Matt Callen's MyArticleNetwork

I can't get online or check my email without buying something anymore... grrrr. Big Mike emailed a sweet tax day deal this morning that snagged me.

Anyway, Matt Callen's new MyArticleNetwork launched 90 minutes ago and I was on some "early bird" list so got a great squeeze email prompting me to "sign up fast". I jumped on Warrior forums, as I have now been trained, and couldn't find any reviews on it but nothing really bad to say about Matt.

http://www.myarticlenetwork.com (NOT an affiliate link btw)

Early sign up cost is $47/month and idea is that your content will go out to a network of over 10,000 blogs and get 1-way backlinks. Being a newbie who is getting tired of wasting dough on PPC and trying to focus more on SEO, I caved after about 15 minutes and signed up.

Anyone else? any thoughts - good or bad?

    I bought.

Interesting thing is that it is the exact same script/software that PLRPro Article Marketing Automation is using. Now I have to open tickets up to make sure that they aren't both selling me the same network.

Sometimes I hate software that is generic and rebranded.

Hi, I can tell you that it is the same network. However, the reason Matt partnered with Marc was to bring in a much larger network of sites for members. It was already very large, but this takes the network to an entirely new level that was much more difficult, if not impossible to get to otherwise... simply because they each bring in users from different areas of internet marketing.

More sites = better search engine rankings for members.

And with Matt and the PLRPro gang partnering, this network is, by far, the largest of its kind.

I use the network to help rank many of my sites and it works VERY well. I also promoted the launch today and included my SEO Mindset eBook ($97) as a bonus because I strongly believe in the program... because I've seen results personally.

If you were already a member of the PLR pro one, you know it works, and I can tell you that you can expect even better results now because there are ALOT more sites in the network after this launch.

The only negative to this is, as Tony noted, if you're a member of both, you'll need to cancel one of them. Doesn't matter which one because they're the same.

Obviously, with any rebranding there might be some rare instances of overlap, but both offer money back guarantees. The only thing I might suggest to Matt and Marc is that they mention within their member's area that they are the same network as xyz, so users don't mistakenly pay for the same membership twice. But that's up to them.

That's about all I know. Hope that helps.

Hi Brad, can you answer a couple of questions that I could not find in the sales letter?

        1) Is there a list of niches anywhere? When we want to submit an article, do we select the niche (and what if it is not available) or does it broadcast to all the sites? I know it says 10K sites, but what if my niche is "turtle farming" (just an example)?
        2) is there a limit to the number of submits I can do or a limit to the number of my sites that I can promote in any way? If I have 5-10 or even a hundred different sites/niches, am I limited? Either in # of submits or by being allowed to only have 1 or a certain limit of authors or author resource boxes?
        3) how would this do (SEO wise) for promoting a local business - say a dry cleaner in Dallas or whatever?

Thanks a ton. I think this is a very promising idea.
PS - I'll be going through your link - nice bonus offer.

no one yet cos it's not ready... article blog poster should be ready hopefully by the end of the month, but you know programmers...

it's so complex, there's nothing out there like it, not even myarticlenetwork, it has far more services included, plus it's cheaper...

we're at about 800,000 lines of code right now. 20 servers on back up, plus 50,000 unique ip addresses ready to be put at work.

we anticipate within say 6 months, or 12 at max, there should be around 300,000 - 500,000 websites in the network.

My programmer created a script that hunts out domains based on keywords and automatically purchases them through his domain registrar (he's also a website host too).

Can't say too much about what it does, cos M.A.N has already taken a few of my ideas from a preview video I launched a while back. kinda peed me off really... oh hum... I guess there's no love when it comes to business.

but congrats to Matt and his Biz partner on getting it up and running though. but watch out... Loz is coming with a killer

    Thanks Brad,

That was the info I was looking for. Same price for both so I'll have to cancel Matt's since I've been in Marc's side for a few months already.

I think that would be a good tip for them to add to the members area. It seems it might be likely that some of us looking for this type of functionality would like it as many times as possible.

The site crashed this afternoon (i'm sure due to the launch) but is up now and I just went through all of the material. From what I gather, you dont' get to see a list of websites that your content goes out to and there's no list of niches. The only "proof" is in your seo results, which i'm not knocking at all....seems to be working.

I am going to start submitting some articles on there tomorrow.

Brad...if you log in again. I have a bunch of your products (am going through the SEO Elite course right now) but didn't get your email about your bonus until 3:30 today, otherwise would have bought through your link.

Hey, cool. The SEO Elite course should definitely get you started in the right direction. You can direct message me if you have any questions and i'll be happy to help.

About the server crashing, yeah, it was when I'd mailed out to tell everyone about it. It's back up now. About the 3:30 time when you received it, it was because aweber is VERY VERY slow these days. I actually queued the email at 11:50 and it took over 3 hours for it to be sent. I definitely wouldn't recommend aweber these days.

To answer the other questions you guys have, I'm afraid I don't really know alot of details. I have Jason who works with me submit our sites and then I just track the results. I do know there are a ton of different categories and I'm pretty sure you can submit as much as you want. I'd be confident in saying there will be a good amount of sites related to your niche. If not, you can always cancel and refund if you're not happy.

I know you can select the types of sites your articles will appear on. If that wasn't the case, I wouldn't use it.

If you're trying to rank locally, it's VERY easy because of such low competition. People are only starting to understand how easy it is to rank for local terms. Right now, it's very easy.

Alrighty, I think that answers everything. Any other questions, you might ask them. I'm just a user, who pays an employee to use it, so probably not the best person to ask about any other detailed specifics. I just know it works :-)

          Yep, you're correct.

MyArticleNetwork is different from most all of the other "article submitters", in that it submits your articles to real blogs submitted by real people within our large network, of which most sites are on different I.P addresses (better SEO).

So you can submit your articles to whatever niche categories you choose. There's no "about the author" section of the articles. You can just put your backlink DIRECTLY into the body of the article several times. What I personally really like (when I submit my own articles) is that you can use anchor text for the keyword that you're trying to target and rank for, right in the body of the content...and you can actually "spin" the anchor text to increase the keyword targeting too. So you aren't limited to the little "about the author" section that most all traditional article directories allow.

Here's the FAQ we give our members for submitting articles: Article Submission FAQ MyArticleNetwork.com

What a lot of people forget about is that there is also a 2nd side of the network where you can add your own blog/site and have content auto-posted to it.

If you've got some more questions, feel free to post here.

If it's the same network and interface as Article Marketing Automation, then it's definitely a worthwhile product. The spinner is the easiest and most flexible I have used, yet it still allows you to produce readable spun articles. The network of blogs seems pretty diverse too. There are definitely already blogs in the network with good PR (including a couple of my own), so the links are pretty powerful. I love that you can place the anchor text in context too, without having to place it in an "author box" at the bottom.

If you dread writing articles as much as I do, this is a great way to get bang for your buck, as just one can get you several hundred quality links over a few months time. The spinning unique content does seem to help too, as I've seen backlinks build and stick quite a bit better than with the other mass article submission site I use.

I do currently still use Article Marketer as well to achieve the widest distribution possible, however I really wish A.M.would stop requiring you to stick with one author name, as that is rather limiting and leaves a big footprint.

I was thinking of signing up for a service such as this in order to get a lot of easy backlinks. I have seen several similar services, but this one seems to offer the biggest network of blogs.

Also the package of features provided by PLRpro.com looks great. Not sure if all of the modules work as described but certainly gives a lot to consider.

    Thanks for the info.

It told me there was a problem with my paypal (but I got a receipt) and I was asked to set up sites to publish articles on.

But I don't want to publish, I want to sumbit

When I clicked on submit articles, it asked me to upgrade for $47 more...

Is this right? I don't want to publish articles, I want to submit them

I jumped in with Brad's link as well. I love Brad's stuff.

The only downside of the program is that you don't
know where your articles are published and the only
proof is a search engine search. Also publication is
NOT automatic since your articles have to be manually
approved by the owner of the blog.

Anyway the test of the pudding is in the eating. This
is worth a try and a month is long enough to find out
    if it works.

That's partially true. There are actually 2 options for site/blog owners. They have the options to set it up so that the articles are auto-approved on their blogs... OR ... they can choose to moderate the articles that come in.

This is good for a couple reasons...
      - It's bad SEO technique to post all of your articles onto blogs at the exact same time. So by having this "moderating" system in place, it ensures that your articles are distributed and posted at random times. So it doesn't raise any red flags to Google. (this is also in addition to the random distribution of all articles throughout the network). The more it looks like humans posting the articles, the better. And from experience with this, it has worked VERY well for our members (and us).

      - the site owners ensure that quality articles are being posted to their blogs (this usually isn't a problem, but at least the option is there).

      Hi Matt,

      A few questions for you.

      1. How long do you anticipate the $47 / month offer being available?

      2. Can you give at least a "general" time frame a person could expect to see a top ranking? Just an idea of what you've seen with your own sites and those of your members. I mean if I were targeting a term with say 2.5 million site competitors (broad match not phrase) and submitted one article to the members on the first of the month what would b my odds of a #1 ranking (main stream health not obscure niche) with just one article submission and what time frame?

      3. If we wanted to add a blog site to the network does it have to have PR first before it can be added or can it be brand spanking new?

      4. Is there a way to see the PR of the blogs in the network? I don't mean give out the URL's, but rather is there an ongoing tally of blogs in the network and then a PR number next to them such as....

      10,000 total blogs
      PR7 - 500
      PR6 - 1,000
      PR5 - 1,000
      PR4 - 600

        OK... I've got a question.

How different is MyArticleNetwork from a service such as Syndicate Kahuna? Which you can find here: links.speakingbadger.com/kahuna. Or the multitude of other networks that are a part of that system?

The only differences I see on the surface is that one is free to use the content, while they both cost to post it. It seems that MyArticleNetwork costs $20 less per month for the privilege of posting your articles, while Syndicate Kahuna doesn't require any money just to use the articles as extra postings on your blog...

Are there other differences I don't know about??

As your posts will be appearing on their own pages the PR of the index page is pretty much an irrelevance. If you 'promote your promotions' by building links to the articles that you can find through a search then your individual articles will be building PR.
On my article sites, where folks are doing this, I sometimes see higher PR on the internal pages than on the index page.
Within the AMA network there is a huge variance in types of blogs. Some are loved and cared for and others are backlink machines. You do not choose which sites get your articles but with many, many thousands of sites you will get a mixture that reflects the overall distribution of sites in the system.

        This is a cool network.

        Thanks,

        Stephen
        Hi Stephen,
        Thanks for the questions...
        1. I can't give a specific time frame because we don't have one set in stone. I'd recommend getting in now while the price is at the lowest that it will probably ever be, and start using it sooner than later. You can't get anything out of it if you're not using it.

        2. This is a hard one to answer because there are so many variables (i.e. how many articles you submit, how well your rewrites are with the spin-versions, how often you submit articles, what anchor text you use, what keywords you're trying to rank for, how old/new your website is that you're trying to rank high for, how many backlinks your site already has, etc etc...). We put up a few testimonials from users to give a general idea of what you could expect if you use the system. These results are after just a few weeks of using it. They're mentioned on the salespage. It really comes down to "The more you use it, the faster and better your results will be. " I know that's a vague answer, and maybe not exactly what you were looking for. But the system works great... that's a fact. So it comes down to how much and at what quality you're using it.

        3. You can add any blog site that you've got, as long as it meets our remote-posting requirements. It doesn't matter how new or old it is.

        4. Andrew answered your PR question well.

        Thanks!
        Matt

I just wanted to comment that I joined MyArticleNetwork yesterday and so far I'm impressed with the interface, the ease of submission and the initial results of my articles getting published (obviously, it's too early to see results of better rankings).

First, I really like the interface for rewriting articles. I had watched the video a week or two ago and knew that the "sentence rewrite" feature would be ideal for me. For some reason, I've never enjoyed messing with having to insert brackets and keeping all the code straight. But having the individual sentences pop up for rewrite really suits me. (For those who like inserting the brackets, this is also an option.)

I like that I don't need to create author resource boxes. My articles are just sent out as anonymous blog posts for publishers to accept on their blogs. And I can have up to three hyperlinks with anchor text in each article.

Yesterday, I added three original articles that I'd already had accepted on EZA. I spent maybe 30 minutes with each one (if that), rewriting enough of the sentences so that when I previewed my spun articles, they were at least 80% rewritten. Then I submitted them for publication.

As of right now, less than 24 hours later, two of the articles have been published 3 times each, and the third article published one time (a less popular niche).

I really like it and think I'll be using it quite a bit.

Just some feedback, I'm in the network since the 17th, posted about 10 articles, got about 80 articles posted, in principal thats great, 80x3 =240 backlinks... however I've started to do some checking, found two of my articles on 2 blogs, one just posted a snipet, no links, the other has REMOVED my links and substituted their own links.

I realize this is early days and may not be a true reflection of the quality of the blog network and of course this not a complaint about the owners, I know there are always those who will cheat and spam everyone... I'll give it 30 days and see if I get any real backlinks!

    Hi,
This is something that is monitored. These people get reported to us, we immediately tell them to fix it, and if they commit the offense repeatedly they are banned from the system. It doesn't happen very often, most people are honest... but as you mentioned, with everything there are always going to be a few bad apples.

One thing to remember is that since your article goes out to MANY websites, one here or there may happen, but as they are reported we remove the offending owner out of the system.

If this has happened to you, please send me a PM here or send a support ticket to Support Desk and we'll take care of it for you asap.

    Thanks,

Personally, I would probably reject the article at first rather than tinkering with the links afterwards.

I took delivering of a few articles over the weekend and rejected a couple that just pointed to a adsense farm site.

I was thinking for the last one week whether MyArticleNetwork is a good replacement for Linkvana which cost $147 a month.

After reading through I finally decide Linkvana is a better option for SEO purposes.

    Anyone has any different opinion?

I'll give an opinion in 30 days, should be enough time to see if this system will produce any real back links, if most of the sites turnout to be adsense blog farms I will be quitting, but for now I'll wait and see

I agree Ken - poor quality links is no good for me and I'll do the same.

I have actually found a couple of my artices with links intact on a PR2 blog(set up a google alert for a phrase that comes early in your article and don't spin that phrase - so you can find it easier)

Just wondering how many of you accepting articles have switched wordpress to dofollow and what sort of sites you are using?

My answers are yes and a few domains that I picked up as expired with links and PR/traffic.

This is a handsfree way to keep them ticking over.

          Update:

I've received four more pingbacks. 3 are from zero PR blogs - I have no problem with that. I don't care if they are zero or 1-10 but I do care if they are not indexed.

In case you aren't sure - I'm not going by the page the article is on but going to the blogs main page to check for PR - If that page says no page rank (that is different than zero page rank) then it is a problem in my opinion. It means the blog is not indexed.

So, I received pingbacks from 3 pr0 blogs and 1 no page rank blog - which was actually on a subdomain of a pr 4 site.

I Still stand by my original complaint that low value answers from any help desk are very annoying.

However, I think in the long run this network could be a good one. I'm sticking it out, but I am disappointed that Brad or Matt didn't respond to the earlier posts about my question.

I'm guessing that they have no idea how many blogs in the network have no page rank or a 0- 9 page rank. That would be my guess as to the no response on my post. But I'm speculating, I don't know.

Again, I don't mind the zero pr postings - my concern is no pr postings.

Judging on people's comments they are not understanding the difference between no page rank and zero page rank.

There are many good potential reasons why this network may work out. Just wish I could get answers to my questions.

I don't intend to be negative, I'm just interested in the truth and knowledge.

I hope everyone can understand that. Sorry if you perceive me as casting a negative shadow on things. If I had a better way to get answers via the help desk, I would never have posted about this in the first place.

On the other hand, it is a good discussion to learn from.

I'd like to weigh in on this conversation.

I started using Matt Callen's article network about a week ago. I added an indexed blog that supports my online store, and I published one article to the network.

Up until this time, I had been unable to get further than a Google ranking of mid 30's for my primary keywords associated with my online store.

Three days after starting with this article network, my top two (relatively competitive) keywords moved up to a 7th position and 10th position (first page) ranking in Google.

I can't specifically attribute this change to anything other than Matt's service.

In my opinion (knowledgeable but not an SEO expert), Brad's service provides a one/two punch, in that backlinks are beginning to appear from related blogs, and my own blog is generating more posts and on a more regular basis.

I can't be absolutely certain that Brad's service made this ranking change happen, but I'm quite willing to give it the benefit of doubt.

Try navigating to Google and use the command site:"domainname.com" to check out if a site is indexed or not. If you come across is a domain that has "no information on PR", that doesn't necessarily mean that the page is not in Google's index.

Hi Kenwarrior - A pingback is nothing more than an automatically generated notification that shows up inside your blog when another blog references a page on your blog with a link AND chooses to notify your blog about this.

It shows up as a 'comment' but obviously isn't like comments that people come and post on your blog.

Hope that explanation helped a bit?

The content goes directly in the system as a blog post, not a comment. Wordpress by default DOES NOT "no-follow" those links because the posts that you will be making on the blogs in our network are exactly the same as if the owner of that blog was making their own post... but with your backlinks.

Therefore, the links will show up regardless of the "dofollow" or "nofollow" settings. The no-follow links only happen with some blog comments and links within comments. Since your articles and backlinks will be in the actual body of the blog post, these settings don't affect you. It's not related to the actual blog post content, which is where your backlinks will be located.

Review after a few days in the network

Ok, I've been in the network for several days now and have posted several articles. I emailed the help desk and they suggested posting the same article if it is has a high percentage rewrite to multiple categories. - If the article has a high rewrite percentage it is ok to do that.

That part is great. I've watched the backlinks add up quicker that way.

But here is the part that concerns me now:

I have received some ping backs from sites that published the articles. 3 out of 4 of the blogs WERE NOT RANKED BY GOOGLE - The fourth had a PR of 0.

I emailed the help desk and asked what percentage of their sites were not indexed.

Here is the note I sent to the help desk:

I'm getting ping backs from blogs with No page rank - which means they not indexed by the big G.

So, how many or what percentage of your sites actually have page rank. Sites that aren't indexed are of little value.

I need to know the answer to this in order to understand if I should be using other services or not.

How many sites do you have if you don't count the non-indexed ones?

    Thanks,

They emailed back with a very unhelpful message:

" I am sorry we do not have that information.

    Warm Regards,
    [staff members name removed]

    Help Desk Staff

Ok, so my problem as I explained to them was I need to know this information because I left a higher priced but very good network for this one. That other network would NEVER allow no page rank blogs into their network.

I want to ask Brad or Matt - Can you get an answer to this question, please?

If your network is made up of no page rank blogs, I'm not sure that I want to be a part of that.

I'm not trying to rain on your parade but this is a very valid concern as one other gentleman mentioned above. If the help desk had a better response, I wouldn't have posted this here.

I want to know how many or what percentage of the 10K blogs are non-indexed sites.

--- please respond and let us know.

I signed up from Brad's email and he said that there were high quality
links as part of the network.

I am also on a try-and-see basis as well and instead of asking about
the blogs I Google my article titles to find the blogs. So far the
blogs I have found are pagerank = 0 blogs, but this is still early.

If you were thinking about doing this for 1 month and then unsubscribe
because your links will be on 10,000 blogs, think again. So far the
highest number of posted articles for me is 10 after the first week.

Now I know the answer: If we post your articles too fast then google
will ........., so we have to make things look as natural as possible.

All I'm saying is that the 10,000 blogs links is a dream because only
a small percentage of those blogs will post your articles.

Will this be worth the $47 per month? Still to early to tell.

    @ DaveS,

There are plenty of indexed sites in Google that are PR0. PR ranking and indexation have very little to do with each other. New sites for example, that are indexed by Google will always be PR0.

However, I do 100% agree that if there are sites that are not indexed by Google for whatever reason, at the end of the day your backlinks have 0 value in Google. Moreover, the fact that a site is not listed in Google might attest to the fact that Google deems it as a spam site/bad neighborhood and simply de-indexed it.

    Also, you mentioned:

I left a higher priced but very good network for this one. That other network would NEVER allow no page rank blogs into their network.

Artlan, unfortunately, I haven't made enough posts to qualify for PM capabilities, but if you would like to email david @ tobeinformed.com I'll be glad to write back to you.

I agree that zero page rank is not a problem - it is the 3 out of 4 NO page rank blogs that bother me.

But I'm really feeling bad about posting this. I would like to trust that it doesn't matter, but those blogs may remain unindexed indefinitely or forever.

Even in a quality network there are blogs that suddenly lose their value and should be removed.

Don't know what to say at this point maybe Brad (as an expert on SEO) could clear up the issue for us?

Maybe there is some rationale about this whole thing that I'm not aware of.

Thank you Dave, I sent you an email. While PR is not as important to me, the basic nessecity is that the blogs HAVE to be indexed by Google. I outsource and pay for every post, hence it is a waste for me to post a blog that is not indexed by Google and does not provide any backlink value what-so-ever.

I'm just wondering, how has the amount of traffic improved whilst using MyArticleNetwork if it has at all??

I have a blog which is updated daily. Would it make sense to spin my posts to other blog sites which have the same niche as I have??

For me this is day 4, 140+ articles posted, can only find about 2 of them, I have unique words/phrases etc so they are easy to find, when I post to my own pr0 blogs they get indexed within 24 hours, not looking good is all I can say for now, but I'll give it 30 days as I said before.

I guess you get what you pay for, linkvana $147 myarticlenetwork $47

Opinions don't matter on this one, only test results count, and this can all be tested!

      Hey Gang,

      Here are a few thoughts...

There are going to be a range in the PR's of the blogs on which your posts show. I agree that some will increase while others may or may not move forward. There are realities to exactly what one does with a network like this. I also agree with the issue of promoting your posts as they show... this does take some time and effort to do it right.

As for the $47/month cost, I say it is actually very good. What does it cost you in time to set up and promote your articles? How many articles would it take for the network to have worked? Yes, there could be a good number of articles picked up and yes it may take some time for them to show up but do give it a chance. I outsource all kinds of work. Posting articles is a big part of it. Once the articles are set up with proper rotating elements in place these will work some wonders.

Another question also has to do with the types of articles (Matt may hate my bringing this up... but it does make a difference). With an network this size just about any article is going to work but do keep in mind the fact that some are going to be picked up rather quickly while some are not going to be grabbed as fast (sorry Matt )

On a final note... PR is just ONE of the factors involved. Yes it does play a roll in the SEO game but it is far from the be all and end all. This network is going to work quite well as I see it. It is not the sort of thing that will make all things happy and rosy over night. It will take some time and some persistence. The folks that put those two in are going to be happy as possible a few months down the road.

      There my $.03.

      Sam

Matt is ArticleApps supposed to work in tandem with this membership? The reason I ask is because I find the editing within MyArticleNetwork rather tedious without synonym and character generation.

Also, is there a video tutorial for ArticleApps? I can't really figure out what I am doing in that software.

        Thanks,

This kind of blog network is a very useful addition to standard article directory submissions but there are serious limitations that users should be aware of:-

            1) Postings to low/no PR sites will be picked up only fitfully by Google and often rapidly dropped from the SERPs. That's just the way PR ranking works with googlebot.

            2) Unless the posts are being linked from elsewhere in the blogs - Related Posts, Recent Posts etc. - they will be rapidly dropped.

            3) If the posts aren't linked to from anywhere - internal or external - and the post rotation is high they will be rapidly dropped.

This isn't a reflection of the service, just the way the average blog is handled in the SERPs. Links from unlisted pages are worthless. At the very least, blogs within the network should have the YARPP or similar internal linking plugin to ensure every page gets some internal love otherwise the exercise is pretty futile.

Ok thanks Matt. I was a member of AMA but now am with MAN. I do find the spinning feature within the software rather laborious, and making that more efficient would be a good move I suspect.

What I have been doing is using Power Article Rewriter, (which to me is one of the best programs for rewriting) but found I could not paste the code into MAN because the characters are different.

Hence, after doing my work in PAR, I would then load a finished, spun version into MAN. When MAN prompts me to add different variations, the quickest thing I found to do was just press "spin again" within PAR and it will bring me up another sentence or phrase that I copy and paste into the text box in MAN.

Anyway, that is still faster than doing it directly in your software. Here is a suggestion though - get that guy who owns PAR to license the software to you with the proper character set to fit into MAN. Just a thought.

Matt, all the best with MyArticleNetwork.

Yep, they now work in tandem. As requested by our members, we just added a new feature to ArticleApps where you can export your spin-ready article that you created with the ArticleApps spinner (or one that you got from SimplyPLR.com) into the proper MyArticleNetwork format.

All you do is create your article and click "Download in MyArticleNetwork Format" . You'll be able to download the new spin-ready article and send it over to MyArticleNetwork for distribution to all of the websites in our network.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned that a special private label version of MyArticleNetwork is used among the Stompernet members, too, from what I understand, so that also adds to its credibility - and power in that system (includes sites of Stompernet members) plus overall for the system's value.

The system, used on this end for client work, has proven to be the best spinning interface we've used to date:

      - You can manually enter your article, go in, edit it, add characters for spinning, keywords, etc. Or you can click a form to spin what you'd like - fast and easy, save or publish at any point in time and return to work on the piece later.

      - Plus the software tells you the percentage of your revised title and content. So save as a draft, check your percentages, then go back and do a little more if you like. Publish. Open it at a later time, re-edit, re-publish.

Neat having options - and ease.

      OK, on Linkvana:

PR is really not a good indicator to go by. The reason I say this is because I have a niche site that is PR 4, has very little backlinks, and gets very little traffic. Then, I"ve got another site that is PR 0 that ranks on the first page of Google for my primary keyword. I've been using MyArticleNetwork since about the middle of March. I don't know the exact date, but it was when Matt opened it to like 40 people or something. Anyway, I'm just not submitting articles for that PR 4 site, but since then I was only submitting articals and links for my PR 0 site. Now, that's the one that is ranked high in Google. From my experience, I think that it just depends on the number of one-way backlinks that you have, no matter where they're coming from as long as their related I'd much rather have a link from another PR 0 site than none at all. And over time, that site will eventually increase it's PR.

I would rewrite every single article that I posted to MyArticleNetwork by using their spinner. I haven't tried it without using their spinner, so I can't say if it works a lot better than if I didn't include the spin tags. but whatever the case, spinning the articles that were submitted for me has gotten my site ranked on the first page of Google in just a few weeks. Getting caught up all that PR stuff is just a waste of time where you could otherwise be posting articles and building backlinks. That's what it's all about anyway.

Ok, thanks for the response Brad and Artlan.

Brad, I signed up under you link - went to your help desk to get it.

    Thanks.

Artlan - Ok point taken on the no page rank blogs. It's just that I've only seen no page ranks as not indexed in the past - if they were they normally show a page rank of zero.
But, I'm willing to concede that you are right - even without testing. I'll check it out at some point. Thanks for correcting me.

I'm not too worried at this point - I am seeing a few blogs send pingbacks that have PR and are indexed.

I would have to say that I'm thinking this network is going to be a good one.

I have seen one of my sites move up from page 3 to near the top of page 2

Page 1 is money as I've been there before.

Ok, that's all - I take back my previous concerns. I think it is going to be fine with this network.

If things continue to go well, I will promote the network.

I only mentioned the whole "no pr information" as not an indication of a site being indexed because a few months ago I bought an expired domain name (pr3) and it went into the "no pr information available" mode for a few weeks. It later came back as PR3. The site, however, was always indexed.

Hey Dave. I use it and have seen increases in my own ranking. One of our office employees also uses it and we've seen his site rise. The same goes for Matt and his sites. While I have no idea if it's working for others, besides just trusting the testimonials are truthful, I do know it's working for the 3 people I see every day here in the office.

As for the quality of the links, that I couldn't tell you. I don't pay attention to it. I pay attention to the end result. I like to keep things simple. Maybe some of the others could comment to the link quality if they pay more attention to it.

Matt first I love the concept. I signed up for the free trial and have seen many great articles for my category offered. Here is the problem for me.

I can choose a general category - then rejecting 30 articles or more because they do not fit my topic and perhaps accept 1 article.

I can choose a subtopic - then overload my blog with that single topic.

Neither of these answers really works for me. It would be better if we could select multiple subtopics.

I can see where this would be a great way to distribute articles and build links, but if those articles are not published we do not build links. Guess its the old chicken or egg thing.

    Hey Marty,
ArticleApps "can" work with MyArticleNetwork, but they weren't built with that purpose in mind. That is, you can use ArticleApps to grab several different synonyms, phrases, quotes, etc... BUT... they actually use slightly different spinning tags. So you wouldn't be able to just copy/paste from AA over to MyArticleNetwork.

One option that we have briefly discussed is adding some of the ArticleApps features over at MyArticleNetwork, instead of adjusting the spinning tags at AA. This is just one idea though...

The reason that the two use different spinning tags is simply because as mentioned previously, MyArticleNetwork and AMA work side-by-side... The two spinners (ArticleApps and MyArticleNetwork's) were created at different times, which was actually prior to MyArticleNetwork teaming up with AMA.

Just like all of our other products, we love receiving feature requests from our users and adding those features that will benefit everyone. MyArticleNetwork will be no different. We'll be continually making it better and adding new updates over time...

      Hi Matt,

As I mentioned to Brad, we are all running businesses here - and time is limited and precious.

If you read my previous posts then you know that I wasn't too thrilled with your help desk response when I asked about how many blogs in the network were actually indexed.

Do you have some information for us about this and the quality of the blogs on the network? Many pingbacks I've received are from low quality blogs. so I'm wondering what is out there that I haven't seen yet.

I can't imagine a higher quality blog auto accepting content anyway... but that is another story (and maybe Im wrong) .

Not trying to knock your product - I signed up after all. But when viewing one's Internet work as a business and not a hobby, I think it is not unreasonable to ask questions and have an expectation of getting answered - especially as a paying customer .

I'd also like to hear your response to what Spudzz wrote above - sorry I didn't quote it here.

As with the other folks here, I am trying to evaluate whether this product is going to do me any good or not - and any information you can share that would help us make that determination would only be beneficial to the community at large.

None of us want to go on blind faith and it would be helpful if you could 'educate' us about your system a bit

      Thanks - in advance,

Matt, I have a quick question about the category section. If I have a pet website that is about cats and dogs, is it ok to submit the same spun article to both categories or is that going to cause duplicate posts to some blogs?

During the great gold-rush in the 19th century hundreds of thousands of regular citizens went "all-in" selling everything to try their luck at striking it rich in the distant gold fields of California. The real geniuses, realized that the real money was in selling these fortune seekers the tools that they would need to seek their fortune...picks, axes and shovels. Todays geniuses sell Internet tools to the modern day seekers of fortune.

Most people went broke. Very few struck it rich.

    The point is this:

There is gold in "them thar hills" but having a pick and a shovel doesn't guarantee riches.

Indeed, having a massive amount of back-links isn't necessary. Having a few very good ones is. This can be achieved through some diligent research, time, and building relationships with owners of these sites.

There is no short cut to success on the Internet.

Before you spend your hard-earned dollars on the next "magic bullet" do some research first and find out how consumers actually use the Internet to find what they are looking for.

    The answer may surprise you!

      Marty,

I also use PAR along with AMA. What I do is spin the article in PAR and save the resulting spin (with all the spin tags) into a text file.

Then I'll take that text file and make the necessary changes, switching {'s to ['s where necessary and adding in ~ if needed.

I spin articles pretty heavily so it takes me about 10-15 minutes to revise all the tags for the article. Then it's just a matter of pasting the new text (again with all the spin tags) into AMA.

I don't know if that's the best way but it works for me.

I really wish there was an industry standard for spin tags.

    Hey all,

Here are a few answers that should help clear some things up...

First though, my question to you is "Isn't what you are after, the end result?" And the end result in this instance is high rankings within Google and other serps. Now, it can't be denied that Google's "food" is backlinks... ideally links built from a variety of sources, not just blogs but from directories, article posts, forums, authority sites and so on.

I'd be kidding you and everyone else if I said every site within MAN was a PR 7 because that's not the case, but there are a portion of high PR sites in the network. The majority of sites range from 0-4 in PR, and while we won't ever disclose the exact number of blogs in the network, it is WELL above 10,000, and will be increasing by a lot more in the very near future with some big things we have planned for our members.

If you want some examples of rankings that we've personally seen with this same network, you can search for "digital photo printing" in Google, which is a 11,000,000 competition keyword (this number varies day to day). Admittedly, when we started with this site it was using an older domain name, but in only two weeks after using the same system that our current members are using, we got onto the 2nd page of Google. We haven't touched the promotion of that site in several months...and I just looked and it's now on the FIRST page. We just let the network continue to build links for us without any additional effort on our part other than that initial submission of articles.

    @Spudzz:
    To answer your questions specifically...
    1) Yes you are correct with this comment, BUT would you agree that a low or even a no PR link is better than none? And when you are building a bunch of links with each article you submit to MyArticleNetwork, you're bound to get a few that are on sites that aren't even indexed, but you're MORE bound to get a BUNCH of links on sites that DO have pr and rankings. I'm not here to kid anyone, the nature of the beast is it's consumer driven. Obviously, the better the effort the consumers put in, the better the blogs in the system, And the better the blogs, the better the rankings you'll get. But again, it's about the END RESULT you get right? and MAN just flat out WORKS when it comes to ranking your sites.

    2) Your 2nd comment is also true (in a sense), and there will be a portion of sites that aren't setup correctly on the site-owners' end. There will always be a few bad apples no matter how much you train people and show them step-by-step. But again, you're working on a 5/95 rule here (5 may not be setup properly, while 95 would be). MyArticleNetwork is a virtually fully automated ranking system for 47/mo. Surely you can't complain if a few blogs drop your post out of the 1,000s in the network?

    3) again, this is true too... but also highly related to my above comments. It's a very small portion of the sites. Some people don't setup their blogs correctly and it will always be that way no matter how much step-by-step training you give someone or what plugins you recommend they install. Not everyone follows instructions or takes the time to learn "how to do it right". But again, remember the 5/95 rule here.

    @Dave:
Having answered spudzz posts I'll clear up the relevant ones to your post as well... (most of the PR questions have already been cleared up).
The truth is, times are a little tough right now with what's going on with the economy, and it's hard to not keep your eyes fixed on that... But all I can look now at are the positive results of the sites in the network. Not just for myself but for people USING MyArticleNetwork, and the rankings they are getting. To be honest, I don't really care whether I'm 100% spot-on with "how Google thinks", because all I need to do is look at the stats and be able to say "Hey dude, you're ranking on the first page for xyz keyword, that's awesome!". And I see that within the MAN system's thousands of sites.

Dave all i ask is this... pick a keyword, something with say 300,000 or so broad competition. Put your articles into the MyArticleNetwork for that site/keyword(s)... and in 2 months time, look at your rankings and increased backlinks. You'll kick yourself in 2 months for not having done more.

Phew... that was an epic of a response... I need a coffee. haha.

    Take care,
    Matt

      Hi Matt,

I want to say a big 'thank you' for taking the time to address our concerns.

I can tell you that the time you took to answer was well worth it. It means a lot to me and I'm willing to bet it will have a big impact on others who are interested in the network and find / read this thread.

I'm very glad that you took the time to answer - I feel about 100% more confident about the articles I've sent in already. I'm looking forward to seeing the results. I have a site targeted, it is now on page 2 and I would love to see it hitting near top of page one.

Thanks again Matt, it means a lot to me that you took the time to write that response!

Just wondered (in broad terms) what niches people are writing for and how niched.

Example - I have a couple of expired domains that I have picked up with backlinks and traffic.

One is a general article site with around 100,000 live articles and MAN has added around 100 since the end of last week.

I have a niche spam/virus blog but have had NO entries at all.

On the flip, I have had quite a few pingbacks and feel happier (at the moment) linking my articles back to blog posts to get the pingback

Gday Matt, just purchased and like what I see so far.

Just a quick question, in terms of re-writting the articles, what percentage should we be aiming for as a bare minimum? Obviously 100% is best, but what percentage works well as a minimum?

      Cheers Thomas

To shed some light on our own experience with MyArticleNetwork.

6 articles submitted, average of 20 posts per article.

For the term we were targeting, we are now #2, in an extremely competitive niche, for some great "buy" terms.

We have made 6 sales thus far, from the increased listings - which equates to an extra $2400 Per Month recurring .

All I can say Matt, is if we ever cross paths, I owe you a beer.

        PowerK,

We have been using the system for about 2 weeks, a few items to note however:
        • All of the pages we focused on were already indexed.
        • Most were sitting around page 2 / 3, so it was a significant jump.

We have experienced some more success today, whereby the client was not indexed at all - and is now position #5 for a huge term...I'd love to mention the term here.. but for obvious reasons, will not.

Something to keep in mind, link building is only one part of an Optimization strategy - Obviously this isn't the 'only' method we use, but it most certainly has assisted, we have tested the system thoroughly.. comparing similar pages, with usage; and without use of the MFA system & MFA most certainly makes a difference.

One thing we also noticed, is as the links are submitted mainly to Wordpress sites that are obviously owned by people whom have some idea about how SEO works - it is fair to assume that generally have their RSS / Sitemaps sorted out. I think this is a huge factor in the assistance of actually having new sites indexed, as the links are coming from blogs.. Not just static link farms.

The key to link building, we have found, is to ensure the links are on sites that they themselves constantly get crawled.. And blogs, with constantly updating content.. Often get crawled.

If I was MFA, I would offer members a free XX Page guide, on how to set up your wordpress site to obtain higher crawl rates, and better indexing; as at the end of the day - their network, is only as good as the sites participating. If the sites participating are junk, the backlinks will be also.

        My 2c.

We commenced a trial of the service, by submitting 6 articles by one of our editors. The articles were spun exceptionally well, 160%+ per article, with 3 specific back links.

On average, the articles received between 6 - 50 (average of about 20) posts. Each post obviously had 3 backlinks.

We are now ranking #2 in google for a high converting term (for our specific business) & the other 2 terms are also page 1 - position 3-5.

No questions asked, the system works when executed correctly.

An even better enhancement would be to allow us to enter keywords that we are looking for from the posts that we want to receive. If the word isn't in the post, then don't send it to us. And the flip side would be to have a negative keyword option as well. If the post contains the keyword "colon" then I don't want it on my acne site.

I'm having to reject most posts because they are completely off topic for my niche blog.

One small change I would like to see is in the frequency of articles received for my sites. Currently, you are asked to specify the maximum number of articles to be received per day, meaning that you have to specify at least one per day.

I would prefer to only add a maximum of 2-3 articles per week to my sites, so I find myself rejecting a lot of articles just because I don't want a new article each day. I would rather be able to set the frequency as the maximum number of articles to be received per week.

      Hi kkchoon,

      Thanks for the initial compliment...

HOWEVER, your 2nd point is completely NOT true. If a member stops their subscription, posts are NOT removed from blogs and links are not removed. Nothing happens to those previously submitted articles. In fact, here is the exact statement as it appears at our website's FAQ.

What happens to articles published on blogs if I cancel my subscription?

Absolutely nothing happens to them. Copies of your articles that have been published on blogs remain there. Our system does not (and cannot) reach out and remove them from those sites.
Hope that clears some things up.

@ Simon - great job on your increased rankings! Keep on posting those articles... the more the merrier.

Matt, I have a quick question. I have a few blogs linked to your network. However, as I was checking through some of the posts I have received, one of them had some very vulgar language. I had all my blogs set to auto approve, but have since changed them to email me for approval.

Am I required to keep that post on my blog with the vulgar language or am I allowed to delete it. I prefer family friendly sites.

Certainly you should remove the offending post. It would be no different than if you had declined it in the first place. Only side affect could be that the authors distribution count is one higher than it is in reality.

Well they mailed me that definitely my ranking did not go down due to the submissions....I loved that answer
They also say the info on the blogs where the articles were published are private. That I think is no good policy especially since anybody can check backlinks. It would also be good policy because then we would know if anybody is changing our links

      Kuma,

If you have a method or software that can show a new backlink in 4 to 6 days guaranteed, you would either be:

A). Very, very rich because thousands upon thousands of people would purchase your method or software from you.

      Or...

B). You work at, or own, Google, Yahoo or MSN.

      I doubt it's either.

I agree but my point was referring to their sales letter where it says on the first page in Tahoma 24point Bold (http://www.myarticlenetwork.com/):
""What if you had control of the sites you post your content to, post it immediately with little to no wait time, and start seeing One-Way backlinks in a matter of minutes?"

My only complaint about MyArticleNetwork is that the categories are actually too narrow meaning that each category contains fewer potential sites to publish my article. I'd like to be able to submit to broader categories and then narrow those down if needed.

I submitted articles for clients across 5 or 6 different categories and after a month the least number of times an article was reprinted is 9 and the most number of times an article was reprinted is 43. And I'm getting 30% to 50% acceptance rates across all categories so I don't think there's any problem with the articles themselves.

You can submit to additional categories, but I think you have to rewrite the article so that it's completely unique in order to do that.

I'm keeping MyArticleNetwork for another month and I'm going to try Syndicate Kahuna as well to see if I can get wider distribution.

    Daniel,

Thanks for the detailed review. I also like the MAN spinner very much, whereas other spinners I've looked at [briefly] in the past seem more complicated. How is UAW's spinner set up? Would there be a way to take one's spun article from MAN and just copy & paste it into UAW's interface?

too frequently the spiders won't be able ot catch up, or ot deep crawl these sites and won't find the content, and won't find th elinks to credit, too.
I couldn't agree with you more on this one, and I posted earlier in this thread that one small thing I don't like about MAN is that the least frequent option to ask for articles to be published on one's site is one per day. I really don't want to publish a new article every single day on my blogs (with outgoing links). So I end up rejecting some, not for quality, but because I don't want as many articles as they send me.

But the current frequency options, being one a day or more, is a disservice to members, as it implies that this is good practice.

I would much prefer that an option of "X number of articles per week" be included (I'd probably take 2-3 per week). Although I really don't use MAN for content for my own sites (am just testing it on a couple of broad niche blogs), but as you point out, for our published articles to get the most benefit, they should not be sitting on junk blogs.

Plus, you have the option in MAN with your donor blogs to only accept articles that are at least 30% Unique.
This is excellent advice all around. I have 5 donor blogs in the system and at this point my stats show I have rejected 74% of the articles offered to me. That's because I have pretty strict criteria.

First I have the system reject all articles under 30% unique. Although that 30% is very inaccurate. I'll explain more in a minute.

Next I will reject the article if it has 3 links to the same web page. That just looks spammy.

Next I will reject any article that has redirect links to affiliate pages.

Finally here's where it get's a little time consuming. I'll take a sentence from the article and put in quotes in Google. Usually I'll get back anywhere from 10 to 75 pages. Then I'll randomly open tabs with 3 of those pages. I'll then copy and paste the original article and the 3 Google found pages into Dupecop Spun.

You'll be amazed at what you find. Articles that you get that are supposed to be 75% unique often come back only 5-10% unique when put into Dupecop Spun. If my article is not about 30% unique from the other 3 found by Google, I'll probably reject that one as well unless it happens to be exceptional.

Generally if the article you get from the network does not arrive showing at least 150% unique, chances are it is nowhere near 30% unique from others already published. I have no idea how they get their numbers but check it for yourself.

I should mention that I am using AMA and not MAN but it's my understanding that it is the same network.

Yes it's a more work to do it this way, but at least I know I'm only publishing somewhat unique articles. And I get more than enough submissions to publish as many as I need to.

This is my experience as well. I have an acceptance of more than 90% of my articles but what I am offered amounts to a rejection rate of about 60%. If you are out for quality on your blog you have to be choosy and see that you get decent content

I think that the network is fair value at $47/month, providing you add plenty of new articles, my goal is to add 1 at least every 2 days. I've seen some back links appearing after 30 days however I don't buy some of the hype on the sales page with people saying after 3 days they jumped to the top 10 on google etc, I don't think the people making the testimonials know what they are taking about.

I've noticed that there have been a few initial startup questions about "how this whole system works with article marketing, how it helps increase Google rankings, etc..." These have been asked more than once by some of my own subscribers (as well as other Warrior members here at the forum)...

So I went ahead and just had 3 videos created to give the entire picture of how useful and powerful M.A.N works in the whole big idea of "article marketing, SEO rankings and increased traffic results".

Here are the 3 videos I originally made specifically for my own members, but I figured that it may help some fellow Warriors too.... so here ya go (these are free, direct links):
      Video #1: www.mattcallen.com/videos/1_fundamentals
      Video #2: www.mattcallen.com/videos/2_articles

Matt hopefully you can answer my questions below before I put ALOT of time into MAN...it relates to a post submitted earlier on...my questions are below..

Gday Matt, just purchased and like what I see so far.

Just a quick question, in terms of re-writting the articles, what percentage should we be aiming for as a bare minimum? Obviously 100% is best, but what percentage works well as a minimum?

    Cheers Thomas

Now I have 20 articles I would like to submit on MAN as I have just signed up...this is going to take alot fo time and effort so I would like to find the following out before diving in.

    1. What do you suggest is the most optimum spin ratio (what percentage) to get the most out of my time. I guess what im asking is what is the smallest spin ratio I can use which yields the greatest acceptance rate from site owners.

    2. Is it recommened that one spins the title at the same ratio as the actual body/content?

    3. I see there are 2 aspects of spinning on MAN...one is how many sentences you actually spin, and the other aspect is how many times you actually rewrite each sentence. I am wondering whether to go for spinning a few sentences plenty of times? or spinning ALL sentences only once or twice.

If others have had recent experiences on the above please feel free to share too.

    Thanks

      Dale,

I'm not Matt, but can tell you my experience with re-writing my articles.

First, when I re-write the title, I usually provide two or three extra titles in addition to my original title. This always results in my title being shown as more than 100% rewritten. Sometimes, it even says my title is more than 200% rewritten (just viewing one now that claims to be 211% rewritten). I have no idea how this percentage value is calculated, but if I can get a title rewritten percentage in excess of 100% by providing 2-3 additional titles, I'll continue with this approach.

Second, for my article body, I usually rewrite at least half of the sentences. So when I start the process, if it says I have 36 sentences that can be rewritten, I keep going until it says I have fewer than 18. Sometimes I do more if the juices are flowing and I feel productive, sometimes I do less if I'm struggling and then I'll check the percentages and go back and rewrite more if I'm not happy with the result.

I usually provide at least one and up to four new sentences for each sentence I rewrite. Some sentences I only write one alternative because my brain cannot think of another one. Some flow easier and I might provide as many as four rewrites, but almost never more. With this method, whenever I refresh the pages to review my article, it usually tells me that my article is 80% or more rewritten, sometimes even close to 100% or a little over.

What I'll do is after spinning a batch of sentences, I'll go to the View option and refresh a few times to see the percentages I'm getting. If it only says I'm at 60% or so, I rewrite a few more sentences. I do that until my rewrite percentage exceeds 80% consistently.

My articles currently have an acceptance rate of over 90% each. Overall rejection rate is 8% across all articles.

I don't know if there is a 'magic' percentage to hit which gives the best results with the least amount of time, but even if a lower percentage would mean that my articles are picked up as frequently, I wouldn't really want an abundance of articles out there that are too similar.

You may be able to get by with a lower rewrite rate. Keep in mind that publishers have the option to automatically reject any article that is not rewritten at least 30%. So if you are going for bare minimums, I would say that over 30% would be the minimum. I don't find it to be that much more time consuming to spin a few extra sentences and get a significantly better ratio, however.

      Hope that's useful!

      Susan

        Thats awesome advice thanks Susan.

One more thing...I have set my article to be distributed 2 days ago already and still I have 0 reviews/publishes? Is there some sort of time lag before the article gets presented to site owners?

..and lastly, where do you view how many sentences there are? I can only see a word count when I click 'View'

eg. "This preview of your article consists of 876 words."

I've always seen my articles start to be published the same day I set them to go live. But I would imagine this is dependent on the category. If you select an obscure niche/category, there may be fewer sites to distribute your articles to.

For the number of sentences, you only see this when you click to Rewrite. After you've rewritten your Title, and you move to starting to rewrite sentences, at the top it will say "Your article has XX sentences left that can be rewritten." This changes after each sentence is rewritten.

What's nice is that you can go back any time and rewrite more. So even if your article has been live and published, you can always go back into the Rewrite area and it will present you with the remaining sentences that can still be rewritten.

Susan you have been a big help, however I'm pulling my hair due to one small thing...while rewriting the sentences, do you guys notice that you cannot see the last few charactes in the text box? ie. once your sentence is long enough to take up the entire length of the textbox and starts scrolling, I cannot see the last few characters so I cannot see what Im typing....driving me nuts. I;ve tried Firefox and IE.

    Anyone?

He, he. Yup, same problem for me and I found it very irritating at the beginning. My solution was to open up TextEdit or Notepad and copy & paste the sentence to be rewritten to it, create my rewritten sentences in the text editor, and then copy & paste the new sentences back into the MAN interface.

      Cheers,
      Susan

Matt, any idea when this will be fixed? It just seems like such a small thing to rectify which causes such a big inconvenience. It's basic GUI stuff which one would have thought the developers would have spotted and rectified by now.

Thanks cms and daniel for the suggestions in terms of getting around it...

In all fairness, how does this service stack up against LinkVana?
    Quite well actually...

I had 2 subscriptions running at the same time LV and AMA and I tested both services with one page sites hosted on free wordpress blogs.

Some sites were linked to using strictly LV and some AMA.

    - 2 months later only half of the LV links showed (25 out of 50) in the Y site explorer (they ranged from pr0 to pr3).

    - 1 AMA article got me 24 links from sites ranging from pr0 to pr2 (in addition to that, surprisingly I still hold the number 2 position for "Spanish learning Mp3")

Anyhow, in the end I got the same amount of links from both services. One might argue that it takes the same amount of time to write one good "spun" article as writing 50 mini blurbs, but the biggest difference was the price and the fact that you can actually see what's happening with your article in AMA as opposed to LV.

IMHO if makers would include the directory submission function (such as the one in unique article wizard) into their tool it would become a one stop shop for many link masters.

Although myarticlenetwork helps to create many backlinks in a short time, but it doesn't tell you what blog your articles are published to, all these seems like a blackbox to me.

If you are trying to list for a long tail keyword, it is quite easy to appear on 1st page of google by using squidoo and any blog.

It seems that nobody has asked the question "how long can my website stayed on 1st page of google?"

The thing about seo is that no matter how good you are, the listing on 1st page of google is not guaranteed and you can lose your ranking anytime.

Therefore although SEO traffic is free, it's always unpredictable and you should not
depend your entire business on seo alone.

The question I am asking myself as I don´t see any of my articles published (although accepted around 90% and now on MAN for about 2.5 months).
Doesn´t Google search blogs? That would be really surprising.
Or does the indexing process take that long?
I would really like to see what ranking these publishing blogs have.
The articles that were submitted to me in many cases have a very low quality and seldom do I see something that is really new. I think you really have to be picky about that point if you want your blog to offer value.

Same here with 96% articles accepted (AMA) yet not seen anything coming back.

I really, really don't mind (in fact I'm hoping) that articles take a month or two to perculate through to backlinks. What gets me is if that's the case then just say so, Matt, any comments?

      Adam,
I have responded to your Private Message two times. Please submit a support ticket at our support department here: Support Desk and provide your receipt and refund request. Or reply to the private message I sent you. If your membership was with AMA, then you need to contact them because that's not our service. Ours is for MyArticleNetwork.

This forum is not the place to request refunds or tech support. This is why we have a separate support desk for that. I just checked the support desk personally and could not find your request by searching for your full name or email address. So if you please PM me here or submit a new ticket we'll take care of it, just like we always do.

      Thanks,

I signed up last Friday and over the weekend placed 6 articles on the system. To date it has been published 100 times with 0% rejection rate meaning there is potentially 300 links out in the network.

Its too early to tell if these article submissions are being indexed by google and what the effects are but I reckon in a few more weeks I will be able to tell.

The guys that have been with MAN for a couple of months, can you see any results as of yet?

Also, are we able to tell the strength of the general network sites which the articles are being submitted onto?

I decided that it would be worth investing $47/month to create backlinks to my websites, and this system looked like it was easy to use.

I have been using the system for about 4-5 months, here are my statistics straight from the user interface:

Start >> You have 77 articles registered on the system. Those articles have been presented 7,846 times for consideration by site owners.

The articles have been approved 6,310 times and rejected 238 times, which means your articles have a rejection rate of 4%. A total of 1,298 copies are still waiting for a decision by site owners.

In total, the system has successfully published 6,767 copies of your articles. This number may differ from the number of approvals received for your article. When owners remove sites from the network, the article approval count is affected, but this published count is not affected. << End

Since I always have 3 links per article I have created over 18,000 backlinks to my sites which I think is not bad, it's about 1.6 cents/per link

There are a few bad apples out there who take the articles and remove your links but I think the majority of publishers are honest and publish the articles in full.

The good thing about this system is that the number just keeps growing everyday without me doing any more work.

        Some notes:

        1. I actually only wrote about 15 articles but added them into several categories after making some more rewrites

        2. I always add a unique 10 digit number to each article so I can easily find them in the search results

        3. Using the unique number I have found that a lot of my articles are indexed in google

        4. I have been able to get many top 10 results for many keywords using this system

        5. It pays to write good articles to get a high acceptance rate, on my sites I actually reject 96% of articles presented to me

        6. Regarding ranking, I have started to do some analysis on my results, it seems that it is very important to make sure that you do the SEO correctly if you want to get top 10 results, but it does work

        7. Most of the articles are on PR0 pages or sites, so don't expect this system to give your site a huge PR boast, but you can use it very effectivily to rank for well choosen and correctly SEO'd keywords

        SUMMARY
        ==========

I like the system, it does work, I am going to continue to use it but in future I will be much more carefull and precise when selecting keyworks for the articles and on page SEO factors.

How are you so sure of 18000 backlinks? If you are basing it on the 3 backlinks per article, then you need to reconsider. Not all will actually end up providing a backlink.

I believe this is the biggest issue with MAN and FTS. As a subscriber, you cannot find the precise number of backlinks.

It becomes slightly easier with Linkvana because you can find the single post of 100 words being posted on the blogs by manually searching for the content.

But, I am seriously considering if these systems work. I have used MAN and FTS, and am out of both after 2 months. Was not worth the time and effort.

Next on the line is UAW/Article Drip Feed system.

Well, you may have a 90% acceptance, however, you won't see many backlinks. And you need to be sure if the articles are being added on good sites or sites that have been penalized by Google.

2 of my articles were actually published on sites that had been sandboxed. I had to write to Matt to get those removed. These were removed for sure, but I do not think I can go about tracking each site to see if the site had been penalized or not.

Apart from this, I think there re-writer is very good. Much better than Free Traffic System. But, the quality of blogs is a concern. Maybe they have added new blogs.

      Hi seolake,

I would like to know how did you find out that the blogs were 'sandboxed'?

I am also currently a subscriber of MAN, and I must say: the interface is pretty good, the sales page is pretty good, but I do feel that the backlink builder is taking too long. A lot of the articles do not seem to even be indexed after about a week.

Or perhaps I am asking for too much?

yes, get real, seems like you are expecting your crappy article (most are) with 3 backlinks to get posted on a PR5 site and get indexed with a couple of days!

this system is good for getting lots of low level links for next to nothing, there is no limit as to how many articles you submit, just do a bit of work and you get backlinks for 1 cent/link, or less, hard to beat that!

I do not think they claim any blog to be a PR5. Having said that, PR of blogs vary with niche. But, most are in PR0 to PR2 range.

I have no problems with MAN, but the posts do not translate into backlinks. I am talking after seeing the results for 2 months and I have been tracking all posts now, in the 4th month. Not those many links. Not the 300-400 that should have been there for each site that I used it for. And, I really do not think that a link at 1 cent helps the cause. It may be better to get 1 PR4 backlink than 100 PR0 backlinks. Its a question of quality and not quantity for me. And, time is the critical factor.

I agree, but just try and get a PR4 backlink, they are like hens teeth now, the slow drip of new links from this system ensures that your site will move up the rankings without getting banned or penalized

If you know a better solution I'm all ears!

I picked the sites from one of the backlink checkers and evaluated its PR. And, then I checked Google's cache and these sites were not there. PR showed 'Not available'.

And these sites were not new sites, but existing sites as per domain record.

Pointed it to Matt, and he took care of it.

        Work on it.

If you use WP for your site and backlink to posts or pages, you will get pingbacks from most of your articles posted on MAN. Bookmark them and/or promote them otherwise, help them help you.

If you need more backlinks faster, it's a numbers game - send more articles.

this just seems like an article distribution service, by spinning articles,

why not have people only submit original articles, no spinning, and each
article is published only once, or at the most 3 times

I guess if it works it works, but I don't think Google would like to have
1000's of blogs all with similar content.

maybe that is the difference with Linkvana, each article you submit
          is published once

    A couple of points:

    1. I already explained that I use a unique tracking number so I can find all my articles if indexed in google, as I said many are, I check them out from time to time, many are good blogs, some are pr1-3, so I expect my rankings onlt to get better with time

    2. I also monitor my sites using google webmaster tools, google itself tells me I'm getting lots of back links

    3. You are mis-informed, google does NOT penalize you if a bad site links to you, only if you link to a bad site, otherwise you could easily target and penalize your compeditors

that said, you need to work this system for several months to get results, don't expect results with weeks

I use MAN also known as AMA and have been using them for roughly 8 months now.

I have been getting first page ranking on Google as a direct result of it.

I personally love it more than UAW, because if you don't use UAW properly you get your site penalized (I have had 3 sites penalized because I submitted using UAW too aggressively). However, this won't be an issue if your sites are old. My sites were brand new.

As for my other two sites, I have been able to get on the first page of Google for competitive terms simply just using MAN. The drip submission model applied in MAN is great. It's simply a set and forget linking strategy!

    So I highly recommend it!

My article networks works like a charm.. I have noticed in the first month of using it that there has been a nice increase in backlinks.. the thing I like about it is the fact there are thousands of unique IP's... which is key to good ranking..

Using all the same web properties to post articles on dilutes IMO the value of your links.. the more diverse the better...

Even though i didn't really use it, but it's one of a tool that i will really consider getting it as it's create tons of backlinks [provided we have a good well written article]

However would like to check whether is it possible to send 1 well written article for blogs to post or should we spin it to get more articles? However by doing this will not get as good as the original article.

Would appreciate someone can help? Thanks

You can do that, just leave it un-rewritten. Though the accept rate will go down - blogs that approve articles manually aren't really crazy about duplicate content (wouldn't you?), and there's a rule of 30% rewrite that one can set for auto-approval.

I don't think there's much point in sending exceptional articles in MAN. There's not much traffic from those blogs in my experience (though it might be partly due to my not so exceptional articles, but the traffic is absolute 0). I think you're better off submitting those articles to authority blogs in your niche who have guest authors.

Regarding the comments about duplicate content - Google doesn't care at all. For some very good discussion on this, have a look at this thread.

I'm pretty sure also that "....PR showed 'Not available'..." is a diferent question to being indexed, as mentioned in #158.

And if you're wanting links higher than PR5, then it might be worth trying Angela's Backlinks - she's got a couple of threads going about this topic.

    best wishes,

    Jon.

Yeah, it works... I used a test blog for 30 days. Original SEO score of the test blog was 63, after 30 days of using MyArticleNetwork it jumped to 95. Impressive since it was all automatic, except, of course, the time I spent submitting my blog and my articles to the network. good Work Matt!

The system is setup so that members get the best results and the submissions are as natural to the SE's as possible. Therefore, the distribution is set up in a "drip fashion" in that the number of submissions each day is variable, and at random times.

It's set up like this because, quite simply, this is the best way for SEO to go about submitting articles and posting them on blogs/websites.

Hi I'm a new member here, and have recently purchased Matt's MyArticleNetwork after seeing some decent comments and positive results. However, lately as of the past week their site is extremely slow. it literally takes 20 full seconds to load each page, and it's just not a great user experience when waiting about 3 minutes to sign in, wait, add article, wait, edit article, wait, etc...

EDIT WE DO NOT DEAL WITH INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT ISSUES ON THIS FORUM.

      Hi,
There was a server migration last week and this has cause the slower response times due to some changes. We're working on it as we speak, and once it's fixed, things will be faster than they ever have been (with the new servers).

      Thanks for your patience,

I have been using MAN for approx 6 weeks now. My stats are as follows:

      Articles presented: 268 times
      Articles published: 219 times
      Rejection rate: 5%

Correct me if I am wrong, but I feel my stats are way better than what I have seen quoted by other users stating great SERP improvements. However, after 6 weeks I have seen no change in my serps. Also when I search via google blog search for my article postings, only 8 results for my articles appear. Out of these 8 only 2-3 have a PR of 1. The rest have no page rank at all.

So is this just not working for me or should I be giving it more time?

MyArticleNetwork is a great way to get a lot of diverse links to your site, it's not really for getting high PR backlinks.

I buy high PR backlink packets, like Angela Edwards and PJ's, from this forum regularly and spend a couple hours per day creating profiles, creating backlinks and RSSing my backlinks.

In my opinion though this looks spammy to Google, if my site ONLY has backlinks from high PR sites it just doesn't look natural at all, so I also spin and submit an article a day to MAN so I get a more natural looking link structure.

I made a post asking about it in a different section of the forum and realized this is the appropriate place to check.

I am about to sign up with either AMA or My Article Network and as I understand, they both have the same blog network and submission and spinning processes.

However, in terms of customer support, ease of use and videos/help tutorials, which would you go with?

      Appreciate your responses.

James that is correct they are the same network, though both help eachother.

MAN has its own reach, as does AMA, both build sites into the network.

The difference is in which "Author" you like to follow.

Much like reading a book, you like a particular author and follow them.

Matt is freaking awesome and a good friend of mine, anyone would do well in his service, as they would in mine.

I'd happily recommend you over to MAN if you follow Matt already.

MyArticleNetwork caused 4 of my Domains to get BANNED by google.

I've seen lots of GLOWING reviews about Myarticlenetwork.com on the net and most has affiliate links from people who are only interested in promoting MyArticleNetwork to make money.

In April 2009, I joined Myarticlenetwork.com for 2 reason. 1. To submit articles on the network and gain one way links as they advertised. 2. I had just bought 4 domain names with PR3 to PR5 page rank so I needed free content.

After 2 months all 4 domains which had blogs hooked up to Myarticlenetwork.com had been stripped of their page rank AND removed from googles index.

3 other domains I bought during the same time which was not hooked up to Myarticlenetwork.com retained their page rank. It therefore seems clear that Google DOES NOT LIKE Myarticlenetwork.com and the methods they use for interconnecting blogs and duplicate content on blogs in the network. I paid about $500 for those domains and now thanks to Myarticlenetwork.com they have been banned by google and are now worthless.

This is 100% NOT possible. It sounds like you only used the side of MAN where you get content posted to your blogs. Simply adding content to your site from an article network will NOT get your site deindexed by Google.

The content that is posted by MyArticleNetwork is posted just like any other blog post. There's no "tricky business" about it. So I can almost guarantee that the reason your sites got deindexed had nothing to do with getting content from MAN.

You mentioned something about duplicate content... The only time Google frowns upon that is if the single site owner is creating multiple pages or subdomains on a single domain with the exact same content on each of those newly created pages with the primary purpose of tricking Google.

There are a lot of potential reasons that a site could get deindexed... receiving content from MAN or other similar article networks is NOT one of them, plain and simple.

Since you are the owner, you have a vested interest to say it's "100% NOT possible" or what ever.

All I did was install the MAN code on my sites as per your instructions and I received tons of articles, which I thought google would like. However, after 2 months all 4 domains which had blogs hooked up to Myarticlenetwork.com had been stripped of their page rank AND removed from googles index.

And you know what else... these domains were running on different servers using different IP's. The only thing they all had in common is they were hooked up to Myarticlenetwork and receiving articles from your distribution service.

As I stated, 3 other domains I bought during the same time which was not hooked up to Myarticlenetwork.com retained their page rank and did not get de-indexed.

I own over 100 websites and the only domains ever to get banned & removed from google's index which I own were the ones I hooked up to Myarticlenetwork. So it seems more than a coincidence to me.

I have nothing to gain by letting people know about this except I think the experience I had with Myarticlenetwork is something people should be made aware of.

    Hi advancedwebtools,

Sorry to read about your lost domains (and money)

Can you please give us the urls of those 4 domains, maybe there's something else.
Since they have lost value you don't risk anything by posting the links here.

It's very strange that this happened only to the domains where you were getting articles from the MAN network but that being said I have received so many backlinks from MAN and multiple #1 rankings that I don't see how I could have received this kind of benefits if the blogs of their members were getting sandboxed.

I don't know Matt personally but I know MAN very well for having used it intensively (read several times per day / every days). And I can say it works very well (granted you also use other linkbuilding tools).
