Nanacast Experiences?

Hi Guys and Girls,

Well ive been using Nanacast for a few days now in preparation for releasing a membership site, and our JV partners have told us to use nanacast for the affiliate tracking which is seems to do very well and has some pretty powerful features.

My issue is, ive look at kajabi and sitesales ( now PrometheusApp.com, i even have a lifetime account with them ) Both are very good at creating sexy member ship sites with member dashboards but neither can use Nanacast as the external cart for affiliate tracking which seems to be the only way to use Nanacast as an affiliate tracking software is it has to be the cart due to its extra tracking ability around IP etc obviously cookies arent reliable enough.

SO... My question for you guys is... For People who use Nanacast membership sites do you...
A, Put up with the basic membership area, That is no where near as easy to make compared to alot of other membership platforms. Id rather have them log into a welcome page and have access to products via a menu or that page but all they get is a page that has their purchases which is not very welcoming.

B, Use Wordpress with the Member-lock plugin, I used this with Optimizepress but couldnt drip content... Is their a better way? Different theme other then optimize press that works well with nanacast/Member-lock plugin? Or Optimizepress --> DAP --> Nanacast????

C, Have managed to customize the nanacast membership settings so it looks pretty descent? Care to enlighten me? I would love to see what people have done with their native nanacast membership sites, let me know if you have a free sign up so i can have a look

Im locked into Nanacast as the cart/aff tracking so how can i make nice looking functional membership sites and still use Nanacast for the Cart/Aff tracking without manually importing csv files from nanacast into other membership software????

Id prefer if nanacast membership site customization was a lot easier and more flexible and pretty when it comes to welcome page / menus etc etc like kajabi and optimizepress is so does anyone have any tips or templates??

Love to hear everyone's thoughts... Feel free to correct me on anything above if i am mistaken..

That is the easy part Im a firm believer in over delivering.

Making nanacast native membership platform a bit more friendly for visitors and look more professional is a nice to have which would be really nice to have

So if anyone uses nanacast then im keen to hear how.

You can still use Nanacast's Affiliate tracking with any other membership site.
    1. Simply create your salespage on Kajabi.
    2. Embed a Nanacast button on the Kajabi salespage.
    3. Customers will pay via Nanacast checkout.
    4. On the thank you page, put a link to your membership on Kajabi. Make sure it's a free membership since they already paid at Nanacast.
    5. Done. You can now tracks affiliates and sales on Nanacast but deliver the membership content at Kajabi or whatever. Just keep in mind that buyers can share your "signup" link at Kajabi.

I setup my Membership sites in Nanacast. I like the fact they login and see a list of all the purchases they've made. Then they simply click "Access the Content" and everything is organized by Chapter/Episode (Category/Page).

Now...out of the box, is it the most beautiful membership site in the world? No. Has a single customer of mine or my client's complained? No. It's dead easy for customers to access content and drip it out on Nanacast. And everything is in ONE place for my customers and myself. Plus Nanacast can ship/drip physical CDs/DVDs (Kunaki/Vervante) and Books (Vervante) also.

Nanacast is also taking the membership traffic load off my WordPress website.

I never use WordPress to drip or handle any Membership features. I offload everything to Nanacast. My WordPress site needs to remain as fast as possible for incoming traffic, sales and ranking. Some of the more popular WP membership plugins dragged my website down from a 6 second load time to 18 seconds.

The membership can be customized using CSS.
I personally don't bother. I put a banner up top and I'm done.

I explained this in my first reply.

    Also covered in previous reply.

Nanacast is powerful for affiliates. You can create coupons for one particular affiliate that raise/lower the affiliate's commission and even delivers bonuses or secret pages to the customer invisible. It's an incredibly powerful.

Something to keep in mind regarding nanacast memberships... is that while we do not yet provide a variety of "pretty" templates like some of the other solutions you mentioned to... we DO provide the most customizable membership solution available on the market.

In other words... we are the one company that provides a solution that allows you to create a membership site and content areas that can look exactly how you want them to... You are not limited to a "this is how it is" solution. If you can dream it you can create it. Here is the documentation and demo explaining how:

      Nanacast CSS Membership Customization

Sure that does take a little more work on the design end but it does give you more control over how your site looks and feels and you can change or update or redesign your membership at any time. Since you can improve or 100% customize your design you also should keep in mind that its completely ok to go with the Nanacast default system and then move to the 100% custom designed content later which will allow you to develop your business/membership as you go without interrupting your subscribers and without having to migrate or change platforms later.

Additionally the long term benefits of centralization and mastering the process can be huge for your company considering the benefits we offer on the marketing side with integrated affiliate programs, upsells and downsells with built in split testing, and the proven higher conversion rates of our checkout process. These benefits alone have doubled, tripled, and quadrupled many businesses and for some the checkout process alone has increased conversion rates by as much as 100%

And as has already been noted... if you do need to use wordpress with some theme or even a platform like Kajabi... you CAN use many of those solutions IF you integrate using our API and whatever API that those solutions offer or if they are compatible with our plugin.

If you need assistance with custom integration and "prettying" up your memberships consultants like Jesus Perez (who posted above) are excellent to work with and have years of experience assisting successful businesses with their Nanacast integrations. Brian Johnson is also a good designer with lots of Nanacast membership css and html customization: http://www.minisitemojo.com/portfolio/

        Thanks guys for the replies.

Im liking Nanacast so far, in fact my trial just ran out and purchased

Currently im using Nanacast into wishlist so i have the best of both worlds being pretty front end and very powerful backend

Only issue i have is all the users created from Nanacast are being created with Seq=off so none of the drip works But that could be the plugin that joins Nanacast and Wishlist's doing.

I may have another go at making a native nanacast membership look better and try that on it's own, one of these days...

    Hi,

On Nanacast Pricing table is says "CName for Memberships" ->hover over-> "Customize membership URL", What does it mean EXACTLY? On Viral pricing plan it says NO. So will my membership url be something like www.nanacast.com/whatever or my own domain URL?

Tracking; It does not tell much about it on features page. Does it have internal tracking for converts...can I track upsells? "Lifetime" value of customer? etc. Tracking with one click upsell funnels? How about funnel that uses PayPal (not true one click upsell) Does it integrate with third party tracking software solutions and how well? etc.etc.

I would have squeezepages and salespages on my WP blog and take customers to membership sites and other product delivery by Nanacast from there. Nanacast has buy buttons (customizable?) that I can simply put on my salespage on blog, right? I use CPVLab for tracking...any experiences of integrating it with Nanacast? How does the affiliate tracking on Nanacast integrates with all the other tracking mentioned? Do I even need CPVLab (or any other tracking software) with Nanacast?

Lots of questions I know...(and probably more to come)..any relevant advice appreciated that has something to do with TECHNICAL solution. (Please dont give advice like "Focus on sales..." etc. I have different coaches for that and I AM selling on my current platform but it lacks good tracking functions)
I have tested MANY solutions for membership sites with bunch of different tracking solutions but have not found any real solution yet. I know there is NO perfect solution, I just try find a working solution with working TRACKING SYSTEM because vast majority of my traffic is paid traffic and it is critical to track the converts properly. Thanks.

Here is a few of your questions answered.

CName Means you can Delivery their memberships from www.yourdomain.com

      www.nanacast.com/whatever Correct

Does it have internal tracking for converts...can I track upsells? Definitely

Yes Nanacast has buy buttons that are customizable. You just upload your own if you don't like one of theirs.

that I can simply put on my salespage on blog, right? You can embed nanacast forms any where you like just copy and past the code provided.

So you put their form in your site for the first step of checkout in your form. You can customize every thing pretty much . We use it everywhere if you want to check how its implemented. Online Yoga Videos, Yoga at Home, How to Do Yoga Video | Yogasync.tv - Yogasync

      Hi Taika,

It is important to note that what you appear to be seeking is a tracking system for tracking your paid traffic advertising...

That is easily done using any third party tracking system you want. Google analytics for example.

Of course Nanacast offers many robust features and stats for tracking as well. We offer built in split testing of upsells etc. Our affiliate tracking system provides the ability for affiliates to create link tracking campaigns for more finite stats and you can create unlimited link tracking campaigs for your various offers so that you can track multiple traffic sources or ad campaigns for the same offer. That particular tracking is designed for use by affiliates but we do have users that sign up for their own affiliate program and use our link tracking campaigns to track their own advertising. Additionally our link tracking campaigns support sub ID tracking on the fly meaning you can add a sub ID to the end of a tracking url to create a seperate tracking campaign on the fly.

The best thing to do is sign up for Nanacast and try it your self. There is a free trial available on the website.

Additionally I recommend asking ALL future nanacast feature and support related questions on our support desk at support.nanacast.com where our in house support team can provide you the most detailed and specific answers your questions.
