Hi,

So far I have done all my keyword research (demand and compition) using Google Keyword Tool. It takes time, I did a search and found this three products

Market Samurai
SECockpit
Longtail pro

Do anyone of you have experience using any of these tools? Which one do you recommend?

/Peter

Yes, I do have experience with SECockpit and Market Samurai.

What I can say from my experience, use Google Keyword tool and Market Samurai and you will get the best Keywords.

I basicly use G-Kw tool for research and MS for the competition research. Works very fine for me for many years.

    Good luck!

Market Samurai and Brad Callen's Niche Finder. MS lets you spy on competitor's link network as well as see the demographics they target. It does much more than just keywords for the price. Best value tool I've ever purchased.

most bang for the buck and a proven winner goes to market samurai. (se cockpit has been around for a while but no experience with them) like the previous poster said a good mix of free tools such as
    gkwt
    ubersuggest

and market sam will get you going.

We just started using SECockpit a month or so ago and it is by far the best I have used. Well worth the higher monthly cost if you are serious about keyword research.

I'm so fed up with those keyword tools where I have to read 100 page manual and watch a dozen tutorial videos just to try to figure out the basics.

For me it's Money Keyword Finder

It all depends on what if your goal.

If you want to do massive keyword research then SECockpit is your tool. But if you just want to research a few keywords here and there then Market Samurai is a good choice.

SECockpit's info isn't up to date (few days delay) so when you need fresh data you should still use Market Samurai to recheck the data.

When using Google adwords, what parameters do you use to find a profitable niche? Also, how to distinguish buyers from lookers? Does it help to use "buy" type keywords terms like these?
      Buy
      Purchase
      Comparison
      Review
      Discount
      Where to buy
Or keywords where specific brands, products or model names are included?

Am I headed in the right direction using anything close to these parameters? Thanks!

With LTP, it doesn't support proxies and you have to pay a monthly fee to access some features, that Market Samurai has for a one time fee. Having said that, I've used MS since 2008, and while I've tried just about everything else on the market, I always come back to MS. This doesn't mean other tools aren't good, just that MS fits the way I work.
