Is this the same "Lucas Jaten"? (Luke Jaten)

Do a Google search for: Lucas Jaten and look for:
      www (dot)ftc.gov/os/2006/12/USPISActions_list.pdf

      Another result:
Rip-off Report: USResellers.Us / Digichex ripoff won't respond to email fraudulent ripoff business Internet

I have a friend that bought into "Luke Jaten's" PostCard Profits program and mailed in his $ 14.95 S&H for the "Ready-to-go Project" - and now 3-weeks later nothing? Sounds awfully familiar to the program described in the FTC listing.

      You be the judge.

I was looking at this program but am finding some different information. One website is for cd's for $299. Then there is an apprenticeship program and then the "Ready to Go Project" Gater23 mentioned and is also mentioned on Matt Trainers blog. Has anyone ordered and received any of these programs?

    Thanks

Lori - you should really go look at the sites I pointed to.
My friend got the 10 CD's along with the certificate to order the R.T.G project and now (3 weeks later) nothing.

If you read the info on Mr. Jaten, you will see history is repeating itself.

So he sells "Get rich" stuff. Who cares.

I did purchase the Postcard Profits system and it is pretty good.
That FTC link is certainly new information to me, but, luckily (I guess) I got to consume the program 1st.
Personally, none of my alarms went off with Luke Jaten, but Matt Trainer was SO overboard low-key that I almost couldn't stand it.

    Hello,

I just wanted to put my input here about Luke Jaten and Postcard Profits.

I am one of the licensees who paid $5k to become a member.

I have seen 3x my money, and the rebill rate is huge. I have personally been able to communicate with Luke Jaten and he is the real deal when it comes to postcard marketing.

That FTC thing, has to do with a company that they were involved with.

Its funny how people always look at the "bad"..

Anyways just a heads up, this is legit and real stuff.

Also got multiple emails about this new program....did some of my own homework and found something interesting.

      >> In his recent video (with "Randy"), mentions Randy lives in Missouri.
      >> In his second video, with the lady in Portland, he mentions the "Push 1 Method" as part of his process

I Google'd the "Push 1 Method" and came across a blog (from a guy name Randy in Kansas City) - but here is the weird part. Randy mentions in his blog that his company is in Wyoming, supposedly where Luke runs his business from.

Here is a link to a copy of check, made to Randy, from Postcard Profits
      http: // randymakesmoney.com/?p=42

Another interesting point is that in the video with Randy, Luke is wearing a blue shirt with red logo. Then he ends the video "back in the office" and happens to be wearing the same shirt (?). I guess it is possible that he left Kansas City, went back to Wyoming and filmed the end of the video.

Not sure about the legitimacy of this program based on some of the "sleuthing" I have done...

      Thoughts?

I ordered Juke Jaten's Postcard Profits course. I received it promptly. I also received the bonus i qualified for by making one payment as opposed to three smaller payments. The course is excellent. The course includes specific techniques Jasten suggests for every step of the process. He explains that every "project" does not make money. He suggests methods by which to minimize risk. My suggestion is this: don't worry about what color shirt he's wearing in some video. I ordered a postcard marketing course, and that's what Jaten delivered.

You registered in 2008 and today is your 1st Post?

All I can say is Postcards kick major a$$, regardless of who is selling a course.

Direct Mail is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off since everyone is now Online, so people are receiving fewer mail pieces which means you have a really good chance of someone reading your message.

Your List is critical, you must send the right message to the right list or forget it. Some of THE most successful Marketers in History made their money thru Direct Mail. See my mentor Gary Halbert in my Sig.

I am very curious about this Luke Jaten PostcardProfits direct marketing course

      https://postcardprofits.com/

and I have a question about it as someone is willing to sell me a licenced copy of this course for a tiny fraction of the price he quotes on the website.

Do you think his program can be applied outside of the US or is it specifically for use in the United States only?

Is there a way it can be turned around and applied in other countries (the E.U. in my case).

Thank you very much in advance for your answers.

Doing a search, I noticed that there is a Warrior by the name of Maria Gudelis who was selling a WSO with a program quite similar to this. Apparently she had some rave reviews on her WSO. Looks like this WSO has long expired.

She might be a good person to contact. She is in the know and she is a real pro. Some seem to be making BIG money with the postcard thing.

I also have postcard for profits did the 9$ trial offer the information was very good. I felt Luke should've given an option of a mp3 download, but that's my opinion he really goes in to detail in regards to setting up a campaign, and he does it in layman's term. My only issue was he didn't give any solid ideas on what to market, If you already have a product to market it is well worth the money.

pchainey ... Luke does show you how to find a market to
sell to. Listen to his video again.

He goes into how to find hungry markets, which is the key.

I ordered the postcard profits course for the $9.00 trial as well. I found the information very informative. The only reason i opted to return the information, is due to time restraint. To take on product creation, training someone to take the calls(push 1), shipment of the product, etc. is just not something i can do right now, as i am still in a j.o.b. His integrity? Try this on for size. I returned the product, he refunded me the $9.00 shipping charge. Doesn't sound like a crook to me.
      {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[1098322].message }}
  • Bought it...tried it...returned it. Rehashed information, nothing unique, with the exception of the 'push 1' method.

Tested it myself with a 10k drop on a product that I've successfully been selling for a decade via a 4 page sales letter, just converted the copy into an 8 minute recording message...

    The results...

$1478.00 in live operator and 800# minutes...
    $4500.00 to mail 10k postcards...($1,600 total return)...

    That's my 2 cents!

I sent for the CD program too and just heard the first two CD's. It is not a bad program. I would rather market my services and products through the blog system I current have up. I returned it with no problems.....

No knock on Luke Jaten's product. I think it will work as described, but not typically as his "star" pupils have done. I tend to think he is interviewing the cream of the crop people who have the money to put into it. Be it known, you have the expense of post cards, postage, printing, leads lists, phone operators, and website costs. So you should be ready to fork up some "investment" cash.

      Regards,

      Bruce

I friggin love postcards. Made me lots o money and I am really lazy but it's nice to know when I want to make some cash I can just send out a card and it starts coming in.

I had a WSO for postcard marketing that I am not sure is still on the forum or now. Either way postcards are great.

I haven't bought Lukes stuff but I did follow his product launch and admit he's got big ones for asking 5k for a license BUT know it was successful.

All I can add is that I bought the $300 course a couple of weeks a go. The information is great and useful but still leaves out a lot of detail. I don't have any enough information to get a project started. In the course Luke mentions email me for this, email me for that but Luke has yet to reply with any help or direction. The only contact I received was from a call center wanting me to purchase personal coaching for $3,000 plus needed a minimum of $1,000 to launch the first project.

I still hope Luke or someone from his staff contacts me or at least answers my email. I will gladly post when and if someone from Post Card Profits does. I do think the course is good but not $300 worth. There is better information here in the forum with more support and help.

Just my two cents for now.

I thought their lead up to the sales pitch was done very well. I have to admit I was looking forward to their next email. When I received the sales pitch I was interested, but I seem to be a bit skeptical of spending money on mail outs. I know what I do with the postcards from the Car Dealers and I would think the same thing would happen too, with them, but I understand they are very targeted to the prospect. I think it might be worth a try if you have the time to kick off a campaign with it.

I would be interested in hearing from anyone else who actually bought the course and is having success. I still haven't heard from Luke Jaten. I 'm thinking of returning the course. I'm a little disapointed that there really isn't any support unless I sign up for the $3K coaching.

I ordered Juke Jaten's Postcard Profits course but then read the bad press and tried to contect him via email to cancel the order .I never gota reply.

The course was sent out on the 12th and i get billed on the 25th . So much for the 30 days to check it out risk free.

I won't comment on the course but what i will say is this :the customer service certainly isn't good.

I want to return the course but how can i if i don't know where to return it?

Does any body have an email address that they can contact him on that gets responded to?

      Thanks

Just an update. I never received a reply from Luke Jaten but Support did email me. I'm sending my course back. Support said they really couldn't give any suggestions or help but they recommended the Coaching Program.

Has anyone joined the Postcard Profits Coaching Program? Can anyone give a little insight and feedback?

    Thanks
