RSS Bot or other software?

I am literally using RSSBot as we speak so needless to say I thought this was the easiest. Today is my first day using it but seems easy enough. All you do is set up and account, enter your feeds and that's it! It goes to each of the sites and then every now and then you will have to enter the CAPTCHA code for a site so you can't leave but you can do other things. Like right now I am writing this but had to enter codes about 4 times. For the $ though, I didn't see anything else this efficient. PM me if you have any other questions.

Can't tell you about alternatives but this does exactly what I need it to do and it works. It's just one tool to get the word out about your content. I've witnessed results (higher rankings) by submitting my feeds for blogs and regular websites.

Just don't expect miracles and understand there is a process and you will like the software.

What does RSSBot do actually vs. PINGin or is that what its doing?
So it will take a list of feeds - like say 200 of them? and Submit them to ???

What about pinging them?

I've used RSS Submit for a long time and have been satisfied with it. Haven't tried any RSS Bot so to speak, but it's definitely beneficial to have a program that automatically submits your blog to RSS directories.

What does THAT do actually? Does it alert the spiders to crawl back over to the site originating the feed>

RSSBot submits your RSS feed to a listing of RSS Feed Aggregators (can't recall how many are within the system). I does have a ping feature too! That' pretty much it. Just saves you time.

I use it for every new feed I get and
it works very well and easily!

Of all the software I've used, I like this one alot
because of the power of submitting your feed.

Nothing, but that just pings your blog's main RSS feed - with RSSBot you can
ping any RSS feed (e.g. individual category or tag feeds).

If you add RSS feeds to your static sites, you can ping them with RSSBot.

If you take all your various feeds (from all your blogs and sites) and create custom mashups to create new feeds, you can ping those with RSSBot.

This looks like a great product... now I will have a tough time paying full price when I know I just missed the $7.77 sale! I'll have to wait around and see if a good deal pops up again in the near future.

I love RSSBot. In fact, I love all the Icanasoft products. I bought about 7 of them six months ago, or so, when they were having a sale -- I think I paid $7 per product.
There are very simple instructions.

I like the SocialBot program, too.

I have no affiliate link to them, so I have no mentary interest. I just really like these products. They are produced by a couple of great guys in Greece. And they have great customer service. You will receive a reply the same day you make an inquiry. And they send you free updates.

RssBot is only good on WinXP or Vista - else Id likely own it already. Mac, Linux/Ubuntu and Win2k users are SOL.

I would likely own one of these OTHER RSS products if someone would actually explain - like in a FREE report .... WHAT submitting my blogs & sites RSS feeds would actually do for me. I see it will save me time submitting. I get that.

Yes I know it needs to be done.

Its a a good thing to do .. but why?

How to best leverage it & my feeds.

I want to use it for BACKLINK generation for over 500 mini blog feeds. How/Why? Mash them all into one? 500 seperate?

same here. I was waiting for the price drop to $7 (never notified by email) and on those particular days I was doing my taxes. Jeez !!! I probably would've bought 2 products

Also, what strategy is there for RSS feed submissions?
how many times do you submit the same feed; only once?

One of the aggregators says feed already submitted when I try to resubmit the same feed URL.

So, why buy it if I will have only "X" amount of feeds and I am done.

I know it saves time but if there are only 5 worthwhile to send you traffic and backlinks why do it..
