started with affiliate marketing, and now, I have my own products, and I train affiliates.

I still have affiliate sites in the affiliate marketing, education, solar panel, forex and a few other niches. I don't have that many sites because I have my own products now.

Once I got successful with affiliate marketing, I started created my products (yup, I already said that). It's just me, I prefer marketing my own stuff.

It's what I recommend by the way. Once you find a niche that makes you more money than the other, it's the time to become a merchant in this niche (it's powerful because you already have a list and targeted traffic).

The first step is to start with affiloblueprint.

          All the best,
          Franck

thanks for you response, even I thought that creating a product in the niche site that you are successful in would be an excellent move, however the more I thought about it, the more I wondered, is it actually worth it? for example I started a site around 2-3weeks ago, and the main product i am promoting is $40 paying me $30 comission, while I already think that $40 is pricey for the actual niche in question, I wonder if all the extra hassle is worth it for the extra $10, not only is it questionable whether a customer who purchased a $40 guide would purchase another around the same price(I have reviewed the first one, it more or less covers all you need to know), but also there is all the work of creating/outsourcing the product, writing/paying for a salesletter aswell as dealing with the customer services after, it makes me wonder, is it really worth it all?

                Hi Franck

thanks for your response, well alot of the niches that you can go into such as the ones I mentioned last time, yeast infection, cure back pain, dog training etc don't really lend themselves to backends or continuity, as with most of these products, the problem tends to be solved in the first purchase, and if its not, how can the consumer have faith that the next product will purchase will have the answers?

I will actually recommend you give Affilioblueprint a go. It is an excellent course for affiliate marketers. If you have no experience as an affiliate, this will get up to scratch in a step by step fashion. From my experience it should take about 12 weeks to start generating income. I will suggest also to consider outsourcing your backlinking efforts as SEO has become even more competitive since affilioblueprint 2.0 was released in 2009

                  Hey Ruchi,

                  Sorry for the late reply,

It's true that most problems can be solved in the first purchase. What you want to do is creating multiple lists (list segmentation) after someone bought from you.

Let me explain: suppose someone bought a dog training product from you (I assume he is on your list), what you will do is send an email asking if he needs a cat training solution.

Plus you can ask your subscribers what they need: you know, the famous "I need your help" email.

                  This is called cross selling.

As for your second question, if he doesn't solve the problem, here is what I'd do: Ask your customers (who bought the affiliate ebook/video) what they want, and then, just get a short report created for them (yes, it's your own product), are find another related affiliate program.

thanks for your response, well alot of the niches that you can go into such as the ones I mentioned last time, yeast infection, cure back pain, dog training etc don't really lend themselves to backends or continuity, as with most of these products, the problem tends to be solved in the first purchase, and if its not, how can the consumer have faith that the next product will purchase will have the answers?

I also use Affiloblueprint. I know it works.

It is the real deal and for the price you pay, it's seriously the best course.

Pretty much 80% of what I know was learned from that course.

Just check out my site that I made from the course: http://www.yourownwingman.com

I gotta say I was pretty impressed with affilobluprint. It really gets to the nitty gritty of setting up an affiliate site. A lot of affiliate marketing products often have something missing, but this has got everything you need to get you started, so its good for newbies.

I liked the fact that he demonstrated it all to a live audience (when he first promoted it). He followed his own course for 12 weeks and by the end his world of warcraft website was making $500 a week.

Also there's a refreshing absense of hype. Mark describes himself as a "resonably well known internet millionaire", which is accurate and true, but he doesn't make big deal about this. I thought in the video's that he comes across with integrity, gives good info and no BS.

The only negative is that it takes so long to download!! My folder was about 3GB once everything was downloaded!

Some other affiliate products are a good supplement to it, for example "confessions of a lazy super affiliate" would be a good stack.

      No.

Affiloblueprint is all about affiliate marketing. It will teach you how to create an affiliate site, bring it to the point where you make $500 per week ($2000 per month).

You create a lot of those sites, and you should make a nice income.

Do you remember about how much money that a newbie need to prepare when they start to practice the affiloblueprint methods (12 week)? maybe just a rough cost.. So when newbie like me can learn and practice the methods in the same time

the minimum costs are domain and hosting, there are optional extras which will cost more such as email marketing and ppc

              PPC is not required.

In fact, you could go with banner advertising, or even stick with seo.

As for the good step to learn IM, don't worry the affiloblueprint will get you started.

As another poster said above, it's the real deal.

    Just letting you know.

I was on the never ever ending quest to find the next hottest internet marketing product after completing affiloblueprint because I thought making a 30 page site that was going to get SEO traffic was too slow.

But then 5 months later and wasting thousands of dollars, I realized all the money that I spent buying other courses was actually funded by the profits of the Affiloblueprint sites.

So I thought to myself, I'm such an idiot, I should have just spent that money and kept making affiloblueprint sites. So that's what I started doing again.

If I didn't waste 5 months doing other useless courses and wasting thousands, I'm sure I would have made a lot more money. I have made at least 10K off Affiloblueprint in the past 12 months off only 3 sites. I spent the rest of my other time and money buying useless stuff. Imagine how much I would have made if I didn't go on a wild goose chase!

I knew absolutely nothing about internet marketing prior to affiloblueprint, so it is the best course I have done and seen to date - plus it's cheap!

i think being only an affiliate is a big disadvantage from at least two crucial points of view:
    * while you only just redirecting the potential customers to products page, you dont do list building (which is valuable if you launch simmilar products in the future)
    * while u own the product which fills up the demand on market, other 100 affiliates are selling it for you (and plus, you still get the list)

Interesting perspective, however, in some of these niches I don't see people purchasing multiple products

for example yeast infection, people want to cure it once, then its over

similarly dog training or teaching parrot how to talk, or cure back pains most guides teach all, and if they weren't successful using the guide they initially bought, why would they purchase another

although I must say, I can see what you mean about the listbuilding, however there are always ways round that, for example a lead capture on the side of the site, like mark teaches or even simple squeeze pages...

    I have a question about Affiloblueprint 2.0.

I believe this was relaunched in November and as part of the relaunch Mark was going to do a "Step-By-Step Case Study." If I am not mistaken he was going to put together an affiliate site and show his members the exact steps he took to turn it into a profitable project. Did Mark follow through with the case study and was he able to deliver an affiliate project that turned a profit with SEO generated traffic?

If the answer to the above question is "Yes" -- does this case study detail a business model that can be easily replicated by following Mark's steps?

Any input on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

      Hi Jon,

In the Affiloblueprint 2.0, You get the recording of the step by step case study you are talking about. As for the profit, yes, Mark is a seasoned pro, and it was a breeze for him to make a profit in a niche he new nothing about.

As for the step by step case study, everything is explained in detail and you will really have a hard time to find a better business model that you can actually implement. If you do EXACTLY what Mark is talking about, you should make some dollars. If you are serious, you should make a nice income from this.

I know Mark since 2006, and believe me, I am yet to see a better blueprint than his... and I bought a LOT of IM products over the year.

      All the best,
      Franck

You can't really tell someone if you work x amount of time, you'll generate cash in less than y. However, if you've already spent money on products to teach you, ask yourself what you've put into action. How are you testing? Are you?

I'd suggest that if you're new to affiliate marketing to first check out the 30 Day Challenge as this will teach you free and paid methods, and goes into large detail regarding researching your market. And it is FREE. Market research is the most important thing as without that, it won't matter what else you do. You need to find a market that has people desperate for a solution and willing to buy. Then you need proper keyword research, which the 30 Day Challenge also teaches.

Finally, I'd recommend getting the trial of Market Samurai. The keyword research module is free afterward for life. But, if you can this is one purchase I would suggest you make as it will add your efforts immeasurably.

hi, there're two affilorama programs, one is $67/monthly Premium membership program, and the other is Affiloblueprint 2.0 $197 one time payment. According to your experiences involving with Mark Ling, which one is better for an intermediate Internet Marketer? Thanks.

If you're an intermediate internet marketer then it depends on what you're good at.

Affiloblueprint teaches SEO and a bit of PPC.

Affilorama premium has a monthly news letter and has tons of resources about internet marketing, but at times they do seem a bit basic.

Having said that, if you don't know anything about SEO or PPC then Affilorama is the way to go.

My question: Have they changed their advice for finding keywords since their first edition? Have they improved on helping someone learn how to find keywords?

Also, can someone still get great customer support and step by step instructions from the one time purchase of affilioblueprint for building a thriving affiliate business without being a member of affiliorama which has the monthly fee? I hate monthly membership fees.

        Hi King,

Mark has always showed people how to find keywords.

I started online without knowing how to pick good keywords and made a lot of money. Start with your first site, drive some traffic, and get good keywords.

What's important is getting started and learning a system.

            Hey guys,
just wanted to clarify the Affilorama membership.
There are two levels, basic which is free, and Premium at $67 per month.

I always say we were really lucky to stumble onto Affiloblueprint as our first ever course, because it really is the best grounding you could ask for.
Support is amazing, the forums are available to all, Premium or free members, plus for Affiloblueprint buyers there is a separate dedicated forum.

With hindsight we went after far too difficult keywords for our first site, but we got it ranking anyway because of the backlink strategies taught.
That's why Mark Ling and the staff tell you not to worry about competition too much, just get a site up!

            Just my biased twopennorth

Yes, and that's quite a clever strategy IMO. Make us great at promoting affiliate products so we can promote his products I know some of these products, suspect some, and I'm sure there are many more out there. I don't mind though as long as I can get income from it.

Unlike JacksonLin, I haven't made money from this course but that's because I stopped working on my website due to personal situation. However, I'm sure you can do well with just Affiloblueprint as it is very detail and cover everything. I'm not a premium member btw.

Support has been great so far. There are support staff monitoring the forum and there are separate forums for AffiloBlueprint members, AffiloJetpack members, etc. There are a couple of active members also in both forums who always help newbies (like me) and give great advice. JacksonLin is one of them

That's something that I've wondered as well. I'm interested in the course not the monthly membership.

They also have a forum you are a member of when you just buy afiloblueprint 2.0 and you do not need to be a member of afilorama to be a part of this forum where you can ask questions if you get stuck.

The free access to the affiliorama site is something to sign up for.

Then before thinking about upgrading to a $67/month membership, which is pricey, you could be well served by carefully reviewing what's available for free and looking through the forums to find comments from those people who had bought the pricey membership. See if they're happy with their purchase, and if there are people really doing well with setting up sites that make some money.

Question for people that have actually made money from this: does the info still apply even after the panda update and w/e ?

Traffic has jumped on all my websites including affilo blue print sites. Panda update helps people who have quality content.
