Kevin Hokoana Not Paying out Affiliates?

Hi,

I have promoted some products for Kevin Hokoana, and made some affiliate sales, but he does not answer emails, and getting hold of the guy is next to impossible. I have even phoned him in the states, but no joy.

Is this a common theme with this guy?

    Crazy, I made this guy $750 in about 3 weeks without even trying, just by testing, and now over 6 weeks later, no affiliates payments as promised, and zero communication.

    I would definitely avoid doing any affiliate promotion for this guy, Kevin Hokoana.

    He has just thrown away at least $10,000 a year from me in affiliate profits.

    A note to affiliate promoters - This is NOT the way to treat the people who put the bread on your table...

    Hey Steven, I work with Kevin as well and had trouble getting paid until I found out that he's an Air Force Major and was unavailable for a few weeks straight due to the North Korea stuff. I know Roger (his partner) really well too which is how I found that out. On top of that their money was held up in reserves with the payment processor since Kevin is in Japan and so on.
    I was patient and did get paid, granted my commissions owed were in high 5 figures - PM me your skype and I'll hook you up with him directly

    I already have Kevin and Roger on Skype, and the promises keep coming about payment, but so far... nothing..

    I won't be promoting anything else for them, because they are simply unreliable, and traffic is valuable, and I will be pushing the traffic to somewhere it is appreciated, and for affiliates promoters that respect their affiliates, because these two certainly don't!

    I'm just waiting to see if he does eventually pay, because if not, then hey, he obviously won't value his online reputation...

    I don't know what number you called but Kevin is in the Air Force stationed in Japan. I have been working with him for five years and have never known him to intentionally do anything except help people make money. He is known for his generosity.

    Support systems are set up by leaders who truly are making a great deal of money because they don't have time to talk to each and every one of the tens of thousands of people who subscribe to them.

      I have now been paid by Kevin, although just to come back on the patronising quote you have stated above; which I have highlighted in black..

      We also make a great deal of money, and have turned over millions over the last 10 years online, and when WE launch a product, we ENSURE that our customers, and partners can contact us.

      Now, on this particular affiliate situation with Kevin, even though we signed up, and even though we took it for granted that we would get paid, we had to search the internet for ANY contact details for Kevin, and even had to contact another of Kevin's partners to ask him to contact Kevin for us, which thankfully he did.

      The conclusion is, there is no point in a 'leader' having a support network, if nobody can find it!

      So do not try and patronise me on a public forum. The facts are the facts. I made sales, and could not contact the promoter because NO details were presented to do so. Fact.

      Kevin is now paying us on a regular basis, albeit we now have stopped any further efforts to market the products due to this unfortunate situation, but I do wonder if I had not gone to the lengths I have to get paid, if I would have been paid. I guess we will never know.

      By my estimations, we were on course to generate Kevin, and ourselves at least $10,000 each a year, without even really trying, and from one product, and now that won't happen due to the confidence being lost.

      No viable 'leader' worth their salt, would construct a situation where such amounts were going to potentially be lost, due to poor communications. Even now, on the Infusion affiliate software, there are no contact details present.

      Also, since this thread went live, I have had other affiliates contact me via private message asking for contact details for Kevin, so it seems I was not the only one with this issue, and who missed, and could not find the support system.

        As I said in my original message which wasn't meant to be patronizing at all… Kevin has a customer service. The support button is definitely on the Membership website and in my message I gave you two places that you can use to contact customer support. I can give you a telephone number as well if you would like it. If people are contacting you then you should just give them the customer support contact information I gave you. Your complaint was that you could not reach Kevin. My answer was he is in the Air Force. The number you want to call or the address you want to use is customer support. How this is patronizing I have no idea. If you are truly making millions year I can't imagine that you would expect all of your customers to be able to contact you directly. I would expect that you have an office with contact information and trained staff to help people solve their problems. As you said you were paid and this was resolved. That is what customer support is for. So if you know of others who are supposed to be getting a commission I would truly appreciate it if you would forward that contact information to them.

          Where did I say I was 'making millions per year'? I said we had turned over millions over the last 10 years, which was to show you that we are not newbie idiots who need to be told what 'leaders who make great deals of money need to do'.

          Yes, we do have a communications infrastructure, but we also ensure that our clients, and affiliates of our own products have direct access to it, without having to scavenge around the Internet in search of such details. It is highly unprofessional.

          Now, you mention that your details are on your 'membership website', that maybe so, but we came across a simple page advertising an affiliate product, via Infusion Soft, where we signed up, and in the affiliate area there are no support details. If you wish me to screenshot and make a 5 minute video showing this to prove the point, I will gladly do so.

          Your answer of 'Kevin is in the Airforce' has no bearing on this situation, because if what you say is true, and Kevin's support details were advertised in all the areas that he does business, and all his affiliate outlets, then we wouldn't even be having this conversation.

          You do know that affiliates are not simply your customers, don't you? They are your PARTNERS and need to be treated as such, with professionalism and respect.

          What you should have done, is just come to this forum and said:

          "It was a mistake that the support system was not advertised on the affiliate log in area, and we will take measures to rectify this to avoid it happening again in the future".

          That would have been it. Everyone makes mistakes, but affiliates are partners, and not people to speak down to just because somebody 'makes a lot of money'.

          Some of the companies we are affiliates for are far larger than we are, and some smaller. It does not matter. It is simply a case of business associations for mutual benefit.

          Nothing more, nothing less.

          My recommendation, is to add your support details to all Kevin's affiliate outlets to avoid this situation happening again.

          Whether you take such advice, from a partner, instead of creating yet another post to try and backtrack, is up to you.

          I suggest you let that be an end to the matter, and simply provide support in ALL the areas that your affiliates are working in, and who are spending vast amounts of effort to promote your products. It is the least they deserve, and expect.

          No need to reply, I think everything has been said from both sides.

          Just to edit that.

          A potential customer emails us today stating that there are security issues with the page that they were trying to buy from, on your website, which has now obviously cost us a sale, and no doubt other lost sales.



          Come on, sort it out. These are all very basic mistakes that are costing your affiliates money!!

    Steven, I've had the same problems with this Kevin like you
    and I'm sure others have also. He needs to get a reliable
    person to help him, or forget IM and focus on his military career.
    It is not fair for us, or this industry to have people like him
    doing business the way he is.

    I am going to email that Currie I see in the post to try
    and get my money back that I spent on his nonsense.

        Please do not try and imply forum rules as a way of keeping exposure like this away from searches.

        Fact: This was all posted BEFORE we could find any details for Kevin, as they were not advertised anywhere, which was the mistake of the promoter, and if such details had been provided then this thread would never have existed.

        Also, this thread was created to ask for advice from any other affiliates, to see if they also had a problem, not by way of customer support; only you created that situation when you came here, and then tried to belittle the very people who are making you money, then tried to backtrack.

        You might want to read all this again.

        A lesson learned I hope.
